You will see the opinions of real people like you who bought the products of The Butchart Gardens (Zoo) in Oak Bay (Canada).
Right now this firm gets a rating of 4.7 over 5 and that score has been based on 127 reviews.
As you can see the average of ratings that it reaches is almost the best one, and it's based on a large number of scores, so we may be quite sure that the evaluation is quite faithful. If people have bothered to evaluate when they are satisfied, it works.
As you know, we do not usually stop to give opinions when they are good and we usually do it only if we've had a problem or incidence...
This Zoo is included in the category of Garden.
We went to see the Christmas lights display and it is worthy, it is a short 15 minute drive from Downtown Victoria. We spent around 2 hours walking, sipping coffee and taking pictures. It’s really beautiful!
So pretty! But if you need a wheelchair watch out there are lots and lots of hills. Absolutely gorgeous rose gardens but they are kind of like a maze so it's kind of easy to get lost in them. Just stop and smell the flowers!
The gardens are amazing So colorful and well maintained Must visit in Victoria
This is Disney World for an avid gardener. The gardens are immaculate. The grounds are impeccably kept. The gift shop had so many unique items, including seeds. If you don't see everything the first day, keep your ticket and you can come back The next day for only $3. My favorite was the Japanese garden. So peaceful and tranquil. Absolute must see I'd you visit Victoria.
The Butchart Gardens never cease to impress. Expertly curated all year round and massive gardens. Staff are professional at every level. I even had one gardener take a few minutes to talk about the hedges and provide me with some ideas for my own garden. Incredible!
Absolutely beautiful collection of gardens. I especially enjoyed the Japanese garden, which included a beautiful assortment of greenery and creeks to walk around. Really nice leisurely outdoor activity
Only reason one star is taken off, is for the price of entrance. However, it was so lovely there. I am sensitive to the heat and sun, and there were lots of shady places to sit for a little bit along the way. The gift shop is epic!
Stunning place!! Even off season (Corona season I mean..) Highly recommended !! Can definitely spend 3 hours there enjoy all the beautiful garden! Gelato place was amazing!!
One of the most beautiful place to visit on the island. I enjoyed every corner there and would love to come back again with my family, hopefully to stay late enough to see the fireworks. I think it’s best to visit the Butchart Gardens in summer when it’s warm and nice outdoors. Please note that I visited before covid so people didn’t have to wear masks back then.
Went to visit the gardens for the Xmas display. Looked awesome, had some complaints with social distancing. It's is recommended but not enforced, and with cases on the rise twas a concern. But the ambience was wonderful, had lots of fun looking at the lights and the 12 days of Xmas features????
This place is amazing, such a beautiful place. I admired it the whole time I was there, I strongly recommend it for nature lovers. It is so organized specially the staff. They were there to answer questions at all times. A top to do while in Victoria.
Always love visiting this place whenever I’m on the island. Wonderful variety of gardens to walk through with great choices for food and gifts afterwards. I’ve mainly visited during the summer season, but the autumn one was wonderful too (though the rose-garden wasn’t blooming, the Japanese garden was phenomenal). Will be back again next time I’m on the island!
Gorgeous place too visit definitely a must go when in the area! The japenese Garden was my personal favorite but there is tons of other places that we didn't even make it to in one day! Definitely need another visit lol The food was super good and service was pristine! I would totally reccomend this place for all ages as its fun too walk around and see all the waterfalls, flowers, plants and Trees!
Beautiful scenery, I love how they preserve the gardens and how they maintain it. You might see every kinds of plants, trees, shrubs, bushes, bonsai, flowers, vines everything! Every corner is Instagramable. A ravishing paradise for all the nature and flora lovers. The only cons to me is the washroom, which got me disappointed as they have very small and dirty.
Beautiful experience during their Christmas lights display. One of the best I’ve seen. Was all snowy and pretty.
The Christmas lights experience was incredible! Lived here my whole life and have never been. It was so stunningly beautiful. In addition to our beautiful walk, we enjoyed a Carousel ride and dinner and desserts. A perfect family night out!
One of my favourite places!!! Such a magical place to spend the day. Make sure to enjoy the gelato in the Italian garden.
Butchart gardens is in the Victoria Island in Canada. It has a variety of beautiful gardens that one can spend about 2 hours easily. There's a sunken garden which is very interesting that has a few levels of gardens going all the way down from a hill top. There are several ponds to add to the beauty. Rose gardens are very impressive. All are obviously very well maintained. There is a boat ride into the bay which was scenic. There is a ticket to be purchased. All in all, definitely worth visiting. The gift shop sells packets of seeds of some of the plants.
Lights, lights, LIGHTS! My Sister, Nephew, his wife and their baby, came to visit as I AM IN palative radiation treatments for cancer... BEAUTIFUL!! In the summer Butchart is breathtaking and wonderful, but they don't let winter steal the thunder! During the Christmas Holidays they create a BEAUTIFUL walk-through wonderland of music and lights! Don't miss it.
