Wonderful place, wonderful staff and wonderful owner. My family and my nieces and nephew loved our visit. We had so much fun and the kids loved being able to interact with the animals. They keep asking to go back and visit again. We will be making another trip again soon.

Fred Potenza

It was a real treat being able to go around the entire park and feed all the different types of animals. It is a great place for children and adults.

Matt Calderone

Love the park, well taken care of animals, very gentile animals, cheap admission, the charm is in feeding the animals, loved feeding the giraffes with the leaves on the branch - felt like I was feeding a brontosaurus in Jurassic Park movie! We did the kangaroo encounter at 2:00. Unfortunately the kangaroos were already satisfied with food and didn't come over to us. Next time I would spend that money from the encounter on more food buckets and branches for the animals.

Place keeps growing which is nice. Went for the walk under the lights Christmas thing. They had some animals out that can stand the cold while the others were away. Dark so you couldn't see a ton but the lights were nice. Got to feed the giraffs carrots with the kids which was nice. Staff was super friendly and answered all questions. Very knowledgeable about the giraffes. Little pricey at 17 (Edit; $12, thank for reply Animal Adventure!) per person but it was fun. I understand animals are not cheap to keep and people are unlikely to go back several times a year. But, had a great time and the kids enjoyed it. Thats all that matters.

Chris

5 lunch boxes full of carrots, 7 buckets of feed, and several cups of pellets amounted to the best three days I have had in a long time. I have never visited a park where the Vet was seen going from exhibit to exhibit to examine the animals. I saw a keeper grooming and combing animals. The park is clean well kept and you can tell this right from the parking lot. The staff is so friendly and welcoming. Shari on the Giraffe deck was so kind, she answered all my questions and was so knowledgeable. Thank you Jordan and AAP. We will be back.

Early Sunday morning visit with friends was most enjoyable. Loved feeding the giraffes and animals. The lion was magnificent. I love penguins, and they were very active diving and swimming. Found the park to be handicap friendly with large walkways.

Rachel Brainard

Beautiful animal park, able to feed grain pellets, carrots and lettuce, wonderful signage with information on the animals, lots of up close and personal experiences with the animals, beautiful park, friendly staff. Great find, if in the area it's a must!

This is one of the best zoo I visited. There are a lot of animals kids can feed them. There are mostly exotic animals. My kids have a good time. The zoo doesn't require a lot of walking.

We love coming to Animal Adventure Park. This was our first time at Jungle Lights though and had a blast.

Such a fun place to come. We had tons of fun and we respected the rules and guidelines they have. I would come again if I didn't live 3 hours away.

Great lighting, but you could do only one Christmas lights or animal. Because they haven't put any light bulbs or anything to view the animals cage. Only thing is that you can feed giraffe.

For a small zoo we were pleasantly surprised. Lots of different animals. Clean, friendly staff answering any and all questions. Great place to bring kids. Can get pretty close to them and feed them

One of the greatest places to check out! Best hands on experiences EVER. Friendly staff, even friendlier animals, spacious, educational and just so much fun!! We truly felt like kids again! We can’t wait to visit Bao & Ming & all our new Giraffe friends again! Thanks for a great experience :)

Had a great time love how you can get up close to most of the animals and feed them. Also had a gem mining that was cool and came home with quite a few different gems and things. Definitely will go back.

The level of care and consideration the staff provide the animals is unmatched. Everyone is always extremely helpful and this is "must do" if you are in the greater binghamton area. Seriously top notch.

Loved the experience Animal Adventure Park offered my family. The staff not only genuinely care for each animal they enjoy educating visitors. Many larger zoo's can definitely learn something from this location. Visitors come from all over the world!

As a capybara fan, I loved it here! You can feed them carrots, lettuce, or pellets from the bucket that you can purchase at admission. They were hiding when I first came to their enclosure (probably under the water?) so I walked around the rest of the zoo and when I came back there were three of them out and about. Very cute I love them so much!

This was such a great place to take the grandbabies Ben and Eric who had a blast seeing all the different animals. Also knowing we were help feeding the animals during a time the cost of animal feed is high it felt like a nice thing to help while teaching the little ones about wildlife. Definitely recommend checking it out.

We totally love Animal Adventure Park. We are from TN and have visited twice. I wish we could go more. The park is clean, handicap accessible, great and professional staff, beautiful and healthy animals, educational, great prices, great gift shop and so much more. The park and it’s mission and vision perfectly match the beautiful and majestic landscape. The owner of the park works hard to be out among the guests greeting and sharing his incredible insight! If you travel from out of the area plan a few days to take it all in and get to know the animals and staff. Be prepared to fall in love with the park!

