So much fun! Lots of touching which is great, couple scraped knees from crawling and fun. This felt more like a fun house but had a blast! Will be coming again next year! Probably the best thing I've been to with physical contact so far although kinda short but it segregates everyone so you cant get behind someone else or fall too behind. Thanks again for the fun!

Great food and a fun leisurely experience. The corn maze was challenging since the objective was to find signs, not to get out. There's a petting zoo, tire park, bunnies, chickens, wagon rides, and a cute locally sourced shop as well. Overall a great experience.

Wow, very nice place to bring your kids and play with the animals that they see on nursery rhymes. Staff are nice and helpful. Washrooms are always nice and clean. Come in early tho, coz lunch time if too hot for your kids and animals to play with. They will be hiding on the shades. Oohh I forgot they also have a wagon ride and you get to experience close up with the deers. Anyways so much fun on the farm, when the kids are tired you can bring them on the shade they have picnic tables and buy some ice cold lemonade or freezeee they have on the shop.

Head a lovely time with the kids. Visited animal Alley where we met the goats, rabbits chickens and the cows. It was a cold day but the farm was great! A good corn maze and a trailer ride through the forest to the deer too!

Deer Meadow Farms is a wonderful excursion that's very inexpensive. There's a great range of pets in the petting zoo and the tractor ride to see the deer was very nice. Overall, great experience in Manitoba, would recommend!

I had such a great time. Go early and get some farm fresh eggs. Make sure that's the first thing you do if you want some, buy them and put them in your car and then do all the fun stuff. This place is so well organized, the staff are fabulous. They are so accommodating for families with littles and super littles. The corn maze is great, the tractor ride to see the deer was fun, the petting farm was fun. Just a great way to enjoy the day! Go!

my sister, nephews and i had an awesome time at deer meadows farm. none of us had been there before and although there was lots to do, we did everything twice. the boys had so much fun, and the guides interacted with them so well; asking if they know anything about the animals that they could “teach” the guides about, asking if they remember the the etiquette around the animals and then praising them when they did or reminding them gently when they did not. we got to see a baby fawn (just a few hours long) learn how to walk which i don’t think i will ever see again. it was a really special place to be. also the treats at the barn were so reasonably priced that it wasn’t a hassle to buy the boys ice cream after such a great day.

What a wonderful experience! The staff were friendly and amazing with young children, the animals were kind and fun to interact with. The wagon train to the Fallow Deer preserve was a great experience, and on a hot day it was wonderful to ride through a forest and get to enjoy some shade. Definitely recommend, will absolutely be going back!

I loved that they offer the tour to watch deers. You can not pet the animals and have to stay in your wagon during the tour. But the guide gives enough time to observe the deers and answer your questions. This year the farm offered Pokemon themed corn maze for kids, which my children enjoyed a lot. I also played their kids mini golf, bought some pumpkins and took pictures in the pumpkin patch. They also have a tire playground, larger corn maze and haystacks to play in. Price is reasonable and there are many different activities to do as a family.

Super great place to take the family. You can see and pet so many animals, you can go for a "tractor ride" and see some really unique deer and you can get the kids tuckered out by walking through the corn maze. It has a cute area to have drinks and food and it has a little gift shop with some locally made things to buy.

Went for the Haunted Forest which was great, we had a lot of fun. However, was so sad to see the conditions the rabbits are kept in. 3 left outside in cold weather in a small wire bottom cage... these cages break my heart for the rabbits as the wires are painful and can cause ulcerations on their soft feet. It's a cruel form of cage... I sincerely hope Deer Meadow rethinks the way they house their rabbits, and keep them inside on freezing nights... or rather just not keep rabbits at all. Being a prey animal they're easily frightened and I can't imagine they enjoy kids poking at them all day. I don't think we'll be back because of this.

It was a great day, but we had to take great efforts of our own to be Covid-19 safe. There were probably a hundred people at the farm today and we were literally the only three wearing masks and maintaining 2 metre distance. None of the staff wore masks. None of the guides ensured guests kept their distance while waiting in lines or petting animals. We had to tell people to backup while we were taking our turn petting animals. But the animals were cute and seemed well cared for. It’s a nice facility.

Having never been to Deer Meadows Farms, I was impressed with the amount of things to do... the animals are always a blast with the kids, and the hay stack was fun to climb... the corn maze was especially fun to play hide and seek in, even with the older kids. can't wait to go again! Great time with the kids! I was pleasantly surprised with the sheer number of things there are to do. It was refreshing to see that while the animals are core to the experience (the deer are beautiful), they are not the only focus. Little things like the tire play pit and the duck race are not just filler areas but are actually fun. Bean bag toss and mini golf are a good change of pace. The crowd started thinning out after 4pm which is when it was more enjoyable. The only call out would be that this place is perhaps 'too nice' for an actual farm and it probably doesn't depict 'farm life' if that's what someone was interested in. To us this was not a concern. Nice staff, clean enclosures, good value for money, lots to do!

