Great place in the morning to see sunrise

Great views from this park on a clear day

The other half are doing well lol

It's a great place to hang out, especially if you like being by the water and looking out into the horizon where sky and water become one!

Awesome date location. A little bit off willows beach too, so it's fairly quiet.

One of the most beautiful spots in Victoria. Great for dog walking except it is closed in the spring for a couple of months for nesting birds.

Great beach for rock hounds! ????

Ok park when i compare with others. Was very wet...not as beautiful to me as others but maybe this time of year is not the best to experience it.

Beautiful views! When it is Sunny you can see Mt. Baker across the water.

Great spot with excellent views.

Beautiful natural Gary Oak ecosystem

Great place for families and dogs!

Great walking trails

Beautiful outdoor gathering place for families, naturalists, schools and Scouts Canada troops. Nice diversity of plants. Not a place to dig and disturb as there are indigenous burials and significant sites that shouldn't be disturbed. If its rained in the last few days it would be prudent to bring a pair of Wellington boots as it can be marshy in spots.

Gorgeous wilderness park. Lots of Garry Oak and Hawthorne. Beautiful meandering trails and rocky plateaus. No washrooms, not wheel chair accessible. Not fenced. Off-leash park for dogs except April-june.

Really nice! great place for a walk

Incredible park. Decent coastline, lovely views, great hiking.

Scenic place, great place to take photos!

Benches cool shade

Awesome place wish I took some pictures. Saw otters cool!

Stopped here for 20 minutes on a bus tour.. would like to go back and spend a lot more time there!

Lovely and serene. Views for days, sometimes you could get lucky and see river otters and/ orca whales. Always a fun time for my family! ????

Don't go at dusk in the summer.. mosquitoville

Do yourself a favour and check it out, wild woods hidden in the suburbs.

Beautiful wild spot with lots of birds and wildflowers

Hands down, my favourite park in Victoria; especially in Spring. The Common Camas comes alive in Spring, paintbrushing the expansive, oak-tree dotted fields with purples and blues. Very relaxing and there are a ton of paths.

great place to walk and hangout

Beautiful Park which has been left in its natural state showing how this pay off the city looked like before development

Nice place.

The Beach Drive site seeing drive is perfect for those wishing to show off Oak Bay's beautiful scenery. The slow drive through Uplands Park is a must especially for tourists who are disabled or perhaps elderly and unable to trek the network of amazing wilderness trails in the park. The boat ramp areas have plentiful parking , again especially for those with mobility issues and serve as wonderful photo op sites. The seabirds are prolific in the park as are other sea critters like Otters as well as several fairly 'tame' Deer. This is a wonderful, history-rich location and a must see for anyone touring the region. The views of the USA are gorgeous from this spot as well as being one of the best star gazing locations for its lack of streetlamps. Truly an Oak Bay gem.

A beautiful place to go for a walk, enjoy the cool air and ocean. Amazing views of the mountains.

Very pretty place and well taken care of.

Great place for a stroll and the cenotaph is lovely.

Nice place to spend the day

Unspoiled natural Gary Oak meadows. Fronts down to Cattle point. Usually pretty quiet and good for a ramble

Visited day and night time. Both amazing view. A little bit scary at night if you are alone. Guaranteed to be back when it's not too cloudy!

Great place to spend an afternoon. Even better if your a bird lover.

Beautiful morning at Cattle Point.

A Majestic place where to find yourself... You should come

I've lived in Oak Bay for 8 years and never visited this amazing park. It's like a beautiful wilderness right in the city. So many trails to wander easily along; it doesn't matter whether you go left or right at the fork, you never get lost. You are alone (perhaps with your dog, off-leash!) most of the time, but say easy Hello's with other park-goers and dog lovers when paths meet. Marvin (my pup) and I strongly recommend checking out this peaceful gem!

A great place to walk the trails with the kids and the pooch.

Nice little waterfront park just jam-packed with Garry Oak trees. It’s a really nice bit of wilderness in the middle of the city. The park is largely undeveloped and, as such, is brimming local with plant and animal life. It’s a great place for a picnic or a stroll. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area and looking for a quiet place to be in nature.

