One of the prettiest, well kept parks I’ve ever been too. Nice wide paths through the woods at the back of the park with several big old trees. The path leads back to Lake Margaret, which also has a walking/biking trail all around it. Several picnic tables, lots of trees and shade to setup under. a great place for a family get together. Tons of open grass space for baseball, football, etc. Acouple nice pavilions and a very popular splashpad. The park staff always plant gorgeous flower displays every year.

Pinafore Park is a St.Thomas icon. It is clean, well run, and very well maintained. We stopped by to eat our take out lunch and be see the squirrels, geese, ducks in the park. We were also surprised by a small hawk flying around looking to score a squirrel for lunch. It was entertaining to see nature at it's finest. If you haven't visited you should, if you have you should go again. It is a beautiful place.

This is a beautiful huge park, wanna go for a pleasant walk, this is the place to go. It connects to Lake Margaret via the concrete pathway through the woods. It has a splash pad adjoining the playground and plenty of places to have a picnic. Bring your fishing pole and catch a bass in Pinafore Lake!

What a great park! It is very clean and all the equipment and splash pad were big hits.

Fun for kids with great new playground. However layout is not great to be able to see kids play for those who may need to sit down (such as grandparents). No fence around playground and too many obstructions. I much prefer Waterworks or Cowan Park as their playgrounds are designed better for parents to watch their kids play and keep an eye on them at all times and watch for creepers...no obstructions. Cowan has a fence too.

This is a huge park. There's a ton of pavilions and ever a little splash pad with some small water slides and and things. It's kind of a bummer that you can only go one way around because if you accidentally pass your venue, you have to go ALL the way back around.

They've upped the ????-e on this park quite a bit over the years. I love to set up at the Bandshell and skate and as it turns out, as long as you're not destroying their property, they really don't mind. Love this park and I love my town.

Pinafore Park has a really excellent set of well-maintained playground equipment: swings, saucer swings, slides, climbers, zip tracks, and even a splash pad for really hot days. Historical note: when I was a child myself (1980's), Pinafore Park had a working steam engine that the public could take a ride on for a small fee. The train and its tracks are both gone now. If you have similar memories, don't head out to the park expecting to take a train ride! (Note on ratings: "service" doesn't really make sense in this context. The "Excellent" service refers to the cleanliness and state of repair in the playground facilities)

A great park. There is a splash pad and play area for the kids. There are covered pavilions for picnics and reunions (must pre-book). The is a Memory Garden for quiet reflection (a great area to sit and read) with a man made waterfall to help cut some of the other park noises and provide some soothing sounds. There are over 7 km of walking and biking trails within the park and around an attached Conservation Area.

I love this park any time of year. It's beautiful for all seasons of walking about. I highly recommend visiting it if you are in the area. The accompanying Shaw's Ice Cream booth located by the baseball diamonds in the rear section of the property is an amazing addition to the area. Nothing heats locally made ice cream on a hot day. Go to Pinafore Park you won't regret it!!!!

Lots of open space and shade. Good place to go and relax or participate in planned activities. It could use a splash pad and some place for adults to cool down when it gets really hot. They have pavilions that may or may not be in use. Don't remember seeing a fountain, so be sure to bring lots of liquid.

This place is stunning, absolutely beautiful. When I was younger there used to be a deer here that would come right up to the fence by the play area and you could feed it. This place was my childhood. So many good wholesome memories here. We do family photos here often. This place is large and great for fishing and picnics. In the winter they pull out all the stops and have all these beautiful pieces and light fixtures on display if you have not been here I highly recommend it. Great place for the whole family at all times of the year.

My family and I were there for family photos, and it was a perfect location, especially in the wooded areas. The grounds are well kept and is a beautiful place for pictures or going for a walk. The only downside is the amount of garbage strewn about. My only suggestion is to place more bins, especially in the wooded areas. Overall though, great place.

This is a Beautiful Park. Great for Photos and Splash pad in June. Winter time it’s nice also as it’s a different view. Christmas lights and displays by local businesses and Charities. Only place in St Thomas that have Tennis Courts. Check public use of court times before going to play. Have Fun!

This park features large open grassy areas for large group or family picnics. Pavilions are free to the public or can be rented. A splash pad and new play equipment are the most popular features of this park. There is a bacci ball area, skate park and band shell. The municipality often hosts Christmas Lights from various businesses and community groups.

Very nice park. Nice to walk around and fun for children. Parking was not a problem. Due to construction, it's little inconvenience. Washrooms in the middle were well cleaned and maintained. Port a loo near play area is ok for emergency but shall have other nice washroom near play area or in other part of park as it's hard for elderly people to walk far distance to use washroom.

