I've been to the Reid Park Zoo many times since childhood. There have been many exciting upgrades for example the elephant exhibit. That was a huge upgrade. On this visit I was with my children 13 & 9. It was fun, a bit crowded for my liking. We only stayed a hour or so. Heads up their South American area is under construction, so that entire side is closed. I wish they had information about it listed on their website. The main reason we had gone was because my daughter is doing a project on anteaters. So a bit disappointing, but besides that it was a fun activity for the afternoon.

Loved it! Small enough that the children were able to walk the whole park without getting tired. Big enough for a rhino, lions, and giraffes. Will definitely be back!

Busy place to be and only $10.50 admission. There were lots of different animals to look at and lots to learn. Other than the crowds it was very enjoyable. Also a food court here if you get hungry. Gift shop didn’t have a huge selection to choose from. Overall, super fun day.

This is a small but very nice zoo with good spaces for the animals. We especially enjoy the elephants, walk-in aviary and meerkat. You can easily spend 3-4 hours here.

we always enjoy going to the zoo..zoo nights are amazing...zoo lights are a highlight of the year..any time of the year is a good time to stop by and say hi to all the cute and active animals that live here..the elephants are almost always playing and the girafes never loose there majesty...beware of the peacocks

I can’t say I’ve been to a ton of zoos but this by far has been my favorite. You can actually see all the animals and get some good photos to share. They have lots of animals to see & they decorate for each holiday it’s so fun!

They have improved the size of the habitats for the larger animals considerably … great viewing in the AM during the winter as all the animals are looking for their hidden food. Hope the giraffe enclosure gets an update soon… it’s been a couple of decades and I’m sure they’d appreciate it!

This is the best zoo I have ever been to. First time visiting, and it is clean and there is shade everywhere so not hot at all. Best part was all the exhibits are laid out so we could see the animals in every enclosure. There were not any animal "no shows". Highly recommend Reid Park Zoo to everyone and their families. Can't wait to come back for Christmas lights in the zoo.

This zoo was perfect! It is a perfect size where you can see everything within about 2 hours and the quality is great! There are animals here that I have never seen before in my life. I loved watching the Meerkats. I bought my tickets in advance and the zoo was not busy when I visited on a weekday. I loved seeing the baby elephant and they have a lot of elephants!

We went mid morning which was a great time. A lot of animals were out and about. An area was closed off so the route we had to take was less than ideal but we had a good time. Clean. Good price.

I love this Zoo! It is small enough to accomplish in one outing but big enough to keep us entertained for hours. The staff are always friendly, the grounds are always clean and their animals always look well cared for. I can't wait to see what else the zoo decides to do and how they will expand.

This place is small compared to most zoos I've been too, but wow it's absolutely amazing. Staff is amazing being nice and so knowledgeable. The animals were out and playful at 2pm when we were there. Just a lot of fun!

I was very surprised by this zoo. There were lots of cool animals to look at and read about. You also learn a bit about conservation and things you can do to help the environment and the animals that live in it. This won't take a huge chunk out of your day. I stopped to see every animal and read their information signs, only took about 2 and half hours. You will walk but it's only a couple miles to see everything.

Great zoo, especially for kids. Small enough to cover in a couple of hours and plenty of spots to duck under some shade. Even tho it's a small zoo, still has some big attractions such as elephants, giraffes, and lions. Got real up close with a rhino and Don't forget to catch the wild dogs playing in the water as well.

It is ok, I feel like the prices are a little high for the quality of zoo it is but it is fun. If you haven't been I do recommend it. It isnt like some of your bigger zoos but sometimes that is a good thing.

Great local zoo! My family (and especially my son) like to hit the zoos while on vacation. The Reid Park Zoo is well worth the visit. It is very affordable and there is plenty to see. My son really enjoyed the elephant exhibit and the giraffes The giraffe exhibit makes you feel as if you could reach out and pet them! It is not a very large zoo. So you could easily see it in an afternoon. Currently there is some construction going on, but it does not impact your visit. To zoo is located in Reid Park, so after your visit, stroll through the park!

Zoo visits are always fun! There’s a little market place to eat and a shop for souvenirs. The earlier you go the better for animal activity. Also if you’re going to shop bring a face mask with you.

A nice little zoo. It's very small. Easy to get around the entire zoo in under and hour and a half. There are many exhibits that are gone but overall it's a cute little zoo to visit. If you live in Tucson it's worth buying a membership.

Wonderful place to spend a couple of hours. Clean and well-kept. Lush trees, so it's even comfortable on a hot, sunny day. Beautiful animals and enclosures. Other fun activities like carousel and giraffe feeding and plenty of snacks (it's nice when all the food stands are open throughout, but they aren't always). Always a very nice visit!

Such a nice zoo! All the animals have large, nice enclosures and the zoo is well laid out so walking it is easy. There was only one place to eat when I visited, but it was clean and the prices were below $10 on most items.
