Amazing experience in the smokey mountains. Hubby enjoyed the rides...food stops were great as well. My fave was Dolly's museum and cinnamon bread place. Will return one day in summer for sure. Definitely worth paying for preferred parking.

By far my favorite theme park. The mix of hospitality, natural elements, food, roses, music, entertainment, and location make it the best spot you can go for a fun day. There's something for everyone, adults and kids of all ages. Our favorite place to start was the train ride, so we could get a lay of the land. My kids loved the car rides and all of the activities. I loved the big coasters and the live shows. You really can't go wrong spending the day here.

Me and my family always have blast here my work paid for everyone and there families to come this time f.i.t was celebrating 25 years of fiber. lots of walking but it's an amusement park lol some of the roller-coasters had an hour wait but the kid rides weren't to bad and bub was tall enough to ride most of them this year
It was decorated beautifully. Loved all the pumpkins and mums! Great music and food. Lots to see and do for everyone.
This is an excellent park, clean, good food, prices reasonable, staff friendly. Would rather go here than any Six Flags. Excellent!

Beautiful place to go, be there at the start you will need the whole day to enjoy it, see it all, shop and see shows. Lots of walking up and down hill so plan for it! Christmas lights were beautiful. Not many signs in the park to guide you the map was okay someone in our group down loaded an app that shows you the map and tracks where you are , was help full, Train ride was the best for me!

We went to Dollywood during Thanksgiving week. It was packed and it was a cold day! They have great Christmas shows and the best is Christmas in the Smokies. They sing about the birth of Jesus. That part put tears of joy in my eyes. The singing and everything about the show was great. It was like seeing a short Broadway show. Great quality! The rides are good but unfortunately it got so cold that they stopped some of the rides. The shops are also great. The candle shop and mining shop were fun. You can here throughout the park people singing Christmas songs. The lights are beautiful there as well. At the end we saw the fireworks. Thank you for keeping the real meaning of Christmas, which is Jesus.

I was last here in 2005. The price was reasonable and there was a lot happening. In this post Covid market that was not the experience this time. With the exception of hundreds of pumpkins all over the park. A tremendous effort was put into this year's pumpkin display which comes to life at night, if you hang around that long...... After you pay for the privilege of parking, it then costs just as much as Disney for an entry. Unless you are a roller coaster fanatic or enjoy Christian music, there is absolutely nothing there for you to do. Unless you like to wait in line for a meal because they are short staffed. I will say though if you get a chance to see there Broadway style throwback musical show in the theater it is thoroughly enjoyable! If you are a child of the 50s or the '60s this will bring a tear to your eyes. The singers are absolutely brilliant! It's a big theater. A cute stage. Great props. Good outfits. It is a must-see, probably later in the afternoon before you exit.
My family and I went to Dollywood for the first time and we had a good time. We enjoyed the train ride and all the history. My kids enjoyed the food games and rides. The whole experience was great. Everyone was so friendly and the entertainment was amazing as well. I can go on and on...
Dollywood is very clean. Good variety of foods to choose from. Shows we went to were well done. The map at times were hard to follow. Started this post yesterday, since then last night I had the results of food poisoning. It was from a salad that I ate. Beware!

Loved it! Only went for a day, but plenty of fun rides and for an amusement park the prices were pretty fair! The app was helpful with information on what rides were open and how long the waits were.

Very clean park. But for a hot day, there needs to be more fans where the lines are for ride's. Other than that we didn't have to wait in huge lines except for the lightning rod. Definitely worth it.

I am a huge fan of amusement parks and this one is the cleanest, friendliest, most family friendly park I've ever been too. The numerous roller coasters are high-quality and thrilling for adult enthusiasts. They also have several sections for kids and even feature classic rides. They have the elephant (dumbo) ride, the teacups, the scrambler, and the swing ride, to name a few. They even have a game that your kid can play until they win!!! This incredible, joy-filled destination is the jewel of the South. Thank you Dolly ???? We will be returning!

Beautiful during holidays!! Part of the park is closed off due to lack of staffing and you don't get any kind of discount either, so that was a little disappointing, but for the most part, we had a pretty good time watching the shows.

Such a fun experience! I grew up next to Disneyland, and I can not say enough how enjoyable this theme park was! So clean, minimal lines and a variety of coasters. You truly fly through the mountains and trees of the smokies. We paid extra for walking distance parking, which I would recommend as you can come and go as you please. Loved learning a bit about Dolly as well and walking through a replica of her childhood home. Cant wait to go back!

This place has a lot of great shops and rides for the whole family. Stop by to see bald eagles, blacksmiths, woodshops, leather work, gem shop, and many other fantastic gift stores. Overall atmosphere is fantastic, and the restaurants are on par with the "A+" service. I will say however, lots and lots of bees and wasps have made this place home, so be careful!
This is a great place to bring your family. But pack your patience! We waited for 3 HOURS for the Lightening Rod ride first thing when they opened. It only has ONE car instead of 2 like most rides. So, the line moves VERY Slow! It was actually the only ride that the Fast Pass would be worth using on. All of the other rides were under 30 minutes. But we wasted most of the day in that line. It got down to 33 degrees and we cut our visit short. So, we wanted some HOT chocolate. To our dismay, all they had was COLD chocolate! Yes! In the WINTER, they ran out of HOT WATER! Also, they have a staff shortages like everywhere. So please be kind to the staff! They do an excellent job.

As a coaster enthusiast the best thing about this park is definitely Lightning Rod. As a foodie the best thing about this park is the cinnamon bread. If Lightning Rod is down is it still worth coming to visit? I would say yes, but they only have a couple more coasters that are worth your time. The Eagle and the other wooden roller coaster. I do like that they have more musical shows. They musicians are great and they really look like they enjoy performing in the park. I went on a Wednesday and almost all the rides were a walk on.

This is a much better than average, family-oriented theme park. I went as a solo adult and had a great time. On a Wednesday morning, I was able to get all coaster credits that I wanted with 0-15 minute wait. The Dollywood app was helpful in reporting wait times for rides, allowing me to plan my short trip accordingly. Loved all Dolly's outfits and awards in the museum. Unfortunately thre were many closures, from Dolly's tour bus to the theater to top rides including Lightning Rod and Barnstormer. But I understand that staffing is an issue. The harvest fest decorations were just beautiful all over the park. I will say my one disappointment was over a one hour wait for the famous fresh cinnamon bread. I would suggest a second location on site to serve this popular item. If I ever return for a second visit, I would go for the bread first then go for coasted credits. Finally I want to recognize the exceptional staff at Dollywood. From the tram attendants to ride operators to cashiers to maintenance, every single employee was friendly, helpful and a great ambassador. It was very nice to see so many guests with special needs, being accommodated at the park. Truly a place for everybody to enjoy, as Dolly would want it.
Had a great first time coming to the amusement park. I really enjoyed the rides and it was nice that the park wasn't too busy and the wait times were short. I definitely recommend going on the train ride.