Wow. Wow. Wow. We were hesitant about this place to start because who would pay over $30 to visit a bunch of flowers? But O.M.G. it was incredible. Even for someone who is not much of a horticulture buff, you can appreciate the natural and man made beauty of the gardens - both colour and design are truly works of art. The Japanese gardens were my absolute favourite; a complete haven in the BC countryside. So worth a visit, you can see why this place is world renowned.
Amazing place, variety of plants. Looks fantastic and it smells so good there. Nice place to take a wonderful pictures especially for girls
Absolutely one of the most beautiful gardens I have ever seen. By the way, this is not usually my kind of gardens, but how everything is planted, planned, cared etc. is magnificent. Everything is just perfect. This place is magical. 36$ seems expensive but wait until you see the whole thing by yourself. It’s worth every penny.
Beautiful place. Haven't been there in over 20 years. Still fantastic as ever. The rose garden smells divine.
Great family friendly space for winter evenings. Wonderful service for a wheelchair user. It’s too bad the crowds (outdoors) were sometimes tricky to navigate with the narrow pathways in the dark.
Loved it. Awesome lighting on Chirstmas, coffee shop and handmade gift shop.
Loved every minute of the 2.5 hrs in the garden. Absolutely stunning, the staff were fantastic and informative. I want to visit every season now! I visited on Oct 22 and the weather was perfect.
Another beautiful garden which reminds me of Van Dusen Garden (although three times cheaper). Me and my wife went there and for the first time we found roses in full bloom (I myself am visiting for the second time). I really liked the Japanese garden and the Italian garden.
So many varieties of flowers! The sunken garden is absolutely breathtaking! The Japanese garden is very tranquil. Two hours is not enough time to really see it all. The two gift shops are quite nice as well. A nice selection of souvenirs and art. If I lived here, I would definitely get the yearly pass.
I have been at Butchart Gardens several times. I tried to be there in each season expect winter means Christmas time. The place has peaceful ambiance means You can really charge your batteries. During the pick season you have to be there early in the morning. Sometimes lines to the Gardens are lengthy. Food on the side and souvenir shops (no junks). Any time of the day is good for photos.
I absolutely adore Butchart Gardens and highly recommend going. One piece of feedback for admin: despite timed tickets for December 2021, it was still *very* crowded and that made it difficult to enjoy the visit.
the best garden I've ever been to! Highly recommended if you are a plant lover like us.
Who doesn't love butchart gardens?? My family has had seasons passes this year and it's the perfect Saturday morning activity (year round). We love to bring our dogs for a walk through the gorgeous garden loop and look forward to seeing a completely new view every couple of weeks!
Beautifully decorated for a lovely pre-Christmas visit. We had a lot of fun! The High Tea was also a unique experience ????
Really nice and beautiful garden to visit specially during Christmas and new year as you can see beautiful lights and fireworks. If you are photographer this place is for you.
The 12 Days of Christmas at Butchart Gardens with snow on the ground is so well done and a special experience!
Amazing time and extremely friendly staff at the high tea. We went at the end of the day and as long as you enter before 4pm you can stay until 5pm. There was barely anyone roaming around after 4pm.
Wow! Exceeded my expectations . Beautiful flowers and trees. Very clean grounds and plenty of benches to sit at and enjoy the gardens. They have a large gift and coffee shop as well. Good size parking lot and very clean bathrooms.
Fantastic garden, so beautiful with a wide selection of flowers, along with many different types of gardens, coffee shops and two different restaurants followed by a gelateria, me and my family had a wonderful time and will be back soon.
This place is soo beautiful! Pretty pricey but worth it! It gets really busy so it's better to go right when it opens.
Very unique and beautiful gardens some of the best I have ever seen! So many different trees and flowers and so much colour!
Amazing garden. We spent around 4hrs to explore entire garden. Wide variety of flowers.
What an amazing place to be filled with the most magnificent flowers. The garden is easy to find and getting tickets were a breeze. Plenty of parking (went on a Friday). Amenities: The park provides clear umbrellas for all to borrow, so no need to bring your own. The facilities are dated but clean. The Park: It took us about three hours to go through most of the park. Why most? Because we couldn’t actually figure out where it was. There are a lot of trails but not as many markers to point the way. So be ready and hand the park map to someone with a good sense of direction. Overall: It’s fun for all, as long as you don’t hate flowers. Very instagram-able place. They have afternoon tea in the garden as well so make sure to make a reservation!
We made a reservation for 5:15 & arrived at least 20 minutes early. Despite this it took us 70 minutes to get to the gate! This was mainly due to the confusion and numbers of cars at the Wallace drive intersection. There was nobody doing traffic control. This caused a great deal of frustration. Once inside we were disappointed to see that there was no skating, no carolers and no hot chocolate on the route. The light displays although lovely were all the same as previous years. Nothing new. It simply wasn't worth the $33. We won't be returning anytime soon.
Do not miss the holiday lights at Butchart Gardens. The best holiday light display!
When I retire, I want to live here! The history and story behind this property will warm your heart! It's an unbelievable experience and I would recommend taking your time strolling through. This is definitely a garden that you're not going to soon forget! There is a restaurant here, as well as a coffee counter with snacks and drinks.
