This Zoo belongs to the category of Ski resort.
Lots to do at this location. Hiking, biking, mountain coaster. Lots to do and a really pretty location!
Always a great place to go! Love a weekend away here with my hubby!
What an epic place and view! We had the breakfast buffet and it was incredible to eat up on the mountain!
I don't now how to start writing the amazing day that I had at Revelstoke Mtn. It was a unique experience, great staff, nice lodge and common areas (services. The runs are incredibles, amazingly beautiful and fun!!! Lots of tree runs and 2 big bowls to enjoy the beauty of the back country inbounds. Beautiful views and such and amazing snow, fresh powder all around. I can't wait to be back!
Very nice snow ❄️ for the ski ???? and snowboarding ????
I loved it here, we spent 1 day on the mountain and stayed at the Sutton Place. The pipe mountain coaster was so much fun. Yes you can hold your cell phone while going down but its not reccomend as many cell phones are never found.
Amazing skiing and fantastic snow with a great view. Rarely any lines at all in the system and affordable food in the restaurants. However, the price for ski passes are ridiculous.
Great place. Tons of vertical, stay and ride the top half of the mountain. Ridiculously fun over at the Ripper chair lift. Amazing runs through the trees. Love love love this place. Great facilities.
We did have a good time and fun memories in here, make sure you get the silver pass because it will be worth your money, with 2 pipe rides and gondola all the way to the top, mountain bikes, axe throwing and there bouncy for kiddos, don’t worry if you get hungry doin gondola there is a burger all the way to the Makenzie peak that worth your money and view..
Well located Ski-in and out Hotel. We stayed here 4 nights for a short Ski vacation, Rooms are nicely laid out, our room was a one bedroom suite, fully kitchen with large sitting Island, 2 fridges, dishwasher and oven with 2 burners, it was excellent to prepare your meals in the room. Outdoor Pool and Hot tub were great, the pool was nice and warm, provided with a ski locker and indoor parking. There is not much around the Mountain Resort to get into town is about a 10 min car ride. Check-in was fast and efficient, employees are great and informative, there is a small welcome reception with Wine & Cheese in the main Lobby.
Our family of four had an amazing day at the resort. Even spotted a young black bear above the first gondola. The pipe ride was the highlight of the day!
Do not get me wrong Revelstoke is one of the absolute best in the Canadian when it comes to terrain. Although to truly harness the beast that is Revelstoke you should go with an experienced skier who knows the ins and outs of the mountain. Once you know the difference between the cat tracks that mean you’ve gone to far and are in for a hike and the ones that are simply routes to other parts of the mountain you can start exploring but I would recommend purchase of recovery gear before doing so.
Hill is rough around the edges. Additionally the ticket prices don’t reflect the quality of skiing or experience on the hill. Lastly the fact you can’t get your money back on a pass you didn’t use for the day is ridiculous. I can’t sell the pass and I live across the country so I won’t be able to use it again. Stoked…..
This place was awesome!! We got the day pass (for two days). Rode the "pipe coaster" twice. Rode the gondola to the top and enjoyed some short hikes to two view points. Enjoyed a beer at the lodge on top. The second day we spent time in the ropes course. Best advice we were given was to arrive exactly when they open to avoid long line ups for activities. This is an amazing family friendly place. We also enjoyed our 30th wedding anniversary at the restaurant. We will definitely be returning for more fun.
Had a great time here with my family, lots of things to do in the summer but the highlight would definitely be the mountain coaster ride. BIG tip would be to buy tickets before hand and go early as the peak time waits were very long.
Amazing place for a vacation getaway. In summer season, they have a "Play-All-Day" pass that includes 2 coaster rides, axe throwing, disc golfing, and gondola rides. There are also hiking trails in the mountains. You can also mountain bike or paraglide for extra charges. You can easily spend a day here, just by looking at the gorgeous view at the mountain top. Highly recommended. Not too crowded with tourists.
Definitely a place to visit. The Pipe coaster is sooo much fun, the Aerial park is well designed and easy enough for us parents who want to tag along with our teens. My kids loved the rock wall and we all did the free fall from the 4th story. The ax throwing was quite fun and something we'd never done before. We also tried the disk golf, something new for us as well but bring mosquito repellent. We got eaten up alive, lol The second Gondola ride up the mountain is just breathtaking!! We are not hikers per say but there is amazing hicking happening at the top of the mountain. Overall we had the best of time and we'll worth the expense for a family of 5. We purchased the all day pass. We liked that we were able to leave back to our campground for lunch and come back. And ALL the staff throughout the area are friendly and helpful!! Thank you staff????
Awesome ski resort! So many glades and deep powder in the North Bowl! View is unbelievable from every angle! The smell of evergreen is so invigorating! Longest diamond runs from top of the peak (2250m) to the base of the mountain (500m)! I do wish that there are more affordable lodging options and restaurants around the resort to enhance the apres ski experience. Bottom line: the mountains are gorgeous, snow amazing, highly recommend!
Smoky day and quite hot during our visit (August 2021). The stop for mountain sports (winter or summer) in Revelstoke. My friends and I just tried the coaster, always a thrill every time.
Great resort, so much terrain, great snow and it was only early season over Christmas. I noticed some people saying that there is a lot of runs not for families but I would disagree as even the black diamond runs at the top were great for intermediate to advanced skiers as there is just so much good snow. We look forward to coming back!
Amazing hill and resort, don't miss it.
Great mountain. Been here in the winter and now closing weekend and had great skiing both times
3.5 hr wait times for the pipe ride and retarded pricing for just a gondola made it not worth the drive from Vernon. Luckily the enchanted forest was on the way
Lots of fun great activities and amazing beautiful scenery here to enjoy.
#1 resort right up there with whistler. Biking is insainely good and same with the skiing. One of my favorites for sure ????
We booked with Backside Tours staying at the Sutton. The skiing/ snowboarding was incredible. Can't wait to go back.
We spent nearly a week here and it still didn't feel like we ran out of things to do (or beautiful scenery) - very worth the long long drive out from Calgary. Bit too many moghuls by mid-day but they were soft, powder moguls so can't really complain :D
Pipe coaster and aerial park were very fun. The staff at the aerial park did not seem very happy to be working there however. Nobody was friendly or welcoming, it seemed more like they were annoyed to have to deal with us.
Great pow day, but huge lineups for the godola at the start of the day
A great place with lots of family fun to be had. The arial rope course was only opening July first, but we still had a lot to do for the entire day. They also allow you to camp free for one night with no services.
What a beautiful resort! We stayed here for one night and the amenities and things to do was second to none! From the gondola, pipeline roller coaster, the high ropes, the pool, the food. Everything!! Will definitely go there again! Next time it won't be just a stopover, it will be the destination!!
Small but popular ski hill. Basic amenities. Enough to keep everyone happy.
Pipe Coaster was a lot of fun, recommend doing more than one ride. We were able to access some of the trails.
Great mountain. Very unpredictable weather. Great runs. Affordable food on the hill. Runs are world class. Highly recommended for the skilled skier.
The tallest ski resort in North America! Can get phenomenal snow and has amazing terrain The bike trail they opened this summer is so fun - take the gondola half way and climb the rest, then you are rewarded with an 18 km descent! I have also attended a wedding at the mid mountain lodge and it was beautiful.