Dollywood is my new local (Appalachian TN local) Disney world. As a kiddo of a recent cast member at Disney growing up with a low income, I grew up Disney- because with family admission we could vacation for cheaper than anywhere else. I had the motel 8 version of Disney. It was confusing going to Dollywood for the first time... But after becoming an annual passholder for the last few years I am totally impressed. My husband and I have a nonverbal autistic 3 year old who isn't easy to travel with. He absolutely loves the Dollywood parks because they have play areas for the little kids. A lot of them include water play! And one is even indoors. They accommodate my son with a special needs line pass that allows you to wait out of line with a child who had special needs. The food is pretty good, but prepare to wait in some long lines. But as a momma and a wife I'm totally impressed. Dollywood for the win with this Disney girl!!

Dolly, we love you!!! Finally made it to Dollywood!! This park is a gem and a blessing! Great coasters, food and above all... Wonderful staff!!! Dolly continues to give back to her community and to all of us in the world!! I and my hubby went to Universal Studios Orlando, Cedar Point, and Kings Island, within the last three months and Dollywood was the BEST out of all the amusement parks. I and my husband are also ACE (AMERICAN ROLLER COASTER ENTHUSIASTS). Dollywood's coasters, deliver. Steel Vengeance in Cedar Point is still my fav coaster, but Lighting Rod, gave us a thrill ride, also, along with all the other rides. Save some money and come to Dollywood, definitely a fraction of the price of Universal and Cedar Point. See you soon Dollywood !!!!!! ???? ???? ????
A family friendly amusement park. Any thing Dolly Parton puts her name in is going to be family friendly. Great variety of rides and shows (Country and Christian). Beautiful fall decorations, and family friendly.
I was surprised how busy the park was on a Wednesday in December. Waited 40 minutes for the delicious cinnamon bread. Definitely plan for two days if you're from out of town and use the app to pay for the overpriced parking.

Went to Dollywood this past weekend for the first time and I was extremely impressed! The shops all reminded me of what Gatlinburg used to be with artisans working their crafts and you could buy truly unique gifts or things for yourself or home. The fall decorations and lights were great and after dark they were amazing! The rides were top notch and as I'm a huge fan of roller-coasters I was not disappointed here either! We will be going back soon!

Tucked into the Smoky Mountains, Dollywood offers world-class entertainment, well themed attractions, and fantastic food offerings. Families will love the expansive Wildwood Grove section of the park, whimsically themed around a garden. Thrill seekers will love award-winning roller coasters like Lightning Rod and Wild Eagle. This park also offers live shows, zoo exhibits, and delicious food. (speaking of which, you simply cannot visit Dollywood without waiting in line for a loaf (or five) of their famous cinnamon bread.. It's simply mouth-watering). If you're in the area, you have to visit Dollywood!
Dollywood was a fantastic theme park to visit during the Christmas holiday! The park was all lit up with Christmas lights and there was holiday music playing. The park was clean and wheelchair accessible. There are a lot of small hills so pushing my chair was difficult at times. Renting a scooter might be a better option for some folks. I definitely recommend a visit if you are in the Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge area.

We always go at Christmas to see the lights, and it puts us in the most festive mood! I also bought several Christmas gifts here this year. My one recommendation would be to open a second cinnamon bread place because there's always a really long line (it is soooo good). The Wild Eagle is different than any other roller coaster I've ridden. ???? I've this place, and I love Dolly.

Christmas time in the Great Smoky Mountains! Can't beat the surrounding area's scenery for a tender TN Christmas. Shows I give 5 stars. Great talented voices and musicians. Love that the theme of family and making memories is supported throughout the experience and that's really what it's all about. Take the self tour of Dolly's museum and tour bus, tells her story, she has done alot to help her community over the years especially to help families who lost their homes destroyed by fire. Dolly's costumes are on display and they are a trip! The decor is festive for the season and quaint, the craftsman feel of local artists is fun and more personable, the food smells make you want to chow down on some Christmas goodies. Regarding rides 4 stars, there was a slight issue with the single rider line. The person loading the coaster on one of the rides would only allow a single rider access if the coaster literally only had 1 empty seat SMH. That's not how a single rider line is supposed to work. The attendant was even breaking up larger groups and creating single riders among their own parties meanwhile not boarding the single riders. My wife doesn't ride many coasters so I thought I would get in the single rider line and hop on. An hour wait later I realized what was taking so long, were only allowing single rider if coaster only had 1 empty seat to fill. Fix that little tweak for a better guest experience and 5 star all the way!
Dollywood was so fun. Everyone of the staff were very nice and helpful. The rides, food and museum were amazing! Highly recommended for everyone!

This was actually my very first time visiting Dollywood, but I'll be back! I was impressed with the quality of the rides and attractions and overall beauty of the park. Plus it was very clean! After living in Florida for several years, we had a lot of parks to compare Dollywood against. We were way off in our thinking it would be a second class park. Dollywood has some of the best shows we have ever seen in a park and the roller coasters are top shelf all the way. The Lightning Rod is an amazing wooden roller coaster that is incredibly fast but still smooth like a steel coaster. The food was so much better than most theme park food. We highly recommend the cinnamon bread they bake fresh right on property. It is just amazing. The layout of the park is quite easy to follow, and there is something new around every corner. Make sure and check out the coal fired steam train for a real taste of history. We can't wait to go back for all the different seasons. Especially the Christmas holiday celebration. We hear it is amazing. If you are a Dolly Parton fan this is the place to go. From the Dolly museum to the Dolly Emporium. Do yourself a favor and visit soon.

Alot of fun! Tickets are pretty high. Buy your tickets o line before you go or you ru the risk of them selling out plus it's a faster check in. The roller coasters were great, and the Christmas lights were beautiful! The food options are great..over priced but it's a theme park so it comes with the territory. They did have alot of activities inside for everyone that we had no idea about. They have a gem find, and a forge to help make your own knife, as well as a few others. We had a great time.

You could tell it's a little short staffed. Probably like the rest of the world at the moment. Definitely think about staying at Dreammore so that you can take the tram in. That alone is almost worth the price of the hotel. We saved a lot of time not waiting in car lines. The food was okay. More Vegan options would be appreciated. The lines weren't bad for the younger kid stuff or shows. No idea what the other wait times felt like. We had fun and can say we did it.

