Popular and busy lunch crowd even during the holiday season. Our server was not very attentive after our food arrived. I wasn't able to flag her down for hot water refill for my tea and my friend ate his fries without the malt vinegar. My flatbread was soft and soggy. Disappointed. We usually get the older super friendly asian server. Next time we will ask to be seated in her area.

Food is so so, they didn't have chicken pot pie anymore. The waitress wasn't ethical, she gave me the machine saying I had to tap my credit card first then she would deduct my gift card. I got it, she wanted me to pay the tips based on the whole amount which it was fine with me punched the whole amount. I punched 11% of tips, then she swiped my gift card, punched another 10% and gave me the receipt. Since the amount is not big, I let it go after I looked my receipt later in the car, but I won't go back.

We drove-in here a couple Sunday's ago, for a late burger lunch. I love the white spot drive ins, but have never been to this one before. We had amazing service from our server, but I have lost my receipt with his name. I want to say Michael...but I'm not 100%. This guy was an extremely hard worker, and you could tell that he was really working his butt off to give each car top notch service. I just wanted to let him know that his efforts do not go unnoticed! I hope he has been commended for his hard work. We have also received great service from a server inside the restaurant, the prior visit. You guys seem like a hard working bunch and are doing a great job. Keep up the good work!

Their menu has classic, comfort meals, as well as newer items added in order to serve a wider range of customers. Rush hour can be a bit of a wait time to get a table, especially weekends. Not ideal for little members of your family, if in a rush. Once you get a table, it is all worth it, there is a dish for everyone. Staff are very friendly, food delicious and fresh. Price is within reason.

Plenty of parking. Got seated right away but over the top noisy in the corner where we were seated but noones fault I guess. Food was cooked perfectly today. Really yummy. Waitress was nice but left us alone alot, we needed more coffee etc. I think she was a little overrun. Probably short staffed because of Pandemic. I think everyone was doing their best.

We dine here regularly. Service is great, food is good, it's a great family establishment. Yesterday was the first day for us of the vaccine passport rollout and the staff were dealing with it very professionally in somewhat difficult or frustrating circumstances. If you're looking for family food, refillable drinks, bottomless fries, this is the spot.. Burgers are the best fast casual and are a BC staple. Previously the tables were more spread out, and now we are back to "normal" which can feel cramped at times (get a booth). Other than feeling really close to our neighbours it was a good value meal, and we'll continue to attend regularly.

This one is my favorite white spot out of all of them. The food is always served to standard and fresh. It seems like they have the same foh and boh staff that has worked there for a long time. It shows that their staff care a lot through their food and service. I continue to be disappointed by other locations but this one is always perfect!

Had the best meal at white spot Kingsway last night. Karen was an amazing server, she was very attentive and made us feel welcomed. I left a $10 tip on a $55 order and I could genuinely see the look of appreciation on her face. This was so refreshing to see in a city where servers expect tips like they’re nothing. Karen did an amazing job and i’ll be sure to even tip her more next time. Thanks Karen for making us feel welcomed and we really appreciate your service.

My partner and I came in here on new year’s eve this year. We came in about 2 hours before it was closing and got seats right away. It was busy but not too crazy busy since even with the restricted seating there were still seats left and people coming in after us who were getting seated right away too. We ordered some drinks and our food and waited. The waiter took pretty long to get our drinks but that was fine because it was new year’s eve so we understood they may be busier in the kitchen. We waited for literally an hour and 5 minutes and our food still didn’t come. Our waiter didn’t say anything to us during the time while he passed our table multiple times. No apology for the delay or reassurance that we would be getting our food soon. A couple came in about 20-30 minutes after we did and were seated close by, they ordered their food and got it, and finished it all even before the hour was up that we had been there waiting. So my partner and I decided to just get up and leave without making a fuss after an hour and 5 minutes of being ignored. If there was some mix up that delayed our food for an hour we should have been told about it and not completely ignored by our waiter, who was the only guy waiting tables that night (you know who you are if you’re reading this). Rude service, which is probably reflective of the lousy management. Would not come back here again.

Visited this location for the first time in memory. Was pleasantly surprised by the quick, efficient, friendly and helpful service. Michael(7460) was attentive, listened well, and assisted us in finding what we were looking for on the menu. His attention to details and his overall table management was at the top tier of what I've seen in 30 years. Kudos to this store team.

