You don't expect amazing things from White Spot but this place just comes across as understaffed and apathetic. Was really embarassed as my party was treating me and the wait was 40 min for some cold dishes. They were remade but apparently not very good. The manager did discount 15% but not charging for the problem dishes would have been more significant and more appropriate. Nobody seemed to -really- care so just all around disappointing

Alright food, very slow service, & extremely filthy tables. Our waitre was quite cocky, but my cousins put him back in his place. We ordered our food which took ages to come, the food was not to our standard at this particular White Spots Resturant. I had ordered the Spot Fish & Chips with extra starter sauce. The fish was nice & flaky, well portion of fish to batter. Though my fries were quite cold & soggy. My Mother & Cousins had ordered the Legendary Burger with Cheeses. They had also asked for extra Coleslaw salad so that they both could share the Salad & for the kitchen to split up the burger & fries in two different plates. Well first the Waiter refused to have the kitchen split up the order into 2 plates. Than he was nasty when we asked him to take back the burger & fries & have the kitchen staff split up the order into 2 separate plates for sharing. The lady manager at this White Spot had to cover the entire bill as she too was embarrassed at her employee's attitude with Customers. That waiter really needs further education & training in Customer Service, how to speak to customers & how not to lose customers at that location.

Food poisoning from eating the Chargrilled Salmon & Seafood Trio at this White Spot location at the end of May. Wild Pacific Sockeye salmon topped with shrimp, scallops & clams in a creamy rosé sauce with arugula & Campari tomatoes. Served over jasmine rice with broccolini. I had had this dish several times before and this time it had too much sauce and it did not seem as fresh or the same quality as previously. That last squishy prawn I ate haunts me still. I was very sick for days, missing 3 days of work and almost going to hospital. Reported to White Spot who were only concerned with preparing themselves for the ensuing health inspection. This used to be a long time weekly family favourite place for dinner. No longer. Beware as I have since been told of people with food poisoning from roast beef sandwiches, coleslaw, and other dishes with sauces from this White Spot. Proceed with caution!

Gets really busy during breakfast/brunch hours on weekends. Expect a 10 to 15 min wait. Service is still great very friendly servers and yummy food. The sunny start is my favorite breakfast!

Too slow service. Food took long to come. It would taste good if it was not cold when it was served. That's bad. Usually, White Spot has good service, even when they are busy. However, it seems this is not true for this store. Maybe because they have the drive-in area outside. So, they serve people in the cars and the ones that are inside the restaurant are delayed. Really bad. I've never expect such a poor service at White Spot as I had at this store. I can still choose White Spot, but not this unit, for sure.

This Whitespot is in the middle of nowhere, off of Gilmore and Lougheed Highway. It is easily accessible and has marked parking for take out, dine in, and also car hop eat in the car service. I had a Monty burger, salmon burger, and sweet potato fries and the quality of the take out food is exceptional. Packaging is great and there were no greasy bags.

I'd love to rate this place higher, I like the food, but literally the last four times I've gotten takeout here they have messed up my order, mostly things I paid for not included in the bag. Two times they forgot my ceasar salad, and this last time they forgot my diet coke and forgot to put Avacado on our Avacado impossible burger. They really need to get better about organization with takeout orders. Close to 100% error rate is really bad.

I havent been here in a while but wanted to update my review. This white spot location sucks. I had the worst service on fathers day with my kids. Case in point i got in trouble for refilling my own iced tea after 2 servers didnt get the hint and stepped over my empty glass in the middle of the walkway.

As someone who works, studies, lives and seeks hospitality improvement in Vancouver and the world, I have to tell the story of yesterday when something that has never happened to me before showed a great example of how to play the restaurant and hospitality game. I went in for breakfast around 8 AM, and I was served by Jacquie (Jacquie I don't know if I'm spelling your name right) and she was always very attentive with her guests, then proceeded to serve me some of the best coffee I've had in YEARS (I'm Venezuelan half Colombian, so trust me I know my coffee well) and then served me a Nat's Breakfast that wasn't certainly a lot in quantity, but boy oh boy the quality was so good I did not care! So as I am half way through my delicious meal, I noticed there was a hair on one of my poached eggs, and I proceeded to notify the server so I would get a new poached egg. Surprise, surprise, the chef took the time to RE-DO THE WHOLE BREAKFAST ORDER AGAIN! Even though I was pretty much half way there, this put a huge smile on my face, and after finishing it off as I was waiting for my bill, the wonderful Jacquie let me know that... I DID NOT HAVE A BILL AT ALL!!! I was so wowed!!! I don't know whose management decision was, but I learned a lot yesterday from that little big gesture, I could not resist but giving my server a well deserved tip. Thanks to the staff and the chef for having such a great consideration, this is how you play this game and I will certainly be back for more. Soon.

