Topsail Island has a fine-gravel trail, which is good for walking, running, and biking during 3 seasons--rain or shine. A beaver lodge is trailside, and there are lots of trees downed by beavers.

Great place to go with the family. The paths around the park, the playground equipment for the kids, and the waterfront make for a great day at the park. With the addition of the splash pad soon it will make for the perfect destination on those extra hot summer days we know too well. Overall a great place for people of all ages and if you've never been I'd definitely recommend checking it out on a nice day.

It's a very nice park. But! Too many geese and droppings everywhere. You can't walk on the trails or the grass without stepping on it and yet there are signs to pick up after your dog. I know you can't stop the geese from coming there but Constant park maintenance.should be the norm.

awesome place. there is 5 different parks for kids of all ages!! The bike trails are well cared for. there are flowers and a greenhouse to check out for free! there is also a dog friendly area, a lighthouse and water front to walk along. All in all this park is Sault ste maries' treasure. don't pass this park by. a definite BEAUTIFUL TREASURE!!!!!

It was my most favourite place in the Soo to go to, next to the lock canal. There's a creek that weaves through the park where many Canada geese, ducks, and pigeons congregate. There is also Topsail Island where some of the townsfolk walk their dogs. At the south end, you can see the Sugar Island ferry across the border, do its back and forth runs between Sugar Island, and Soo Michigan.

Bellevue Park is a favorite for kids and adults alike with many brand new walking and biking trails, play equipment for the kids including a play area especially for children with sensory perception differences. A newly opened splash pad is also available for summer fun! Some of the playground equipment has been out of order or awaiting parts for a long time. The greenhouse is still closed to guests due to Covid 19

Found this gem of a park after a local recommended it. Beautiful park setting with splash pad for the kids, wide biking/walking paths and lovely tall trees throughout. I wasn't there long but will return with my bike to get a better look around. Great for everyone.

A lot of fun for the kids. Has three regular playgrounds plus a sensory playground. The new splash pad was a hit. There is a beautiful garden and an interesting greenhouse. A lot of space to walk around and see all the birds. Beautiful waterfront. The only trouble is all the goose poop all over the grass. The concession stand is really pricey as well.

Bellevue park is always a great place to stop. It has a great view of the river, but has lots of features within its boundaries as well. The off-leash dog park, greenhouse, bandstand, and ever-changing playgrounds are all good stops. Tons of open space to simply enjoy a beautiful day as well.

Splash pad and good playground equipment for kids. Clean maintained washrooms. Lots and lots of picnic tables and benches all over the park. Beautiful greenhouse on site you can visit. Lots of staff maintain the park wonderfully,grass is well trimmed and not a lot of garbage all over the place. The sailing club and Topsail island are accessible from the same parking lot. Topsail island is a great place for a walk to view the water. Bellevue also connect to the Pine St Marina by a really nice walking trail.

This place is HUGE! It is a multiphasatied part of the community. You can view summer movies at the band shelter with a nice comfy grassy hill to stretch out on under the moon. There is a park with sensory toys and musical instruments. A new splash pad makes fun all summer long. Geese love to hang out and eat seads and crumbs and there is even a off leash dog park area. Overall this park offers setting for everyone and is a true gem.

It was nice. There was a guy using a metal detector and my wife asked if it was a battery powered weed whacker because it was so quiet. The park would get 5 stars but that question lost a star for the park, as I feel that question would only get asked at bellevue park. Also i got pretty good video of one of those huge woodpeckers so that was alright.

Worst intersection in this city!! So many pedestrians, seniors and small children, fighting traffic to get to Bellevue park! Was there from 3:30 6:30 today...a motorcycle almost crashed into a car. Why? No crosswalks and no stop lights. I guess spending over a hundred grand on a big rubber ducky is more important than providing safe passage into a park all taxpayers pay for, whether they use it not. So, if you get there safely, great place for kids...no shade around play areas, so bring hats and drinks.

Some new improvements to Topsail Isle. In the park. New pavement, that is nice and wide, has replaced the old narrow path that once circled the outer limits of the Island. The kids waterpark is also nice for the youngsters.

Lovely waterfront park with multiple different play structures and a splash pad. It even has a large merry-go-round which are hard to come by these days in parks in Ontario. The miniature zipline-like glider is especially fun. Nice trail to walk if you’re not up for the playgrounds, lot’s of geese! The washrooms were clean. Overall definitely happy I stopped here while passing through the Sault.

Enjoyed a walk through here today with my dog. Couldn't believe how Topsail Island (aka Beaver Point) has been developed. What a great place for a stroll with your sweetheart, kids or pet, a picnic or just to grab a coffee and sit on a bench and watch the big boats go by. This park is quite large with a very cozy feel and one of the most beautiful views of Lake Superior. The greenhouse is an added treat open even in the winter, acting as a mini tropical oasis surrounded by walking trails, splash pad, playgrounds, duck ponds and so much more.

Loved the park, but unhappy with all the off lead dogs, or dogs on a leash but dragging it (and I'm not talking about top sail, I mean in the regular part of the park). I wish there was more enforcement re: the leash bylaw. I love dogs, I have one, and would appreciate being able to walk her safely in the park, which means not having to worry about off leash dogs approaching us, friendly or not, the dog is not under control and it scares my dog who has been attacked before.

This is a really nice, large and well maintained park in east end Sault Ste Marie. The park has a splash pad, for kids, a nice full green house and has playgrounds and a duck pond. There are also several paved paths for a leisurely walk or ride that pass through and connect to Bellevue Marina. It runs right along side the St Marys river so there is always an excellent view.

Bellevue is a great place to bring the kids to play on any one of several playgrounds. Pack a lunch and picnic in the East part of the park (the geese tend to steer clear of this area so you aren't dodging their droppings). The addition of the splash pad has the park busier than ever.

Beat park in sault ste Marie could use some touch ups finally getting a splash pad there took long enough also use to have a zoo its gone now and use to be good with the zoo but publicnrestrooms and ice creamn shop there with drinks too lots of wild birds duck geese segals beware of poop and segauls stealing food lol also have green house

Really nice park for kids of all ages! So many different play areas and nice pic nic areas. My 2 year old had a blast and loved feeding the ducks and geese at the duck pond. We even saw some baby ducklings and turtles. Highly recommend this park!

It has something for everyone of all ages! Walking, bike riding, views of the Soo Locks for the Freighters, and you see many freighters, especially in the summer. There are many sections and levels of kids activity areas including a splash pad, and a fabulous play area for children who need more desensitizing.

Great park for kids, lots of ducks and geese. We brinf birdseed for the ducks all the time. Helps keep the seagulls from swarming for bread. Several playground areas varying from toddler to teen in activity level. Awesome greenhouse, movie nights in the summer, and great views right on the waterfront! Lots of paved and non paved paths for jogging or wheelchair access too.

I love walking my dog in Bellevue Park but really wish the geese population could be restricted to one area of the park. Their droppings take away from the pleasure and ease of enjoying the park especially with young children. There should be a few swans introduced to control the large geese population. Other than that, it is a wonderful recreation spot! Great job!

Park is beautiful. The playgrounds and splash area are the best I ever seen in Canada, the only disappointment was the green house. It was small and very crowded with plants.
