Interesting, cool spot that’s nearby the lavender fields. Decided to visit on a whim which was our mistake because it turns out that it’s best that you reserve. Not really English friendly because all the signs were in French but the staffs speak English. Admission price for adults is $16 which is kind of expensive in my opinion but might give it a try in the future.

Very cool to see all of the ostriches, but for a family of 5 with a 1 hour 'safari' ride, that was really just a ride out to the big ostriche enclosure, it was 90$ with taxes included and not worth it. Honestly I could think of many more ways to spend 90$ on my family.

Un peu plate comme tour. Toutefois le guide nous parle via des haut-parleurs et explique bien les choses. L'autre tour c'est à l'extérieur dans des sentiers. Tu peut toucher à une autruche à la fois, mais pas tout le corps, car elles sont nerveuses. Cette journée là je voulais acheter un œuf plein, mais il y en avait plus. Nous avons commandé un hotdog à 3.75$ et un hamburger, qui ont pris 20 minutes à faire... Sur les photos on voit des enfants prendre des autruchons, en réalité nous ne pouvons pas, la guide ne voulait pas, même ceux plus mature. Les tours d'autruches sur leur dos, c'était plein jusqu'à la fin de la saison , donc impossible de faire cette activité. Les déceptions sont au niveau du prix, trop cher pour trop peu de contenu. Ca aurait été instructif de faire le tour de toutes les installations. Par exemple la fabrication de la nourriture, les enclos des male reproducteurs, avoir des jeux, tirage de prix... Nous attendions le tracteur au mauvais endroit, à 2 mètres de l'endroit prévu à cet effet, et Viktor notre guide au tracteur a fait 5 minutes de blague la dessus, comme si notre groupe étions des cave. "ah c'est pas de votre faute, c'est pas écrit assez gros" , "faudrait mettre des traces d'autruches à terre" blablabla La viande d'autruche est très cher et le guide à la fin passe 10 minutes à tout expliquer ce qui se vend dans la boutique. Beaucoup de marketing pour vendre. Les points positifs: le parcours à pied. Tu peut entrer dans quelques enclos ou un y a une autruche dans chacune, et tu peut les flatter le corps, sauf le coup et la tête. Tu peut aller nourrir les autruches dans une autre, avec de l'herbe. Les guides parlent beaucoup, ils semblent savoir de quoi ils parlent et répondent à toutes les questions.

When we do the guided tour we can see new things like the ostrich baby that they allow us to flatter or to enter some pens with supervision of the guide to stroke an adult ostrich without risk of being bitten. We go around the place a little fast however for the price, to predict a maximum before noon or a few hours after noon. (Original) Très agréable comme activité à faire en famille. On fait le tour de l'endroit un peu rapidement cependant pour le prix, a prevoir max un avant midi ou quelques heures d'apres midi.

You'll get to pet an ostrich, see the pens where they grow up, meet a few other birds, taste some food, discover new products made with the ostriches and if you plan ahead, maybe even do a rodeo. Definitely not what I thought it was going to be- went there because my daughter saw a billboard and couldn't stop talking about it! Very educational and you really get to get up close and personal with these ostriches (ostri?) The only thing I would recommend is to not go on too hot of a day because they are pretty smelly and the heat only makes that worse (especially going in to see the babies and eggs because they are in a small confined space). Nice park for kids to play in..not really sure that it's the kind of place you visit more than once though.

The site is well maintained, but could use upgrades in the toddlers section. The safari jeep excursion at the beginning is not necessary. I find the excursion by foot was more interesting as you get to learn more about the ostriches. The tasting of ostrich meat at the end is a nice touch. We had a great outing. Super well organized even during the pandemic, we were very impressed with how they managed things, from the tractor ride to the food stand. Very entertaining for children and still interesting for adults, pleasant staff, good food, nice boutique and a nice variety of animals and nice grounds. Some people have mentioned it being expensive, but given the size of the grounds and the infrastructure we see that is needed to contain and take care of all the animals, I think it is understandable. I would definitely recommend this place as a fun, safe, family outing.

However, I consider it unthinkable to only sell (plastic) water bottles on a tourist site, in 2021 ... (Original) J'ai visité l'endroit avec mes deux filles (1 an et 3 ans) en juillet. Il est agréable d'y voir les autruches et les autruchons (ma fille de 3 ans a adoré). Pour le reste, les installations sont plus ou moins bien entretenues (un peu vieillottes). Je ne sais trop quoi penser de la balade en train (où on y voit des reconstitutions de la vie en Afrique...). Le point le plus négatif, à mon sens, est que l'endroit ne dispose pas d'eau potable. Il est alors impossible d'y remplir gobelets ou bouteilles d'eau. Le propriétaire s'en défend en disant que le gouvernement leur exige des tests d'eau et que cela est trop "cher" pour eux. Toutefois, je considère qu'il est impensable de ne vendre que des bouteilles d'eau (en plastique) sur un site touristique, en 2021...