Beautiful

Breathtaking views! Worth the stop!

So beautiful, especially on a sunny day ☀️

Beautiful area.

I grew up near this park. It is a great place for a walk. Lots of wild flowers in the spring. It can be pretty muddy in the winter and spring so you need appropriate footwear.

Right now is the best time to visit Uplands Park! Fields of Camas Flowers are in bloom right now and its stunning! The Garry Oaks look nice and green too! Check out the video I made and uploaded to my YouTube channel! My channel is named after me, and the video is called "Fields of Camas Flowers: A Stroll Through Uplands Park!" Please subscribe to my channel if you like gardens; I'll be doing more videos in the Victoria area!

Walk along the water that seems like part of the larger trail network. Cool place to hang out when sightseeing near Victoria.

A nice large natural area with lots of trails.

An un-cultivated park with natural foot paths. Shooting Stars, Faun Lillies , and Camus all appear in their seasons. As of April 1 the paths are still mud in many places.

Wonderful park for walks.

A beautiful park that displays a rare ecosystem within Canada: The Garry Oak Ecosystem. Any time of the year is great but particularly the spring is a lovely time to visit when the wildflowers are in bloom. Many dog walkers frequent its rocky escarpment and many trails.

Great place to see wildlife and old people in a natural setting. Oh and a pretty kickass view of Baker

Great place to walk your well behaved dog off leash. I look for bird in the park and have found dozens of species. Wild flowers when in bloom are beautiful.

Great for dog walking fall winter and spring

Best Place!

Uplands park is located in Oak bay, Victoria, BRITISH COLUMBIA. It’s very adjacent to to the city center of Victoria. Overall it is a good place to visit.

When the daylight is right you can see Mount Vesuvius or K2 or whatever shining over in America to the east. The distant mountain is a beacon of freedom that serves to remind us Canadians to turn to capitalism -and indeed its champion America- for guidance lest we persist in our pitiful squalor across the water here in the shanty town of Victoria.

Nice park and beach. Beautiful rocky areas near the beach and in the park.

Nice simple green space with a free boat launch. And sometimes a piano.

A great place to jog!

One of the loveliest walks in Victoria.

Great spot for late night star gazing. If it's a clear night you might catch myself down at the cattle point boat launch with the telescope????

Nice park, lots of paths and can go exploring for quite a while inside however, when it rains can become a giant mud pit

Beautiful view, it's quiet, private, and chill. Good place to hangout, one of my "Secret place"

Nice view and good spot for taking pictures and walking along the ocean

Big in-city park with lots of trails

Always lovely. Any time, any season, rain or shine.

Swampy in the raining seasons, full of mosquitos in the dry.

Great park, go in spring to see the Camas!

Lots of great trails. Come at night for extra spookiness

Nice walking park

Great combo of ocean, beach and woods

We had a great visit, geocaching and taking photos and looking and listening for birds. Everything was wet as we just missed the rain. This is one of our favourite parks to explore.

Wild and beautiful! Love the views!

Beautiful spot to just enjoy.

Beautiful place to relax and go swimming.

Nice place to chill and enjoy the view.

Great spot.

Beautiful place to go explore in town

Wilderness walkways in the middle of a suburban area make for a pleasant stroll. It is a very popular place for taking the family pets for a walk. The trails are well defined through lots of use. Cross Beach Drive Road with caution to stroll the waterfront along Cattle Point. There is a parking lot and boat launch ramp in this area.

This beautiful Park is enormous. With waterfront and woods the park is alive with wildlife. I was there for Remembrance Day and the crowd is slowly coming back.

Beautiful walks through the Garry Oak ecosystem. Excellent bird watching. Highly recommended! Dogs must be kept on-leash during spring nesting season, April 1 - June 30

Nice place to walk the beach and next to the water

Quite muddy on the paths so wear boots in April.

Great Oceanside park space

Nice place for soul relaxing ...

Nice photogenic place ????????

Beautiful place to walk with my dog

Lovely water views in a great park. Can be a lot cooler than even a couple meters inland

Serene beauty, go discover battery nature

Lots of trails.