Gorgeous park with different gardens from various countries. A must see if you have 2 to 3 hours to spent. Highly recommend the gelato place located in the Italian garden at the end of the tour.
Great time of year to go for a visit. Their COVID protocols are right on, and the lack of tourism at the moment translate into having the place pretty much to yourself. Two of the cafes (Main entrance and at the carousel) are still open and serve basic fares, and the store is open for business. The carousel is closed for obvious reasons during these COVID times. I have visited Butchart Gardens many times and the lack of people, while not ideal for business I am sure, made this last time quite remarkable. I highly encourage local people to go and support the gardens, this outing is a perfect is an ideal thing to do during COVID and military people still get in for free.
This place exceeded our expectations. The different gardens are beautiful and very well maintained. You can easily spent a couple of hours here walking thorough the different areas. All staff was super friendly at all times. I also recommend visiting the gift store which offers a wide variety of souvenirs and the dinning room where you can have the so popular “afternoon tea”. We’ll surely be back! :)
Absolutely gorgeous gardens. Not a lot of shade except in the areas around and in the Japanese Garden section, so be prepared with your preference of sun protection. The attention to detail in every section is just splendid, definitely worth the $36 adult admission. They also offer afternoon tea as well, which is a nice complement to a visit.
It has been awhile since I was last able to attend, and the walk through the Twelve Days of Xmas did not disappoint. This year, the layer of snow was added value.
Magnificent, one of the most beautiful places I have ever been to, totally worth it! Approx time 1 1/2 hr.
If you like gardens, it’s worth the money in my opinion. The variety of plants is astounding. It was a beautiful place to spend an afternoon.
Well worth thr visit ???????????? Spent 3 hours here (including an hour at Afternoon Tea - which was delicious) and could have spent more. Can be navigated with a wheelchair and many places to sit. Go early for less people and parking.
Wonderful place to visit while you are in Victoria, probably my most recommended of the whole island it is a must visit. The visit will take you from 1:30 - 3:00 hours depending on how fast you are, while the cost is a bit expensive once you enter the garden you will know why is it that much since taking care of such a huge garden takes money. The garden is divided into many sections including a Japanese garden, sunken garden, Italian garden and many more. They have many activities during the different seasons and in some day they also include fireworks, in my personal experience I went in summer which I can say that it was one of the best experiences.
Lots of colorful scenes roses flowers etc Loved this place very well organized and managed however it’s bit pricey 36$ for adult so group of four will be close to 150$ for a 2 hours tour won’t be there again unfortunately
A very beautiful place, visited during the quarantine period, everyone on the street must wear a mask and even to take a photo, the mask is not allowed to be removed, even if there are no people nearby. Not many people to visit. I definitely recommend visiting this beautiful garden, immersed in greenery and flowers.
Garden was beautiful but I wish it offered more things to see for the price. I believe the price was $35.99. I been to better botanical gardens and the hype around this isn't all that. Still good place to chill if you are in the town and dont mind wasting some $. Garden is definitely well maintained and nice family park.
What a beautiful garden, landscaping was well thought of and you can see and appreciate how well the place is maintained. Maybe a little pricey but you’ll know why once you get in, it’s worth every penny you paid.
100% the best gardens I have ever visited; so well maintained and just so pleasing to the eye. Well done!
What a fabulous garden. Meticulously maintained and perfect examples of landscaping & what grows in a Canadian climate. We loved all the different themes and found it inspiring for what we could do in our little home garden. Definitely doable in 1.5 hours if you like gardens and just want to visit. If you are serious about gardening & photography, we spent nearly 8 hours walking around and enjoying it all. We aspire to come back during different seasons. At the end of July we were lucky enough to catch dahlias and roses. We think the Japanese garden will be gorgeous in the fall.
So many different views. Great for photography, proposals, and sun tans. Bring a hat and sunscreen!
Such a beautiful place, looks and smells amazing! Strongly recommend. Suggest to go earlier in the morning for a less crowded experience.
Christmas light were super pretty. Best lights by far
Magical, wonderland. We weren't sure what to expect having traveled from Atlanta, GA. No word of mouth, no event calendar guiding us, just a sense of adventure. We were not disappointed. This place is special, a gem, a must see.
When my wife told me she booked this excursion to Butchart Gardens I thought I would be bored ????. To my surprise, this is no ordinary garden, I absolutely loved every minute of the experience! Huge thank you sweetie ❤ for initiating this outing! Your the BEST! Mad props to the grounds keepers there you have created a magical place. Thank you!!!
Gorgeous Garden. Must visit. Spectacular Xmas lights display. Nature's Paradise
I will be upfront I am not a plant person but I loved this place. It is strikingly serene and just magnificently tended to. We visited sept 28th and fall only made it seem more special. Plant lovers will be amazed, non plant lovers will be impressed fear not. The common thing I noticed was everyone was just amazed at the types and mixture of plant types. Worth the price, and would go again next visit.