Dollywood is beautiful. All the stores are wonderful but several of them were closed due to staffing after covid. The glass blower is amazing to watch and the glass gift shop is my favorite. There are alot of great food choices. It was very busy and the rides had a wait time of 2 hours. The tram from parking lot C took 25 minutes. You could walk to the front but its a 10 minute walk. I suggest to get to the park early.

If not a season pass holder, get here before opening. We needed a scooter rental and wanted my parents to be able to hit Christmas shows and get out before they got to cold. On top of tickets, parking is $25 (way overpriced if you ask me). Once you enter, make dinner reservations immediately for later especially at a sit down to get out of the cold. They fill up and wait time gets extremely long if you don't reserve. We needed hot hot water to warm breast milk.and The Front Cafe was the friendliest and most accommodating!

Great place if you like Dolly! We loved the Eagles and rescue birds that they had there, it was cool to get a photo with the Eagle! The fall pumpkins was a neat thing to see especially lit up at night. Decent rides. Nice shuttle service for the parking lot. Thought 84/person plus 20 for parking was a bit on the expensive side.
Magical day in the park! Our family of 7 made memories we’ll cherish forever! We have gone to Dollywood many time over the years but never for Christmas. At the end of night when Santa made his appearance I saw Christmas magic light up in my kids eyes!. some of our kids were able to ride “big” roller coasters for the first time, to the amazing indoor play area the little ones went nuts over! The entertainment was top notch and food was good with a decent selection of variety and fair pricing in the park. Staff was very friendly and accommodating!
Had a large group (20 folks). Despite the crowds we had a great time. Rode the train. Loved the Christmas lights. Enjoyed Dollywood's spiritual side. And the staff was friendly. Restrooms were clean. BUT...Dollywood needs to put some emphasis on food service. Waits to eat at restaurants exceeded two hours. ???? The hamburger place was quicker (about an hour) but one of the four soft drink machines was broken and another was out of ice. Wait for soft drink fills was a half hour or more. An additional disappointment was the broken milk shake machines. ???? And the charge for a water bottle was three bucks. Although the staff was working hard, calling numbers rather than posting them on screens is quite antiquated. Considering the cost of admission and the prohibition of outside food, guests should not be spending so much time trying to purchase meals.
Dollywood was absolutely amazing! Good old fashion rustic Tennessee Fun! The park is Spotless! Delicious food and artisan candy shops. Thrilling rides! The Lightening Rod coaster was incredible! So was the Wild Eagle. The park is filled with fun music & live entertainment. There are plenty of rides, a chapel, a wildlife sanctuary, eateries, benches to rest and restrooms. The best part of the park was Dolly's personal archives musuem Chasing Rainbows. Her famous clothes, photos, awards are all there. It's fascinating. She's a remarkable star & lives up to her nickname "America's Sweetheart"

Get the cinnamon bread!!! Go left at the beginning, it's a up hill challenge, hit the roller coasters and then enjoy walking down the hill to the exit when you are more tired. Youngs kids go right to kiddie land but going left forces you to push a stroller up the hill.

Had a wonderful day at Dollywood. Park hours were 11 am to 9 pm. We arrived at 10:00, because we had heard they let you in early to hit stores and shop; all true. We were able to get in line for the ride we wanted to hit first (Lightning Rod: SO FUN) and by 7, the park had emptied quite a bit. We did most of the major rides with very little wait (most rides were 15-20 min wait, a couple were 45 minutes). Some were closed because of the rain. The food was fantastic and we will forever make a stop at the cinnamon bread shop - the best monkey bread we've ever had. We couldn't make reservations like you can at Disney but we put our name in and they sent us a text when our table was ready at the full service restaurant we chose. I liked that all the stores had different things to look at and it wasn't all Dollywood merchandise. The ambiance was amazing, the people were so friendly... all in all, the magic of Dollywood rivaled Disney PLUS we weren't forced to wear masks.

Dollywood is always fun. But this year there were a few things I didn't like. Dollys old house is not up on the mountain like before when you take the train ride. They only talk about the two turkeys and the coal will be all in your face so wear glasses. Do not go in July unless you want to wait 70 minutes or more on the big Rollercoasters. This was our wait time and so it wasn't as fun because line's are so long you can't ride much. Food is high as always. My favorite part is all the bluegrass gospel throughout the park. I always love that and it really feels like the Tennessee I know and love.

A very lovely amusement park in the Smokey’s. Went on two of the busiest days of the year (Black Friday/Saturday) and the park was at capacity. Despite this I didn’t find wait times outrageous. We didn’t wait for more than an hour for anything, which I find the typical max I am willing to wait for rides and shows at parks. The holiday lights were beautiful and a great treat to get us in the spirit of the season. Going with a big time Dolly fan, Chasing Rainbows is a highlight and has had huge additions and upgrade since the early 2000s. Giant Eagle is a great new ride -so smooth. Prices for merchandise and food (and entry too) are incredibly reasonable compared to another famous park that also has initials “DW.” Plenty to do and see despite their covid staffing challenges. Having been a regular to the aforementioned Disney parks you cannot go in expecting the same experience (especially when it comes to efficiency of ride loading/lines in general) but you will have a great time nonetheless. Will be back some summer to check out the water park and stay in the resort on property!

Dollywood wasn't what we expected at all. It's more shopping than entertainment and everything is overpriced. There were some shows and a few rides so it was a nice way to kill a few hours. Don't wait until you're hungry to find a place to eat. Every restaurant had a 90 minute wait list so make sure you're on that list early! We bought tickets to the SkyFly and loved it.

I went with my boyfriend to celebrate my birthday in October. A lot of attractions were closed and it was difficult to find food. It would be better for young children considering there was not much to do but very expensive prices.
We found Dollywood to not be a positive experience. I have a disability and the park isn't handicap friendly. The temperature was around 35°, so it was cold and there were very few places to go to warm up, no heaters placed anywhere so you could stand under them and heat up. The lights and decorations were beautiful but almost any light show would have been just as beautiful. We left after only a couple hours, not worth they money. I would not recommend going to Dollywood unless you don't have a handicap, its warm outside, and you have kids.

