Remarkably corteous service and meal quality! My family and me had a great time there. Ordered all sorts of salds and Italian dishes and went out certainly happier than before. Cosy atmosphere as well. As it is a sought after place to have lunch at, I would advise to best go there after 14:00 / 2 PM once the main wave of customers has finished their meals. It gets a lot quieter then and you can enjoy the (almost) full attention of the friendly waiters.

Came last night at 9:15, didn’t get spoken to until 930 and was abruptly told before anything that they close in half hour (obviously we know that) We knew what we wanted and ordered right away. Didn’t get our food until 9:50pm so clearly couldn’t finish in10 minutes. Server was very abrupt, kept making excuses for the delay. He rushed us when we did our drink order, made us feel weird for asking for both a coffee and a soft drink. He even made a joke to another table that he didn’t know anyone he worked with as of it was something to be proud of.. he came across very aggressive and I did not feel comfortable to ask even for some napkins..it felt like it would be inconvenient for him. I was so uncomfortable from first interaction we almost left to go somewhere else. Overall disappointed in Martins service. Love white spot but won’t be back to this location.

I've had the Nashville chicken twice now and it's been equally as disappointing both times. Batter coverage is uneven, edges are so overcooked they are sharp/tough, and they clearly don't toss the chicken in sauce like the photo on their website and menus clearly show. Mmmm just like they do it in Nashville... NOT!

It was very busy in the restaurant but we were seated right away and our server was there to take our order within minutes. Breakfast came quickly and was delicious although kind of stingy on the panfried potatoes. All in all a great experience

This White Spot at Park and Tilford is consistently a let down. Yet, for various reasons we continue to return. The food is often disappointing from being of unsatisfactory quality or the order is wrong. Every time we get takeout the order is blown somehow. Today's visit was ok. I ordered a chicken Caesar Wrap and I pulled the wrap apart to see there was barely any chicken. The fries were good. My son's chicken strips were good. His Caesar salad was ok The service was lovely. Our table and the restaurant were very clean so I appreciate that.

I stopped in here during covid for zoo sticks and a beer. Service was good have nothing bad to say. Going forward though after this covid I think restaurants and kitchen staff should keep the mask thing, anywhere that deals with food

Great service. Really wanted a steak at 2pm and normally they don't serve it until at least 3pm. Talked to the waitress and she checked with the kitchen staff and my steak was no problem. Lots of parking and close by the movie theater.

Friendly service and good COVID safety measures in place. We went at dinner time around 6:30pm and our server was very prompt getting our drinks and taking our order. Food came in reasonably timely and it was all hot and delicious. It was not too busy even though it was dinner time on a weekend.

The Triple O burgers these days are never really as good as the "idea of one." They seem to have lost some of their luster over the years. The big draw is the sauce, and yet, every time I crave a TO burger, I am disappointed by the lack of TO sauce. BUT the service here is really great. Nice gals and staff.

Food is not that good anymore. Pie crust was undercooked. Fries were good. Salmon burger, the salmon piece was tiny. They're very skimpy on portions when you're paying $17 for a burger platter, one would expect more. Ceasar salad was skimpy on dressing.

I love White Spot!! Always choose for White Spot when I feel like a good meal but I do not want to pay a lot. All four North Shore locations are great. The Pemberton location is probably the least busy and therefore overall the best service. The Park and Tilford is by far the busiest. The Lonsdale location has the least parking. If you are ordering pickup, order online they make fewer mistakes as compared to phoning 310SPOT. It is not a bad idea to open the bag and double-checking everything. It shouldn't be like this but it is. I recommend the Legendary platter with extra triple o sauce if you are going for dinner or lunch - Milkshakes pretty good too. They also have unlimited fries and they are excellent. White Spot also has the best breakfast on the Northshore (North Van and West Van). Everything is good. My wife always gets the egg, Benedict. The coffee is dinner style (weak) and they have free refills.