We went down the pipe roller coaster. It was so much fun and the staff were very helpful and friendly!
Unfortunately the views we not as good with the smoke, but still a great day! They grow big flies up in these parts.
We had a fantastic time, the pipe coaster is WORTH the wait. And the view, including Mt Begbie, is amazing
Huge mountain, add a longer runway ant it will become a world class destination. The gold rush has started.
TLDR: Powder capital, best ski in Canada. There really isn’t anything to hate about Revelstoke. The snow is always in abundance, the powder soft fresh and silky smooth, the moguls soft, and the groomed trails are packed with a punch. Only downside is the lower mountain trails, especially the ones connecting the lower Stoke terminal to the Gondola mid-station and the base. These trails are always relatively to extremely unmaintained, and even if they say they are opened, they can have so much exposed grass and rock it appears ridiculous that anyone with common sense would still believe it is “open”. Besides that, the small mountain in addition to the remoteness of this mountain and its corresponding town allows for a fun, awesome, quiet, and line-free experience without the crowds of Lake Louise or Banff Sunshine. 12/10 would recommend.
Axe throwing, pipe coaster, hike and many more. A day pass is worth if I had time to try all of it. Book pipe coaster ticket online 24 hrs prior to skip the line up and the wait time.
I fell in love with this place. Such an amazing experience. I tried snowboard and ski for the first time in my life. The town is magic, the Hotel is lovely, the staff amazing, and the views are simply breathtaking. I'd love to come back someday so badly!
This place was AWESOME. If you're around the area you should definitely come here. You should definitely do the pipe mountain coaster, and trust me you should buy two rides because you will want to do it a second time! There are also many other activities here and you could buy a package. The staffs are very friendly and accommodating. Must do!
This mountain never disappoints! So much Pow and the workers are always so friendly!
Extremely good mountain, great runs, untouched powder all over the mountain. Tree runs all over, great groomers. Awesome guide named Joel knows everything and is a great instructor and guide!
Great terrain and an excellent fun town to stay in.
Wish that all day pass was really all day but they're limited to very few number of uses like 2 times on Pipe (which is the best experience for me).
Driving here at the end of summer instead of winter. The view up top is beautiful. There are some activities to do here for travelers, family and kids. We did the lift up to the top and then went down the mountain with the pipe mountain coaster. It was quite fun. Remember to book online on their website as the price is cheaper online ($20 for 1 instead of $25 if you book in person). Also, note that online purchases must be made by midnight the evening prior to your activity date.
We had so much fun here in the summer. We stop every time we drive through. Loved the pipe coaster and the ropes section. Staff are very helpful and friendly.
Fantastic mountain to ski and board. It's a bit more geared for advanced level.
This was our absolute favorite mountain to go to during our trip to the Canadian Rockies. The addition of the new Stellar chair made it much easier to traverse to go between the Stoke and Ripper chairs. This is definitely a mountain to stay at if you want to get in some great glade runs or have the itch to ride some fresh pow. The mid mountain lodge was a bit small but the food they served was great! We had to go at weirder times to be able to find a seat for a large group of people.
Amazing skiing just poke around and you'll find some great lines. The layout of the mountain works for skiing some big vertical. Bring your Camelback, accessing water is a pain from the upper mountain. Food at the base is great. Staying at Sutton Place is a sweet blessing. Town is quaint and has some great restaurants. Definitely check out Woolsey for an amazing dinner!
Revelstoke Mountain Resort was a fun place to spend a summers day. There is plenty to enjoy and the staff are all friendly and accommodating. If i have any complaint it would be that there was very limited relief from the sun. We had to sit on the ground to be in the shade. Otherwise it was great!
Revelstoke Mountain Resort has amazing customer service. I lost a ski and they went out of their way to get it back to me. I also had passes booked for a one day trip and I needed to cancel. It was the easiest thing to do. It was a 30 second phone call and I got a full refund, even though I was cancelling the night before.
One of the best ski resort there is. Huge selection of glades and even bigger Backcountry terrain. Not the best place for a family ski day, but if you are an avid skier, you've got to check this place out!
Pipe coaster was cool, just a bit short for the price. Best time to go is definitely first thing in the AM. There were no lineups.
Super fun experience at RMR. Definitely get the Adventure day pass when you visit the resort. It includes 2 rides on the Pipe Coaster, adventure climbing zone, disc golf, gondola rides, axe throwing and hiking in the Alpine. Go early to get a spot on the coaster and check-in online throughout out the day for the adventure climbing zone. I mountain bikes as well and enjoyed the trails. A bit too much flow and machine built for my liking but still a fun place to ride. Not many choices for technical trails outside of pipe wrench and fish bonker. Still a definite place to visit while in Revelstoke.
Spectacular hill. Great happy staff. Perfect family destination
Just went there for the pipe coaster, and it was a blast. Plan to go back again and experience more of what they have to offer.
5 star pipe ride but minus 1 star due to ticket system and minimum 1.5 hour wait per ride, minus star due to buying 3 pack of rides online but not wanting to spend 4.5 hours queuing for 6 minutes of ride total, and minus 1 star because none of the coaster staff smile... they look like they hate their jobs.
The best ski / snowboard place in canada. No! In the world. They have high enough altitude to enjoy fresh rocky powder. Also is super easy to access to the peak of the mountain with 15 mimute-boot-packed steps. Staffs will welcome you Friendly with Huge smile. Enjoy your future day in revy!
Fantastic snow and lots of terrain. Doesn't feel crowded once you're up the gondola. The Revelation day lodge also has the best food I've ever eaten at a ski hill cafeteria.
So much came up for the weekend with my bf and much needed fun time thank you
Brilliant resort. Lots of variety and sizable area. One of the best places I've skied
My favourite mountain in the Canadian Rockies!! (I've been to 12). We seem to get lucky with amazing powder every time. My favourite things are: 1) there are a bunch of areas where the trees are perfect spacing for play 2) the runs are ridiculously long, so you spend a good portion of your day riding instead of standing in lift lines. 3) there's 2 separate gondolas plus a chairlift to the very top. So you can download from gondola checkpoints if the lower mountain sucks. I wouldn't recommend this mountain for a beginner, especially a snowboarder. The green runs are mostly wider cat tracks where you need speed.
the pipe coaster was super fun, nice haiking trails, scenic points, there were others attractions that I couldn't enjoyed but I would like to come back and Try gliders :)
So much to do! The staff all over the resort were fantastic! Informative, and accommodating!
Visit was in late July. Summer activities seem pretty good. We did the mountain coaster which was a blast. A bit pricey at $29/person/ride, but acceptable. Mountain bikers seemed very happy. Would definitely like to revisit in the winter for skiing.
Coaster was awesome.
Beautiful resort! Beautiful rooms with king size beds fully stocked kitchens and beautiful view of the mountains! Secure underground parking Swimming pool and hot tub area very nice! Excellent service! Pricey but worth it! Totally recommend!
Pipe Coaster is totally worth it, the only downside is that's too short... 100% recommended for all ages.
Coaster was SO fun. Lil bit scared at first, but about halfway down when you realize how to control the speed and that your in control, I had fun and went as fast as possible. Lots of other fun activities, but make sure you know how to mountain bike downhill cuz the course is pre hard.
JC was very informative and very helpful and amazing place will be booking next trip. I would recommend this place to anyone heading to revelstoke. The rooms are vlean and big enough the best part was the bbq.
