A place where nature and exploration go hand in hand. Amazing place to visit and take it all in. Crystal clear waters and blue skies had the birds chirping all around us. Great place for exercise for the whole family, seen people with dogs too. Lots of frogs and snakes by the water so it made it extra fun for the kids.

A very historic lighthouse and bird sanctuary. A paddling spot novice and sea faring folk. Public boat launch!

James Millen

(Translated) Full of ticks and jumping fleas. Stunted vegetation. The place did not send dreams. But it's nature, it's not the way to please us (Original) Pleins de tiques et de puces sauteuses. Végétation rabougri. Le lieu n'envoyait pas du rêve. Mais c'est la nature, elle n'est pas la pour nous plaire forcément

(Translated) We visited this place on September 8, 2020. Unwelcoming place, trails and facilities are closed. No one is there to explain and help us. Not worth the trip. Quiet place at the end of a long unpaved road. Good if you timred it with the migrant birds. Not much to see off season though, its windy and cold, no beach area, and can't see much without binoculars. Beautiful water color, sea blue and green, on a sunny day.

Wild and peaceful on weekdays Water views are amazing. Bird banding display spring and fall.

Larry Jensen

Great natural harbour, well protected from all directions, except East. Nice to see so many interested in critical bird count.

William Dempsey

There is not much here. It is a long walk to the light house. There is an outhouse. It is a popular spot for accessing the water. The beaches are river stone or slabs of limestone. There are signs posted, warning of tick infestations and there is wild parsnip everywhere. Be well prepared when you visit.

Jim Stowe

Pardeep Chahal

Good quiet and calm beach to sit at and enjoy some relaxing time.

Raychel Lynn

I love how simple it is, and how wildlife friendly it is! We went with my son's class for a school trip and it was amazing. The kids all had fun and we learned a lot of things about wildlife !

Very disappointing experience. We got there and the place looked abandoned. There was no staff at all (it was a Tuesday morning) … There’s nothing to see. there is a warning to be aware of ticks carrying Lyme disease.. We got there and turned right around. Hope y’all have a better experience than we did but we would never return to this forsaken place

We arrived around 10am to see the bird banding in late August. Very knowledgeable and friendly staff let us and our children get a close look at about 10 beautiful birds. Afterward, they allowed the children to release them carefully and respectfully into the wild. Trails are well groomed....nets were in place to temporarily capture the migrating birds...mostly Warblers for the purpose of banding. Very educational and peaceful. We plan on returning to see the Owls in October.

Great views and a few nice hikes along the beach. Nothing too long. Worth it for the drive alone. A few really nice places going up on the road so I'm sure there's more development to follow.