we went yesterday to try this location out of the rush hour about 9pm. here is what happened: we ordered: kids burger meal. Avocado prawns flat bread chicken Alfredo Chicken pot pie Lasagna Soup special - we got the soup and the flat bread - without the Avocado. - and then we got the chicken pot pie and the Lasagna on time, the chicken pot pie was more runny than what I would like it. - then we got the burger and fries we asked for side ketchup, we never got it. The time the servant brought the Alfredo without the chicken as they have forgot, and just before us leaving we got extra chard piece of chicken breast added on the side, it was very dry and bitter because all of the burnt marks. will I recommend this to anybody, absolutely NO.

I suspect this location is not long for this world. Sitting all by it's lonesome across from a power substation, it's surrounded by encroaching condo towers. This is one of the last locations where you can still get car-hop service. That is to say, order from and eat in your car in a designated spot in the parking lot. It's a BC classic and offers mostly comfort food. The menu is not inspiring or groundbreaking but people don't choose White Spot to try new things. This location is smaller with less seating and I do not think there is seating at the bar. Price is mid-range. Cuisine style is traditional north american.

Food tastes ok but it doesn't make up for the small portions. The prices have noticeably gone up which is understandable but I would not consider their menu items good value for the money. They do have things like endless fries and drinks but I personally don't like filling up on fries and pop. The only thing that is priced decently for what you get is the pirate pak.

Had a small group and we decided to go to White spot. Staff and service were excellent and took very good care of us. I had the legendary burger with green salad. It was pretty good, salad was fresh and quite tasty. I meant to ask if it was bottomless like the fries but I got full so it didn't really matter. All the components were there for the burger yet somehow it just didn't taste quite the same or as good as the outlet on kingsway. Not bad just not quite what I was expecting

Came here tonight for dinner with my bf. Ordered the shrimp gyoza to share, a burger for him and salad for myself. Appy came late and we waited nearly an hour for our mains. The staff was dealing with a large table and never acknowledged us once to check on us. We never got our drinks refilled or told why the food was taking so long. We asked two other servers what the hold up was and didn’t get an answer. Food finally came and we had to leave so we asked for the bill. Waitress came over and explained that she got the timing wrong. We were not only starving by that point but late to meet friends for a show. We asked again for the bill and was told the manager would come talk to us. Manager came and compted our meal. It was a nice gesture but too late for us by that point. We had to eat our food quickly and leave. They never provided refills or even ketchup for the fries. I understand being busy but to not even ask if we wanted refills? Or even to explain why our meals were so late in coming out? It will be a while before we go back.

The service at this location is appalling. My wife and I stopped eating in here because they dont deserve tips. We order take out every now and then. We are always thoroughly disappointed with how we are given a time for our food to be ready and without fail we end up waiting the same amount of time at the restaurant that has been quoted for it to be ready. This location brings back the most memories for me having dinner with my family. I always order the Legendary platter with lettuce, tomatoes, and raw onions with a classic plate (side caesar salad, and zoo sticks). You can get a western plate as well witch is a side caesar salad, and onion rings. Service was on point, and food was satisfying.

The food here is good, but the service needs work. I came here for lunch with a friend around 2pm. I know the servers saw us as my eyes were in direct contact with theirs, I'm just wondering why it took over 10 minutes to get us seated especially since it was kinda slow. The wait time at the service wasn't much better either. However, the upside of this place is the food. I ordered their Brunch burger, beef patty, lettuce, tomato, onion ring, fried egg and sauce. Wow! What a brunch burger it was, tasted like breakfast and lunch made love and had a baby. That burger would be the child of that love making. The fries could have been better though, but anyways I'm glad that I ordered extra fries for us when we made the order as we didn't have to wait for more. Another thing that disappoints me about these types of restaurants is the price for soft drinks, $3.50 for unlimited refills isn't bad, but do make sure you do get refills otherwise it's definitely not worth getting it.

