The hotel is rundown and outdated. We lost power twice in our first room and the heat didn’t worked so they moved us to a second room. The heat also didn’t work in that room, and the power was lost again. They then asked us to move a third time to another room where the heat still didn’t work, but hey we had power this time. The WiFi also is extremely limited and you get about 20 minutes before the hotspot is exceeded and they won’t give you a new password. Not to mention in all three rooms we went in multiple things were broken in each room (light switches, hooks, etc.) Upon checking out I asked if there was anything they could do after all of our issues and they said free breakfast. I explained we were leaving so how would we get free breakfast and she said, it wasn’t their fault, they were maintenance issues, and that’s all they could do. I explained that I’ve never stayed at a hotel with this many issues without the front desk offering anything and she said, well I offered you breakfast. If I could give this place 0 stars I would. We are now staying at A Nice Hotel across the street, and it’s amazing. Ten thousand times better and the customer service is outstanding. Stay there instead.

Don’t let the outside fool you, it isn’t as great as it looks. The food in the diner isn’t horrible, but the service isn’t that great. The room wasn’t awful, but had a weird smell to it, and you can hear everything that goes on in the hallway. You hear every voice and footstep. The cable freezes and doesn’t work half the time, and you’re limited to 500 MB of WiFi for only 2 devices. All in all, considering the choices in Watson Lake, it wasn’t awful, but will not stay there again.

The staff is awesome and very accommodating! Convenient stop in the middle of nowhere, it’s definitely not a 5 star hotel, but they do a good job at making their customers happy. I would stay here again. The rooms were clean, I’m allergic to animals and considering they allow pets, I had no problems here. The convenience store and restaurant served their purpose, breakfast was great! Better than anything else we had in town, I highly recommend!

If you're looking for some place clean and warm with friendly service on the Alaskan highway, this is the place for you. The counter ladies were inviting, held the door for us as we drug our luggage in, and even gave my daughter some candies. We got a large room with two queen beds and was equipped with a Keurig! The TV worked great and my daughter enjoyed watching the many different channels of cartoons. It may seem a little expensive at $135+ tax, but it was the cheapest place on the block. We were happy to have some place to stay on our travels in the middle of November. I would definitely stay here again! If you're worried about frivolous things such as up to date furniture, don't stay here. And maybe don't travel the Alaskan highway. ???? You get what you get up here.

Cons: one gig limit on free wifi, food was much more expensive compared to competition down the road and food quality/taste/size was lacking Also this hotel charged people 500$ a night when there was a huge sports event as others were fully booked on regular price. This is fact not gossip as i read on news paper website. Very unethical. In future i would use other hotel/restaurant. My friends had warned me about this but i had booked the room in advance so decided to stay with it. Pro: Room were clean, comfortable and priced the same as others in local area
