Dog park (off Bright St.) was wonderful. The area is clean and well maintained one side for the small dogs and one for the big dogs. Only issue was one picnic table, would like to see another one (or two), on the outside of the fenced area.

Has a very nice garden area that is clean and well kept. It is a little smaller than I thought but it has a good variety of flowers and plants. Some of the paths could be built up a little or paved as there was a few muddy patches. There are also multiple sports fields and a fenced in dog park at a separate parking lot around the corner. The dog park could use a little more shade.

Beautiful relaxing place. My grand kids enjoy the play ground there. I enjoyed sitting under a shade tree and watching the kids play. I also enjoyed watching all the dogs run and play in the off leash dog area. It was quite peaceful and relaxing.

Lots of open space to enjoy the fresh air. A long, wide, paved walkway stretches across the park from east to west. There is a nice playground area with swings, climbers and slides for kids of all ages. Plenty of awesome ball diamonds, 2 with lighting for night games and a seasonal concession/restroom facility. Several soccer fields and nets of various sizes for players of various age groups. Two dog walking areas for large and small dogs and a cool little artsy garden area with many pagodas, decks, seating rocks and jet plane memorial. A lawn bowling facility with 2 play areas, 4 fenced in tennis courts and plenty of greenspace, both open and shaded are also found here. A beautiful flower garden/nursery with winding paths throughout that is simply gorgeous in spring/summer greets you at the west entrance to the park. Sad to see the arena closed but still an absolute gem in the heart of the city.

Playground review: An older playground, but don't let that fool you. They don't make them like this anymore. All metal playgrounds can take some serious abuse and still be around for years. The monkey bars are high enough for big kids (even adults) which is great. Swings are nice and high. Great time with the kids.

For such a small size, there is a lot of stuff in this park, like multiple baseball diamonds, tennis courts, and playground equipment among other things. The problem is that I have come across a few syringes while walking through the park and lots of shady stuff seems to happen there at night.

It's fine, as parks go. Very hard to fine, if you haven't been there before. Also, it is a very large park and has disparate parking lots that are not connected. One end of park doesn't have any washrooms.

We love exploring the gardens year round, I often take clients here for photos. In fact its one of the most popular places in town for photos. I got my own prom and wedding photos done here. There is an albino squirrel that lives here and is quite the city spectacle. We are usually just biking through as the park is a major connector trail for us, and see him. My son also plays baseball here.

Nicely maintained park that hosts multiple soccer pitches, baseball diamonds tennis courts and I believe a lawn Bowling court. The courtyard boasts a small trail which you can walk through with flowers and bushes within!

It's nice but underutilized. That old arena could be turned into a community sports complex. Indoor running track around a turf field. Get rid of that back baseball field that is useless and you have room for parking. Sarnia needs something like that.

The City of Sarnia has done some wonderful upgrading to the park. The fighter jet has been restored, there is a stage, Asian garden, a collection of exotic trees, and many different sports fields and play equipment. It's a popular place for wedding photography, walking, and more. There are four parking lots that allow easy access to the park. There are no washroom facilities.

Very nice park. I wouldn't say it's the nicest in the city but top 3 for sure. Lots of soccer fields, tennis courts, playgrounds, baseball diamond and a dog park. The flowers and landscaping here are top-notch in the spring/summer. Great spot for wedding or prom photos. My only negative is that this park needs fresh asphalt on the trails. Playgrounds could use a refresh as well. Other than that, great park. 4/5

Play equipment for kids, baseball diamonds, football(soccer) pitches, gardens, Lawnbowling, tennis courts, replica jet, theatre stages, paved paths for biking, scootering , rollerblading (skating), and of course 2 leash free dog parks. So much there i might have missed something but will edit if need be. There was germain skating arena &Jackson's pool but i believe they are closed for now. Just go&enjoy the central park of Sarnia,Germain Park, it's there for you. Fun is what you make& memories that will last. I have many fond memories coming here that span easily way over 30 years. Go make yours!
