Try avoiding them at all cost. Booked their ice fishing tour, late for 5 mins coz of checking out and they were gone. Even though they have your room number and phone number they don’t bother to call, not even once. Ruin our entire day. When I call to confirm she even accuses you being late for 5 mins, all they can do is full refund no make up plan then you are on your own. Really bad altitude and customer service. Please go to other tour company at all cost.

I did the dog sled tour with them, and I had an amazing experience. Cynthia was so good with the dogs, and you can tell that the kennel is well maintained, well kept and the dogs are happy. I got to learn how to drive the sled with cythnia's guidance, and it was a lot of fun. You also get to learn about each dogs personality and how they live, as well as a ton of pictures as keepsakes. They also have a cabin for some snacks, a 360° view skydeck for aurora viewing at night, and some teepees. Overall, I had an amazing time!

They treat and care for their customers like friends and we felt well cared for. We are glad that we have chosen them out of the many tour operators in Yellowknife. CK's knowledge of Yellowknife like a walking encyclopedia. He could tell you histories and stories of anything about Yellowknife. Verda's briefings in settings for camera and cell phones, so we could get good Northern lights photos are very beneficial as most of the tourists are first time visiting Yellowknife.

We had such a fantastic experience with Yellowknife Tours. We booked a Northern Lights Tour at the Aurora Viewing Station. Not only did the lights come out and were beautiful, but our guide was so nice and took some amazing photos of us which he shared with us. The Viewing Station itself is lovely and warm. They provide hot chocolate, tea, etc. and made us soup! Totally recommend this! We also booked a dog sledding tour. This was absolutely amazing! We got to help drive the sled. We were able to pet and hang out with the dogs who were obviously all so well loved and happy. One of the best experiences ever. Would definitely do this again!

The tour guides are also informative and friendly. I will give an extra credit to Tom (guide) for taking professional photos in -40C for 1.5 hrs.

We joined one night aboriginal cultural aurora viewing tour. It was an amazing place and experience we had. Excellent communication before departure and service during the tour. And took lots of fantastic picture for free. One of the best tour we join in Yellowknife. Definitely will come back again or suggest to all.

Yellowknife Tours provided excellent and caring services end to end. Before we booked the tour, they were very patient in answering our non-stop questions. After we booked the tour and during our holiday, they always put our interest first. The support we received was thoughtful and flexible. Verda the owner once offered to drive my wife to buy swimming suit for an upcoming activity. The guides and drivers Shan, Long, Kris and Robin were dedicated and polite. They also helped us to take good pictures at many memorable moments. Free of charge photo taking was unlimited so that we could focus on watching aurora dancing.

To the stand to see the aurora (but this should be a problem encountered by every aurora group, and it is difficult to control the quality of tourists) (Original) 我們參加了Yellowknife Tours兩晚的Aurora Viewing Tour at Aurora Station極光觀賞臺 雖然在Yellowknife市區以南的地方觀賞極光，但其中一天是我們待在Yellowknife兩個禮拜中，看到最多極光的其中一個晚上(當然看到極光還是有運氣的問題)，以定點看極光來說是相當不錯的體驗。 優點 -在Centre Square Mall有辦公室(在Tim Horton門進去後走到底)，可以現場詢問參加極光團的問題，並且現場報團，當天遇到的工作人員是親切的Yueni，會列印一張每天的接送時間 -沒有固定的接送點，可以在不同的地點接送上車，由於是凌晨回到住宿地點所以比較方便 -溝通部分英文跟中文都通用 -剛好兩天導遊也是Yueni，她會用心主動顧到每為遊客的狀況，像是我們沒有帶到相機，她會提醒我們現在是拍照好時間點，而大家在屋內等極光的時候，Yueni也會不時地到門外確認空中極光的狀況，並通知大家 -如果沒有自備相機，導遊Yueni會在外面準備好相機無壓力的拍照，並且照片是免費的(沒有分張數，也不會被印字樣)，且活動後不到一天會直接用e-mail的方式收到照片(記得要留e-mail給導遊就是了) -在外面太冷可以回到屋內取暖，在木屋裡面有小小的自助吧(麵包、果醬、奶油、餅乾、一點麵跟一點雞肉的熱湯，有提供熱水以及各式的茶包、熱可可粉)，木屋host Alexandra也很熱情的招呼我們，在寒冷的天氣當中真的很暖心 -屋內也有撥放極光如何形成的影片有教育性質 -木屋屋頂有室外的位子可以坐著觀看極光視野好 -木屋裡面有兩間自動沖水廁所，看極光不用憋尿相當方便 缺點 -晚上接送的時候，如果是先被接到的話，會需要等其他接送點的人上車，有時候其他接送點的遊客動作拖拖拉拉不守時，就會在車上等很久才會出發至看極光的看臺(但這應該是每個極光團都會遇到的問題，且難以掌控遊客的素質)

