We have the feddbacks of real people who consumed the products of Edwards Gardens (Zoo) in the area close to York (Canada).
Now the business gets a rating of 4.7 stars out of 5 and that rating has been calculated on 127 reviews.
You may have noticed that it has an average rating is almost the best, and it is founded on a very high number of feddbacks, so we may say that the assessment is quite credible. If there are many people who bothered to give their score when they are pleased with the service, is that it works.
You know that we don't usually bother to put scores when these are good and we usually do it only if we have had a problem or incidence...
This Zoo belongs to the category of Garden.
Very nice place to enjoy the nature especially in fall, it's full of colors. Admission us free. There's parking fee of $5. Take some food and water with you.
Like so many other reviews, I was amazed when I came here for the first time, and still do get blown away every visit thereafter. The gardens are well kept and hats off to the staff here because they do an amazing job. The sculptures are also wonderful and provide an added level of enjoyment. It's a great place to come and I highly recommend it.
Beautiful botanical garden where you can easily spend the day leisurely
This park was nice though. It has a huge green roof with a few tiny wooden posts that have nice views of the pond that were built for a lake. So cool that we came across them on their way to the aquarium after I got back from the event.
Great place to go out with your family. Greenery everywhere. Enjoy day out with friends and family.it offers bike trails , field house, greenhouse conservatory, parking lot , picnic shelter and washroom facility. You would have to pay for …
Nature and gardener/horticulture lovers happy place. I love that it's FREE. It's beautiful, lovely, educational, relaxing. Connects to Wilket Creek Park/trail which connects to Sunnybrook park, making the experience feel as quick or unending as you'd like. Lots of trail and off trail cyclists, photography enthusiasts. Parking is much easier to pay for with the Blinkay app (meter screens are unreadable). There is a cafe with seating, washrooms, a little store. Trees, flowers, birds, streams you won't see in more urban areas. How is it free?!
Not as good as before, fall colors still didn't mature, maybe for Covid they gave less effort in taking care, but still I enjoyed the place
Amazing place with a great deal of displays. Definitely somewhere you could enjoy on a sunny day with family/friends. Pets are NOT allowed due to the maintenance of the flower garden. Has a mini-waterfall, definitely a display to check out.
What an absolute gem!! I love how pretty much every city in the province has beautiful parks that are emaculately maintained. This garden has a waterfall that we unfortunately missed the last time we were here but made sure got it covered this time. Incredibly relaxing to wander through the garden and you can veer off into adjacent gardens for a longer trail visit. The parking charges are 2.5 CAD per hour, which is very reasonable. I recommend to download the app (the signs are posted by the parking meters). As it's such a scenic and beautiful spot you're unlikely to leave in a hour so highly recommend spending more than 2+ hrs here. I'm gonna visit next fall once again!
A more than pleasant and pleasant place to be in contact with nature. Its gardens and river that cross it are spectacular in summer and autumn. The cafeteria inside has a variety of snacks and food to enjoy with the family. I liked it a lot and make an opportunity to visit it, you will love it.
it is a beautiful garden. lot of flowers, Good for everyone to go, for a walk, sit & read a book or go take pictures. there are a lot of benches for resting. there is a cafe for snack. there is washroom. Parking is only $2.5 per hour. I think it is a good place to spend an afternoon. There is no control of admission, in some good weather day, there might be a lot of people. you might consider wear a mask if it is too crowded. i recommend this garden
Lovely garden… we had an awesome family hangout here ????. So much nature to enjoy
This place is great, it's a good and easy walk make sure to use proper shoes if going into the bike trails. The trails themselves are not clearly marked but most of it is pretty obvious and it's very well maintained. The parking is paid per hour (2.5 at the moment) the machines were not functional but the app was really easy to use.
A beautiful park with beautiful flower gardens, it's an absolutely gem. The way it's decorated to the trails to go on a walk on to flower during summer. It's a outstanding and gorgeous place.
Beautiful place. Easy to get lost amongst all the trails. There's a nice small creek running through it. Parking is $2.50 and don't forget to stop at their Bloom Cafe located inside the park and grab a hot/cold drink for your walk.
Amazing area for a walk and morning coffee. Take in the sights and especially great if you love photography. Stand back and look around. Every side has great views and especially perfect with fall here and the colors perfect.