When the snow is good this place is great. Thankfully it snows a lot here. Not the best place for beginners or intermediates though.
Big mountain, looking forward to more trails in the future
Very long runs. The most vertical height and length. Good only for intermediate and better skiers and snowboarders. The village is very small with very limited food choices.
So, so beautiful. I went on a random weekday, not crowded at all and powder stashes for days. Find a way to get here as soon as possible, I know I certainly will.
Great resort with restrooms and warm up shacks along the way up.
Everything was open and other than having a shortage of snow on the lower slopes, it was great. Our 2 bedroom suite with den was lovely.
Amazing property, the views, the place feels modern and well kept. The staff were friendly, lots of cool summer activities, axe throwing, roller coaster, aerial activity center, mountain bike trails, hiking trails, taverns, coffee shops rentals, retail, hotels, frisbee golf, 2 gondolas. Really liked it can’t wait to check it out in the winter.
Plan ahead and buy the play all day pass with 48 hours notice to save some $$. My kids (13 & 10) loved the mountain coaster and the high ropes park. Skip the crowds and go on a weekday - earlier the better and you won’t wait in line for the rides. Limited hiking at the top - but there are plenty of other places to do that in and around Revelstoke. Not a ton of food options.
Very much enjoyed the skiing at Revelstoke. More hills should look into the system that they're using here for their online ticket purchase + NFC passes, makes getting on the hill and into the gondola so easy.
Great resort with family suits. It is a ski out resort that has also summer activities like gondola rids, mountain biking, hiking, and a luge mountain pipe. Very nice restaurant and coffee shop. In the downtown area there is a great Indian restaurant you have to try
Very nice indeed. Bed was like sleeping on a cloud. Even had warm bathroom tile on the floor! The real fireplace was a great touch. Gets a cooler room nice n cosy fast. The lobby and interior of the hotel feels very new, even though it’s about 10 years old. Amazing. Lobby is lovely, classy and spacious. Lots of places to sit down and have the quick biz meetings. We couldn’t work out how to disable the loud wooshing hearing air system randomly going off, we tried to turn it off on the panel in the bathroom to no effect. It would still randomly come on, blowing cold air over the bed. Can we have a way to turn this off please?
What an awesome first day at Revelstoke to a ski adventure on the powder highway.
This resort is huge and vast. The first time skiing there, I lost my way. It's worth trying the highest elevation and longest run in Canada.
We did the pipe ride. Fun but not cheap for 5 minutes of fun! Lots of bugs in August too...
Awesome all day of summer fun. Come early and buy the silver pass for lots of entertainment. Plus, the views from the top gondola are spectacular. Oh, and the burger shack on top serves tasty meals under $10 - a great way to fuel up at mid day.
One of the greatest ski destinations on the planet. We have twice taken the odyssey through the Canadian Rockies and it does not disappoint. Snow, steeps, powder, variety, space. I would not learn to ski here, but it is a great place to see what you can do.
A great way to make use of a ski hill in the summer! Revelstoke Mountain Resort has a number of activities available to try during the summer. Top of the list is the "Pipe" mountain coaster. Definitely worth checking out if you're in the area. During shoulder season, multi-ride passes are available. In the Summer, the Silver mountain pass may be your best bet.
Sadly there on a smokey day this summer but enjoyed it anyways. Gondola ride was fun and lots of small hikes from there. Sadly we couldn't use the multiple vantage points to see anything. We took the coaster down which was fun - one of our 5 went a bit slow since it was her first time and of course everyone wanted to go again. They really should offer another ride at a decent rate right after you get down I suspect they'd have a lot of takers. $150 for another 5 min ride just too steep. Finally had a great lunch at the restaurant. Daughter visited gift shop and despite a lot on sale no great deals. Some inexpensive tshirts to commerorate visit would be good. All and all a good stop on our return from Kelowna broke up trip nicely.
I love the resort. I dislike how a lot of people are going out of bounds without beacons, I saw well over 20 in my one day of touring this season, when I confronted one of them "I've done it lots of times, nothing to worry about". Nice how they don't care about anyone else, standing in slip lines skiing / boarding over the top of people who were touring...
summer or winter very nice place
Very nice resort with complete in-room amenities. Highly recommended for families.
Since we live in Ontario we have to travel great distances to find great skiing. We've traveled to several ski resorts in the west including in Colorado British Columbia and Alberta. Revelstoke Mountain Resort has by far been the best skiing we've done anywhere. We skied here in March 2018. It was more than just great skiing with great conditions it was everything that goes with it. There were no crowds, no lineups, incredible scenery, great amenities on the hill, the lift gondola was fast, and the hotel at the base of the mountain had great amenities for ski in/ski out and Aprês Ski. Having said that however I also wouldn't hesitate to stay in the nearby village as well. This place is not the typical pretentious ski village you'll find at Whistler or Beaver Creek. This place is about skiing first, not so much about seeing or being seen. Just because this place is for serious skiers it's not just for experts. There are plenty of beginner and intermediate run options. Whatever your ski ability, with so much vertical you will find yourself spending more time on the hill and less time in the gondola. Which ticks yet another box ????
Got some serious pow Fri of SuperBowl weekend! Amazing terrain at Revey, rarely disappoints always consistently deep by this time of the year!
Always a great time at Revelstoke Resort. We had a bit of a dump the night before so the snow was really nice. Would be five star but the bottom of the hill was a bit sketchy. Crowds were decent and Covid regs were being followed.
Haven't skiied there yet. Went in the summer. Pipe coaster was fun,. Pretty good value on the GOLD Pass but be aware to grab your tickets by the a gondola right away when you arrive the pipe coaster line can't get really long both times we were there. Also if you want to go full speed ask the person in front how fast they plan on going. Nothing like waiting behind someone getting your turn only to have to ride your brakes all the way down. If they seem like chickens wait a few extra minutes at the top before you go. Great views on the gondola, grab the euro bungee as soon as you can if there is no line, this also gets quite lined up. There's a ton of stuff to do to pass the time if you aren't in a hurry. Great views from the top of the gondola too if you are up for a hike
Back in the day, the development of Mount McKenzie was pretty much a dream for most of us long time locals. So many times we heard talks of it happening, until the mid 2000’s, and that dream became a reality. The Revelstoke Mountain Resort has exceeded any dreams I ever thought possible for that Mountain. With things to do for the whole family, it’s become a favourite place to spend the day or to take visitors when visiting our Community. I’m no longer a skier, but I did get a few opportunities to hit the hill before the skis were retired. Wow! Wow! Wow! Not a shortage of powder and runs to keep you busy all day long. And the summer months having access to hiking trails, biking trails, helicopter rides, paragliding, the Pipe Coaster, restaurants, and so much more with some of the most amazing views, definitely worth the trip for any visitor. With a multitude of things to do on the mountain or in and around Revelstoke, plan a trip to this amazing Mountain Resort and City.
Great mountain, snow conditions were excellent, good experience. There are many great ski trails/slopes but careful as they’re also several avalanche areas and difficult trails. Also, beware there may be delays in travels to/from Revelstoke due to avalanche control on the 1. Enjoy!
The Revelstoke pipe is awesome and definitely worth doing if you go in the summer.
