The dog beach is one of the city's examples of going through the motions, but not making a great experience for users. The beach is not cleaned daily, as is the section outside the gates. There is glass in the water daily that patrons need to pick up themselves; the waste bags are not regularly topped up; and there's no attempt at amenities for the dog owners. And they wonder why dog owners use the other beaches in town.

I went to three concerts at Peachfest this year: Kim Mitchell, April Wine, and George Canyon! All three concerts were great and different, the outdoor venue is fabulous though it gets crowded for popular events. Last year I saw The Powder Blues Band in the same venue and bought an autographed cd. My one complaint is about the littering by fellow concert attendees and that there are not enough garbage cans or recycling bins. I am looking forward to next year and seeing more than just the music! A great reason to visit or live in Penticton!!!!

Beautiful lake with tons of beach space and things to do. I personally love the Peach Shack!!! The dog Beach was a real bonus, my pooches loved getting their paws wet. I was a little surprised at how much broken glass littered the beach. In the half hour we were in the dog Beach we found the equivalent of two bottles.

Just came home from viewing some excellent singing artists on stage for Country Night at Peachfest. Great venue, great artists, good music, lots of mini-donuts, french fries, iced capps, ice cream, tacos and... well, you get the picture by now. Lots of boats pulled up on shore of Okanagan Lake listening to the music. Lots more people sprawled on the grass or lounging on lawn chairs (like we did). Four days of the best entertainment, all free. Nothing else like it in Canada.

I had an hour or so to kill while my girlfriend was at a dentist appointment and ended up wandering over into this gem. It was the off season, so the park was quiet. A great spot to take in the lake or bird watch.

Okanagan Lake Park is located non the East Side of the Okanagan lake in Penticton. I like coming here to relax and be inspired by nature. From views into the lake to admiring the wild life and big fish in the pond, there’s always something new to discover.

I didn't realise I could review parks but ya this one alright. Grass is pretty good and it's neat idea you can beach your boat to pick up people, thought right next to an open dog beach might result in possible collision but here's to hoping it doesn't. The one issue I do have is the welded shut washrooms due to vandalism like come on people vandalism the outside so we can at least get the privilege of going when we need to

City does a great job of staging special events here, and the rest of the time it is a marvelous green space with a killer view of Okanagan Lake. Short stroll over a footbridge gets you to the Japanese Garden and even more greenspace.

The Okanagan is just simply beautiful at any time of the year, And Penticton stands out as being a city with pretty much everything that you need. Okanagan Lake and the park is just so nicely done with the excellent walkway and bike paths and the outdoor swimming play area. You just don't want to leave.

Beautiful spot. Some nice beach with good sized green space behind. Penticton Creek trail starts here which is a great walk for 6 km round trip if you want to go that far!. There is also a fenced off dog beach where you can take your furbaby for a swim.