Ordered the veggie tortilla brunch. It was SO BLAND. Like they didn't even add salt to it? I had to douse the thing in hot sauce to even taste something. Not for me, sorry, but if that's your kind of thing then you should definitely go here! Other than that, the service is great and they have wonderful patio seating when the weather is really nice!

The staff js alwsys friendly. We stopped for breakfast around peak time in the morning and the waitresses was quick to take our order. Food took a moderate time which was understandable giving how busy they were. Toast is always slightly burnt but they took care of it as soon as i said something.

Post COVID lockdown. This White Spot is now open. Social distancing style. The staff is all PPE'd and the service was good. Paper menus get tossed after each guest leaves. Bathrooms clean. The whole place felt real clean. I ordered the beefsteak hash as did my date and we both really enjoyed our meal. Delicious and filling. Nice experience. Great job White Spot Gilmore

This place is great for old people. Don't stop in for a beer. No bar. That said, I had a beer, had great service but sat at an awkward table for one. Payment was quick and the environment, well, plain, good for old people. Parking is a challenge (so is leaving parking) so plan ahead a bit. I'll go back with my gran for sure.

I was at this restaurant for dinner and was so disappointed by the fact that the restaurant was approximately 27 degrees inside. I had decided to go, as this is one of my family's regular restaurants, to escape the heat. Unfortunately even after the manager was asked by 3 staff to turn on the AC and he finally did, it was not working. I ended up feeling sick from the heat and had to pack up the meal and go home. I will think twice before visiting this restaurant again!

I like to take my youngest son here for our weekly date nights. He orders the salmon burger and I loooove the mushroom cheddar burger. Cool booths for sitting in and the wait staff is efficient but not too in your face. My pet peeve is when waiters are always asking how everything is and you have a mouth full of food or are in the middle of a sentence. That doesn't happen here. Thank you Whitspot ????

What can I say? It's White spot so it's always consistent and the service is great. It's one of their smaller locations so if you were bringing a larger group I would call ahead. The impossible burger is a major improvement over the beyond pattie, if you're into that sort of thing

A good spot for hungry families on the road or looking to save a buck or two. The service is very fast, unless there is a crowd. The waiters and waitresses are polite and very understanding of mental disabilities. The kid's menu is very child-friendly, too.

I'm not sure how hard it is to read a slip of paper to make sure orders are correct, but the last 2 or 3 times I've come here to get take out. Something has been missing or wrong. Tonight, they forgot the fries entirely. I'm surprised they remembered the rest of the meal. Congratulations to your staff for being illiterate. Will not be returning, and I will make sure no one I know goes to this location. Should have spent the extra 5-10 minutes to go to the Market Crossing location. At least they can read.

Same menu, experience, and taste as most other Whitespots. However, this location is just a bit older than other Whitespots. For example, the paint on the tables were a bit chipped and the interior lighting was inconsistent. I would love if this location would receive a renovation in the near future!

As a former White Spot employee , I must say , “What happened with the great service?” Once the waitress came and took my order I never saw her again , not once did she come by the table , somebody else brought the order out . She kept walking by and never noticed me until I had my coat on and debit card in hand . I paid and she looked at the machine with a blank stare. No Service means No Tip and it also means that I won’t be back . That location needs some new , fresh , vibrant staff. Great Food with no happy friendly service. See you at another location maybe . This was a very pleasant experience. With white spot, every experience is different depending on location and who is working. Today our food and service were impeccable. I still gave only 4 stars based on the restaurant as a whole. It's always a quick go to for the whole family and if you don't go expecting too much it is satisfying. Perhaps some of the appeal is the nostalgia factor, as I have very fond memories of pirate packs as a kid.