An amazing amazing place. It's astonishing. Absolutely beautiful. If you like plants even a little. You will afore this place. The grounds are very well kept. The plants are stunning. There was a huge amount to see. And a ton of variety. We were on vacation and this was absolutely one of the highlights of our trip. You can also buy seeds in the gift shop. :) I would love to return here at some point.
One of the most beautiful classic gardens on the country. The Japanese garden manages to be serene even as multiple groups wander it's paths. It is definitely my favourite garden, though the sunken garden is breathtaking! Despite being busy, the gardens still offer small moments and spaces where you are alone and marvelling at the beauty that can be created by man's hands.
Breath taking views, amazing collection of gardens and flowers. A must see, the staff is amazing and very kind. The cresol ride was a lot of fun. The restaurant had good selection, only thing was the gift shop was bit over priced. Overall very happy, had a blast and got to learn in the process.
What an experience!! Amazing place to be and spent a full day if you love flowers and nature. Wonderful settings and arrangements and you have to visit all the different sections of the gardens. You can have all you want in a place like this, serenity, peace, views, very good food and coffee / tea options and a great gift shop. All the staff is doing an awesome job maintaining the place and assist you to have a nice day in the gardens. Give yourself a day or maybe more than that to enjoy them. A nice surprise was to see our flag (Greek) displayed at the Mediterranean gardens! Don't miss out on this if you are visiting Vancouver Island.
One of the must see place in Victoria. The entry is expensive but it is well worth it!!! Transit is good so even if you don't have a car, you can still get here
Very lovely garden, definitely worth visiting. Would get an annual pass if living nearby or have plans for multiple visits. Beware that Google Maps somehow navigated me through Finlayson Arm to get here, which was a very slow windy road.
We were there for the Christmas Gardens as part of my 50th birthday getaway. We have only been once before, separately, many years apart. It was BEAUTIFUL!! I can't wait to go back when the gardens are blossoming ❤️
Beautiful gardens... really one of the nicest ones I have ever been to.
One of the best places to see the nature closely.if you are nature lover then you should go.
This is a beautiful place to visit and walk through with more picture spots than you can count. The price might seem a bit steep to some for a garden but it's evident that a lot of work done to maintain the gardens and keep them as beautiful as they are. A lovely way to spend a couple hours if you're near Victoria.
Absolutely beautiful. A lot of fun looking for the parts of the song 12 Days of Christmas!
Christmas lights in Butchart gardens are extradionary, it's open till 9PM everyday. Me and my family had a nice walk around the garden. Overall a nice experience.
One of the best gardens I have seen so far.
Fantastic place to spend the day long with family or friends. I visit it to see the real roses beauty all almost kinds. The staff where friendly and all around to coordinate and help out. We’ve gotten it for ~ 70 (2 adults + 3 kids below 5 years) These is limited food options inside, so it might be a good idea to bring your own lunch. There is no issues in the parking, easily park and navigate. All in all, we had a great time and I can recommend it for my family and friends.
It was wow! A very huge, beautiful garden. You can spend more than two hours in the garden. The flowers are blooming and they really looks great! Look at these photos, and you can see how wonderful this garden will be. It's between April - May 2018.
Beautiful gardens to enjoy a Sunday afternoon stroll
Wow. What an incredible place. This is definitely a must see for anyone. The amount of care and well thought out landscaping is obvious as you walk throughout this spectacular garden.
This place has been on my bucket list for years and it did not disappoint. Even in the Fall the plants were stunning. Walking up to the Sunken Garden was an emotional experience. Absolutely beautiful! Lots to see, the dining choices were fabulous and the gift shop was full of a variety of items. Would love to go back to see everything in the different seasons.
36 dollar adult entry fee. Beautiful garden with lush greenery and The flower looks spectacular with so many species from around the world. worth visiting
One the beautiful place in British Columbia. The ticket for adult costs me 31 dollars. The best time to go their is in summer or fall. But the money is worth spending there.
Lovely way to spend some time if you appreciate garden landscape design. Great little information boards on the original owner's vision and plan, and how it came to be. No doubt that every season puts on a show! Beautifully maintained and very well marked pathways to explore the different gardens. Gift shop, lunch and dinner and gelato available and accessible clean washrooms are easy to find. Pathways are wheelchair and baby stroller friendly. Covid protocols in place.
This place is AMAZING. I've never seen such a well tended publicly accessible garden. The variety of colors and the thoughtful way they're planted is breathtaking. The rose garden alone is worth the price of admission. Plan on spending a whole afternoon to get time to see it all!
Expensive, but honestly worth it. I'm not so much into flowers, or gardens, but I'm in love with nature and here you get both. We came during the pandemic, so naturally it wasn't busy and we were able to move around freely. There were a few sections that were closed down though. All in all, a great way to spend 2-3hrs surrounded by beautiful nature
The generos beauty of the nature and the artistic know how of the humans in love with flowers, colors and harmony resulted in this breath taking garden. It's beauty never fade, not even in winter. Do go and visit it, you will be great full and happy!