Beautiful spot to watch the sunrise

Went for a walk and threw the chuck-it ball in the water with the pooch and we both loved it! I could tell she loved it as the ball was water logged and my arm a wee bit tired!!! Highly recommend this for the humans and animals or if the humans just want to walk and relax? But was a great time for sure!!!!

I just drove through, I'm not rich enough to actually go here.

Great park

Get outside, unplug and move..great place to do that.

Lots of paths through here so easy to get lost so make sure you have plenty of time. Very rewarding views and the glengarry oaks are amazing - especially amongst all the wildflowers!

great place to walk...put your boat in the water....etc

Very beautiful and scenic. Victoria should be on everyone's bucket list. The beauty cannot be described.

Very muddy

Nice small loop around the water. The inner trail is confusing, one can easily get lost without knowing which way to turn.

The beginning of August is great for blackberry picking. And a great dog or person walking spot in Victoria.

It has a beautiful view

The best sunrises!

Great for a walk. Scenic view.

very nice view on the sea, the strait Juan de Fuca and the mountains olympics (us) in front

We were there for veterans day

Peaceful, quiet running trails in the urban backyard

gorgeous site, great place to find somewhere peacful and just enjoy the sound of ocean.

it's historical beach story of old century of British Columbia

A public space in the exclusive (ie rich) area of Victoria. Pick up after your dog!

Fun place for all.

Delight full place to wonder around volcanic rocks the geology phenomenon well kept and environmental friendly kept

Preserved Garry Oak ecosystem, gorgeous in the spring, off leash for dogs July through March.

Sitting relaxing. Like hitting the reset button after a busy day. So glad to live close by here.

Very Bujey beach is deteruorating over time.

A big natural park you could spend a day exploring on its many trails, and by the water at low tide.

Great for a quiet walk and break from the seaside wind. Flat surface makes easy access for everyone. Dogs seem happy here too!

A great place to go with your child.

neat, small, natural park with lots of trails for little ones to explore.

The Gary Oaks in this park are gorgeous in a Gothic sort of way. A very nice place to stroll on a lazy sunny afternoon.

Scenic

Great place to walk. Can go on the beach or the park through some very interesting local plant life. Facilities are well taken care of.

Very peaceful and beautiful

Historic landmark. Boat ramp to the ocean. Nice view of Oak Bay and Estevan beach.

Oceanside, how can it be less than 5 stars?

Great park to walk for a few hours

Uplands is a beautiful park where your dogs can be offleash most o the year. April 1 - June 30 dogs must be on leash during wildflower blooming. The park is filled with trails, meadows and small fields. Lots of Garry Oak trees!

Lovely place. Park with old trees, sea shore with lots of benches and easy paths.

Best sandy beach around. Beautiful views.

A beautiful piece of nature in the middle of our community.

Lots of trail systems which is nice but they have roped off all the big trees because if people came within 30ft of the trunks then the soil would erode and the trees would fall over. If I wanted to see roped off nature I would go to Buchart Gardens. Do better Oak bay. I'd you want to go to a place where your kids can be free and you dont need to worry about rope guards, go to elk/beaver lake. Way more better. 3stars only because the rocks look like a fun place for my rock crawlers. But I'm sure there is also a ban on radio transmission in close proximity of the trees too.

Eco system with various plants and wildlife

Quiet place, kind of spooky, I'd avoid this area if I was a family with kids.

Lots of parking

Love this wild park.Wear boots in spring. The paths can be very mucky! Right now they're little rivers.

Love this park. Relaxing ????????????

Uplands an urban treasure. Can get muddy in the winter, and the delicate and rare ecosystem should really have dogs on leash at all times.

It is beautiful

Great spot to sit and think

Enjoy this drive, the landscape/seascape and looking at the homes.

Beautiful

Awesome place to walk dogs

Absolutely stunning

Very easy walking. Peaceful.

Great tidepooling, great views.

Nice park. Wouldn’t go out of your way to visit but it’s nice to see land set aside for park in such an expensive neighbourhood.

Not a nice place.