The bike park is newly built. You have to take two gondolas to get somewhat to the top. There are some trails that take you to the peak. The trails features big berms, some features and medium to small jumps. The bike trails are super long and flowy. Most of the trails are super bermy and advanced. There are no green trails for beginners. The resort also overviews beautiful mountains and the city of Revelstoke. Amazing views biking down. Definitely a must go. The staff is super friendly and the restaurants offer great food and beer. It also have some other activities like axe throwing, pipe line rollercoster, disc golfing, obstacle area and some amazing hikes. Families with kids will enjoy this place a lot !!
Awesome mountain! So much terrain to explore. It is a more challenging mountain than some in this area. But always easier options to the bottom. Wish there was more of a chalet option mid mountain!
So many fun things to do!
Love the people here! Great place to get away to and enjoy time away from North Vancouver. Love Revelstoke so much! The skiing is phenomenal.
Definitely one of the best mountains in Canada. Potential for snow is incredible. But the hill is also very well designed and marked. Felt very safe and would recommend to anyone. Would be nice if via rail had service there however.
A fantastic mountain with varied terrain, steep bowls, and amazing views. Revelstoke also offers the highest vertical in North America!
Great mountain, not to many people waiting at the chair lift, nice grooming when there isn’t new snow, a lot of place to explore, you won’t get bored! Also, nice powder when there is snow. A mountain that can do everything!
Amazing mountain, insane vertical drop and terrain. Super friendly staff and consistent high quality snow. A visit here is highly recommended.
So much snow! Hands down the best ski mountain in Canada!
Amazing resort. Feels like a small town that you can do everything in. Best coaster ride! It was so fun, money well spent!
A must visit place if you come to Revelstoke, the All day play pass makes it really worth it. It include unlimited gondola ride, which takes you to hikes up the mountain, upper restaurant and the coaster. Also include axe throwing, aeriel park, disc golf and 2x coaster ride. Unfortunately it was very smoky when we visited the resort so we didn't do any of the hikes but we still had a great time and you can easily spend a whole day there!
Staff were great at lifts and mountain operated food stops.
This morning, there was heavy cloud cover in Revelstoke, and it looked like a very gray day. After a short ride on the gondola, I was pleasantly surprised to find a gorgeous bluebird day (see photos) and lots of good snow that was mostly packed powder. The bump runs were fairly gently carved, making for some excellent glade skiing on the double blacks. Days' end came too quickly, and I was sad to be skiing down The Last Spike. I had a nice beverage at the restaurant/bar and went back to my hotel feeling wonderful. I love this mountain and the town of Revelstoke for all it has to offer. Off to helicopter skiing for the next 5 days with CMH!!
Nice views. Fun gondola ride up and down the mountain. Excellent burgers at the outpost. Nice friendly staff
Cool place to hang out and experience some different things
It was a good experience, however for paying for 3 adults and 1 child almost 300 dollars and my 6 yr old could not do the biggest thing she was looking forward to due to being less then an inch short. So not worth what we paid but it was a blast.
Full day of activities. Only place we encountered that did covid tracing. Only complaint was the super long wait for pipe coaster, but there were many things to do while waiting. Also my dog was welcome with a leash. Will definitely be going back.
Me and my boy went down the Mountain roller coaster a couple of times and we got trapped at the top of the second gondola, basically swaying at the top of the mountain at the mercy of God.
Fantastic place to stay! We were incredibly pleased with the two bedroom suite we stayed in. The staff were very helpful as well. I really enjoyed being able to cook in our suite so we weren't eating out for every single meal of our extended trip. The local grocery stores were in good proximity to the resort. Access to the gondola and Pipe coaster were all on site. Beautiful look out spots, delicious food at the restaurants, and people genuinely looked happy to be there. Great for families, couples retreats, or single traveller getaway. We are already looking forward to returning!
Rode the mountain coaster, went on a short hike, enjoyed the view of the mountains. Basically it was amazing.
We as a family usually go to Big White. While they have their own issues (some very inconsiderate remarks from the company come to mind), we like it because it is close to us and after our experience at Revelstoke, we are appreciative of their slick pass pick-up/re-load system as well as the numbers of clear signages, washrooms, and food places. I think the Revelstoke runs themselves are very nice, especially for those who are bored of Green runs (not me but my spouse, for example). It is not a very beginner friendly mountain though. The bigger issues are their COVID protocols, signages, ticket lines as they all need significant work. Especially, their pass pick-up system is just braindead-ly inefficient. Ticket lines: Their system of picking up our passes after we got everything done online was to line up to speak to a person at the counter. One of the queues went inside a building where people had to wait upwards of 30 minutes in a crowded inside space. People packed up inside a building during a pandemic when they don't have to be... While everyone is theoretically vaccinated since otherwise you can't get on the gondola, they were not enforcing mask mandate inside this building. Couldn't they come up with a system to do this with a machine (scanning QR code) with a machine??? We were ready by 8:30am but took us over an hour to get through two different queues - first to pick up our passes and then to get on the gondola. The conclusion is that it was worth exploring and it has its values for advance skiers, I am quite happy sticking to my local mountains.
Gondola lift was a treat for the kids. A little hike and a great meal at the top. Breathtaking views. Lots of activities for the family. Didn't have time for pipecoaster but looks like fun to try next trip.
8 hours of waiting at 9am in the morning just for the pipe coaster. Waiting time for gondola and other activities was separate. I get it it difficult during covid, but the management is bad. They are sell way more tickets than then can manage. You'll need be there at 6 just to up the mountain.
2nd opening day spent at Revy, so good. Found fresh tracks in the glades both days I rode. New stellar chair prefect for beginners. Best hill in BC, worth the trip.
Hats off to Nick in the repair shop and Bryn at Critical Parts for their expert service and care. Nick kept safety at the forefront when he let me know that my bindings and newly purchased boots were not compatible and therefore would not release as they should. Both gentlemen worked hard to make lemonade out of the lemon-y situation and I appreciated their honesty and willingness to make the matter work.
We had a great visit to Revelstoke. We tried the new Ariel Ropes course. My daughter was the first guest to try it the zipline portion of it. The staff are amazing. They helped the kids and were so friendly. In the past we done the pipe coaster and snowboarded There also.
This was the most fun I have ever had skiing. Lots of variety in the runs. No lift lines while we were there. We had a lot of fun in the glades. The first day we were there was a bluebird, which allowed for some impressive views
Spend lots of time over the winters here. Love the spa. Love that its dog friendly
From never ending glades, to nice and steep bowls and easy runs with beautiful views, Revelstoke has everything to offer. The runs and lifts are not that busy most of the time so you can enjoy as many runs as your day could possibly offer. The restaurant and the bar offers a nice ambiance for the après ski.
We went for the last day of summer - mainly for the pipe coaster and were not disappointed. The revolution gondola is awesome. I can’t speak for winter, though as I’ve only been when it’s summer! And barely that, it was the end of September.
It was my first time at the infamous Revy ski resort and it lived up to my expectations and more! Thanks to Andre (ski instructor) for a great 1st day lesson!! Great resort and people, will definitely be back!
It rained all day on our 1st day which washed away the snow below the 1st gondola. Visibly was very poor. Once the rain stopped and the snow came on our 2nd day things improved a little with some fresh powder on the off-piste among the trees. We found the area to have a dissapointing layout - the back bowl access is less than ideal especially when visability is poor which, if the snow record is accurate, is probably most of the time. There was a brief spell of clear sky on our 3rd day when we could see our surroundings which were stunning. To us the area has the feel of a place in need of significant development and isn't quite there yet. It's OK for a 1 or maybe 2 day visit at most. A good skier or boarder could cover the entire area in half a day so a little boring from a terrain perspective.