Hi, this evening my GIft Card was refused at the Lougheed and Gilmore location and I am very frustrated. I was trying to place an online order and could not find anywhere to input my Gift Card information. So I tried calling this location at least 5-6 times and each time the phone kept ringing until it timed out and disconnected. I was trying to call to ask what to do, the entire way from my work to White Spot. The only reason I ordered tonight at all was due to the fact we had a Gift Card. So, if I had known they would have rejected that payment method, we would have ordered very differently. I also found it very strange we could not order JUST the burger online and we HAD to order a combo/meal. Not only that, but while all this was being sorted out and discussed, I was quite literally waiting out in the cold. So not only was it freezing out, but I was also tired and hungry after a long day of work and I was put in a very awkward position of having to choose to either cancel my order on the spot, and then proceeding to have to search for something else last minute to buy on my way home or go home and only begin the cooking process, which would have extended the time between when we could eat... OR, conversely, what ended up happening is that I ended up feeling forced to put money on my credit card, against my will. On the back of the GC, it clearly states "Protect this card like cash. Present this card at participating White Spot Restaurants in Canada and use for payment of food and beverages.". So if it is equivalent to cash, how can it be legally refused? I totally feel dejected and embarrassed at the situation, and truly feel like this experience has has soured my joy for White Spot.

Ordered delivery of baby ribs with side of French fries and coleslaw. Baby ribs were delicious and would be happy to have those again, but French fries were super disappointing. Half the box of little ends and pieces overfried and burnt, things that usually are left at the bottom, yet it was served as full meal in our case. The fries also arrived cold and dryish, doesn't seem to be made to order or anytime close to ordering (restaurant is only 1km away from our house, so can't blame the weather or distance).

The hostess was friendly and waitress did her job adequately. The food... I dont understand North American standards but it's a poor value and it seems to consistent with chains like these. I ordered the Mexicali tacos with prawn. Very small portion for a moderate price of $14. I know there are costs involved such as staff, insurance, utilities etc etc.. but I find it a bit much for the portion. Yes fries are bottomless but so is pop... just a simple carbohydrate.

Painfully slow. Waited over half an hour for food and when it arrived the chicken fettuccine was cold. Very subpar - pasta noodles were limp and soggy. Sauce was watery and quite tasteless. I've had this dish before at other locations, and it's usually superb. The manager did apologize and take off 15 percent, however the whole ordeal was pretty disappointing.

"Nostaligia" would be my way of saying that this place has been here for many years. I haven't been to a White Spot (particularly this location) in many years and it looks the same since. Friendly staff, but it did take our food awhile to come out. Unlimited fries or smashed potatoes that comes with quite a few entrees. You will come out full.

This is my White Spot preferred location, probably one of the oldest one in BC. While the location has a huge parking, the space inside is limited compared to new locations like Kensington (still in Burnaby). During my last 4 or 5 visits I have noticed that the temperature of the burgers was not ideal, this may be due to a change in the kitchen but overall the service is good.

I get take out here. I remember when I was little I would do the car service here. It’s been a while but I wouldn’t let me kids eat in the car nowadays. My only issue with takeout vs eat in is... the fries are bottomless and the salad is plentiful when you eat in. I took 2 bites of my salad and this is all I have left in the box. I would have taken a picture first but I was hungry. Anyways you can analyze the picture and see that the parchment paper is dry and there’s no moisture marks on the box (which is really small). But it’s unavoidable as I have kids to watch as well as a sick mother. Besides that, the food is decent and has a dedicated parking lot. (The Kensington one I find packs more but it’s a bit farther and sometimes parking there is horrible).

One rainy Sunday morning, I was driving around listening to Miles Davis taking in the sights of Lougheed Highway and the exceptionally beautiful construction sites as they turn the area into a generic concrete jungle. Slowly approaching Gilmore, a pang of hunger hit my gut. As if a sign from the BC God's a White Spot appeared - taking it as a sign to visit because A) I was hungry. B) I'd never been. C) See B and A. I parked my car and entered the tired looking relic of the 60s homage to the automobile centric way of thinking. Sat by some acne covered kid into a corner of nowhere, where even the loudest of sins could be ignored. I exclaimed my desire to move seats and (as a solo diner, this rarely happens) I was moved to a windowed booth. I was stoked! My server was so utterly friendly and so lovely. The rest of them seemed a bit a "done" with their jobs and people. But whatever... I ordered some food and I shocked and surprised by being served essentially a plate of grease, not cheap grease either. Not really much taste or quality to be found on the plate - felt there was healthier nutrition to be found on the cutlery. I was massively disappointed. I doubt I'll ever go to a White Spot again after this meal. However the service was friendly and very unVancouver. So I may return just for that