Ordered takeout food because there is no seat in restaurant at the moment. Food tasted good and yummy but was a bit soggy. However, the wait was long even though I ordered online and stated food would be ready by a certain time. Got there a few minutes early and waited in my car for the food to be delivered to me. Waited and waited...after waiting for 20 minutes the bag of food came. Yay ???? I think my food was packaged up but the staff didn’t bring me the food as when I got home the burger was soggy. Would have given them 4 ⭐️ if food was brought out to me on time. UPDATE: I recently went back to this White Spot and had much better service than I originally had. Take out service experience was much better. On my phone I click on the email to let them know I arrived at their parking lot. Food was delivered to me a minute later. ???? It was also dinner time and their lot was half full. Food was delivered on time. I rate this White Spot 4 stars. Thank you!

Menu has seasonal specials. But I also have the original burger with triple O sauce with added Cesarsalad & zucchini sticks for an extra $3.00. Great place for breakfast lunch or dinner.

I've made many visits to this location, but I'm not sure what's gone wrong recently. I arrived to 15+ people waiting in the parking lot, all for takeout orders that were woefully late. With 1.5 hours of lead time, my order was over 45 minutes late, without any apology from the store. They clearly need to manage their takeout flow better.

Ordered the Lasagna for dinner - it was overcooked, with dry crunchy noodles all around the outside, and extremely thin with just thin layers of filling, and no real substance .. probably the worst bite of restaurant food I've ever tasted! I rarely complain or send food back, but this was an unfortunate exception. The server exchanged it for CBC which was fine, but overall it was barely 1 star ... not impressed today!!

This particular White Spot usually has good service. Been going here for 11 years. Burgers are solid, great kids' menu, even decent salads. That and reasonably priced. The only thing that's not great is their selection. They marked it as craft and local. It is neither.

Quick and friendly service; okay food. I got the bacon and cheddar burger. The fries were crunchy, but a little cold and stale. Triple O's is less expensive, and it has juicier burgers compared to WS. Only 2 stalls in the washrooms. Cozy atmosphere overall with imitation wood paneling and tables. This location is very popular. Not sure if you can make reservations, I never do but I usually only wait 10 or 15 minutes. Typical White Spot menu. If you've never been White Spot is THE burger place in western Canada. They even have a few locations that still have drive-ins with car service, a hangover from the 50's (not this location unfortunately).

This location has somewhat limited parking, but has an interesting jiggle at the back which spits you out onto King Edward St. Food is the usual White Spot. Wait-staff are decent. The furnishings could do with an update but it's fine unless you're expecting 5-star dining.

Half their menu isn't on SkipTheDishes and even if you phone in an order for pickup, be ready for long wait times wrong orders and incompetent staff. I wish you could select different locations but instead I'm just never ordering White Spot ever again unless it's a different location.

Don't get me wrong! The customer service is absolutely wonderful! Every staff member was so nice and helpful.. I am only giving 3 stars for the food unfortunately.. we ordered the burger sandwich and we barely see the burger.. mostly lettuce ???? and ???? .. but that isn't just for white spot though.. lately we have been going to the same restaurants we've always been going to and they are either sacrificed the quality of their food or the portions. My husband wasn't happy with the burger or the poutine at all.. pretty much disappointed with the food but extremely happy with the service. ????????

We stopped coming here for over 2 years due to too many instances of bad service. We stopped in again recently and our faith has been restored! Our server Mandy was an allstar. She had a big busy section but she worked it very well, . She checked in regularly with us, no mistakes with either of our orders and was very pleasant. We will be back. My least favourite location. The service is good but the food is hit or miss - mostly a miss during weekday lunch. I ordered a salad once from here and the avocado was grey and it was just thrown together like a mess. Another time I ordered a burger and fries, and it came with no fries but an unbelievable (yet hilarious) mountain of coleslaw.

