What and adventure! We had to stop in town over night, and thought we would explore in the morning. There were birds everywhere! Right at the front of the path two little Chickadees landed on me and my girlfriend's hands! It was a lovely little spot, featuring a variety of birds.

There is a beautiful walking trail and board walk across the swampland. This isn't a large trial system or anything, but it is really nice right in the city for walk. I go through here often to see the birds, relax, and see the scenery.

It is a beautiful place to walk and enjoy the scenery without being too much into the woods. They have big fields to play or bring your dog to play.

Amazing park and it has a small trail ( Loop ) around the park. Thousands of geese and duck can be seen. It has a small amphi theater and picnic benches near the parking lot. Good place to have a small break , walk or dog walk. We visited on a saturday day morning and it was empty.

Awesome place to see all of the beautiful things Mother Nature has to offer. The only complaint I have is the entrance is awful! Large pot holes everywhere. This is one of Sudbury's finest areas to visit with lots of trails and breathtaking views of the lake and wildlife. The entrance should reflect that.

Nice little place for a short easy walk. Looks like a favourite place for locals too. With a little playground for kids too. We saw beaver, mallards and geese. We were passing by Sudbury and came here just to check it out. From the tourist standpoint, this place is nice but not interesting nor exciting, hence the 3 star.

This place is great for big events,going hiking and a beautiful place to take photos. Going there in the spring to watch and feed the ducks in the nearby pond is always a fun pass time. I've been there for a family reunion where there were a couple hundred people and I've been there for a private photoshoot where no one was around. This area is a very versatile venue.

I always came here as a child with my dad to feed the ducks, definitely one of my favorite spots in Sudbury. The walk is really nice! Bring bird seed, you can feed the chickadees too!

I loved Fielding when I was child and I still love it as a senior. I don't feed the birds bread anymore because its harmful for them but it's still a lovely experience to be in a bird sanctuary where birds are loved and protected. I particularly like to visit the trumpeter swans. I'm grateful to the people who created this sanctuary and the birders who maintain it.

It's a pretty place to take a walk but some areas around the lake get pretty smelly due to the sewage that used to get dumped in the lake for many decades.

This is an unique place where you can see a varied display of birds and other animals. You have plenty of water sources wherein you can see varieties of fishes. You can also see turtles in the water and sometimes crossing the road. The road which crosses the area also bears warning boards showing that the turtles cross the road and you have to travel with care.

Great parking area. Nice flat hiking trails with 2 lookouts to view the ducks and swans that populate the lake. Trans Canada trail runs through the park so you can extend your walk either to the east towards Southview drive or to the west to Fielding park.

Fielding Bird Sanctuary/Park is the perfect escape from an afternoon away from the city. The perfect walking/biking trail, along with a full playground and of course the birds! Kids love it and we adore the serenity!

Didn't see many birds, but the walk was lovely. There was an older couple having sex in their car across from the playground though, while there was some sort of summer camp using the playground, so that took a little from the ambiance.

Beautiful walking paths Dogs welcome as long as you stoop and scoop! The up close encounters with the wildlife are amazing make sure you bring peanuts for the chipmunks! They also have a wonderful venue that you can rent.

I love this park for its trails, the wild life, and the many different spots along the trails that are absolutely beautiful! All year round people bring bird feeders, and refill them, so bring food for the animals ofbyiur going out! Someone also decorates at christmas down all the trails! The ducks, and swans are a fun time for the kids to feed along your trek! It is well maintained, and accessible to everyone!

Though we went for the birds, we stayed (and came back the next day of our vacation) for the chipmunks. Lol A beautiful park. Nice walking trails. Park for the kids to burn some energy. And beautiful flowers. We downloaded an app called (seek) and if you take pictures of various plants and critters it gives you information about them.