What a surprise, you even came to see us at Bullocks. Great company????and best fresh fish& chips we ever tasted with super delicious dressing. How nice and I feel so warm❤️ It’s very cloudy the week Jan 4-6 since the weather was relatively higher than previous years. The week before was -40, we didn’t get to see Aurora on the first Aurora hinting night. On the second night at Aboriginal Aurora village, still very cloudy. Luckily, Aurora light was strong 4.2 even though we could barely see it with our eyes. It’s already beautiful!! Thanks much to the guide he took really great photos for us for free???? This place is great. I booked a snow mobile, ice fishing and dog sledding tour a year ago. All were lots of fun and I would highly recommend them all. The snow mobile tour was easy and the guide did a great job making sure we're felt safe. I felt like a kid again. We didn't catch anything during the ice fishing but it was cool that they showed us the fish net under the ice and even brought out some tasty sashimi afterwards. Cynthia ran the dog sled tour and runs you through how to steer and brake. You even get a chance to drive the sled for yourself if you feel comfortable. I brought my girlfriend up this week for the aurora and dog sled tour again this year. She loved the dogs and they were super cute. We both had lots of fun.

Wonderful experience with Yellowknife Tours! The tour guides in the company are kind and helpful. Despite of the extreme weather in Yellowknife, they would try their best to call us out and take photos for all of us. They also explained clearly about each tourism spot in Yellowknife during the city tour. I really enjoy the dog sledding and snow mobiling a lot. The best travel service in Yellowknife. At a reasonable price, this agency takes care of you better than any other in YK. It is hard to join activities in YK if you are travelling alone or in small groups but Yellowknife Tours tried their best to accommodate us when we were there. They might not be the BIGGEST agency in town but they do offer the BEST customer service. P.S. They provide English, Mandarin and Cantonese service!

The Aurora bus tour was fantastic! Again, our guide was very knowledgeable and personable. She was terrific at taking Aurora pictures and could help you with your own camera, or if you are like us with old cameras, she takes a lots of pictures and sends them to you for free. We are a group of three people joining Yellowknife Tours in Sept 3-6, 2019, hoping to see Northern Lights in Yellowknife . The staff of Yellowknife tours, including YC, Verda, Chris, Shan Shan and Robin, are excellent in making an extra mile to make us feel uplifted and positive when the weather is not so co-operate. Especially, Verda, Chris, Shan Shan are extremely caring and helpful in assisting us to set up our cameras for Northern lights shooting , look out for the Aurora borealis and taking pictures for us as well. They are also very knowledgeable in Aurora borealis and Yellowknife history. While we are in different locations observing Aurora Borealis, there are food and warm drink provided especially the night in Aboriginal village, we enjoyed the fish and indigenous food. Verda is a dedicated staff who response to my questions promptly and take time to explain to me. During the 4 days three nights tour, we have two nights of seeing Aurora. in particular the 3 rd night, the Aurora are magnificent, they are all over the sky and in varies shapes and colours. This trip make our dream come true. we also receive pictures taken by staff of Yellowknife Tours and they take great shots of us and Aurora.