This theme park went above and beyond to accommodate anyone with a special need. It has some of the most amazing rides and shows. If you are able come during the Christmas season to see the lights they breath taking. We will definitely be returning.
Nice place just feel a little overpriced for what it is. Walkways are not the greatest for mobility scooter. Some places are even marked No entry for mobile scooters due to extreme pitch of road. So not the best place for handicapped but still a nice place. My kids liked the rides. One thing I must say is the cinnamon bread here is awesome, we all loved that.
Absolutely beautiful, wonderful experience, great for all ages I don't care if you're only one year or eighty years old, I'm 60 and had a blast and the food was awesome.

I guess everyone in Tennessee decided to go to Dollywood for Fall Break. The trip was completely disappointing. We had more fun on the strip around the city. When we arrived parking was horrible, as we entered it did not seem too crowded, however the park was extremely crowded. There were many rides shut down, long lines for the overly priced food, and lack of staff. We left after a few hours, which was spent in the food line. The kids only rode one ride due to the long lines. A waste of money and time. Dollywood should consider lowering the price of admission for a partially functional theme park. A TOTAL WASTE!

Dollywood is truly magical. Our family of five adults had a full day of eating amazing food, riding thrilling rollercoasters and being surrounded by pure beauty. We went the third week of September and the lines were about 15-20 minutes. The mountains are breathtakingly beautiful and there is plenty to do for anyone at any age. I LOVE YOU DOLLY!

Dollywood is definitely a "must stop". We went on a Friday and not overcrowded at all. The scenery and shops are very homey and welcoming. There's so much to do and see without even having to get on a ride.

Parking was easy and we did not have to wait long for the tram to take us to the park, or back to our car when we were finished. There were elevators for each attraction so that the handicapped guests were able to access rides. The rides were awesome! The lightening rod ride was down, and that was a bummer (because I came all the way from Geogia to ride it!) But, the food was really great and the staff were friendly and helpful. This is a great park. I highly recommend it! I would love to come back one day!!!
We visited Dollywood during their Christmas event and we had an absolute blast, plenty of rides, food and shows to enjoy. And oh yeah the lights, lots and lots of christmas lights and decorations to see during the event.
I really didn't have an idea of this place, I was trying to get to the smokies when I saw this area. It felt like Kissimmee, FL and that area by 192 . or a that area around Universal studios Orlando fl. We stopped to have something to eat, but didn't go to another place due to the pandemic, lots of people around even during the week. I went to Tennessee looking for Nature so I wasn't into any theme parks at all. But if you are looking for this then is great. Thats why I gave 4 stars.
An honest review from a plus sized girl who loves to ride rides: Dollywood, though I love it so, is not fat friendly as far as rides are concerned. If you’re looking for somewhere to go where you can ride every ride and especially the thrill rides, and you are over a certain size, I don’t recommend. I wear a size 24 in jeans and shirts. I have a larger chest. Any ride that had test seats, I tried, and I didn’t fit. Some I almost fit, but almost doesn’t count! I rode rides with my young children. I was able to ride: Blazing Fury Village Carousel Demolition Derby Great Tree Swing Rockin Roadway Treetop Tower There may have been other rides I could’ve ridden, but they were closed or I didn’t try. Water rides were closed and I know I can ride those. I definitely couldn’t ride: Barnstormer Mystery Mine Wild Eagle Lightning Rod Drop Line The Waltzing Swinger Although disappointing, this wasn’t anything I didn’t expect and it didn’t hamper my enjoyment of Dollywood, hence my five star review! You can’t beat the atmosphere of Dollywood. Everyone is so kind, the food is delicious, the shows are great. I would return again and again! Also, my 9 and 11 year old children had an absolute blast. We’ll be back!

Buying tickets in advance serves literally no purpose because you still have to wait in line with the folks buying tickets at the gate. Dollywood offers a military discount to active duty and veterans which is great. The lines for the rides were extremely long. Up to 2 hours for some. That seems crazy to me because the park didn’t seem that busy. I would recommend going a little later in the day. We went when the park opened and most of the foods stands were closed for the first few hours the park was open. The park is better suited for families rather than adults. It was nice to experience, but most likely will not be going back. The lines are not worth waiting in for the type of rides they have. I would rather spend my time at a park with bigger and scarier rides. Like I said though it is a great place for kids.
One of the best experiences ever. The staff was exceptional and I've never seen a cleaner park. The Christmas decorations and lights are gorgeous and so well done.
While the rides are similar to those you will find at any theme park, the service and atmosphere exceed the competition. For thise with food allergies, they take all the precautions necessary and we felt safe eating here (even though there were long lines to wait, the staff was great!)

I decided to step away from work for a long drive from Mason City, IA and drove 2 days to Knoxville,TN. I have wanted to visit Dollywood for years as I have never seen the Great Smokey Mountains. Dollywood was fun and just the relief I was in search of post Covid 19. There are a lot of interesting things to look at and I loved the small chapel, enjoying some live music at the back porch theater, and even taking a ride on the daredevil falls. The steam engine and the street of colorful umbrella are sights not to be missed. I was having car problems and had only 4 hours to spend after the garage before Dollywood closed for the day. I have no complaints. It was worth the drive. I sang This little light of mine along with the cheerful band and breathed a sigh of relief for the positive atmosphere. I was traveling alone, but would have enjoyed it more if I had children along as some areas are made just for young ones. I wish I could have caught a show. And... I hope I still have my job when I get back home. ????
I love Dollywood! It is a very clean, wholesome, family friendly park. I don’t like rides but there is plenty to see and do. We spent 5 hours at the park.
It was not that bad of a crowd since it is mid December. Music was great and beautiful. The lights are so delightful (no pun intended).

I’d been meaning to leave this review. I went to Dollywood on New Year’s Eve and I genuinely enjoyed my experience. I wasn’t sure what to expect but I was very happy with how my day went. As a rollercoaster enthusiast I have to save there are plenty of them and a lot of them are of great quality. The wait times are too crazy compared to other kinds of theme parks, the lines move fairly quickly, the only thing is that there isn’t anyone standing to direct you which lines to go in and it makes things a bit chaotic. Since I went during the holidays the lights were so pretty and magical, just about every corner is covered and decorated and it’s so pretty. There’s also plenty to do for kids and something I loved was how many food locations and restaurants there are. I ate at the diner as well as granny’s and both were very delicious, especially granny’s which offers a lot of food for a really decent price!! I would absolutely recommend this to others and I’d love to go again sometime.
Had a great time was very clean and everyone was very nice can't wait to come back. The Christmas lights were beautiful.

Dollywood is always amazing, but going during Christmas was just an amazing experience. They go absolutely all out and it is absolutely gorgeous. All of the coasters are great, but Lightning Rod has to be my favorite. Getting launched uphill?! Sign me up! Food is a bit pricey like any park, but the souvenirs are pretty decently priced and the staff is very friendly. Best place in the South to take your whole family, no matter what age. Dolly is wonderful as is, and her park definitely expresses that.