Paved parking lots would add some class. Facility itself is nice but first impression is that the road/parking lot is sh*t. Would like to ski there, see what it's like. Coming from calgary there are a lot of closer hills so not high on my to do list.
Amazing place to ski, deep powder, big cliffs, some decent bowls, and excellent tree skiing.
Best snow I've seen compared to any other resort. You wait a bit at the chairs but the vertical on hill is worth it. If they are calling for snow or have had a big dump, get there early to beat the line.
Probably my favorite mountain yet. Really good trails for snowboarders. The view of the town and surrounding mountains is incredible, the snow was perfect powder that day and made for a killer experience.
Outstanding resort. RMR has what ever you want. Its a back country adventure in bounds. You can learn to ski here at the Stellar chair, or hit it hard. No need to ski anywhere else this place is the best.
Good mountain, with great terrain. Gets skied out quickly so try and wait for fresh snow to get the best experience. Staff and après-ski are both top notch.
We did the pipe mountain coaster ! It was fun but short. I personaly think that it's more worth it if you take a pass for the days & Do the others activities.
Missed the opportunity to ride Coaster. It seems like a fun place for kids and family.
5620 was great but also several of the corners were completely blown out and dangerous IMO. If they fixed them up it would be a beautiful long blue trail.
Always a good time. Beautiful view. One of my favorite spots. The view from the top is one of the most breathtaking, if not the most. The burgers at Mackenzie post are crazy good too... Pro tip: Grab a burger, toss it in your bag, take Stoke chair above the clouds, eat burger with one of the best views.
It was a long wait...3 hours but it's worth it if it's your first time. I would plan a picnic and maybe a dip in the river during the August month when the river is low. But it's fun if you can get 2 rides.
This was a midway stop while heading out to our further destination. This place did not disappoint. There are so many things to do right at the mountain. From Hiking, Mountain biking, Extreme Mountain biking. Climbing, Axe Throwing. The best part was the Ride down on the carts! Hotel was clean. Super nice we had a bedroom with a small kitchen in it. Next time we will be staying longer.
Great experience with the gondola and pipe coaster. Axe throwing was awesome. Qr code is for Ariel Trek booking time.
The mountain coaster was fun, the views at the top of the Gondola were beyond stunning and the restaurant had some of the best burgers we had on our trip. We had a great time
Awesome place form some summer adventures. Beautiful accommodation and location.
Revelstoke is the best hill I’ve ever done. So many trails of great variety. Some amazing snow for sure on this hill!
The most fun I ever had skiing. The powder is beautiful.
Lots of things to do...I love the pipe ride, gondola and axe throwing
It’s one of awesome ski resorts. If you don’t have ski stuffs and thinking to rent them, you need to know everything is down before taking gondola up to the sub peak. Don’t make our mistake. The price of taking just gondola to the top is $25. There is a stop in between the way, the second gondola goes higher to sub peak. There is a cafeteria in top which has a great view if you’re looking for seating and enjoy your coffee or bear. From sub peak there are two ski zone which one of them goes to chair lift station for going up to to main peak. The other one is slow zone in opposite direction.
Wow!! Incredible views, exciting little coaster ride, and the friendliest people. Fully worth spending a day. Pack a lunch or enjoy the restaurants but definitely take the gondola to the top and try the coaster!
Wonderful experience for the 3 & up kids!❤ safe enough. There is also various family activities . All nature adventure.
We always enjoy the pipe coaster. The axe throwing and other fun things make this a great stop.
Best place for family, bikers and adventurous people. Place was neat and clean l.. All the staffs are super friendly.
Beautiful place ,friendly staff and great early season snow
Gem in the heart of BC, great terrain, best Vert on the continent and still great vibe and low key resort.
Great views, and awesome snow/glades.
This place is the best, we love snowboarding, and the long terrain it has. We had some awesome days. Rental shop is awesome too, quick and friendly.
That was the best snow fun I’ve ever had. What a beast of a resort. Fast lifts and fast lines, groomers in great shape and huge fun in the trees. I will be back
The 5620 trail is pretty rad. Specifically the top section which was smooth like butter. It was pretty quiet so only 1 option for food, 1 option for gear retail but that is to be expected for now. Nice to see more bike trails being built and look forward to riding in the future again.
Incredible. Skiing and boarding is top tier and probably the best in all of the rockies, especially when there's powder. The slopes have incredible views and offer many different challenges. Just an overall amazing experience.
A spectacular place to spend the day with the family and practice beautiful sports????????⛷️
Awesome ski resort, not to busy, great ski runs for intermediate to advance.
Great place to visit worth the long travel, we’ve enjoyed each hours we’re in the place. Mountain bike trail are awesome would definitely comeback here soon ????
The new 5620 (Fifty Six Twenty) mtb trail is a must-ride! Stunning climb and a neverending descent. Worth every penny for a lift ticket
Beautiful mountain views! Good Burgers and beers, including Beyond burgers for vegetarians. Downhill Mountain biking, axe throwing and a 1.6 km downhill roller coaster that was lots of fun.
Amazing glades, awesome snow with lots of powder, challenging terrain. Gets crowded on the weekends and holidays. Super fun runs off ripper with lots of little drops. Unfortunately a lot of long flat cat tracks. Main downside is the small mid mountain huts, no tables available inside forcing you to eat in your lap / on the bench.
This is the best shredding mountain in Canada. Mountain Collective must stop... Revelstoke is a gem.... Best kept secret - go see Karl at society for all your snowboard needs!
Great conditions for a week left of being open. Loved the slush and the snowfall combination!
Can’t believe in 2022 there are still places with no phone signal covered around the activity area.
Stopped in to try out the mountain side pipe coaster, 110% recommend an all day pass for that. We only grabbed a one go ticket and instantly wished we had an all day pass after. Was a blast and is a must try.
One of the best ski resorts I have ever been at. The snow has a great quality and you have a variety of slopes to choose from.
One of my favourite ski resorts. The snow is always amazing. The runs are long and well varied.
Always have an amazing time here. The longest run in north America (6.7km). The most epic off lift areas. Beautiful hotel and dining is always a treat. During COVID, the resort's staff have been diligent to ensure public safety. They're still as friendly as ever, but they've done a great job of keeping guests and staff safe.
Spoiled this year with meters of snow. Great resort with a great vibe. So many glades of open tree skiing, features for the senders, and general awesomeness. 145$ is steep.. but so is the terrain.
Wonderful place to spend the day. The upper gondola and pipe coaster were awesome!
Powder heaven! Everything here is great and cool! - great lovely staff everywhere - enought parking slots - good prices - great services - great food in every restaurant in resort - great skiing - lot of slopes, everyday in great condition - great black tracks - awesome possibilities for skitouring - lot of awesome photo shooting spots for freeriding - best safety - never ending freeriding Deserve to visit! Dream of every freerider.
They have got several activities there. It's safe for kids also. But it's busy always. So better book your tickets in advance which is also gets you discounted prices. and you can go for refunding if you don't use it. The pipe coaster is a must try one.