This is my first time giving such a poor rating for a food service. Since, I am usually pretty easy going when it comes with food and I understand how hard it is when it is busy for servers. However, I went to Whitespot with my siblings and we had a disappointing service. We each ordered food, and we had two plates brought out and was waiting for one more order. We sat there and waited... 20 minutes went by and didn't see the order come out. During that 20 minutes wait, we kept trying to wave down our server because my little brother has yet to receive his ketchup for the french fries and the coke we ordered when we first arrived (45 minutes ago). Our server was passing by us, despite us waving at her and she kept laughing? We had to wave down another server and he brought it to her attention. She came to the table to look and noticed one person's plate was missing, without saying anything she just laughed and walked to the computer screen and began to punch in the order and turning around each time laughing to confirm the order with us. The order came out 10-15 minutes later. We were already disappointed as our food was cold while waiting for the last order. We then see our server bringing out a "back of house" honey mustard bag and bring it to the table in the corner with a group of friends whom were eating, and they were just joking and laughing. I just thought it was completely unprofessional and I had never experienced that type of service while eating at the Oakridge Centre whitespot, more than 50 times. But this was my first time at Kingsway location and it was the worst experience.

Awful, very expensive, 16$ for a basic breakfast and 3.50 for a coffee not included, small little cups, eggs were ok, sausages were boiled then placed on the grill momentarily, and the potatoes were obviously cold boiled potatoes stuck in the deep fryer. So would not recommend this place...

It's food from any typical White Spot location. However it wasn't a place where when you come in, there was like no service when the restaurant had one hour of still being open (Oakridge). When I left, there were still people coming in to have some hot food settle their empty stomaches.

Traditional West Coast family-friendly restaurant. Offers wide range of menu selections from burgers to pasta. Sometimes service can be slow during peak meal times, but I have always had friendly servers. I really miss the old menu items from the 80's, especially their cheesecake, but times change. I still enjoy their mushroom burger and zoo (zucchini) sticks.

5 stars for our server. White Spot is White Spot and the level of food should be expected to be the same no matter which location you go to. Our server, Kim, was incredible. She was always smiling, and seemed genuinely happy to serve us...a quality rarely seen in Western restaurants. We had questions that she answered, we had others that she couldn't, but she went to find the answer. 5 stars for Kim! And, oh yes...I had the mushroom burger, and it was not a disappointment.

Portions way small for the price. A cup of coffee is $3.50. Eggs benidict advertised as thick sliced back bacon. But was in fact paper thin slice of regular ham. Terrrible service. With the effects of a pandemic, you would think they would want to entice return customers. Instead they rip you off and thank you on the way out. I used to love whitespot. Now I will never go again. And yes. $7 for two cups of coffee.

Not sure what the policy is. But called twice for a reservation of 6 for a Saturday. Two different people said the similar thing. Manager policy no reservations after 5pm and more than 8 people for reservations on weekends. A bit confusing and not sure if policy applies to all locations.

Average food, excellent service. Bottomless drinks and fries. Toasted (the bread) shrimp sandwich was good size with plenty of shrimp, some lettuce and some dressing. Slaw was chunky style and very good. Skin-on fries: good point - not oily or fatty; bad point - very dry. End of day fries? Lemonade was really full of lemon. Coffee was very, very good. Smooth yet strong on taste. The table service was excellent. Waitress worked really hard. Very friendly and everything served with a smile. Seating area clean and tidy. Washroom (toilets) were basically clean where it mattered but the room needed a clean.

Dec 31 2022, placed an order (for over $110) at 6:30pm, came back after 50 minutes, outside at the pickup windows I asked for my order and was told they don't know when will be ready, after an hour and half and several customers cancelations and complaints (few Skip the Dishes employees left tired of waiting) I found out my order was actually ready long time ago; at home we found out one item was missing and was replaced by other, probably from a canceled order, how bad could it be ? White Spot should hire experienced people, these 4 young ladies at the pickup windows messed up peoples meals, there were few moments when we all waiting outside in the cold weather and I saw these ladies laughing and joking inside.

They don't have coffeepots so with three coffee drinkers at the table, they had to come back a lot. There were no tea pots until 20 mins in. Food was ok. Had a salad with grilled Chicken. Service is usually good however even though the website says you can make reservations when I called to make one the person was very rude and then stated that reservations are only for a group over 8. I explained that we have someone who is handicapped and he pretty much said too bad you'll have to wait like everyone else. Very disappointed.... at one time White Spot was our safety..don't know what to eat, go to White Spot. Not anymore, my sons mac and cheese was barely half a bowl , had to give him part of my burger.At one time my milkshake came with a full glass and at least another 3/4 of a glass in the tin.. today I got a glass that was 3/4 full and about a inch in the tin so I topped up the glass and ask the waitress about it and she said the manager said it was the right portion. . If it wasn't for the server it would have been no stars.. Oh. That was the mac and cheese from the kids menu the portion was about the same as the scoop of ice cream that came with the pirates pack.