It's always a beautiful park to visit. Lots of blooms right now but lots of spaces are fenced off for construction. Parking is now paid, or park at shops and walk down. Beware that there are tons of people there despite the stay at home restrictions.
First visit, it is a really nice place. On the down side, they do need a bit more control, there was a adult pics photo shoot going on in the middle of the afternoon in the middle of the park with a lot of kids around.. not against the shoot, but maybe not the place/time.
Love this place. Great stroll and lush greens and colours. Kids can catch and release minnows in the creek.
Probably my most favourite garden in the city. Lots of parking space if you’re bringing car and highly commutable if coming with transit. It’s filled with soothing nature. Great mix of trees, flower and water. But the best part is probably the size of it, that it isn’t too big or too small. Also the variation of nature you get to explore.
This place gets busy - especially on weekends, but throughout the week, traffic is far and few and you get to really enjoy the area. It's bike free (although poorly adhered too) which is nice if you like to pop some music on, without the fear of being whizzed over. Altogether, a great spot
Beautiful all seasons and a wonderful place to spend plenty of time exploring. So many blooms even in late fall.
Beautifully maintained and a nice gift shop. Can get very crowded in nice weather though.
Although some areas are closed for construction right now, it is still a great place for a short walk, with the blooming flowers. And maybe you will run into the resident beavers.
Beautiful gardens and nice location to take a walk and be surrounded by nature. Visited on a Saturday afternoon and found it a bit too crowded. It has a nice network of trails that connect to other smaller parks. Some really great spots to go for a picnic as well.
This place is hidden gem in the middle of the busy city. There are two sections Trails snd Garden. I visited both and spend almost 1hr there. Parking fee is reasonable. If you go on a weekday you can literally feel peaceful due to less crowd. I loved this place and yes it's amazing for a small group picnic too.
Nice place for picnic and a get away from the city, just in the city.
Its a great location for visiting. The area is very calm and quiet. There is beautiful scenery in this garden. There is a variety of botonical plants well maintained. It has a long road way to walk for a long distance. There is a small river on the side by. It's a great place to spend time with our family. Overall it was a great experience.
So clean and beautiful. Lots of trails to explore. Great for pictures.
Spent an amazing evening in this park! It was such a nice walk. There was a bit of construction going on, but that did not make it less enjoyable to spend time there.
Beautiful place. The gardens that were open were stunning. Even the kiddos were happy with the visit.
I didn't get to walk the whole pathway but for what I was able to see it's really nice and beautiful. I entered closer to the garden area. They have side parking near it but I realized from the map inside the Garden, they have a designated …
A beautiful garden with so much to admire. The entrance is full of foliage that would take at least an hour to fully take in. The rest is a lovely park with sprinkles of gardens and moments when you forget you’re in the busiest city in Canada. Plan to stay for a while.
This place is much more amazing in real life. You need to see it in person I love how beautiful and well-kept it is. No entrance fees but please donate to help with the upkeep. There is a Gatdrn Café which is temporarily closed, there's a flower shop with so many beautiful souvenirs (sunhats, mugs, purses, bags, scarves and so many more things, they also sell cold water just in case) This place is beautiful and pictures don't do it justice. A huge garden with a mini waterfall, a teaching garden, a "bee hotel", a sensory garden and a bike trail. Just perfect !
Definitely a Beautiful place to visit & take a walk! A MUST go garden in Summer every year!
Besssttt for view kf gardens moutains hills river and specially the space for walking ????????♀️
Excellent trails for walk or run! Beautiful views!
Very cute place if you're looking for an outdoor and free activity. I finally got 10k steps in again and it felt like nothing. There's lots of paths for bicycles. Families rode with no worries about cars. Highly recommended.
Edwards Gardens is one of the most beautiful parks and green space in Toronto. We visited in August 2020. Nice Gardens with trees and so many birds and kids playing in the park. I hope to see more places like this around the city and others as well. It is a beautiful park and one of the nicest in the city. There is a lot of pathways to walk around. Although you need to pay for parking and there is parking for cars to visit. A highly recommend.
It's a little bit small park. At first this garden is a kind of huge botanical garden but it is so smaller than I expected. It can be recommended to the residents for taking a walk.
What a little gem! I love how pretty much every city in the province has beautiful parks that are emaculately maintained. …
Nice park for walking around beautiful neighbourhood of Toronto. Smaller than I thought for hiking ???? I believe it would be more beautiful in summer and fall with colours and green. There is a little more restriction on what you can do what you can’t. Read the sign before you plan your day.