Highschool cafeteria breakfast food at best. Eggs Benedict is a simple dish. Hollandaise on poached egg, with a protein on a bread. I don't want to be mean but this felt like the cheapest version with lowest quality that money could buy for $16. 2 eggs, 1 English muffin, sauce and 2 small slices of... Ham? And 6 crushed deep fried potato wedges with a different cook on each one. I get it... You're supposed to be cheap fast food... But you're not cheap and McDonald's still has you beat in quality. And price as well I guess. The two stars is for the fantastic servers... But really you deserve 5 stars.

Seasoned staff were very busy and doing the best they could, new staff (understandably) seemed to be a bit clueless but unfortunately, also seemed to not really be trying too hard. Honestly, this White Spot just looks so depressing. From the sorta outside diner look, to the semi low light interior. It's like they wanted to do that fancy low light thing like Earls or Cactus Club, when really it kinda just looks like they didn't pay their electricity bills so they're getting their power cut at any moment hence the dimmed lights. I would put this as "average" for White Spot. The Oakridge Mall one is bomb though.

Not very pleased, down visiting from Yukon, took my cousin for a Thank you supper for having us stay with him.Only after having drinks served and then hors-d'ouvres were we told they have no Steak, Porkchops, Fettuccini and Rice available to serve. Being told before ordering would have been more appropriate. Then after having a lesser meal we were graciously offered a free desert in compensation. After ordering dessert we were told the Manager only offered one on the house. I declined! Yep I will go back!!

I’ve been coming to is location since I was a kid. It was where my father would take my brother and I. Since my fathers passing we come here to celebrate every now and then. It’s unfortunate the front of house lady looked bitter on this day and wasn’t very personable at all. Not just to us but to people who came in after us. Our server however was lovely.

The food can be a hit or miss. If you let the staff know that you're dissatisfied for any reason, they will accommodate your request. I frequent one of the locations on a regular basis, for either eat-in or take-out, and the take-out gives you a discount if you create an online pick-up account.

This is my second time at this location. I've noticed the service is very slow. We weren't even greeted with a hello when we walked in. The hostess was there and seen us but walked away into the restaurant for whatever reason. After taking down my name I asked if there was a wait and she said no, they only needed to set some tables up. Almost 10 minutes later we were seated. Our waitress didn't come to our table for 5-10 minutes. This location should have more staff working the floor if they can't serve customers in a more timely manner. Also, the limited time personal size blueberry pie is not a pie. They should rename it as a fresh blueberry tart. That is a much better description because the blueberries are raw.

Found a shady spot to park so ordered my favourite monty mushroom combo. Its been a while since i indulged myself like this so i had forgotten how big their burgers are. ????. I started with the fries and coleslaw and got full so packed the burger back up and headed for home . Going to warm that burger up in the oven and have it for a late supper. Yum ???? Car service is take out only but hey you can still sit there and eat in the car. The dining room is open , social distancing practised here . Be polite and enjoy your meal. ????

We've come to this White Spot many times before and have never had a problem, which is why this experience was quite a disappointment. After our food was delivered, we received next to no service. At no point did anyone ask us how our food was. And after 20mins of our glasss being empty, and sitting on the edge of the table, we finally had to call out to a waitress for refills. Not to mention it took another 20 to 25 mins before we had to call to a waitress for the bill, with our plates at the edge of the table. I would be more forgiving if the restaurant had been busy, but it definitely was not. The table directly behind us was given perfectly fine service, as well as those in front of us. Needless to say we felt totally invisible and ignored.