The server was very good and nice. But the place is a fraud they offer vegetarian meals and they do not respect at all the customer preferences. We ordered a vegetarian dish and they got it wrong, instead of making a new one they only took the chicken out of the plate and served it as a new one even when we asked explicitly to make a new dish. My friend how has been vegetarian for the last 15 years realized about the scam after she had already eaten everything and she found a pice of chicken at the bottom. We got many apologies from our server. The manager offered a lame apology and they took that plate out of the bill but obviously that is not enough, obviously they dosen't care about food restrictions.

Triple -0! They have changed the amount of triple o sauce they put on their burgers. I felt ripped off until the server explained. Just ask for more on the side to get the classic legendary burger tastey gooey wonderful flavour.

Today the waitress was new but to have at least 5 cars come in after us get served. It was horrible service and I will not be back. We have almost been to every white spot around Vancouver area, and this one is one of the best. Food is cooked perfectly and the customer service is to the point as well. One thing that was a bit annoying is the music in the morning a bit loud and not morning friendly music ???? Definitely would recommend.

I came to try to Impossible burger. It was overcooked. She took the ranch off to make it vegan for me but it wasn't replaced with any other condiments like ketchup or mustard. I asked for a water three times and never got it. The avocado wasn't ripe yet so it was difficult to bite through. I upcharge my soda to a milkshake for my mom and with tip, the ONE meal came to $29. Who do you think you are charging $24 for a burger combo? I could eat at A&W twice for that price and be so much happier.

I hadn't been to White Spot in years so recently decided to go and see if the shrimp sandwich was back on the menu. It was and definitely not the same as years ago. It was bland and didn't have the same sauce mixed with the shrimp. I ordered a beer and it was warm and my daughter had a chocolate milkshake which was chocolate milk with whipping cream. The zucchini sticks were unseasoned and bland. The milk shake was compensated though. Very disappointed and won't be back.

Luv this location. Long time staff, all very friendly. I have 3 severe food allergies, white spot takes this very seriously and I can eat out with no worries. We eat at white spot a lot but this location is my favorite because of the staff, its clean, and it's close by. I wish it were bigger because at dinner time there could be quite a wait. Still worth 5 stars, in my opinion.

Excellent staff, service, and food - but ruined by one very sad thing. They let the food sit under the heating lamps WAY too long before serving it to you. Been going to this location for at least 5 years and this has been a problem that is getting worse and worse. Lettuce is wilted and gross, fries are soggy and floppy, and the burger is only moderately warm. Would be a 5 star location if this one issue was fixed, but for now I might have to go elsewhere. A&W down the road can give you fresh and crispy lettuce - there is no excuse for an expensive restaurant like this.

They are trying to be too modern . Their menu seems to be always changing and not for the best. Tried the fried cauliflower was good that is why I gave an extra star but extremely small portions. The staff didn't seem too pleased we only ordered two small things. Miss the legendary chicken. That was the best there. I'd rather just go triple'o drive threw and get the chicken tenders. Won't be back at the restaurant's again.

Overpriced and has been for many years. What particularly irks me at the White Spot is the long wait for the food. The restaurant is almost empty and it still took almost 25 minutes to serve a hamburger and fries. Increasingly my preferred choice for a family restaurant is Medleys, located at the Holiday Inn at the foot of Seymour Boulevard by the Trans Canada Highway. Excellent food, fast service and their everyday, all day price for wine is a bargain.

Unfortunately they don’t seem to communicate and/or just don’t care about orders - I can’t have sauce on the burger because of dietary requirements and EVERY time we order take out they add the sauce, they offer a coupon and an apology, ok if it didn’t happen again. Having to check the burger before we drive off every time and then wait for a new one whilst everyone else is eating or wants to leave already hence takeout is ridiculous it says on the receipt no sauce so they take the order clearly, but what goes on between that and pick up. It’s unacceptable with the price of food going up a certain standard is expected. Won’t be bothering again as a customer certainly don’t feel listened to/appreciated.

Perfect before movie meal. I've been going to White Spot since the early 80's. I do the same routine every time. Open the menu, look for a couple minutes and then order a double double with a cider (was a Coke when I was younger). I've had great service at this location and also not so great. I return because those not so great experiences are few.