What a Great Christmas Experience. The Lightning Rod Roller coaster is Fantastic. Most Roller Coasters take you up the first big rise slowly then you start the ride. This thing launches to up at over 70 MPH then drops you over the other side and it keeps going. The Christmas Lights are amazing. Definitely an ineffable experience.

More than just an amusement park, you get a big dose of true southern hospitality. Be prepared to spend major $$$ inside the park. Food and drinks are way overpriced but getting a Gold pass gives you free parking and a 15% discount on food, merchandise purchases and a few other perks. Diamond pass gets free parking, 20% discount, other perks and Splash Country (seperate park) admission. Food varies on cost and quality. Avoid the Dogs & Taters stand and especially avoid the corn dogs (very poor and disgusting). There is a pizza place (also sub par quality) that also stands out as a "must skip" eatery. I can only recommend the BBQ and the grilled sausage, peppers & onions eateries as they seem to be consistent quality food and actually taste like what you would expect. Eating and drinks anywhere in the park will be pricey. I know the goal of any business is to make a profit but hitting a family of 4 with $52 (before tax) for 4 burgers, 4 fries, 4 canned drinks and 4 cookies is almost unforgivable. Especially from Dolly Parton who knows hard times from growing up poor. You will have fun here until you need food or a drink and have to pay the over-inflated prices. Eat before you come and after you leave if possible to save some cash. Park is clean and we'll kept. Be prepared for rides to be down (happens quite often for coasters) when you visit. Also offered, is a ride Speed Pass that allows you to skip the long ride lines but at $48/person It is just another scheme to separate your hard earned money from your wallets. Overall I do recommend visiting at least once but hope this review prepares you for what sticker shock you can expect once inside the park.

My two children and I experienced Dollywood for the first time this past weekend and it was an awesome time. The tram was efficient and timely and a huge help for me. The LuminLights and Harvest festival was being put on so some places and rides closed early but that was okay bc that is primarily why I was attending. There was only a handful of rides my small ones could ride on and the piggy was closed. We ended up finding Wildwood a little later and found more to do but time was running out by then bc the park was closing. We will definitely be back to experience more of the rides and train but the LuminLights were magical and I loved being there. We paid $115 for my ticket and parking. My two kids ages 1 and 2 were free. I didn't see much staff on-site to ask questions to so that would have been helpful. The park was clean and well kept. I would 100% recommend going!

The park was only open from 2-9pm. There were only a few places to grab a bite to eat. The lines were long to get into the park, security, tickets, and food. Many of the rides were closed and the shows were all the similar. For the $85.00 admission fee, you really didn't get much. I'm a huge Dolly fan, and the Christmas lights were spectacular, but the park was nothing to write home about.

We went for 2 days. Rented a scooter and definitely worth the money. Alot of walking. The park itself is BEAUTIFUL, CLEAN AND INVITING. It has grown in size. I really enjoyed the quiet areas. The rocking chairs. Beautiful flower displays all throughout the park at the end of May. The 600 umbrellas displayed as a canopy are Stunning!!! The Coat of Many Colors Plant Topiary was GORGEOUS! The food was good. Rides were fun even for us older folks. Enjoyed the music. We will be back.
This was our first time visiting Dollywood, and it was such an incredible experience. We purchased two-day passes, which was a reasonable amount of time to do everything we wanted to do. The park was clean, and the staff was friendly. The freshly made cinnamon bread was a top-eating highlight! There is an excellent selection of rides for people of all ages, and the shows were very entertaining. I highly recommend checking out Dollywood!
It was okay. The parking and tram loading was a bit slow all the way around. It was honestly faster to walk from the parking lot we were in, which was C, than wait in line for the tram. We walked on our second day. The tram driver was on par with about seventy percent of the rest of the park staff; Luke warm. The park is fairly clean, and the food is outrageously priced. I mean, your paying Disneyland prices without Disneyland pizaz or efficiency. Rides are pretty fun. It’s decent.

Dollywood was okay. It wasn't great or close to fantastic. My husband and I are theme park fanatics and we like to travel, so Dollywood was one of the places on our list, that we hadn't been to. The main theme of course was country music, and they supplied a lot of that, everywhere you looked. They had a lot of entertainment from local artists and "pickers". The roller coasters were old and tired. They were painful to ride because of the age, and they didn't have that thrill factor anymore. Most of the parks food stalls were closed and the ones that were open, we're sold out of most of everything. The ticket prices I felt like we're extremely high for the amenities offered. At almost $100 a ticket, I would have expected the park to have been kept up to a higher standard. The entire park was decorated for a harvest festival and I do have to say that the thousands of pumpkins that were on display were beautiful and were displayed in many fun and interesting ways. There were lots of areas for photo shoots. All in all, we had a good time but I would not suggest going unless you were wanting to do a lot of shopping and love listening to a lot of bluegrass.
I can not rave enough, absolutely amazing! Their Christmas lights are the most gorgeous thing that I've ever seen! I felt like a kid again. So many lights and they are all so different and breath taking. We didn't even ride anything but can't wait to this spring. We bought season passes for our kids this Christmas and are so glad that we did because we plan to enjoy them and take advantage of all that they have to offer. I highly recommend this for your family as well. Love it, love it, love it!!!

After having come from Disney world and universal studios and sea world I must say this place was such a nice relief. The lines were so reasonable in comparison. Weather was cooperative unlike Orlando. We weren’t going to stop by initially but I’m so glad we did. It reminds me of the parks we visited as kids in the 60’s.
Had a great time at Dollywood. Celebrated my birthday here and Dolly takes care of birthday's with free food. Got that beautiful birthday cupcake, popcorn and a milkshake. Go early and start at the back to skip some of the time waiting in line.