Really cool place! I actually used to take my future wife on dates there while during my courtship of her! We loved it there, so much so in fact that I even took her to a couple of their encounters this past Valentine’s Day! We had an encounter with the penguins and luckily one of April the giraffes final encounters, god rest her soul.. But it’s a love/hate relationship with AAP. I experienced a few things there that even almost a year later still don’t sit right with me… I was tasked with burying 3 animals that had passed on, in a remote location deep in the woods. The three animals were a sloth, a tortoise, and a baby bison. They were frozen and stored in their walk in cooler for most of the winter I was told by staff as I was handed 2 large garbage bags and a large plastic tote. I revolted at the thought initially but was told not to worry, “the sloth was an explanative”. That didn’t help but I did anyways. I regret this and it haunts me, as well as at least one of the two friends that helped me do it, especially because next I was tasked with cleaning out the bison paddock that at the time had not been cleaned since October (this was late March). This task took almost an entire day, 2 people, a rather large excavator, as well as a pickup and dump trailer running loads of waste the entire time. At that point it hit me that I never did see a baby bison while I was there. Both events just so happened to take place during a rushed and hectic event which was preparing for a USDA inspection, I do not know if they are in fact related to that in any way though. The only reason I’m able to divulge this information is because an NDA was never discussed nor signed, and because it’s the truth, to which I have proof and witnesses. Lastly I would like to finish this off with that fact that I do not know anything regarding these animals cause of death, I was not present at the time of their departure as well as I do not know the legality of what I did. Could be perfectly legal, it’s just something that bothers me, hence my mixed review.

Me and my 6 year old son absolutely enjoyed this place. Unlike regular zoos, it is very interactive. You get to pet and feed most of the animals.

Always enjoyed this Zoo. Good variety of animals. Lots of opportunity to feed and pet various animals. And to be able to feed giraffes. Zoo's clean and well maintained. Great with young kids.

Went to the holiday light show here last night. I didn't realize you can get that close to the giraffes. Very nicely decorated, a little on the pricey side for what small amount if animals you get to see. Santa was amazing, very interactive and very attentive. Overall a good time with 20 or so people in our group.

Melanie Rieger

First time there and was very enjoyable. Extremely well run park.

Best Animal Park ever !! It's much different than a zoo. All the animals are so loved and cared for, the park is so clean and beautiful. All the time and effort that Jordan Patch and his animal care team/keepers and park staff put in is visible when you visit the park. The park is great for families with kids, and animal lovers of all ages. I just came back from my 3rd visit to the park. I drove 6 hours one way just to go to the park.

Kel Kel

We went to see tiger cubs and we were impressed how cute they were. I wish we could hold them or take pictures with them. The other animals in the zoo we fed were girrafe, llama, sheep and tortoise. White lion and lioness were beautiful. Kids had wonderful time and three hours were spent very quickly. We would definitely recommend to go there specially if you have young kids.

Three generations of us enjoyed the day touring, learning, and being totally impressed by not only the collection of animals but by the engaging, knowledgeable staff who clearly love their work. The improvements that have occurred since I was last there two years ago--revamped animal enclosures, the feeding platforms, lovely new restrooms, and beautiful, yet unobtrusive landscaping--demonstrate Jordan's plan to provide the best animal/human interaction. The park provided a memory-making day!

Marci Gaynor

Love it here! Great for all ages. Feed bucket is worth it. Extremely accessible, has child care stations, concession stands, well maintained walk ways. Friendly, helpful staff. We love to bring lunch & eat outside at the picnic area before, during, or after our visit.

Home of the famous April the Giraffe!! As an animal lover, I know of no better place to go to be close to and interact with animals of all species, sizes and personalities. I have had the pleasure of feeding a giraffe, giving a bottle to a baby camel and learned so much about many other species from the incredibly knowledgeable owner and staff. The park is one of the cleanest I have ever been to. Jordan the owner has thought of everything from stations for children with special needs, special nights for those with low sensory needs and many many other accommodations that are suited for everyone. I highly recommend this park for all families and all the Big Kids out there. If you love animals, this is a must see.

Good variety of animals with plenty of info about them. The enclosures for some didn’t seem to match what I’d expect for the animal (the penguins had a grassy lawn-like enclosure instead of a sandy beach-like habitat for example) but the animals seemed happy and it’s a smaller zoo. I wasn’t a fan of the dyed ponds though. It made the water look unnaturally blue. All in all it was a fun time!

We live about 40 minutes away and this year we bought a season pass which was 1000% worth it! My 2 year old spent many days running happily through the park, feeding all the animals. It’s always so clean and you can tell the animals are very well cared for! We bring all our family here when we need something to do for the day and the grown ups always love it just as much as the kids.

This is an awesome place for people of all ages ! Very educational friendly staff well paved walk ways Displays well maintained healthy looking animals and a super great place to visit we went on a gorgeous October day. There were 3 adults in my party and each one of us had super great time We're planning on returning for there Christmas light display ! Admission prices are lower for children and seniors. Oh yes !! They have animal food at park to buy - no outside food or beverage allowed in park

I cannot believe how nice this park is. They are only about 10 minutes farther from my house than a local zoo (whose name won't be mentioned) BUT leap and bounds cleaner, brighter and more interactive! My 2 year old and his friend had a blast here on Saturday! From watching to baby tigers play, to feeding the many giraffes, to watching the penguins waddle. The park itself is extremely fresh, clean and the staff very friendly and interactive. Would highly recommend here for your young ones! Cannot wait to come back! Going to try to make it to the Christmas lights spectacular this year!