Went to the white Spot on Lougheed Highway in Burnaby with my sister. Had to give our names and was told it was about a 10 minute wait. We sat in the waiting area.Turns out they crossed out our names and 3 other customers who came in after us were seated right away. Very unprofessional staff at White Spot. They did not even apologize. If you whant good food and service, WhiteSpot is the wrong restaurant for you. Better off at McDonald's than there.

Dec 24th, 2014 - we were seated in a side hall area that had 4 tables. We were the first seated there, then the table behind my son had 2 seated, the table behind me had 4 seated. We put in our orders first. Then a 3rd person joined the 2. After 20 mins the 2 were serve, then a few mins later the 4 were served, and the 3rdgouy who joined the 2 was served. After about 10 more mins we finally got the guy that took our order and asked where our order was. He cam back and said because it was so complicated (were talking eggs here),it took longer. That was a joke as the 3 guys behind my son ordered the exact same thing. So we finally got our meals, then we were asked if we needed anything else, we asked for more coff (hadn't had a refill yet), and another glass of ice tea. The coffee arrived the iced tea didn't, Then the server xcame back and asked if anything was missing - I pointed out the iced tea. Tha absolute worst experience ever at a White Spot - Never ever will we go to that location again!!!! If I could give you a 1/4 star I would!

This is the best of the White Spots in Burnaby. Service is quick. It’s a White Spot so the food isn’t going to blow your mind but they give it a good try. Kudos to them for keeping the orders flowing during peak periods. Prices are still reasonable and the potatoes are endless.

I have loved White Spot since I was a young girl. I have to say though that this was not a great dine in experience. From the first interaction to the last with our server it was flat. I was served a beverage that was not full and it was never refilled. I was also served cold french fires as my order sat ready for close to 5 mins before our server brought our food out. I will not return to this location again. I am very unhappy with the service, one of my friends has a gluten allergy and wanted to order a gluten free bun for her burger only to be told that it would be cooked in the same toaster as the wheat buns, instead they gave her a very sloppy lettuce wrap. My Monty Mushroom Burger had the flavor i love but it was cold and the bread soggy.

Great food and friendly staff. Their milkshakes are one of the best I've had. Food quality is consistent with their chain of restaurants. You can also order online for pick up. Breakfast is nice too.

Normally we like White Spot, but on two occasions at this location we've found non-food items in our food, (little bits of plastic or food wrapping). We were treated well on the first occasion, but the second time it was somewhat dismissed, which is a shame as the service was otherwise good and the food was up to the usual White Spot standards.

We went here just after 7pm. There were 6 of us at the table and it took an hour and a half to get our food. It looked like the dinner rush was dying down so it wasn't very busy. That being said, the food we ordered was great. Too long of a wait if you have young kids.

It's unfortunate that one must provide a star to post a review, because this place deserves zero. Let's start from the beginning: -Online order placed for a party of 7. -Team member went to pick up the order; while checking everything was inputted correctly in the system, the host indicated that he would bring the food over to her car when it was complete, essentially ushering her out of the restaurant. Separating the meals and consumption: -Yam fries provided instead of normal fries. No one asked for yam fries. The box indicates that the fries come with special "secret" Triple O's sauce, and it came with nothing. I guess the secret sauce is that there is no sauce. Surprise, surprise. -Clearly indicated that one salad was supposed to be caesar salad and not garden salad. Lo and behold, it is a garden salad and not a caesar salad. Salad also came with a stem - lovely! -Ordered drinks with the meals; no drinks provided. -Special note was given that we have a member allergic to nuts. She gets an allergic reaction to her food. Here's the kicker: -The bag clearly indicates a sticker that says the preparation and packaging is spot checked by "insert name." No name was put down there. Either the spot checker was a coward to put their name down, or it wasn't spot checked at all. Note to the restaurant: -Maybe next time someone wants to stay at the till to ensure everything gets inputted correctly, you LET THEM instead stick around instead of ushering them out. -Specifically asked for the bill that gives a breakdown of everything that was ordered and was only provided the total payment. Hmm... I wonder why they did that?

Always been a fan of the whole drive in diner experience. This would be a great and affordable date and/or catch up with a friend! Set up your phone to watch a show together while you eat in your car! It’s so cool how it’s all prepared on a long table that fits perfectly in your car and in front of you. Try the blueberry milkshake, it’s my favourite! (Unless your allergic to blueberries and are lactose, then don’t please).