Great family destination. We traveled all the way from NJ. The gift shop is awesome but I wish they had a bigger variety of Christmas ornaments. The Dolly Christmas store wasn't open. The entrance fee was pretty expensive. We were 3 people, 1 adult 2 kids and it was just under $300 for a one day pass.
Although it was super busy and probably has staffing shortages like everyone else, we had a great time! A wonderful variety of rides and the shows showcased excellent talent.
Plenty to do and yummy food!! They have many different shows from musical performances to an educational bird show! My boyfriend and I caught the tail end of one of the bird shows and got to see a beautiful eagle! The bakery located right inside the entrance is also fantastic! I included a pic of the chocolate chip cookie sandwich I got but it doesn't do it justice, that thing was incredibly massive and delicious! The rollercoasters at the park are a blast with decently short wait times. Even if a ride said 55 minutes it didn't take that long. The only Con that I have is that the one we really wanted to ride (Lightning Rod) was closed down and it didn't state that anywhere on the Dollywood website. This park is a great place to visit even if you aren't the biggest country fan!
We loved our first trip to Dollywood. They have great coasters. My favorites were the Wild Eagle and the Lightning Rod. The park is well maintained but the lack of hand sanitizer at each ride was frustrating. Each time I would go to use one it was empty, this happened about a half a dozen times. The water rides were fun and I loved the dragon-flier as well. My husband is a Vet and we got discounted tickets. They give 30% off for military and their family. They have a church service on Sunday the park was not crowded so we were able to go on all the rides we wanted but didn’t have time for any shows. The hours are short at this time of the year and there was no drone show which was a bummer. 10am-6pm. I recommend downloading the app. It gives you ride wait times which were very accurate. The bread is a must if you like cinnamon. It is warm, gooey, and delicious. Some shops and food stands were not open but that was to be expected with so few people in the park. We arrived an hour early which was a good amount of time. They let us in the park early but the rides started at 10 am.
Wait time
We got in right as the park opened and went on a few rides with no wait. There were a few shut down for part of the day because it was misty and they got to wet to run properly. Everyone had a good time, and there is way more than you can do in one trip. The Christmas lights are amazing. Absolutely purchase your tickets and parking in advance. It sells out regularly and there were some disappointed people in front of us when we went to park.

Food was great...even had heated areas incase you were cold. Kid friendly...Great food...Friendly staff...I can go on and on ....The museum was very interesting and educational. I really look forward to visiting this place again...perhaps for Christmas...And don't let me get started on how beautiful the decorations are...I was in awe of everything...Didn't get any sweet bread...that's what everyone was talking about but perhaps the next time...To sum it up...Awesome...Awesome...Awesome

What an incredible park! Outstanding performances by the park's talented stage crews. Dreamland Drive-in was a divine timescape of our nation's evolution of rock n rock from the 1950s to the 1970s. So well done! The roller coasters are designed for thrills AND visual appeal. The scene designs are colorful and explosive....truly! The weather seemed to deter patrons, but provided us with quick entry to all the rides and cooler temperatures. We had to wait for about 32 minutes to get food at Till&Harvest, but that was due to the lack of staffing from the area's labor force. (Plenty of jobs available, people). The evening show was incredible. The 3d drone light show was a wonderful way to end the day. Thank you to all involved in creating this magical place.

This was a wonderful experience, I love all the beautiful and unique crafts. The first day of the Christmas season and Dollywood did not disappoint. When darkness came the place was so magical with all the lights. Although, the lights of were my favorite, I do have to mention the rides were very fun and the food was pretty good for a theme park. There is something here for all ages , especially the Twas the night before Xmas show and the Dolly Parton musuem. This is a must if you are in the area! Recommendation- Get there early, long wait on trams to and from parking.
We had so much fun! Parking was a little confusing but after we figured that out everything went great. There was little lines and all the employees were very kind and helpful. We did almost everything in only around 4 hours. My favorite was the Lightning Rod coaster! This was fun as adults, but I'm not sure as a kid. Most rides seem to have pretty tall height requirements. Overall it was absolutely worth it and would even call it better than Michigan's Adventure!

Traveled from Oregon to Nashville for a conference, and was excited to take a special day trip out to the Great Smokeys with my partner (both in our late twenties). Decided to get an hotel for the night to check out Dollywood the following day, but had no idea what we were in for or whether it would be worth the cost… and it truly blew us both away!! (truly we feel ashamed to have doubted Dolly!!) if you are on the fence, definitely go!! Great rides, but better memories!

We love Dollywood especially during Christmas season. The lights and Christmas music just puts you in the spirit. The rides and shows are awesome, and the food and candies are delicious. One thing I worry about is that Dollywood has been taken over by a corporation and that profit before people will affect the southern warmth that attracts so many folks. The cost of admission is more than Six Flags. Please maintain the spirit of compassion and southern hospitality that Dolly instilled here.
Beautiful and clean park, even in the July heat. My daughter has autism, and we loved that they offer accommodations and even a calming room. We had a large group of 18, and took advantage of the group discount rate. The summer celebration drone show is not to be missed! Nor is the cinnamon bread. It’s delicious and the line moves quick.

So! Our trip to Dollywood was spectacular???? We arrived Monday evening, explored Gatlingburg Tuesday (because DOLLYWOOD is closed on Tuesdays), and got up Wednesday to head to Dollywood!:) The park opens at 10am-9pm. We got there around 10:15. We ordered “preferred parking” online for about $35 bucks this parking gets your right at the Entrance into the park. Make sure you have your tickets ready and they do search you. Then your off to an adventure! During October they have the Lumilghts that start at Sunset and go till 9pm. We rode rides all day long , and waited to see the lights at night. This was the icing on the cake, the decor, smells of pumpkin and candy apples and popcorn; overhearing the live bluegrass music it was a total fall vibe & i LOVED it! The big rides are the Tennesse Tornado, FireChaser, Wild Eagle, Mystery Mine..some of the rides where either closed down or not operating that day. There is another side of the park the Wildwood grove and has lots of rides for kids, and a one thriller the “Dragonflier”& concessions, also the “county fair” is literally like a fairground with those types of rides and fair food. It’s one stop shop everything you need at Dollywood!! For every age group. Tips Download Dollywood App it sees your location and you can type in wherever you want to go, it’s a perfect map and guide to wait times for rides etc Timesavers are cool and all but if you wait till about 3 or 4 there’s not long wait times. For food grab a flatbread at Victoria’s Pizza before you go onto the train.. let your food digest and enjoy the train ride around Dollywood! the times for the train are on the app and they post the hours outside the ride.

We were big fans before our visit and now we are in love with everything Dolly! The park was very clean and well kept. Everyone was so friendly from the staff to the guest, just a great positive vibe that is much needed in our world today! And the cinnamon bread was....omg!! Trust me, it is worth the line to get it! We left with inspiration as well as great family memories.
Definitely family fun. The roller coasters made it worth the trip and admission to get in. Getting into the park was obnoxious- prepare to have rude people ride the left lane and then jump in front of you if you leave a gap open- their time must be worth more than everyone else’s. It was HOT- I highly recommend bringing some sort of fan with you - especially for the lines. Unfortunately we didn’t get to eat here because every food line was so long- and each restaurant was a 3 hour wait (anywhere between 11-3!) I paid for a souvenirs cup to refill and finding a place to get a quick refill was IMPOSSIBLE!! I would suggest Dollywood have a line JUST FOR REFILLS! and if you’re looking for a beer or cocktail- let me know where you found it- because that was one thing we never saw. The train ride was fun but they could definitely run it more often- lots of sitting and waiting for it to finally depart. Use the App- it will help you determine the wait for each ride.