Very overpriced! $15 for adults and $13 for kids and no family discount. Also the pumpkins are expensive, 75 cents per pounds. Normally if a farm has entry fee at least the produce is cheaper than stores. Here both entry and pumpkins are overpriced. I don't think we will be back next year.

They have a great corn maze there, animals are amazing and food is delicious. Im not sure if there's a reason for this linked to covid or something, but they don't have the hay bails this year which was slightly disappointing but other than that, its a great place to go with friends or family.

My 18 month old son and I had the best time at Deer Meadow Farms on Wednesday! The staff were so friendly and amazing. There was lots to do as well! All the animals were so friendly and cute, we enjoyed petting them and feeding them grass so much! If you sit on the ground in the chicken coop they come and peck you (it doesn't hurt lol) the one chicken really liked the laces on my running shoes. It was very handy to have a change table very accessible and a covered place to eat or get out of the sun. It was nice to have activities for older kids and adults as well as different activities for much younger kids including a smaller corn maze. I think my son's favorite part, besides the animals, was the tire mountain/sand pit. It was a combination of huge tractor tires to climb over/under and a sand box/pit. Some were so big you could climb right in them like a fort. They had some huge tires laying on there side and full of sand to make individual sand boxes as well as a huge sand pit with construction trucks to play with. It was also a nice spot for me to sit down and rest well my son played on his own and with other children :p. We were able to bring our own lunch and snacks in which I appreciated but since we lost track of time, I realized we had been there for over 3 hours haha I got us a treat at the congestion stand before heading home. A nice cold drink and chips really hit the spot. I got myself a loaded burger (because I normally eat what he doesn't and he actually ate all his food so I didn't pack anything extra for me) and I will tell you it was probably one of the best burgers I have ever had! It was so fresh and delicious!! Lovely crisp lettuce, perfectly melted cheese, fresh patty. I should have got 2 lmao. Definitely coming again and bringing more family and friends next time! Thank you for all your hard work Deer Meadow Farms!! I appreciate you ❤

My toddler and I love going to Deer Meadows all spring, summer and fall. We stay 2-3 hours each time. They have goats, chickens, bunnies, calf's, and lambs to pet, a tire playground with sandbox toys and a swing, duck races, corn hole, frontier land with a scavenger hunt, corn maze and a wagon ride which takes you through the deer reserve to see the deer up close. They are putting in mini gift too! For Halloween they have an event for kids during the day and an awesome, scary walk through for adults at night. This place is a gem! Staff are friendly and knowledgeable.

We had a really great time here. Took our son, who is almost 2, and we happened to plan to go when they were offering a free breakfast too. Great sausages, really fun to see the goats, lambs, cow, pigs, chickens, rabbits, and also do the tractor ride to see the Deer. Our kid had fun running around and touching the different animals, and it was a nice way to spend a morning. I would recommend checking it out a couple times a year.

We visited Deer Meadow Farms today and had an excellent time! We interacted with many staff and they were all very informative, helpful and fun. There were no lines or waiting and when my son fell and scratched his knee and hand staff rushed to help. We picked berries, visited the farm animals and saw the most beautiful deer. It was truly wonderful experience!

I cannot say enough good things about Deer Meadow Farms or the owners. My husband and I just got married this past October and when our original wedding plans fell through due to Covid we decided to have a much smaller wedding. My husband and I had taken our church youth group to Deer Meadow Farms on many occassions and thought it would be perfect place for our small country wedding. The owners were absolutley incredible at ensuring our day went smoothly and went above and beyond to help us out. (This included adding a railing to stairs to the loft and hiring an electrician to ensure the lights were dimmable for our mini reception.) Our photos on the grounds were beautiful. The staff there were so friendly and accommodating. I would 100% reccomend them for a day outing to see the animals, and evening in the corn maze, or for your event or wedding.

What a great place to take younger kids and be outside! I had my 8yo birthday party there and it was perfect. Many different activities for them to do; tire climbing area, corn mazes, wagon ride to see deer, and more. Not sure if older kids would be interested, except for the big corn maze, which was really well laid out. The staff was so friendly and helpful! The kids really liked petting the rabbits and all.the other animals at the petting zoo; goats, sheep, chickes and more!

if i could give less than 1 star i would. i went to Deer Meadow Farms specifically to see the rabbits and i was excited for over a week. i have 2 of my own and thought it would be fun to see how other rabbits act. when i finally found the rabbit exhibit, it seemed like a nice little play pen for them. when i looked inside, every single rabbit was in a tiny cage that is NOT meant for a rabbit, every cage was covered in feces and urine, and none of the rabbits had proper watering stations or hay to eat. i am extremely disappointed in what i saw and left immediately while crying. i will not be returning to deer meadow farms and encourage others to research a more animal friendly way to spend time with your family. i do not understand why deer meadow farms has a “rabbit exhibit” when they clearly do not take care of them properly. i wanted to take every single rabbit home. most of the rabbits didn’t even have shelter. still upset about this.