Good cheap parking. Lots of trails. Many benches for seating. Absolutely breath-taking when in season. Grounds are flat to accommodate wheelchair, walkers too.
Edwards Gardens and the Toronto Botanical Garden are amazing in the spring. Early to late May is the best time to come as the temperature rises to the teens and the flowers start blooming.
Love this park, beautiful and has lots to do. Great trail and kids areas.
It's a gorgeous close to the Victoria Day long weekend! A comfortable 20 degrees Celsius & beautiful sunshine for taking a relaxing nature walk in a City of Toronto park. This beats being in traffic coming back from the cottage on the busy GTA highways, unless you happen to own a cottage! Pay and display parking is $2.50 per hour with a two hour limit at Edwards Gardens. Enforcement is 24/7 as per the posted signage. Enjoy this beautiful botanical gardens located on the southwest corner of Leslie Street and Lawrence Avenue E. Huge trees, perennial flowers (...including Peonies which will blossom in the coming weeks) wildlife and paved pathways zig zag throughout the forested parkland. Some areas are closed off by fencing as construction is in progress or paused for the time being due to COVID-19 measures. There are many park benches to sit, relax and let your mind wander. Washrooms and a Cafe are open for business (which is a relief no matter which venue you choose).
This place is so huge! The paths here are very long and there are a lot semi hidden trails where you could go. There is a really long river that goes threw the park with multiple areas with rocks which you could jump on. There are a lot of resting areas as well. If you come by car, the parking is very cheap at 2.50$ an hour. The area is located near the most expensive street in canada which Drake lives on. A lot of fields are located in this park so you can have a picnic if you want. I attached some beautiful photos to this review.
Love this park. This is one of the nicest walks in the heart of Toronto. It starts with a beautiful garden on Lawrence. Spring flowers are beautiful and is fine spot for amateur photographers taking flower pictures. Fall leaves ???? is another beautiful time to visit for the colors. I took pictures in any season and it always surprises with many many wonderful views. It is a popular destination for many Torontonians. Park is connected with a hike that continues all the way to the lake. It is very nice hike for pedestrians and a popular start destination for bikers ????♀️. There is also a mountain bike trail that goes in between trees for adventure audience. It is not very crowded at the moment. Stay safe.
Absolutely love this place!!! We went for a nice walk today and had a picnic next to a wonderful flower bed. Such picturesque views! The only change from our last visit, parking is now $2.50 per hour, but we were happy to support the garden. Thank you for keeping the grounds so beautiful!
Great place to go and relax with friends and family. Beautiful greenery, spaces and paths for strolls and picnics. I've gone here since I was a child and it's kept much of the fond memories I'd had growing up in the many features such as the water wheel, it's buildings and old trees and the ever assortment of flowers and foliage the garden's have to offer.
Fantastic park with acres of green spaces, drinking fountains, Cafe on site, and grill for those who love to picnic outdoors. Plenty of parking spots which always comes in handy, bike and walking trails. …
One of the best parks I have ever been. Even the entrance is like park of its own. It got great atmosphere and beutiful nature. It is huge. You could spend whole day, exploring it.
One of the most beautiful parks in the GTA if not the best.
Visited during March, and even though there was no flowers, the park was still very nice to walk through. Lots of signs to educate visitors on the benefits of certain flowers and animals. Park connects to a larger nature trail which is convenient as it makes the visit a longer, more enjoyable one. Lots of paid parking, and some street parking nearby if you want to walk a tiny bit to the park entrance
Great flowers, clear air and beautiful trails. Good place to chill and enjoy the blooms
Great for enjoying nature when the park is not busy during the week. Gets busy on weekends when the weather is good and especially during Fall. Path for walking or jogging along the stream. Visit during Fall to see the variety of Fall colors. Lots of flowers for pictures. Open grass spaces for hanging out.
Beautiful place for a spring short hike. There is a small cafe there. I highly recommend their banana bread. Some parts of the park are closed due to construction but still beautiful and worth the time. My photoes were taken in spring.
It looks to me like Edwards Gardens is closed for the season. There are still reasons to visit. I was there early in the morning and enjoyed the peace and privacy.