Awesome place! Great for the whole family and the staff are energetic and friendly. This place has a nice southern and western theme which makes it unique. Lots of rides, carnival games, souvenirs and food venues throughout. Lots of parking at a fee. Recommended!
It's Disney World in the mountains. Always a great time for our family. Rides for all ages, shows, singing, food... We love it all. Expensive, of course it is. If you want the unlimited ride fast pass you need to get here 30 to 40 minutes before the park open so you can purchase it.
Went with a group of 10 from ages 10 to 51 years old. A place where anybody can have a good time and have something to do! When we went in September, adult prices were $84-- not quite as expensive as Disneyland, but still substantial. Parking lot had a convenient tram to get to the front of the park which was cool. If you want to actually plan out your Dollywood adventure, I'd recommend hitting 2-3 rides between the various shows that play throughout the park, so that you can get a break from all the standing and walking around. There is no shortage of food and candy to keep everyone buzzing throughout the day, though they do no t serve any alcohol. Overall, a place to visit and come back again!

What a fun, friendly, beautiful place to go! This was my first visit, and everything I had heard was true! I had not walked 100 feet and the nicest guy stopped and asked if he could help me find anything! Then another 100 feet and someone else stopped and asked me if there was anything I needed!! Of course I had sprained my angle the day before and I was a little slow, but I was amazed at how friendly the staff was. The bluegrass was really quite good, and being a musician myself, I found my foot tapping and my head nodding to the rhythm. I plan to go back and visit more of the park once my ankle heals! I suggest getting there by 9AM, even though the park opens at 10AM. If you intend to buy a season pass, have one member in your party upgrade to a golden pass in order to save on parking, and discounts on food. Speaking of food... since my ankle was reminding me that I should be sitting and my time would be limited, I headed straight to the thing I had heard the most about. The cinnamon bread at the grist mill!!! I believe God sent me there! That was the best thing I have ever eaten and I forgot all about my leg!! Can't wait to go back! I heard it is beautiful at Christmas!
Had a wonderful time....loved dollywood. TN is the best! The Christmas decorations are wonderful and a must see..... the best was the butterfly tree and the Christmas tree show. We will visit often just to be around the great atmosphere.... fire work show was awesome
Very nice. I liked the themed sections. The park, retail, and restaurant staff were all friendly and knowledgeable about the park and where things were. Even if not riding rides, you might need 2 days. I wish I had purchased 2 days. Surprisingly, there still some places closed though. Downside, not related to Dollywood itself....don't go in the extreme heat of summer unless you love the heat. I'm going to visit again but looking to come back this October or next. The October festivities look great!

Hands down, best theme park experience I've ever had. There was way more to do than we expected, so much so that I'm unsure if we were able to see it all. The staff members were all friendly and seemed as if they genuinely enjoy being there. We went on a Wednesday and walked onto most rides with no wait. The Christmas lights and show were gorgeous and worth every bit. Lots of shows going on so maybe plan ahead what you would like to see. I definitely recommend a two day trip if possible in order to see it all. The coasters were great, perfect for thrill seekers! It was 72° and kinda rainy, so the lines were short. All the Christmas lights were amazing ! The fireworks for New Years were great. Everybody was friendly.
Dollywood has so much fun stuff to offer the family! If your not big on thrill seeking rides there are lots of shows and shops you can enjoy as a family too! There is literally something for everyone! And the Summer night show was spectacular with fireworks and the drone show!!
All the team members are friendly and well informed. They’re helpful and attentive if you have any questions. The park is clean and easy to navigate. There’s all kinds of rides for different age groups. The quick service snacks are some of the best I’ve had at theme parks. My only complaint, which made things difficult for our family to eat in the park, is there aren’t a lot of full service meal options for vegetarian/vegan guests.
We went on a Friday in late October. The staff were amazing and helpful with directions and asked if we needed anything. The weather was perfect and the longest wait time for a coaster was one hour. The food was reasonably priced and way better than other large theme parks. $50 for a burger & fries, 5 chicken strips & fries, a salad and 2 drinks. The reusable cup was a good deal-$15 and free refills the first day you buy. I brought my own water bottle and refilled it at the water fountains with the bottle refill on the top. The autumn decorations were beautiful and the light up pumpkins were awesome!

Wow! Where to begin describing the awesome surprises to be had at Dollywood during Christmas. The lights were everywhere, and anywhere...the park is meticulous...the staff were friendly always and everywhere. The ride times were super easy, most wait times 15 minutes or less. Plenty of places in the park to warm up on a cold winter's day and just three days before Christmas to boot ????. Strongly recommend the steam train ride at nighttime to see it steam roll up the mountain! Treat your family ???? to an unforgettable holiday experience. See you soon, Dolly ????

We love Dollywood! It is so pricy considering we have been coming here since my husband and I were both young. The admission and parking just keep rising, but our children love it! Great family fun.

Dollywood is an amazing place to visit! It’s an amazing place for kids, many rides for them. They also have some of the most awesome roller coasters! Very thrilling and fun. If you don’t like to ride rides there’s many great shows to watch, lights to see, and shops placed around the attraction, and great food. Overall dollywood is an amazing place to visit I highly recommend!

My family and I had a great time at Dollywood. The park has something for everyone. Fun shows, music and Christmas lights. Parking was easy with a shuttle ride to the gate. I absolutely recommend.
First time visit... memorial day weekend post COVID vaccine....had no expectations...review Masks not required if vaccinated. Most people didn't wear masks. No social distancing was seen. No cleaning during rides. Rides didn't have much in terms of lines. We are used to 30+ min waits at 6 flags. Lots of restrooms, food and ice cream at each area. Very clean and helpful staff. Rides ranged from advanced to tiny tots.... not touch variety as bigger parks. Went around the park twice in 4 hours stopping for food and Rides. Parking was $20 for general, day admission was $80 plus lots of taxes. The ambiance and decor was excellent. More trill Rides would get this 5 stars.