We normally really love to bring our toddler here pre covid. I brought her today and I must say I was super disappointed with the measures taken....people didn’t social distance AT ALL when visiting the animals and staff didn’t say anything. We went on the tractor ride and were happy to share one wagon with another family because we sat on opposite sides....a last minute family came and the driver allowed them even though you could tell ALL wagons were full....they joined ours and sat in the space that separated the 2 families. We were super uncomfortable and angry that a) they were allowed on b) none of the staff ever looked out or commented on social distancing c) that family for being dis-respectful I truly should’ve spoken up or just got off but I was honestly just so shocked. This is a family friendly place with lovely staff and cute animals but I didn’t feel safe with covid and will not be returning.

I went to this place on September 26th 2021, with my wife and 2 year old daughter. The entrance price was 15 dollars per adult and my child (under 3 years) was free. I was impressed at the variety of things to look at and activities to do. There is an awesome petting zoo with free range chickens, sheep, a mini horse, cow, and goats. There's outdoor games (cornhole, mink golf, etc.). There's a jungle gym made of tires. A bunny snuggling station. A wagon ride to go see deer that they keep in the forest on site, and more! The place was clean, well staffed, and efficiently run. Staff were friendly and seemed happy to be there. My daughter loved it, and I can tell that she will love it and get different things out of the experience as we continue to visit this place in the years to come. Intially I was put off by the steep price tag, but it is obvious that the money is being put to great use here, as this place has grown in scope in ambition from the first time I visited several years ago. I totally recommend this place as a great source of some wholesome entertainment, and it's great for families. Although the price tag is steep, you can feel good knowing that your money is being lovingly reinvested into the business and not just lining the owners pockets. We'll definitely be making this place part of our yearly traditions in my young family.

We really enjoyed the tractor ride to visit the fallow deer who appear to have a wonderful life. We also enjoyed the various games and activities that had been laid on. I was worried about the welfare of the domestic farm animals though. The baby goats had no shelter on what was a sweltering day. The rabbits also had inadequate shelter from the sun and were on artificial grass (not good for their sensitive paws) in pretty barren enclosures. A baby calf only a few weeks old was alone in an enclosure away from other cows including it's mother and was subjected to petting from small children. It's hard not to believe that their welfare was secondary to the entertainment value they provided. We were asked to wash our hands and sanitize frequently but nearly all of the dispensers were either empty or almost empty. I was disappointed overall mainly because I was so concerned about the welfare of the animals especially in a facility that could do so much to educate the public about farm practices and animal welfare.

I went with a group of children, and we've been to many corn mazes over the years with this same group. The Deer Meadow Farms website clearly says in black and white to wear rubber boots or old shoes. Well these children for the most part cannot afford much let alone rubber boots. They were happy enough to get to go. But the first thing to happen when we arrive is our group being approached by someone who seemed to be in charge who then gave us a stern talking-to about not being prepared for the corn maze and that we weren't going to be welcome in any of the buildings because our feet would be muddy. You operate a farm and you're concerned about a little mud in the picnic barn? At 11-13 dollars a head just hire someone who can keep on top of the mud maintenance. Or better yet, do what the other corn mazes seem to be able to do and that's control the muddiness. Other places have figured out that you can lay down hay or wood chips to mitigate the mud because obviously it isn't just Deer Meadow that experiences rain and mud. When you run a business geared towards children, you need to learn how to interact with them and not make them feel bad about not showing up in what you deem to be proper footwear. And just because the price is on par with other mazes, doesn't mean the price is reasonable. Just means they're all taking us for a ride.

Afternoons this place was set up to be kid friendly. Be mindful of the conditions as the maze can be slick with mud. It was fun but if you have a little one so not 4xpect to do the whole maze. Evening, they say there is a really good haunted forest. Would go back for that.

Cute animals but I thought it would of been more to see. Staff was nice but went twice to see the chickens and when we were about to walk away is when a staff said she can let us in.

Staff are friendly and they have neat animals like goats, cow, donkey, chickens and lamb you can pet. They an enclosed area where they kept different types of deer and you go in there by riding a wagon pulled by a tractor. My son enjoyed it.

Took my kids there for a mini bday party Friday at 6 pm as per website. Didn't actually open till 630. Don't recommend going nothing for them to do after 630 at the facility.

What an awesome little spot. My son loves the goats. Staff were friendly and kind. Animals seemed well cared for and happy. Will definitely go again.

Took my daughter the other day just to get out and do something and she loved it! Great way to spend the morning and the farm fresh eggs are delish.

I took my son here for his second birthday. He was able to pet a cow, miniature horse, some goats and chickens. He loved it a lot. Everyone who works there was very nice and I would go back again.