White Spot used to be our favorite family restaurant, however, of late, we noticed significant price increases with reduced portion sizes (a double whammy, literally!) and the quality of the food has taken a slight hit. Its not a good value for the money as it used to be. I dare say that Cactus Club while marginally more expensive is a better bang for the buck so we will br going to Cactus from now on.

Great service, and eat in is fine, but take-out is another story. Ordered meals for myself and 3 co-workers. Had to wait when I got there which was fine, but that should mean SOME of our food would be hot still. We literally work next door, and by the time I got there my Monty Mushroom was ice cold. I had to microwave the patty and the burger turned into a disgusting mess. I feel like they didn't put our food in the warmer doohickee. Sad!

The restaurant is clean, we had to point out to the waiter the a booth was "really" empty & available versus being told all the booths were gone. He did not take the time to surgery the restaurant before telling us no booths were empty. Service was good but the shrimp sandwich was super disappointing. Seafood sauce was used instead of mayo so the sandwich was "soggy". I had 2 friends with me and they agreed that you would have thought that the bread had been sitting in water. Please drop the seafood sauce and put on mayo or give it to customers in on-the side- dishes so they can choose to have a soggy shrimp sandwich or a delicious sandwich. Love White Spot so this is constructive criticism.

We went to this White Spot for dinner on a Friday evening. I ordered a dinner salad which cost about $15. It was advertised as containing hot chicken with greens. I couldn't believe my eyes when it arrived: There was the equivalent of one chicken breast, cut up into inch square pieces. The rest of the plate was merely lettuce with a few nuts mixed in. Usually, a "green" salad contains a few pieces of cucumber or a bit of tomato. What a rip-off!

My family and I were regulars of this branch and usually servers are friendly and polite. One day i was dining with a guest, we were served by a Persian guy, he was rushing us to get our take out order ready (as its towards the end of his shift) while we were still eating and just barely started our meal. He came back like 5 times to ask. Very annoying!! Turned out, we were passed on to 2 other servers which made the take out order wrong. The last server made up for it and fixed the bill. My girlfriend was visiting from another city and she was extremely annoyed by the first waiter.

Food and dine-in service was ok considering the circumstances with Covid etc. The value based on the prices seems to be a concern and probably will consider other alternatives. Even after delivery services take their cut wondering if it's really better to get delivery, the quantity is all the same they just loose 15%-25% to the delivery companies!!

Love white spot.... Went for my wife's birthday, they brought a dessert (not asked for), nice touch, but we had to pay for it. Not sure how to feel about that. Enjoyed the the Brownie, but as we didn't order/ask for it, not sure why we had to pay for it (or at least not full price), made worse by the fact that the kids where tired and where outside while we had it (again, not really bad). Kids didn't get their dessert from with their pirate pack (but again, ok as they were full, and didn't need the sugar) So, the universe took care of us (great time so the non-logical mind was happy), the logical mind was upset by paying for a dessert I didn't order and not getting the dessert I did order.

Over 1.5hr wait for a PICK-UP order - go elsewhere. Food is tremendously average, poor/slow service most of the time, once it gets busy things drop off even more. If you get take-out make sure you check the order before you go (have yet to receive everything on the first try).

My mom came here with my 9-year old sister and ordered two adult meals and two kids meals. The server asked for the choice in sides and drinks for both the kids meals. The server then proceeded to only bring the kids entrees, which was missing the fries and drink. When my mom inquired why, the server said that she was trying to take advantage of the system. This would have been nice to explain before she ordered the two meals for my sister. My mom was nice enough to tip the server even after this experience, but it seems like both the server and manager involved both were accusing my mom of trying to get a free drink. The server and manager both never apologized for this confusion and just accused my mom of being a cheat. A simple explanation that she couldn't order two kids meals would have been sufficient to avoid my sister from being disappointed with the meal. Absolutely terrible service!

The good thing about a chain like White Spot, is that you can always expect the food to be a consistent quality, and it's always good. It's good comfort food when I come in for breakfast or brunch, and I always enjoy the burgers with the Triple-O sauce. The bad thing is the inconsistent service. Sometimes the wait time for water, let alone the food can be considerable, and just put a damper on the entire experience. Happens maybe every 1 in 5 visits.