Holiday light show exceeded my expectations. Did not read many reviews before going, so did not know ahead of time that the show is themed around the 12 Nights of Christmas, and so each scene was a delight to discover. We went after 8 PM so we could bring our dog and I would recommend that with or without dog, as it didn’t seem as crowded that late. Sound-responsive tree was mind-blowing and one of the many highlights. Fantastic large gift store, but we barely had time to explore it since they were near closing time by the time we finished walking the garden. Bought some flower seeds though, very friendly staffer gave tips on planting. Can’t wait to visit in spring or summer!
This is one of the most beautiful places I have ever been. I bought tickets in advance to visit on January 2nd 2022. COVID stopped our trip and my family is devastated . Airlines, Hotels, Car Rentals were very friendly and aware of this difficult moment but not his guys. No refunds, I can only use again the value of my tickets. Ok, that's fine for an Airline where I can use it for another destiny , the same with hotel. But Butchart Gardens!!..they will keep my money and sell my time slot to someone else. Karma
It's spectacular for sure, but they should reduce the price in the off season. We visited in November 2020 and most of the garden was expectedly not in bloom, but the price still stayed the same. I'd recommend visiting only at bloom seasons, otherwise free queen Elizabeth park in Vancouver is a go to. One note - Japanese garden is always spectacular, but fall was especially good since the maples started to turn red.
A must-see in Victoria. It took us about 1.5 hours to do the entire tour. Honestly, everything was perfect. The staff was awesome. They were all very kind. The flowers were all beautiful. We took a lot of photos that will be useful to us. It’s inspiring for our own gardens.
We came here on the recommendation and invitation of our friend. At first, this variety of colors seemed just very cute. Then we got to the Chinese part of the garden and it impressed us. Further, just being among these divine scents left an indelible impression
Even during Covid!! This place was stunning!! Buy season passes!! Such a good deal!! Who wouldn't enjoy flowers all year long!! It was a shame not to see the light show or the fireworks, due to Covid!! It was still a magical place that soothes the soul and fills one's senses!! Truly spectacular!!
The luscious gardens were a beautiful. The flowers were like nothing I've ever seen before.
A little part of the garden is lighted with christmas theme. Its nice but nothing you have never seen before. I think that in summer is a great experience
Beautiful Gardens! Must see while in Victoria. Very well groomed and impecable landscaping. I only gave 4 stars because I missed all the summer rose gardens as I went in the fall. I will definitely be back during spring- summer.
One of the best gardens I have ever seen. Have no words to describe its beauty. Visited in the first week of September; flowers were in full bloom. I would give 10 stars 10/10 and much more. It's huge and very very beautiful. Great to spend 4-5 hours if one loves flowers, greenery and nature. It's mesmerizing to see so many marvelous flowers. The pictures should say it all. It's much more beautiful than the pictures and have to be witnessed in its full bloom. Lots of parking places. Very nice cafeteria right at the entrance. Beautiful shops too. An absolute must visit for all.
All the flowers were beautiful, lots of safety protocols and sanitizer to help you feel comfortable and safe. Very relaxing afternoon.
A great place to spend a few hours being in nature and admiring all the beauty that is Butchart Gardens. I really enjoyed my time, definitely recommend a visit here
Well organized with covid going on. Gardens were heavenly! Cafe didn't really have too many options! Very cafeteria style, we expected more... too basic. Parking was very organized.
The gardens were truly breathtaking! My only regret was not having more time to explore the entire 55 acres. It was a perfect place to receive a marriage proposal for sure. Now I have the best memories to look back on that day with.
A must see attraction in Victoria. Some spots in the garden might be a little congested. The garden is like a little piece of heaven. Everywhere is meticulously maintained and well-cared for. The flowers make a beautiful back drop to any photo shoot.
Amazing experience! The winter light show is definitely worth going! We were lucky that there’s snow on the group, which made the entire place a lot of elegant and festive. With the lights, it’s perfect
The lights are .... absolutely amazing!! OMG I live this place and the effort they put in is just insane. Go and visit you will not be disappointed any time of the year.
Go when it's not tourist season. Wait until almost closing to see the sunken gardens. Literally no one is there. High tea is worth the cost. Just a beautiful place!
Thought this place was amazing. Even though a huge snow storm hit this place the week prior. They did a lot to move snow out of the walkways. Still a very beautiful place. Would love to come back late spring/summer for the full effect. Did see the indoor flowers that had several orchids, daffodils and many other beautiful flowers. We had High Tea that was delicious and fancy!! Great friendly service. The gift shop has lots of fun and interesting items to check out. Cant say enough about the whole experience.
stunning arrangements. Considering we are essentially in a drought with unusually high heat, the gardens are doing very well. Courteous staff and a pleasant experience.
Being out there on August 11 th was the nicest assortment of flowers and plants I had seen there in a long time. With the pandemic on the downside, more people are visiting but it was still un crowded and with many of the old paths reopened, it was a pleasant afternoon with plenty of showy blooms with an awesome variety of Hibiscus in colours that I didn’t know that Hibiscus even could have. Well worth a seasons pass this year, again!
