Walking into the park shifted gears to a deep appreciation for nature while walking towards the pavilion casted an ancient memory of beauty and honor of everything this space holds. Nature, Art and the pure beauty awareness can bring.

Wonderful place! We had a private event and it exceeded our expectations. Staff was friendly and professional. They also took special requests and made our event that much more special. The building is beautiful and clean. The artwork and (temporary) Pooh Gallery are very neat!

The Pavilion is right near the Lyric theater and on the other side use to be the fire works. This is the middle of the park.

A great free museum to wander around and a beautiful venue for a wedding. They have maps/information about the park as well if you need to get directions.

Roadtrip. Someone said earlier about waste of tax payers money....At the entrance of the pavilion is a display that indicates the names of the sponsors who invested their own money in to the Pavilion. Local people donated their time and money making this place available to all. Pavilion is a great place to hide from summer heat and enjoy Canadian art. Also...Winnie The Pooh is a legend for almost a century, and this legend belongs to Winnipeg (and White River, Ontario, of course. I will write about it later), and you can learn the story right there at the museum. Canada may be only 150 years old, but it has many great stories that place it as an equal among the countries with much older history. And places like Pavilion Gallery Museum help to tell such stories to general public, for free. True Canadian spirit at it's best. Highly recommend. At least we enjoyed it a lot.

The Pavilion at Assiniboine park is an excellent art gallery with three floors of exhibitions of both local and internationally acclaimed artists. At the moment there is a small exhibition about inspiration to Winnie the Pooh as well as several local talents. All are well worth at least an hour or so of your time.

We had our work Christmas party at The Pavilion, what my daughter calls the "castle". It was my first time there & the atmosphere was great, the food was fantastic & the venue itself was very inviting. The serving staff were all friendly & accommodating. Would definitely recommend The Pavilion for similar functions.