This is a great garden with beautiful flowers. Big parking lot here( the price is 2,5$ per hour). Perfect gateway for families and couples. No biking, only walking allowed. One part of the park is under construction right now…
Natural beauty you amazed. The variety of flowers and so on indoor is closed but outdoor so.much fun in the nature and quality of time.
This visit was inspired by my co-worker who shared beautiful pictures after her visit. It was a Tue morning in August 2021; humid, and hot but sunny. Flowers were blooming and there were only a handful of people there, perhaps because of the hot weather. There are big trees and a number of flower beds with blooming beautiful flowers of different varieties. Lots of busy bees. We stayed there for about an hour and took some really good pictures. We had decided that we would go back again in upcoming weeks to explore other areas we did not get to visit in the garden. If I lived nearby, I would have visited it a few times every week. I wonder how it looks like during other seasons.
OMG, this is my first time of going to Edward's Garden. It was such a calming environment. So many different stunning, breath taking flowers. Your spring experience will not be complete without a visit to Edward Garden.
A very beautifully planted flower beds which fills the complete garden with range of colours. One can enjoy trails that connects Edward gardens to Toronto botanical garden. We visited at the outbreak of spring and brought back colourful memories, will definitely visit again.
One of the best park around the area. Lots of flower and tree variety, and seem to be well maintained. Was sad to see an uneducated person take a handful of daffodils home from parking lot..
This is a beautiful place to visit for a short time or for hours. It's easy to find and to get to, in the middle of the city. The grounds are huge and include wide open spaces, narrow paths, dense flora/fauna and gorgeous scenery. On weekends from spring to autumn you can expect multiple wedding parties, engagement / family photo sessions and the occasional proposal, too. It's a great place for a picnic. They charge for parking now, but only $2.50 (in 2020) so not too bad.
Edwards Gardens is a botanical garden. And it’s really beautiful all year long. But the best season of all is the end of summer and fall. Everything is green and colourful. People are very nice and you see so many visitors. During COVID 19, everyone is trying their best of practicing social distancing; and it worked out very well. The gift ship was open this time. Though it was closed for quite a period of time before this. And just bring your coffee and sandwich and enjoy the weather and the breeze. There are benches all around the gardens.
Very beautiful garden! Go early otherwise it's hard to find parking. Parking is $2.50 per hour. Saw some people parked across the street.
Wonder full place to visit with family and friends. Photo shoot for photographers paradise. All places are best to color and trails are very neat and nicely maintained. It goes up hill some times so aged persons should take care. Nice picnic place. Restrooms are there so no worries.
Beautifully landscaped garden which is a great place to go for a walk in the many paths or take pictures!
I went there on a rainy day, so couldn’t enjoy the whole beauty of it. But it is a beautiful place adjacent to the Toronto botanical garden. Go there with your family or friends, walk down the trails through the woods, enjoy the flower gardens. Entry is free. Parking costs $2.50 per hour.
Very big garden & from there you can walk to wicket creek park too. So it's good for walking exercise......
Summer Nice Weather here, Fully Vaccinated, i went to Edwards Gardens - well maintained by Toronto Parks & Recreation - …
The Christmas market was this weekend and it was a really fun experience for the whole family...lot of great vendors with many great beautiful things to buy. Admission was free so I would urge people to go next year if they have it on again. For those gardeners out there...the library had a huge selection of gardening books at prices ranging from $2.00 and $5.00 you cannot beat those prices???? We cannot wait to go again!!!
AN EAST END GEM! A beautiful mix of art and nature. Flower beds galore intertwined with sculptures and bird houses, a creek, and lots of photo opportunities. I've been here many times and I always find a new turn I haven't gone down before and see something fresh and exciting.
Such a beautiful place to walk! The early summer/fall has been my favourite. The summer has beautiful plants and displays, lots of greenery. Fall of course has the gorgeous orange & yellows of changing leaves. A lovely way to get outside, get some exercise and fresh air.
It's a nice relaxing green space in the Toronto/Northyork area. It has some food options like the Garden Cafe. There are benches and areas to hang out all over the garden are, and there are an abundance of paths and trails to walk on. To …
It is a nice place to visit in any season. For winter you must bundle up and wear appropriate shoes.
Nice place for a short walk. For longer walks, you can take the Wilket Creek Recreational Trail and go all the way down to Eglinton East avenue
Beautiful trail especially this time of year and a great place for a photoshoot.
Great morning walk as always. Fresh air and fall colors.