Great view and beautiful lights through Christmas
Fabulous gardens. I visited with my husky, and was delighted to find that this is such a dog-friendly location. Staff were super helpful and friendly. The gardens are immaculately maintained, with such an amazingly varied collection, ranking among the best I’ve visited anywhere in the world. Highly recommended.
This is a must to see place for people who love nature. It is a group of flower gardens where every garden hosts a flower type and its variants. If you love photography then every inch in this place is a full frame.
Wonderful place to come for a walk. The gardens are amazing. Beautiful way to pass a couple of hours and get some fresh air. Is pretty amazing to see how things can grow in the local climate. The cafe has good food and drink choices as well.
Fantastic garden. Beautiful sites and on a nice and sunny day, very relaxing. Pretty quiet if you go in the morning at opening.
We have been to the gardens both during the summer and now at Christmas. It truly is amazing during the summer, but absolutely magical at Christmas time. I spent most of my time trying to remember that annoying 12 days of Christmas song, and as people walked around you could hear that they too we’re trying to remember it as well :) Kudos to all the staff who worked so hard to make this place come alive at night. I have been here when I was a kid and it’s so neat to see how the advancements in light technology has created an even more amazing light show today. I would definitely come here again!
This is not a place for people like me who do not appreciate seeing flowers or trees all the time....I mean how much flowers do u really need to see? But if those are the things that fancy you, then by all means, head down here. It really is scenic and I guess, peaceful but as I said, it is not my "cup of tea". Maybe it deserves more than 3 stars but....for me...it's ok.
I'm speechless. PLEASE go to this???????? I'm begging. All I have to say is do not miss out on this garden. Photos don't do this place justice. The sunken garden literally made me cry. It was .. just beautiful. Takes your breathe away. I HIGHLY recommend.
This was out first trip to the gardens and I am so grateful we went. It was the highlight of our trip and the fact that we were able to bring our dog made it so much more enjoyable. The fall colors were spectacular in October and the flowers, trees and fountains took our breath away. Would highly recommend.
It was a winter wonderland! Beautiful experience in the snow.. the lights, the music everything was very well done
If you're in Victoria this is definitely a place you need to visit, but just the history and the story behind how the gardens were established is amazing. Being there and actually seeing and smelling it in living color is something that photos or even a video could not replicate. We were here the long weekend in May and everything was in full bloom aside from the roses - check out the pictures for a sneak peek of what you have to enjoy. Please note there are several rules of etiquette for the park that should be checked before entering.
Beautiful gardens and a great place to visit. The entrance and parking experience was the most organized I've ever experienced. BC Ferries could learn a lot here.
Always new little gems to find throughout the gardens. Very excited for the spring and summer
Vegan afternoon tea, highly recommend. Gorgeous place, can't wait to visit in other seasons.
Beautiful... a must see and take your time... enjoy the flowers and plants... lots.of places to rest.
Lovely garden and very well maintained. Lush greens and colorful flowers all around.
Beautiful place. Bursts of color around every turn and amazing fountains in hidden alcoves. The grounds are perfectly maintained and plants artfully arranged. There are also about a million people all shuffling down single file paths to see it all, many of them noisy and constantly stopping everyone for a photo. Go and be amazed by the gardens but be aware that you are sharing the experience with a few thousand of your closest friends.
Not enough words to describe how gorgeous Butchart Gardens is. Very well-maintained, and a huge variety of blooms. I love how it's open year-round! Steep admission price but definitely worth it if you're into vibrant flowers and lush greens.
Very nice place to visit. I felt it was a bit expensive especially with parts of it shut down for covid. They really should have dropped the price slightly all things considered. Would have gave 5 stars if the price was a bit better. Amazing work being done here. A very beautiful garden with alot to see. I haven't been in about 15 years and was really looking forward to seeing the ocean area which was closed. This was a disappointment and they really should have told me when paying that some stuff would be closed. The more I write the less stars they get. Now I will drop it to 3 stars. Started at 5 then 4 now 3.
It’s amazing place so beautiful well organized looks like heaven I only give it 2 stars ⭐️ because it has a sign ???? asking for a proof of vaccination ???? for Covid 19 but no one ask you to show any proof you just show your ticket and go In ????
I'm not a garden person at all. When I visited this place in July 2017, I was blown away. Stunningly beautiful. Totally worth the trip for sure. The gardens are exquisite and beautifully kept.
It was simply great! Definitely must visit if you are in Victoria.. I didn't buy an annual pass, but next time I will. It will have different beauty in different seasons.
This is art and perfection. Beautiful garden to visit
Absolutely breathtaking! I went to the gardens in the summer when I was a kid and loved every minute. My husband and I recently returned for their holiday lights and we were blown away. The staff does an incredible job, the lights are so beautiful, and the garden is maintained with expert care. 100% recommend visiting!
Beautiful! Very well maintained and manicured garden. I’d definitely visit again. And flowers smell so nice! Such a beautiful place, and the weather was good too. Good to visit during the summer. Good place for a date, long walks and beautiful sights.