I live in Michigan but this is where my husband is from. We visited near Christmas and it was my first time. This is such a unique experience and I for sure recommend going! There are animals that I would have never imagined being able to get remotely close to that you literally have the opportunity to pet and/or feed here. It's amazing! I will say the size of some of the enclosures makes me feel a little bummed for some of the animals but I also understand this is a small family farm.

We went for their christmas light event! I have to say, this was such a nice thing to go and do with how terrible a year 2020 has been. Everyone was doing a great job practicing good hygiene, masks and social distancing while enjoying the lights and getting outside to feed some animals! A super nice facility with a cute gift shop and lots to do! Thanks so much for going to the trouble to give people some normalcy and joy during this holiday season! ♡

Best animal park ever! Great way to spend a weekend away if you live far away. Get to feed and get up close to animals that you can’t at a normal zoo. Extremely clean, lots of parking available if you know how to read signs, food is excellent and very affordable. Plenty of places to wash your hands, port o pots are everywhere and if you find one dirty I will come 4 hrs away to clean it. They all were spotless!! We spent 2 days there! Keeper talks are great and informative and are posted where you enter park. Plenty of shade and places to sit down. New gift shop full of awesome items. Side note : please read signs about what each animal eats and don’t feed them what they don’t! Watch the camels they will steal your cup LOL. Say hello to staff roaming around they are all awesome people!! There is nothing I can say bad about this park. What I can say is stop reading and GO!!!!

It was a hot day and the staff are nice and friendly and very knowledgeable on all their animal friends. P.s you can feed most of the animals if you have the hay pellets or carrots or lettuce. Be smart. Don't try to feed or touch the carnivores.

Lynn Way

Out of all amazing, I loved all of the animals and there were some animals I have always wanted to see. Most of them I could feed for example goats or lamas and they all looked great in shape and looked like they were taken care of. One of the best parts was feeding the giraffes. The giraffes took the carrots and loved it. This place wasn't too crowded so it was enjoyable. Will 100% want to go again.

After following Animal Adventure Park since 2017, it was doubtful I'd ever make the 1,831 mile (one-way) trek to see it live. But through fate and wishing and "Dreaming Big" we drove to an east coast event using the northern route through NY State. We cuddled a baby sloth! Felt the soft sandpaper tongues of giraffes taking carrots from our hands, watched tiny kids feeding tiny kids (goats!) just their size. There are over 200 animals - many rare, all cute and very educational. Awesome, I can't say enough. Do it! (This was not an easy task and took month to plan. After a recent diagnosis of Muscular Dystrophy, I had to bring along travel oxygen, pace myself, be sure each stop had ADA/mobility options like walk-in showers, and with airport covid issues and unaffordable rental car costs, driving to AAP from Kansas became a very doable and pleasant option. The Park has ADA clean bathrooms on site, many clean wheelchairs for $6/day, lots of benches, shade when needed and e-v-e-r-y thing at the park is accessible. I could do and see everything in the park including feeding, reading, accessing, walking with my cane or sitting in a wheelchair.)

Janice Andress

Love coming here with my wife and 2 year old son. We all love the animals and interactive experience you get with the really friendly staff. The animals seem happy and are seemingly well cared for. I also took my 82 year old Mother , we were able to rent a wheel chair just in case but she really did not need it and she enjoyed herself! We went on a Monday and it was a great time to go with her it was not crowded at all! We will be back!

Best zoo experience! Well it’s smaller than a zoo, bigger than a petting zoo... Everything is pristine, people are great, and the way it is setup is very in tune with the environment. All the enclosures are framed in natural wood and everything is hands on (except the lions of course lol). Great experience overall!

We drove from Ohio to Animal Adventure Park - it was worth every mile and every dollar! It was just my husband and I - such a great great place to visit. We were so impressed with the beauty and cleanliness of the park. It was such a great experience. The animals were beautiful and it was so great to be able to get so close to them!!! We came with our 2 year old and he had a blast! There were many animals to see including giraffes, camels, tiger cubs, lions and many more. The park was clean and the food at the concession stand wasn't overly expensive. The best part for all of us was feeding the animals. We bought a bucket which included feed, lettuce, and carrots, and a cup of just feed. It's clearly marked what food NOT to give the animals and what animals not to feed at all. It's a blast feeding the giraffes and every kid (and adult) will love it. The only downside to feeding the girrafes is that a bunch of 5 carrot sticks (sliced from one carrot) costs $3 and they disappear FAST. Admission isn't too bad though so budget some extra money to feed the animals and create memories for a lifetime and you'll be fine.

Amanda Jones