Great day at Dollywood, lots of rides, shows, shops and well taken care of park. Many of the food areas were closed due to lack of help so the few food places that were open had lines a mile long around lunch time. Lines went way down after about 3-4pm. Lines for rides were usually a minimum of 45 minutes. The Dolly museum is a must see if you're a Dolly fan, located at the Chasing Rainbows Museum, lots to see in there. Plan on being at Dollywood the better part of a day if you want to see everything and ride the rides. Terrific amusement park!
Very Disappointed in Dollywood. Unable to use Season Passes. When purchased they state unlimited access but this is not the case. They put new unpaid business ahead of paid business allowing you to purchase day passes but cannot use Season passes. They justify this by saying not everyone can afford season passes. What does this have to do with capacity limits? If the park is at capacity it is at capacity. Season passholders should not be punished ahead of others. They do not mention reservations when purchasing season passes. They do not mention this on any of their commercials. You only know this if you stalk their website and why would you do this if you already have season passes. I have paid for passes that are useless and cannot be used prior to them expiring. I have been a loyal customer but I will not recommend Dollywood any longer.

Dollywood is amazing. So much to see. Theirs lights everywhere this time of year and beautiful doesn't even begin to describe them. You gotta go experience this tourist attraction and theme park!!!
Dollywood is great! One of our favorite things was the Chasing Rainbows museum where you can see some of her stage clothes and memorabilia. We also enjoyed the live music everywhere like the Wild Roots Band and the Smoky Mountain String Band. Another favorite memory was the Dollywood Express, a real steam and coal locomotive. Something that was a surprise fun activity was the wild bird show. A red tailed falcon flew right in our row! Great family fun for everyone. Try going in October when the weather is cooler and they have the pumpkin displays. We would highly recommend this place!

Dollywood at Christmas was absolutely breathtaking! Everyone was so nice. My first time and I kept getting lost! Lol I went on a Wednesday and it was open 2-9. I must say I was not there to ride any of the amazing roller coasters but to see as many shows as possible. I suggest you make a list and study the park map. I was able to enjoy 6 shows! The shows were filled with wonderful Christmas songs and stories and the carolers at the chapel sounded like angels. The Appalachian singers were so much fun. If you haven't been there are a few hills to conquer! You must get the delicious fresh cinnamon bread made at the old grist mill. the line gets VERY long. I headed that way about 3pm and waited 35 min and the line kept growing! But, it is so worth it. I promise you will love it. Dollywood was everything I hoped for! Enjoy and Merry Christmas!

Wasn't real happy about the price for parking of $25 just to park and just for two of us to get in it costed 188.60 to get in. We had to pay full price and the park was only open from 2-9. They only had food trucks for something to eat, and 3,25 just for a bottle of pop, however we didn't know at the time until we kept walking through the park, they did have a couple little places to eat. Also they wasn't really any place to get warmed up (we went December 9th 2021). Other than that we did have a good time. Sorry Dolly we still love you and everything about you but I feel your charging way to much for a day of fun. Doubt we'll ever go back
Dollywood wows for Christmas. It is now about the only theme park left that has real live musicians, singers, and dancers. The main Christmas show was Broadway quality with amazing sets and performers. Dollywood please never stop providing the best in live entertainment. If you eat nothing else while there, the cinnamon bread is a must.

We love Dolly but Dollywood allowed too many patrons into the park. Upon arrival there were no parking attendants to direct the vehicles. There were approximately 5 large parking lots. You basically have to drive around to find your spot. The trolly line was so long we walked to the entrance. We were able to ride 1 roller coaster which was great (Wild Eagle) After that the lines were 60 to 90 minutes long for the coasters. The train ride was nice but again, it's a long line. We decided to eat dinner here. The lines were crazy long. Finally, we gave up and decided to leave. Well, there were no visible exit signs leaving the parking areas. We went the wrong way and had to turn around. 3 adults at $85 and $24 for parking $274 to ride one coaster, the train, watch one performance and see Dolly's childhood house. Very disappointing.

Awesome place for the family! They have a small selection called wildwood Grove for the smaller kids to ride and still have fun! A bit expensive especially on stuff inside the park but worth the experience.
If you haven't been, your should go. It's beautiful- it's much more than rides, it's the best experience you can get from an amusement park(besides Disney). It's magical. Especially during Christmas time.
A great park with something for everyone. I visit as often as I can and really enjoy the seasonal holiday light displays. And definitely the cinnamon bread

Fun for everyone from the 3 year old to the 70 year old...we all had a great time and were able to ride plenty of rides. Lots of shady areas to cool off and a/c places to eat and shop in. Very handycap friendly and accomodating.
This was our first time here in a long while. Our family had this great opportunity to go together and visit Dollywood. We would love to go back. Our family loved it. So much to do. We were able to ride any ride we wanted to because of each of our heights. That was great. Rides, rides and more rides. There is also all the shows that are entertaining and all the craft areas going on.Fun fun fun. We truly had a great time. Enjoyed all of it. The Dollywood employees are very nice and helpful. We truly had a great experience. Can't wait to go back. Thank you Mrs. Dolly. Great place.

The family and I loved our outing here. This was my first time going was it was definitely an experience. The lines weren't to bad for most things depending on how you played it. My kids loved the more kid section where we rod the bears, dragon, and the birds. They loved it all. Also was really nice to walk around and soak up the experience. High five highly recommended!
We went on the first day of the Christmas celebrations and had an absolute blast! I have seen all the negative reviews claiming understaffing issues and a lot of venders/rides being closed and I must say that was not the case at all this weekend. The whole park was lit up beautifully. The rides were so much fun and there was rarely a long wait time the whole day we were there. The prices for food and souvenirs were reasonable and the staff for the most part were super friendly. We can’t wait to come back!
As a Florida Resident who has been to Universal, Disney, Bush Gardens, SeaWorld and Lego Land I must say that Dollywood was possibly the best theme park I've been to. From excellent food and shops to thrilling coasters to relaxing areas to cool down in this place has it all. I can't wait to go back. We did all the coasters and the cinnamon bread and ate at Aunt Granny's. Everything was excellent.
Had a great time on our first trip there. Wait times we're pretty short, food was good, and staff were all helpful, plus being a smaller park, the walking wasn't bad, and the trams were super easy to navigate and use.
Truly amazing! We visited during the Christmas festival and I have to say I was blown away with the decorations and the amount of lights thru out the park.Employees were nice and prices of food and merchandise was affordable. The only negative would be we were unable to make reservations for any of the full service restaurants and walk in times were quoted at 45 min.to 90 min.and this was as soon as we arrived when the park opened.
Dollywood is wonderful!! Love this place, love visiting, and I can't get enough Dolly. Dolly is what America should be all about. Side note---buy her perfume!!!
