Beautiful conservation area with lots of wild Deer! A must visit in Thunder Bay.

Came out here to have a walk and catch up with an old friend I dad not talked to in years. The scenery is great. The trails in awesome condition and the park I g ample it was a perfect place to catch up with an old friend. We were here for at least 3 hours. Watched a mite boarder, watched lots of water fowl with young ones and even seen a couple of deer. Loved it

Get outside of the city without getting outside of the city. Great short walking trails with interesting views and opportunities to spot wildlife. People seem to like taking there dogs out walking here and there are some paved trails that are more wheelchair and stroller friendly.

The water at the end of the boardwalk is shallow enough to walk almost out to the first island! Beautiful place with views of Mt. McKay, Pie Island, the Sleeping Giant and more. People were kite-surfing out there today and the warm breeze was just perfect.

It's a fantastic location with a view of the Gaint. There are trails to follow, so you can go for a walk with your friends and dog, or you can sit alone and enjoy the peace and quiet the surroundings provide. You'll see a lot of deers along the way

Roadtrip. Mission Marsh conservation area was our first glimpse at Lake Superior. Place has a great view point over the lake, plenty parking space, public washrooms, walking trails. Area looked secluded with only few people taking walk there besides us. We've seen a few deer in the area. Nice place to stretch legs and breeze some clean air. I wanted to swim there, touched the water and quickly changed my mind. Not a Caribbean Sea, good to look at, but cold on touch.

Nature at its best. Nice hiking and high probability to see a wild deer or maybe even a pelican in the summer. Great destination to take a bicycle or a motorcycle to. Popular spot for lovers to park and watch a full moon.

I love this place. Alot of changes at Mission Marsh. The boardwalk is almost completely destroyed by the wave action and the rise of Lake Superiors water level.The shore line has been in some areas completely changed from just a year ago.

Off the beaten track in Thunder Bay. Bit of a drive beyond the big box section of the city. Vistas are amazing (when looking towards the lake. It is close to factories, but separated by a river. Great views of the Sleeping Giant. Would have been a five star rating, if I had seen at least one deer.

Great place for a walk in the day. At night, wouldn’t want to be there with what them whipper snappers are doing in their cars. Happen to accidentally look into some’s vehicle at night and odds are you’ll see nothing monstrosity to your eyes. I’m just a victim.