What a lovely park! I absolutely love this place. Actually all my family and friends do! There is a lot of activities for all the family there. When we went there was a nice cool concert that was very entertaining. The parking lot is very close to the swings, the covered picnic area and the washrooms. The washrooms are super clean and tidy! The trail next to the lake is amazing. Many places to sit in and have a lovely picnic. You have to visit this place at least once!

Every year brings something new to Pinafore, the splash pad being one of the best additions of late. My kids love playing on the equipment and in the splash pad. There are myriad things to do over the summer and quite a few at winter as well. Pinafore has been a fixture in my life for over 40 years, from watching the circus in Emslie Field to watching the fireworks on holidays, to Christmas lights (which I hope return soon!); Pinafore has it all!

I've always loved pinafore park and the continued effort and care that they put into the park means my son gets to enjoy it too! Lovely trail to walk, and a great play area! My family also comes every year, and rents a pavilion for our family bbq!

Pinafore park is nature's best, from the well manicured landscape, garden arrangements, waterfall and the lush forestry coupled with it's all season maintained trails will definitely takes your breath away. Not to mention an array of wild animals such as deers, many bird species, a lake to fish, canoeing and a pond with turtles and several species of frogs, this is nature at it's best. Let's not forget the splash pad for kids and a newly renovated park that children will loose themselves playing all day. Pinafore park is truly an outdoor experience next to none!

The park is incredibly beautiful and well maintained by the city. We can feed squirrels, chipmunks, Bluejays, deer,..... all year round. But a major problem is that a lot of visitors use the back of the park for selling drugs, for racing their loud cars/pickups with huge mufflers and for making unnecessary noise. This destroys the friendly and old fashioned atmosphere in this place. Very sad to see !

A beautiful park with so much to offer! Small lake, bushland with a paved path that even a wheel chair can do a bush exploration. Playground and waterpark just refurbished and is fantastic. The open areas have great gardens and commemorative statues and a mixture of sun and shade. A public washroom and a several spacious picnic areas. Even on the hottest humid summer days there is generally a cooling breeze.

This is a beautiful park picturest trees and landscape. Only problem bathroom facilities are inadequate especially in winter ...Hydro scarce for those wanting to plug in crock pots to keep food warm warm while kids are playeding. Water scarce as well... Almost like the city is too cheap. Parks employees look like they are high school drop outs...That will police you for what you throw in a trash can. Although it is a pretty park..It ia a poor excuse of a park to promote tourism

It was busier than I've ever seen this week (phase 3 opening), but the park is so large my toddler and I barely felt it. The new park upgrades are really great for the kids, some things I've never seen at a kids park before, my son's 27 months and his mind was blown. Lots of tables and places to sit. We went in the morning around 1030am and again with his 9mth old brother around 430pm, it was busy but lots of parking still. I wish there was a place to park our strollers and pushers. But well worth the trip.

Pinafore Park is one of the best features of St. Thomas. The park is large with areas for almost any type of recreation. There is a baseball diamond, playgrounds, splash pads, trails, and many great gardens in this park. It borders a large pond which is great for fishing and watching wild fowl. Within the last ten years they added a memory garden to where you can relax and remember your loved ones which have passed away. The picnic pavilions and concession stand have been recently updated, and the park looks clean fresh and inviting, Great for a relax-full stroll, a picnic by the pond, or letting the kids run.

This “Park” is LE-GIT!! Many highlights, but here’s a few: -They have EIGHT tennis courts, plus EIGHT pickleball courts, in a massive, fenced in, divided up, brand new cement, benches everywhere, space! ???? For a family that loves their pickleball, this was a gem to find!! -There’s a huge baseball diamond with the biggest bleachers I’ve seen around (and my husband plays a lot of baseball.) -A large play ground for kids, with a few different play sets, and a splash pad. ???? -There are pavilions EVERYWHERE!! Some with a few picnic tables, others with ~10 or so picnic tables. Some even have an area to hook up a BBQ, etc. -There are walking paths, bridges, lovely gardens, and even a little lake (or two) right there! And I still have so much more to explore!!

It is one of the most peaceful... well kept parks.. lots of wild life.. beautiful trees.. grounds are wonderfully kept.. Nice place to spend the afternoon...Good for healing.

Loved it. A place you can go for a brisk walk around. Daily 7 days a week. Relax under a tree with a good book on a sunny day. Listen to music from the dome stage. Have your kids use the splash pads on hot sunny days. Enjoy ice cream. From the pavilion. Have special events. In winter. Just drive around enjoy the festival of lights. Enjoy the largest park in St. Thomas.

It's nice that we have a Park that is clean and well kept. I do enjoy walking and it's a nice meeting place to keep a safe distance from others at the same time being friendly and welcoming to others. Great job guys keeping pinafore in tip top condition. ????