I like WhiteSpot as you can still drive inn and have a burger not just a burger but a Tripoli Burger!! $$$ but worth it. Reservations are not always needed but a party of 4 or more on weekends and holidays is highly recommend. The food entree appetizers and desserts are savory and delectable and phenomenal !! Fast and friendly server. Our food was fresh and hot. The zoo sticks were delicious as well as the clubhouse with fresh multi grain bread and a side of yam fries. The server recommended the Bellini happy hour special, which we got. After a few sips we realized it was a little off. We told him and he apologized and got us a different flavour, which was much better. He was very accommodating to us. Would definitely return to this location.????

White Spot is such a BC staple, unfortunately this particular location is slow....like ridiculously slow, and consistently so at that, so be prepared to play the waiting game and risk possible hanger. Burgers are the real star here and I wouldn’t venture much further than that on the menu.

Loved this place since I was a kid. Now I get to share the tradition with my own kids. Few things beat a fresh Legendary burger with cheese, coleslaw, bottomless fries, and the classic dill but there’s truly something for everyone. Their Happy Hour from 2-5pm is a hidden gem for beer and dry rib fans like moi. Big, big fan.

Well we eat at White Spot a lot and pretty much the same meals on rotation so we know what they should be like but this locations quality is not like most. Food seems stale and over cooked! My Panko prawns were thickly coated and oil drenched. Either the oil was not hot enough or very old. Prawns were not golden brown but brown and total oil taste so I simply removed all the batter crusting and dipped the plain prawns. Very disappointing and did not have time to let them try again which I don’t think would have solved anything. My wife’s broccoli chicks bake was also discoloring and over cooked. Not our usual a white spot experience ???? the server Leanne tried her beat but yeah their gesture was a 15% discount. Won’t be back at that location!

The staff there are such great people. We have gone there for years. My parents were there on a regular basis when my father was alive; when he passed the staff were so kind. They still recognize my mom and treat her so well. The food is good there. One of the better White Post's in the Lower Mainland.

I can honestly say that this location is the most that we've visited in the span of 5 years we started living in the North Shore and all throughout the time (whether breakfast, lunch or dinner), their service and food quality stayed consistent. Surely, there were times when mistakes were made and due to staff shortage or other reasons, quality has gone down. However, the Brooksbank branch bounces back and does not disappoint. We like the fact that this store is conveniently located near the theatre and Save-On-Food as well as other stores (TD Bank, JJ Beans, liquor store, etc) Definitely family friendly and errands can be done before/after eating here. Bonus is that parking spots are abundant. We also like the drive-in and eat at the back of the store where it brings me nostalgia as I remember growing up in the 70's when we rolled down the windows at the Garden City White Spot (sadly they've been gone forever) and they served food & milkshake with an elongated trays while sitting in a car. My kids got to experience what I did so that's very cool. Also, the take outs are very accurate with the time they give you to pick up food. However, please be reminded that this location is busy especially during holiday seasons and weekends. It is also a plus that some servers remember us since we first came in and as our kids started growing, they too got to see them and we almost feel like visiting a family member (A special shout out to Diane our favorite waitress who always come around with a sticker book. My kids love you) Food quality is good. Portion and taste is consistent. Perhaps this White Spot is consistently good because the staff there works longer than the other branches without much turnover. Sure the menu does not change much and it is a family restaurant. But why fix something when its not broken? We genuinely hope they keep up the good job and remain to be the place where we always feel comfortable coming back to.

Worst experience ever today! Been ordering original sunny starts regularly for over a decade and today I ordered 4 for my family. They came with no bacon!! Called to tell them and the guy on the phone who says he’s the “manager” rudely tries to tell me they don’t come with bacon. FALSE! Definitely not the way to treat your customers. Not even an offer to rectify it but a blatant lie. Been going to this white spot since the 90’s and in recent years it has been going way down hill with its quality and even worse with its service. If you can, try to hit another location.