Eggs benny and chicken n waffles were standard. Chicken was breaded but not really crispy. Only 1 piece of chicken so value wasn't great. Eggs benny properly executed as expected. Overall a good experience but not something to go out of the way for. Long wait (quoted 15mins but we waited for 20mins) so if you're hungry be mindful of that.

Seating took longer than expected, with several parties being bumped ahead of us. The host didn't say anything to us after confirming our party (of 2). Server and then Food took a long time, and when it came mods weren't respecting and several hairs were found on the plate - unfortunately, after eating most of it. Server never checked in about how our food tasted - it was warm at best, and the fries were old. The milkshake I'd ordered with everything else, having asked it to com with the meal, didn't get to the table until after I finished my burger. We were overcharged on the pasta. The service was abysmal; our server couldn't even say goodbye on our way out. Best bit of service was the manager when he happened to walk by and ask how our meal was going

Your standard white spot fare. Sometimes I’m in the mood for their mushroom burger and their zucchini sticks. Checked out their lougheed location - it’s a little dark but they’re open! It was quite busy over the lunch hour but did not wait too long for a booth. I ordered the mushroom burger with fries, and added the classic plate (four zoo sticks and Caesar salad). Nothing too “wow” about it, but it hits the spot!

Nice and cozy seating in the main area. There's an auxiliary wing, that's a good deal brighter during the day, but considerably less hygge in the evening, comparatively speaking. The food is decent, and the pirate ship food containers are pretty popular with kids under 7. Friendly service rounds out a restaurant that doesn't disappoint overall. Prices are on the slightly higher side for the quality of food.

Standard whitespot, usually less busier than the other whitespots around town. Service was a little bit slow but pretty attentive. The burgers are amazing as usual, however the salad (spot salad?) was very underwhelming, the lettuce was soggy and not crisp at all, the coleslaw was alright though. Washrooms are clean and well kept, there is a big parking lot, i've personally have never seen the lot full or busy, but ymmv.

The waitress was fantastic while we were here. But the actual restraunt and food were not up to the usual level you get from White Spot. The waiting room between outside and the restraunt was cozy and warm while we waited to be seated on a busy night. But the actual restraunt was freezing to the point where others not in downfilled jackets were cold. The food was also barely luke warm and the flavor was not there. Not sure if it was just an off night, or the location it self.

Mom & I hadn't been to the Car Service at White Spot in years so we decided to try it since we couldn't eat inside & the food would go so cold by the time we got home. It was so so good & tasty. Omg I had forgotten how awesome it was to eat in the Car Service. The food was nice & piping hot, made to perfection, & I even enjoyed my childhood favorite the Ice Cream Float. The Legendary Combo tasted 100% better being served on the tray in the Car. Nothing was just warm or cold, Each & everything we ordered was just perfect. Even the fries with the gravy stayed perfectly hot right till the end of our meal. Excellent customer service, Fantastic burger, the best Ice-cream float money can buy, Double breaded crispy Onion rings that tasted out of this world. Normally I hate double breaded cause it becomes to hard to eat & enjoy, yet these Onion rings were devine from start to finish. Pricing was responsible, the time it took to place our order & us being served was great. Before I forget in my excitement, the Salted Caramel Ice cream on a Brownie is to die for. If you folks have never had burgers like the old days in a drive in Car Service I highly recommend it. You will be in love with White Spots all over again. Good luck Karima

They Made It Right! I ordered a Legendary with two add-ons, and friend ordered a basic Legendary. They got both orders wrong. But when I said they were not as ordered, they did both orders Fresh and Correct! All in all, mistakes happen, and it was made right and satisfactory. I'll be going back to them when I want a great burger. As an aside, the server knew how to properly make a cup of tea!

Terrible service at the Drive In lot. Waited 15 minutes to place an order and finally went to the staff door to get it 25 minutes later, for just 2 desserts. The manager said he wanted to do something for me and he would be back to my car in 2 secs. Several more minutes go by, I drove off and get home to find I'd been served frozen apple ie with a side of melted ice cream.