If you've never visited The Butchart Gardens it is definitely worth the visit. The Gardens are expansive, immaculate and beautiful. There are many types of gardens, fountains, ponds and other water features. There are many paths and walkways you can take through the Gardens so you never feel crowded. There are a couple of small cafés and a cafeteria and dinng room in the main buildings near the entrance. They offer afternoon tea which we didn't get to try. For us the best part was we could bring our puppy along as the Gardens are pet friendly!
Lovely Xmas decor. Rainy that night but expected. Great way to spend a couple hours perusing the gardens
Beautiful views of the garden. The place is so serene. Amazing views anywhere. Butchart garden has lovely landscape. The only downside for us was that, the garden was full of crowd when we came in the morning. It was hard to social distance on the walking trail during the pandemic. Regardless, the entrance fee is affordable. You are going to pay right before parking your car. The washrooms were clean. There lots of area where you can eat your packed lunch or snack.
It's a beautiful garden! ???? recommended
Visited during the Christmas lights extravaganza. Lots of lights. Much wow. Don't know if there was enough wow to make up for the hour long wait to get in though. The hot chocolate was the cat's pajamas.
Wonderful holiday display love the 22 days of Christmas theme
This is an awesome and beautiful garden. I can’t believe how much work was put into maintaining this garden. The rose garden is magnificent and is the highlight of the entire garden tour. The price is a bit expensive $36 for adult and $3 for kids above 5, and I wish it costs less. During COVID some of the routes are closed and you basically only need to follow the designated one-side route to go through the garden. The only thing is the washroom is limited in the garden so if you missed it you need to wait until you get back to the entrance of the garden.
Their Christmas light display is outstanding!! We often go and see Christmas light displays in different cities but these were like nothing we had ever seen before! You will not be disappointed.
Absolutely loved it! What a gorgeous, perfectly manicured gardens! We got to see Spring flowers. Want to go back during different season and spend a whole day there - walking and taking in all the sights and smells, taking tea break, walking again. And I would come again during Spring as well - want to bring our moms here too! The gardens were being expanded when we came (May 2019), so would love to see the expansion.
We really appreciated our time at these gardens! Even though it is off season we found them to be spectacular, and worth the time to visit. Great job to the staff who went above, and beyond!
Such an amazing experience in the winter! We've been here many times in the summer over the years, transforming it into a holiday wonderland was spectacular too! We got lucky and parking and entry were a breeze, likely owing to our Xmas eve visit. We were able to get through the whole garden including a carousel ride in 90 minutes! The kids loved the hundreds of thousands of twinkling lights and random outbreaks of "The 12 Days of Christmas"
The most beautiful Christmas place ever!!! Canadian Disneyland! All the care and work that went in to this is unbelievable!
The light show in the winter is one of my favorites. Family friendly, dating friendly, group friendly.
This place was very enjoyable! A bunch of photo opportunities and you over all feel good when there.
Was not impressed to pay to be greeted by an employee at a turnstile with no mask on demanding my parties tickets, and then shouting in my parties face that they can enter one by one through the turnstile as he scanned our tickets (At least your employees could show respect by wearing a mask, even if not required outside, when they are controlling people within arms reach and spitting distance). There was no requirement for vaccination cards as this was 'mainly' an outdoor crowded event. Why even have people working the front gate if your concerned someone is hiding in the trunk to get a free ride? Maybe people jump the fence and you need that extra level of security? Over crowded Christmas light 'reservations', the operator of the carousel was hiding behind plexiglass rightfully so, as unmasked people came and went into the building with no vaccination card requirements, zero sanitation to any of the equipment was viewed as hundreds of people entered and left the building. There was sanitizer station at the exit but it was evidently empty from the comments of riders leaving! The lights are all super bright LED now throughout the gardens displays, painful to some eyes, blurry to others. Years gone past the displays were glowing and cheerful, now they are in your face and distracting. Not surprising we could see the centralized glow radiating into the sky from West Saanich Road as we navigated to the gardens...Would like to see the brightness turned down from disco effect to holiday cheer. Very disappointed, not the enjoyable experience we have had in 20+ years of visiting the gardens.
Spectacular, perfect day today to see all the beautiful tulips in colour!! Best time to see them now. Grab a coffee or ice cream, or spoil someone with a special treat for high tea! Great gift shop. Restrooms convenient throughout the gardens and wheelchair friendly pathways and ramps
If I lived near The Butchart Gardens, I would most certainly purchase an annual pass and use it regularly. We visited during 'the time of Covid' and the staff at the entrance were thorough and excellent at describing the social distancing requirements. Even without scads of tourists on the day we were there, it was good to see parking lot attendants smoothing the flow of traffic. The various gardens were absolutely stunning. I didn't see anyone pruning or dead-heading, so elves must do it at night, because the beds were all perfect.
One of the coolest botanical gardens I have ever been to. The weather cooperated which made the sightseeing even more fun. The walk was excellent and the view was spectacular. I surely recommend checking this place out as this is one of the famous gardens to go to in Victoria. I will surely be back here when I visit Victoria again.