White Spot management really need to look at this location. Two visits in the last three weeks have both been poor. First visit waiting over 40 minutes for a table, even though being put on waiting list, and then being overlooked and bypassed by other diners lower down the list. It took a total of 1 hour to be served from the time entering the resteraunt to taking the first bite For the above mistake, we got two free appetizers and vouchers for two more free ones. Tonight we went back with the vouchers, got seated right away and then ignored for nearly 10 minutes. Then the fries we ordered weren’t cooked AT ALL on the inside. They were rock solid! And also burnt on the outside and smelling like they’d been cooked in old oil (which they had). Not to mention the pops we ordered had zero fizz in them (same as our last visit!). We then had to wait another 10 minutes to complain about the fries as our server never came back to check on us, blaming a large table she had to wait for not doing so. We’d actually eaten our appetizers already and were ready to leave by this time as we’d got a show to go to and was now running late. The server was apologetic, but tried to tell us it was the new batch of potatoes from outside of BC that was the problem and not stale oil. All in all, it’s such a poor location that seems understaffed and lacking any quality control whatsoever. We won’t be going back here.

Picked up 4 burgers for the family. They were ice cold. The burgers weren't marked so we couldn't figure who's was who's. We asked for a gluten free burger to be packed separately but they put it all into the same bag. On top of that they forget the milk shake my wife had ordered. My parents and son and I used to love this White Spot, as it offered a meal for everyone and friendly service. White Spot's vegetarian offerings have been cut to very few options, however, so we've not been coming as often. We made an exception for Pirate Pak Day, this year, as my son is six, and his review is: "It was horrible. No pirate hats, no adult pirate ships, no pirate words, nothing." No pirate servers, either. Not a single, "Shiver me timbers," to be heard. And the special blueberry pie-looking thing is just a load of blueberries thrown into a pie shell and topped with whipped cream. They're not bad, but White Spot is just dialing it in, now. If they were playing in the old Smythe Division, they'd be sitting below the L.A. Kings.

The food was overall delicious as usual, I've ordered brunch but I was being served by three different waitresses throughout my meal. The location, staff and food are fine, if you get your order! I ordered the bacon cheese burger on pirate pack day, and I got home and was missing the patty, bacon and cheese! It was too late to go all the way back. Only lettuce and tomato, mistakes happen, but this was pretty horrible. This place also gave me the run around!! Literally. The online orders Must be picked up at the back entrance, but they have no signage indicating this, so you'll be left running around. The waits were also unacceptable, but staff are awesome and work very hard. Management, please organize things for your staff to make their hard work pay off and be more efficient, the place only runs as well as it's managed, even if your staff work their hardest. Please put wayfinding signage for customers as well! Overall not bad, considering, but there are always areas of improvement, to further please the customers. In the end that should be your goal, positive financial results will follow naturally. I would recommend this place still, the food is great, if you get it.

Awesome service. Went for breakfast around 10am and had a good experience. Food arrived hot and we never had to ask for more decaf coffee. Our sever Diane was on it. Got the eggs Benny with substitutions and the steak hash. Both really good. Would recommend the breakfast and will definitely be going back.

I've been a regular at this white spot location for many years. The last two visits (Mothers Day and this past Sunday) were very poor. I choose this location as the servers are friendly and the food is consistent for family fare. These last two visits were very poor. I expected a bit of a rush on Mothers Day, but I was almost completely ignored while at my table. The Eggs Florentine Benny was oversalted and tasted more like a Knorr Hollandaise mix. No one checked on me to ask how the meal was (which was not good) and I had to wait to get the bill. The server was new (male, middle aged) and I chalked it up to a very busy day. I took my family again, last sunday and was disappointed once again. We had another new server, female, mid thirties, tattoos on neck and arm, and she did not check on us, ask us how things were, or bother to smile during her entire time with us. We kept trying to get her attention, but she walked by looking the other way at least five times. There are some excellent long term servers at this restaurant, but we did not sit in their zone these last few times. To make matters worse, the bathrooms were in poor shape. The ladies had one stall that was "not in service" for both occasions we visited and in fact the other regular stall had an entire roll of toilet paper lodged in it. We will take a rest from this location for now.