1st visit today, staying for 2 nights, I have to say, cleanliness is 10/10, the kitchen amenities 10/10 pots to pans to kitchen utensils you've got them all. The temperature in the shower is consistent and water flow is excellent (not influenced by the flush of toilet). I have to say it's probably one of the best hotels in revelstoke. Strongly suggest people to say for those traveling east bound or west bound and needed a place to rest. It's April and kind of cold so I didn't get to use the pool but I will be back to stay again for sure.
Best resort I’ve been to!
Been here 4 winters now and still can't get enough. Best in resort off piste skiing in all of Canada. Friendly people and always some powder to be found.
Love coming here in both the summer and winter. The Mountain coaster is a blast and beautiful views with lots of hiking trails in the summer. Winter time the snow is amazing and my kids had a blast during lessons.
Had a fantastic day and apres ski drinks at Rockford Grill. Excellent mountain terrain conditions and plenty of space to have fun. Photo are from the B&B we stayed at.
Beautiful views, friendly staff, lots of activities to do year-round for the entire family. A tad busy on the line weekend with minimal signs, advise or help available so it was a bit frustrating for many families over our stay in Revelstoke, but overall, absolutely lovely time to be had!
Great place to have a lot of fun with friends and family. Quite a number of activities to be enjoyed during the summer, I highly recommend checking the mountain coaster. It's a bit if a short ride but it's an experience.
Although we went on a day when it was too smokey to see the view...it was so enjoyable especially the pipe iron roller coaster, are throwing,we took a small hike and it is lovely just riding the gondola
This was a ton of fun! Take the gondola up and ride the pipe down. You can go for lunch while you wait for your turn to go down the pipe. The wait time was about 2 hrs when we went, but it went by fast! Lots to do and explore while you wait!
2020-09-05 Don't waste your time off your not local. Purchased tickets for the Mountain Coaster online in advance and drove 2 hrs with excited kids to arrive and have staff tell us we couldn't ride due to a 7 hour wait. Manager and staff didn't care that we had disappointed kids with us offered nothing for compensation. Didn't care when we said we wouldn't be back and were writing negative reviews.
Good fun during the summer
The pipe mountain coaster was fun. It wasn't as fast as I expected and over too quickly. There was a long wait but you can do other things while you wait.
One of the nicest places I've ever stayed, add to that the Staff were very friendly and helpful. The bed was super comfortable and the place was clean. The steak I had in the Restaurant was as good as any iver had and thats a lot of steaks!
MTB 5620 super flowy with berms and jumps for days! The pipe was a blast and views were stunning!
Great mountain, 5 stars. Sutton Place needs to work harder. The front desk people don't share information with housekeeping.
Loved this ski resort. So many long runs, mid week was pretty quiet even after some fresh snow. Easy access with 2 gondalas getting you 2/3 way up the mountain. Look out for the po po every day we went up or down they were there pulling someone over. Likely due to a 30km/h zone as you go past a school zone. Beware! Loads of parking and if you get the right spot you can board all the way to your car. Will be back if time and snow permits.
We planned our trip around this attraction. When we got to the mountain we were told it would be a 4 hour wait, and that the trail ride down was 5 minutes. The website talks about first come first serve, might want to add a disclaimer on average wait times! Plus rain was in the forecast for about the end if the wait time! We had to pass as sitting around for 4 hours was not in our plans
This is the best ski resort I have ever skied in. Everybody will have their fun! Steep & deep or just cruising the slopes you have it all here!
Went to ride the mountain coaster but there was a 2hr wait. First come first served type deal....thats all i have on this place...looked nice tho. They had axe throwing, gondola ride and coaster for 50$ all day pass
Revy is The best place I have ever skied! It's huge, yet quaint. It's gnarly, steep, and full of powdery pillow lines! If you are an advanced to expert skier this place needs to be on your bucket list! The views are also STUNNING!
We rode the pipe coaster. It was fun and fast! Staff were very friendly and helpful. The signage as to where to go for what activities could be improved. Otherwise a fun place!
Beautiful conditions. Plenty of snow. Lift lines go so fast too. Not many folks on mountain mid week. Awesome mountain vibe.
They need a better system to speed up their line to get tickets. We got our tickets online and we had to wait for over an hour. I don’t understand why they don’t have kiosk, online check or event express line or something… hopefully management reads and makes the changes! It’s 2021!!
One of the best resorts I've been too so much fun in the trees! Wish they had a park this year!
Nice place for pipe coaster in summer
Exceptional and underestimated skiing experience for all levels.
Had an absolute blast on the one day trip! The aerial adventure park is so much fun. Food at La Petite Baguette was so delicious and freshly made, I could go back just for the food. Unlimited rides come with the all the day pass for the lower Gandola and the view is really mesmerizing from the very top.
The kids ski lessons are so well run. We love coming here every weekend!!! It's worth the 1.5 hour drive!
You have got to do the pipe mountain coaster! They also have a high ropes course and plenty of bike trails. I can't wait to go back and ride the coaster again
The coaster was a lot of fun but next time we’d get a different pass to do more. The wait was long but we grabbed some food (in the AC) while we waited. It was so hot they paused the coaster and we appreciated the attention to safety.
Awesome runs for people with experience, the gondola isn't as convenient as some other places. You have to get off half way and walk over to the next gondola to make it up. Also they gondolas don't have slots on the outside to put your skiis in, so you're stuck with carring in the cab of the gondola. Otherwise this place has endless adventures of terrain and the view is pretty incredible. I would highly recommend over alot of popular resorts.
Great views in the summer - would be beautiful with snow!
Came up for the weekend from Vancouver to spend the day snowboarding at Revelstoke. Arrived around 7:45 to catch the first gondolas up the mountain at 8:30. Compared to our local mountains Cypress and Grouse, Revelstoke had so much more mountain and terrain to explore. From beginner runs and terrain park features to advanced runs and hikes there is so much exploring you can do in a day. The only thing I would say was a pain was that on many of the green runs there are some long catwalks. Had an amazing time and I’m definitely coming back next season!
Thanks so much for crushing kids hearts with your Covid protocol, so much for thinking of the youth, I guess you forgot they grow up someday.
It was so much fun!! We bought one time tickets but day pass would be better for us as we loved mountain coaster.
Awesome as always. Well organized and staff are friendly, even regarding current regulations which can be difficult to enforce with large crowds. Solid place to spend a few days skiing.
Revelstoke Mountain Resort offers activities for all seasons. You can hike and bike in the summer and play in the powder in the winter. Great for families looking to get away for a holiday.
Nice skiresort with a lot of freeride possibilities
Stayed at the Sutton while checking out the mountain for a few days this past winter. Skiing was incredible the first day, great snow and unlimited runs. Day two was unfortunately canceled due to high winds and lots of rain, BUT the resort was great and provided us with a voucher for a day pass that we will be using this year. Can't wait to go back.
We had to try the coaster and it was as much fun as we hoped! The views are SPECTACULAR!
We did not stay at the resort but we bought the all day adult pass to do all the activities in the area! Highly recommend the all day pass, gives you access to the axe throwing, the gondola(unlimited times), disc golf, the pipe coaster(twice) and the aerial park they have. The pipe coaster has a long line up but it's virtual! So you don't actually have to wait around. We just did all the other activities in the mean time and came back for the coaster! Definitely worth the wait. It was a wonderful experience.