A favourite BC restaurant for burgers and fish and (endless) fries. Decent staff and service, though on a typical Sunday evening there's a 15 minute wait to be seated. The cook staff had trouble differentiating between crispy and browned fries, so the "endless fries" don't really represent much value.

You already know what you are getting before you step in the door. For me, I changed it up, got the salmon burger. Wowza! Cooked to perfection, tasty salmon, still moist, not overcooked. Truly a loving cook in that kitchen. Only problem is I got my food to go, otherwise I would have liked to have met the chef.

In copmparison price food to quantity of food on the plate the ratio it's not adding up aside from the food is good and all but I think 16 dollar for a dinner and the food bearly was enough to full you up !

Pretty busy in this location on weekend the service is good and the food is better than other family restaurant in term of quality and presentation. Of course the price tag is different but not that much. The kids meal price is just about like MacDonald with free refill on the drink. Since my kids already want to go back some other times. I believe I'm happy about it.

Our guests from the Yukon, requested a Whitespot experience. They arrived at 8 pm, were seated right away and ordered drinks and appetizers. Only after this, were they informed, they had rum out of steak, pork, rice, broccoli and cheese and fettuccini. Common curtesy would have been to have been informed of this prior to ordering the drinks and appetizers. No one ate what they went there to eat. We were offered free dessert as compensation. You could imagine our surprise when we were informed only one free dessert was being offered by management. Very disappointing.

I went here earlier in the summer and the service was fairly disappointing, it took about 10 minutes to be greeted and it took even longer for our water to arrive. I wasn’t going to write a review but I was told from a friend about the unprofessionalism at this location as well. They had to wait well over an hour past the meeting time for their interview, then were told they would be given the job, only to be told a few days later that they will not be given the position anymore (they had already bought pants needed for the job). It baffles my mind that any business can be run like this, truly dissatisfied.

I used to go to this location very often. Alas, it’s gone downhill. I find that service that’s more time than I do doing a 1 km run, that’s slow. And they don’t even show any smiles when serving customers, which is essential for tips. Otherwise, the food is still good and everything hasn’t changed much.

The place has a big potential to be much better. The food was ok, but drinks & desserts, no! The apple pie wasn’t fresh at all, tasted like a frozen pie got warmed in a microwave! Drinks left back because it didn’t taste good. Staff were friendly and responsive though.

But the server looked very busy and hurried and we spent about 15 mins waiting to be acknowledged or have a drink order taken. The food is very good but that's to be expected with a restaurant chain. I'll go back to Whitespot, but I'll avoid this location.

We ONLY go there when someone gives us gift cards but we will regift them in the future.

I just experienced the worst service I've ever had at a Whitespot. It took almost 10 minutes for a server to come take our order. No water or anyone coming to take our drink order during that time. The food was slow in coming and my burger and fries were dry. Combine that with a smoking hot plate means my food sat under the heat lamp a while. Waited again for the bill, which I had to ask for, and when I tried to get another server to take my cash payment, she refused and told me that my server would take it. Of course, she was MIA for 15 or more minutes, which is why I asked the other server. I've been here for breakfast and I've never had such terrible service. Could it be that the evening staff is sub par?

Today the service was slow food was luke warm at best and the onion rings were over cooked to a deep dark brown. You would think onion rings should have onions in them too not onion skin where you couldn't bite through them. At least the mushrooms in the mushroom burger were cooked well but then again how could you screw that up.

Come here only if you want your time and money wasted - atrocious service, infuriatingly slow, marginal food, orders wrong, checks wrong. It took 30 minutes before we finally hailed someone to get us water and take orders. An HOUR and fifteen minutes before getting our food. And when they finally served the food, they screwed it up. Had to redo orders. Cue more waiting. When we finally get the bills, multiple had incorrect extra charges on them. For this kind of price point, I'm sorry, but this place is a disgrace.

I attended for brunch this afternoon for 2 people. The level of service from our server was quite unsatisfactory. Not once did she stop by to ask how everything was upon receiving the meal nor offer a refill on coffee. The smashbrowns were stale and in order to get a replacement I had to flag down a hostess. I attend whitespot regularly because I can normally rely on a certain level of quality and service. To say the least that wasn't received today.