4.5. This white spot is hands down, amazing. Every time the service, food, and attitude of waiters are on point. There’s a reason they’re always busy and been around forever. The only thing is that it could go through a slight renovation or updating or cleaning. I like this white spot location. Parking is fair. Only been a couple times we had to park across the street. Yay to bottomless (fresh) fries.

Great patio and heartwarming service! I took myself out on an overdue solo date and had a lovely time. The patio was surrounded by lush plants high enough to feel private but also low enough to get lots of light. The umbrellas were strategically placed so I was dry despite the downpour of rain. I have had the Impossible sandwich for take out at Triple Os but this was the first time I genuinely enjoyed it! A bit of a bummer that the burger bun was not Vegan BUT I'm still glad that White Spot offers this tasty Vegan option. More please!????????

I ordered avocado burger with classic plate. It’s very big and voluminous! Classic plate is zoo sticks and fries. If you order plate, you can refill fries. But I wasn’t able to do???? Waiters are also kind. But cost is expensive for me. It cost $30 include chip. I recommend you sharing one plate.

I visited there to have their thanksgiving dinner at 7pm on thanksgiving day. When I ordered it, the staff said it’s sold out. I was very sad but I ordered NY stake instead. Few minutes later, the staff came back to me and said NY stake is also sold out. And then I asked her if they have pumpkin pie and she said she would keep 1 for me. When I finished my dinner that I didn’t want to get, I asked her to bring my pumpkin pie. But she said she kept it but someone took it and gave another customer. I wasn’t able to get anything that I wanted to get there. It was just 7pm on thanksgiving day and the thanksgiving day dinner was already sold out and somehow my pumpkin pie was taken. Very bad management. I will never come back.

A friend said White Spot has the best milkshake in the world. And she was totally right! My friend and I came here just to have the milkshake. This White Spot is very decent and clean, with nice decors and furniture. We ordered one chocolate milkshake, which was the signature, and one cotton candy milkshake. The server gave us two huge glasses with some extra milkshake in two other cups! Those were very generous portions for only $5.99/ each! The milkshake were very very good! They were so sweet and creamy that once I started to drink, I could not stop! I also could not decide which one was my favourite cause they both tasted amazing! We knew nothing about the happy hours so we paid a little bit more, which was not a big deal :) If you want to check out White Spot’s fantastic milkshake, make sure to check out their happy hours to save $1 per glass of milkshake! Overall, 5 stars!!

Inconsistent kitchen. Classic spot. Great clubhouse when it's good, but very inconsistent food, half the time I get toasted bread, sometimes I don't, sometimes lots of meat, other times, one slice of bacon, almost no turkey. It's sometimes loaded, sometimes it's bread and mayo. No portion control. It's a roulette game, but, their triple-o sauce is addicting and keeps me coming back. They have kind front of house workers -- again, just very inconsistent food (unless you dine in)

Unpretentious, family-friendly dining establishment serving traditional favorites like milkshakes, burgers and fries in addition to contemporary dishes like seared Ahi Tuna, oriental themed salads and grilled steak. Burger combos are a terrific bargain when you factor in the bottom-less fries. Entrees are generally satisfying and won't disappoint. Line-ups during dinner time can be a turn-off, especially since they do not take reservations. First come, first served.

Very busy location, had an early lunch on a Thursday. Lots of servers, none with a great sense of urgency. Our server was pleasant but slow. Our food sat under heat lamps for almost 5 minutes while she served beverages, something that should never happen. We only got our food because another server picked it up. The burger was dry and had no sauce. Considering it is quite pricey at $16, I would have expected much better. The manager was excellent, I spoke to him and he immediately took it off my bill. I enjoy White Spot now and then, but this location was definitely not one of my favorites. Would not go again.

I came to this restaurant 3 times and I can’t say that it’s amazing when it comes to food. I had good food at white spot, just not at this location. After today never coming here again. I got bacon cheddar burger and my fiancé got a 1/2 rack and salad. The burger patty is very well done and dry and the patty was so chewy that my jaw had a good exercise. 1/2 rack portion size is very small and to top it off there was a whole fly in salad. They said sorry and we didn’t have to pay for her meal. Our server was great.