Had a family trip booked with 12 adults in feb. just cancelled it because we wont participate in showing papers in order to snowboard outside.
We were in town to go biking a few weeks ago and rented from the rental shop. Although we had an unfortunate issue with one of the bikes we rented, Sam (in rentals) was very professional and understanding and resolved the issue quickly. He was very pleasant and saved the tone of an otherwise disappointing day.
So much fun summer activities for the family especially the pipe mountain coaster. Beautiful view in the top.
Best mountain Ive ever skied, and I have skied plenty of places in Sweden, France and the US. Huge diverse and challenging terrain
Loved this mountain. Lots of powder. Runs were good. My number 2 all time best mountain to snowboard
What a fantastic day!!! We pre-purchased our tickets for the pipe coaster, and the only sad part was that the ride wasn't longer! Sooo much fun. Great amenities for such a new set of facilities. The gondola was only open for the lower half, as it was early in the season, but the views are spectacular, and only a few minutes drive from town. We'll absolutely go back!
My wife and I went down the Mountain Coaster on the August Long Weekend, it was awesome! Tons of fun! My wife also lost her iPhone halfway down the ride. JP (employee) who was working at the top, went above and beyond to walk the track in 30 degree weather to ensure my wife got her phone back. This is amazing customer service and JP is a wicked employee! Thanks JP, we will be back next year!! Thank you.
Good snow, huge vertical, and great skiing. Perfect!
Wonderful Place to snowboard or ski. First time here and it's beautiful. Slopes are suitable for my level. Definitely coming back... so many amazing things to do. Snowmobile, snowboard, atv trails, beautiful river. And more. Would absolutely love to live here.
The kids had a great time, mountain coaster was a lot of fun. Matt at the Aerial park was amazing with the kids. Everything was clean and sanitized, social distancing was in place and we felt safe. So much fun!!!
If it is in your budget, treat yourself and stay at the Sutton Place Hotel on the resort. It is currently the only hotel on the resort. It's really nice. This is a big mountain, but has very good signage on the mountain showing where different runs are. If you are an advanced skier, you will get the most out of it, as there are a lot of glades and steep runs, but even less experienced skiers have a lot of terrain to explore and The Last Spike run is a nice easy way down.
Very busy but worth it. The Rollercoaster is fantastic. Get the day pass and pay attention to your ticket number for the pipe so you don't wait around all day. The are throwing and gondola is also great.
Stoke climb to 5620 is challenging and a great ride. 5620 is all that is advertised and more.
Son loved it. Gondola was good, lines were small and the mountain coaster son wanted to go more than twice but only 2 times allowed on the day pass. Additional coaster ride was over priced at $30 each. Yes would reccomend for families.
As of Dec 14, Only the slopes above the gondola are open. Great snow on open slopes, especially after the overnight 20cm dump on Dec 13/14. Crews groomed most green/blue runs before both days we skied. The resort verifies vaccination status before you can ski, so we felt safe. Roads from the lower mainland are closed so resort was quieter than normal. We saw only one lift line in two days. Had to quit early both days because we skied so much vertical. Already planning next trip to Revy......
Sorry not many pictures right now... to busy enjoying the experience! Come enjoy it yourself! but help keep recy the small town feel everyone loves!
Wow! You need to ski here in the winter and Rollercoaster down the mountain in the summer. Way to much fun for the whole family. Gift giving, skiing packages available for the whole family.
Short lines, highest vertical in North America, enough snow for everyone. Great place.
Amazing location. Took the gondola and they are cleaning each cabin . Impressed and felt safe. Bought tickets online, cheapest. The hike on the top is marked at medium but is more on the easy side, with very nice views. Personnel really keeps the social distance, lots of signage. The restaurant was quite busy on Saturday night and felt too many people, so we didn’t stay.
Best mountain in N.A. Since owners aren't skiers, they continue to miss the mark relative to on Mountain food and beverage. As long as they apply their Moxy's/Chop mentality, that part of one's day is a bust. No more Baguette up top. Best pack a lunch like the old days at Whistler and picnic somewhere! Can't beat the snow and lack of crowds!
Sick on a pow day, avoid Lower part of mountain however. Stick to the ripper chair.
Lots of fun. There were alot of people but it didn't feel like it. You get a ticket and they post the ticket range so you know when to line up. We had to wait about 45 minutes but we were able to walk around and shop etc while waiting; only had to wait in line for less than 10 minutes.
We had a blast on the Pipe Mountain Coaster and walked the shop area grounds for a short bit. Then we had lunch at the hill at the only restaurant that was open, the Rockford Grill...I would not recommend the wings...they were tiny, dry and tasted old. Very YUCK! The calamari & aoili dip was yummy, but the steak dinner was cold when it arrived and was way overpriced for the portion ($29 6oz sirloin with 1/2cup of mashed potatoes & 4 small pieces of carrots & squash). We were not impressed with the food at all, but the service was great. We did not complain, we just won't go back.
Stopped by on my way through to try out the mountain pipe coaster and buffet breakfast. The staff was very helpful and happy. The gondola up to the ride/buffet isn't very long but it's enjoyable and feels very safe. The rides speed is easily controllable, it's not very long though but for the experience I think it was worth it. I went up again for the buffet after, the food was very good. Scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon, eggs beny, hash browns, toast, waffles and omellettes, fresh fruit. I plan on going again if I pass through Revelstoke again.
Very cool ski resort. Though few lifts, the lines haven't been an issue, all moved fast. Lots of runs of all skill levels. The coolest thing is how the runs are routed: when skiing with friends of different ski levels, you can split up and meet at the next trail merge. When i got a bit tired, I really enjoyed the very long green run down which took about 30 minutes and i was able to just chill and let the gravity take me down at a reasonable speed.
Great runs. Fun groomed trails and glades. Helpful staff in the retail shop at the base. Cheeseburger at the cafe mid mountain was delicious. Great views
The mountain ride is totally worth it. The góndolas are very scratched but still a gorgeous view. The walk to the falls is also fantastic. Do bring mosquito repelent.
Great runs, very little queue, challenging. I would highly recommend visiting Revelstoke.
Summer: Looks like Revelstoke Mountain Resort is making itself known. They have a sweet coaster ride that can reach up to 42 km/hr down the mountain. If you're in for a thrill check it out. You can bring a toddler over 3 yrs old and over 38 inches with you. The resort building is nice with a hotel included. Looks like it has most of the amenities you would look for in a 5 star resort.
Excellent summer activity. The mountain rollercoaster is amazing and was well worth the drive from Edmonton. The views from the lower gondala were stunning. Will be back in the winter.
Some of the best skiing in Canada. Highly recommend it. Not a beginner mountain, however lots of steep runs and deep snow. Good food and drink at the Rockford at the hill bottom.
Great mountain biking and skiing/snowboarding
Went up for the day with my two kids and we had a blast! Started off with the Aerial Adventure while we waited for the Pipe Coaster. My 10 year old was skeptical to go by himself at first but after the first run he wanted to go much faster. After our second run we did the axe throwing activity which was awesome for my 14 yr old daughter. We rode the gondola up to the summit, but it was pretty cold so we came down and did the 9 hole disc golf course (can you say mosquitoes?). All this was about $150 for the day pass for us which included all of the above (×2 coaster ride, x1 axe throw, Unlimited gondola and Aerial Adventure, and the disc golf). Only downside was the wait for the coaster... they said half an hour when we bought the tix but ended up being 2.5 hours. I would suggest going up early when they open, get the tix and then do the coaster first. Other than the wait it was well worth the price for the family for the entire day!
I love this resort and will come back again.
The pipe coaster was super fun. Got stuck behind a frightened newbie on our first run, so we had to go VERY slow. Talked with the staff, and they hooked us up with a do-over! So good.
Great mountain and terrain but really needs more infrastructure and investment. Lift queues on a weekend we're awful and would put me off going back
Was a great kids had lots of fun Scheduling to get on the gondola Which terrible the staff didn't even seem to know when we should be there.
My bf and I love this resort. We have been in the summer and in the first weeks of winter and both were spectacular. We love the restaurants on site (get a burger at mackenzie outpost), the gondola and the PIPE MOUNTAIN COASTER (it's a must). We will definitely be back (again).
Such a fun place if you are a outdoor lover! We loved mountain coaster, aerial and hike! Great ideas to utilize the resort during the summer! I liked they take a picture before and during the pipe coaster and can purchase for $10 either data or printed. You can bring some snacks and have a picnic too. Parking is not too far and was free. Great place for older kids too!
Great place to spend a day or 2. Beautiful view from the top of the lift. Mountain coaster was great. Well run. Staff was all friendly/ helpful.
It was okay, got the play all day pass and went on the adult jungle gym essentially ???? long wait though. They also sold us tickets for the mountain coaster that were #s they wouldn’t get to that day.... Show up 1/2 hour before they open or more. We got refunded for the mountain coaster luckily but sucks cause it was our only day to go.
We went specifically to ride the pipe mountain coaster. It was $25 for adults and the little kids sit on your lap for $10. It is a little jerky in spots but quite fun, my 5 year old had a blast. We will probably go again next year. They also take your picture at the start of the ride so you can purchase your memory for $10. The ride is about 1.5km with about a 300m change in elevation top to bottom, it is not scary and you control your own speed with a braking lever. I would suggest letting gravity do it's thing and just brake hard before the corners and big drops... also where they say BRAKE. Try it out, just the ride up on the gondola is worth the price as the veiw is outstanding (as with a ski pass once you have a ticket you can ride the gondola up and down all day.)
Amazing pizza and beer place. Beer is extremely cheap for the large sizes. Pizza also very tasty too. Recommend coming here early as busy and get fulls very quickly
Best skiing conditions yet. Some steep runs, and some breathtaking scenery along the way. My legs were happily exhausted when I left.
Fun place nice trails lots to do
Kid couldn't go on coaster cause of a worn out piece of tape said he was to short. When my tape measure clearly say proper height. Then customer service was helpful or nice to a 3 year old
not to busy although with ikon pass and for next season it may become more busy. great staff! But seasons pass cost is up with no real improvement to the mountain. The best skiable terrain requires hiking for the most part but supposedly will have lift access at some point. There was no terrain park for the 2020 2021 season which was annoying as the pow days were not as significant as past years along with most of lower mountain being unsuitable. hopefully see a bit of a terrain park this coming season and new lift access or the price of the lift ticket will not be worth it compared to all other resorts.
Great mountain for the avid snow rider! Amazing snow quality, vast mountain, beautiful views.
It's an amazing mountain resort. Worth a trip and/or spot on your bucket list.
Unfortunately we didn't really expect the looooooooooòng wait!!!! we placed our reservation 24 hrs advanced. When we arrived we got the printed ticket from customr service and went to another kiosk to get the que tickets. Then the waiting starts as soon as you have the que tickets. If you have plans for the day just leave the pipe mountain coaster its not worth the wait.
Great hill, well laid out. I just wish the warming huts were open.
longest line up for a gondola on the planet. One lift from base , two chair on top , not counting the children's lift they built....haven't built anything for real skiiers since they "bought " the mountain years ago. close early every year now and blame it on covid . have to be vaccinated to ride the lifts but not stay at the hotel.... safety measures and reduced gondola rules have been abandoned as the vaccine is apparently 100 percent effective.
Due to inclement weather and clouds socking-in the upper elevations, we did not have an opportunity to ride the gondolas at Banff or Jasper, so this was our last opportunity. It was a blue sky day and we were able to buy our tickets on the spot with only a short wait to ride. The parking lot is large and it is free to park, as you park with the resort guests. It was early enough so that the lines were not too long yet. The Revelstoke Gondola is at the Revelstoke Mountain Resort, but non-guests like us could ride as well. We enjoyed the ride up and the view of the town and the river with the mountains behind was very nice. We were a teeny bit disappointed that the gondola only went halfway up the mountain, or at least that appeared to be the case. There is also a 'pipe' ride available, where one rider sits in an open car which straddles a pipeline, as it runs down the mountain side. This is a separate admission from the gondola, or you can buy a combo package. You may also choose to buy a package that includes the gondola ride and breakfast in a special dining room away from the gondola equipment. This is where the restrooms up there are. Bring a jacket as it can be breezy at the gondola area. And the sun is intense so sunscreen might be important as well.
This mountain has great terrain!!! Great views and wonderful staff! Unfortunately this year they decided to go Vax pass to ski there. So I have to decrease my review as a whole as I do not believe in any kind of segregation
Amazing place to stay!! The room was great just abit tight in the dinning area, but amazing appliances and the pool area was great. There is so much to do even in the summer, mountain biking, a roller coaster, and an arial park.
One of the best hills in North America, great snow, great views and a wonderful place to enjoy winter.
Definitely one of my favourite mountains. Terrain for every skier
Close to downtown Revelstoke. Popular all season resort. Hotel, Restaurants, Pubs, and Shops in village. The Pipe single seat mountain coaster. Good hiking with great views of the local mountain ranges. Good winter ski runs.
The day pass is at a good and fair price for all the activities you get to do. Great for families with kids.
We enjoyed our stay there. Resort is superb. Restaurant is very good.
Unfortunately current unecessary draconian covid-19 restrictions and PoV requirements will keep my family and friends from ever visiting here again simply because this violates Canadian Civil rights and liberties. Spend your money elsewhere and NOT in Revelstoke.
Went a week after opening and there wasn't fresh snow since. Still good fluffy powder in spots, great terrain
The mountain biking is really good. A nicely graded up track with shade most of the way up and then some incredibly fun, and not too technical, downhill. I'm more of a trail rider generally, but was able to handle the big berms and most jumps just fine on my trail bike.
The rollercoaster is incredible. Laughed like a kid. So much fun. Beautiful. Amazing trails and scenery
Great powder and glades that you can slay all day. My only complaints are that their are too many cat tracks and traverses due to lack of lifts. Also save your legs and take the gondola down at the end of the day, that section isn’t that good to ski
Very friendly staff. Everything is clean and Covid safe. Only let down is parking can be tricky. Lots of big trucks in the car and small suv lot. We got boxed it
Amazing views. Modern resort. Great skiing one day is not enough.
I visited this place in July and again in September. It was packed in July and had to wait 2 hrs to get into pipe mountain coaster. It was empty in September. I recommend to visit this place in late summer. Do visit Williamson lake near Revelstoke Mountain resort.
Love the rail coaster, the views, the beer, and the staff were awesome. I cant wait to go back. I would highly suggest the day pass, even if you don't get to do it all.