The garden is lovely, my favorite was the sunken garden. Still the entrance fee is very high and for that reason although I enjoyed it I doubt I'd go back.
Love love love this place. So gorgeous. I could not stop admiring the beauty of this place. I took tones of pictures. The garden has so many sections and each section has variety of flowers, fountains and different set ups. Very nice place to visit. Definitely worth it. Would highly recommend it.
I believe this is a fairy land, a paradise on earth! Beautiful flowers all around. A true masterpiece of nature and an extremely well organised garden! It’s the most popular spot in Victoria attracting tourists for over 100 years. The entry ticket is absolutely nominal! The garden will delight you in every possible way. A great spot for photo shoot!
A large, exceptionally beautiful garden, meticulously maintained. It can get crowded but we were fortunate to visit when there were very few people and it was a delight. The people working there were very friendly and willing to answer our questions about the plants.
I imagine this is what heaven looks like! What a magical place! Beauty every which way you look! It was almost overwhelming! Loved it so much! High tea was delicious and such a fun experience. The gardens are pristine, so well care for! We will be back! Make sure to reserve your tea time a few days in advance online. They are quite busy.
Stunning gardens, profoundly beautiful arranged and exceedingly well-kept. We took our time and needed about three hours to walk through. However, with $36 entrance fee comparatively high.
The most beautiful garden I’ve ever been too. Even the trash bins have flowers on them! I will definitely come back in the spring.
We visited Butchart Gardens during the Easter long weekend. It’s a bit early for spring but the garden is already blooming with early flowers. The garden has beautiful landscaping that’s photogenic and unique in every view point. I will definitely visit again in summer time to see the rose garden in full bloom????
Seen in summer and fall .. fall is at its best IMO. Beautiful British Columbia starts from this garden..
Wow, these gardens truly blew me away. I’m not a flower guy (anything I plant seems to die) but these gardens... wow. The price is a little high, but for what you get, it is worth it. Even though they have over 50 acres of land, it can still get very busy and crowded, so come prepared for that. Overall great place to spend a few hours, I do recommend it. Just come knowing that there are probably crowds of people.
Gorgeous! Can’t wait to go back in the Spring! Fall Colours were amazing already
Gorgeous gardens! The admission is a bit pricey but it is a must-visit. The flowers are beautiful and the themes are so interesting. I came here with my boyfriend and we did get lost for a bit as there are many paths. I would recommend wearing comfortable shoes as there is lots of walking involved. We also stopped to get some great gelato in the Italian garden.
Great place to visit for budding photographers! (no pun intended). ???? The art and craft that goes into the arrangements is next level. Makes for great framing and composition in your shots.
Stunning views everywhere you look, could have spent more time but our kid got very tired of all the walking.
I can't even begin to describe how pretty it was there today, the flowers were so expertly laid out and beautiful looking ???? everywhere you looked there was a different type. It smells heavenly as well, I didn't want to leave! Definitely coming back in the spring ????????
Beautiful gardens, and lots to see. We went in early Spring so we’d like to go back late Spring or early summer to see more. There was lots of parking and Covid protocols in place. We also had tea after, it was nice and service was good. Hope to be back!
Pricey experience for flowers. No mention of flower names, had to use app to identify flowers. Other than that it is a must stop for visiting Victoria. Very well designed especially the dancing fountain. Takes about 1hour to see everything maybe 1.5hrs with a slow party. Parking is included.
The 2021 Christmas Display does not disappoint! Buy your coffee or hot chocolate at the start (The coffee shop by the fountain in the Sunken Garden is not open this year). There is a photo-op sleigh setup in the path up from the Sunken Garden which can be a lot of fun. The Carousel is running though, and for $2 per ticket, its an enjoyable little ride. The lights and 12 days of Christmas are truly enjoyable. The staff at Butchart's have put so much effort in to create a magical environment with a high degree of success. A job well done! Covid stuff: Proof of Vaccination is required for two of the sitdown restaurants. Masking is required while inside all buildings. If you're sick or supposed to be isolating; don't go, stay home.
The gardens are incredible. Definitely best Canada has to offer in terms of gardens. I had low expectations but the place was much larger than I expected.
Buchart gardens never disappoint always a good time. So much to see and do
Amazing place! If you are going in fall season make sure you go late evening so that you can enjoy the lighting. Because in fall theirs not much floral views to enjoy. None the less it is a beautiful place. I loved the gift shop and the restaurant.parking lot is huge. I traveled there with my 2.5 years old kid without any issues.
An amazing world class garden, gorgeous even in early November. A must see for visitors and locals. Lots to see, even my 4 year old remained engaged for our 2 hour walk. We enjoyed fresh sandwiches and pastries from the coffee shop ($$). The Christmas festivities are a great family affair as well!
I love this place. A lot of unique and beautiful sceneries.
Wonderful venue. Definitely worth a visit whenever you’re in Victoria. We loved it so much signing up for annual memberships was a no brainer. There are lots of cafes here too so kids can take breaks and recharge there. Highly recommended!
Beautiful. Great walk through the lit gardens. Very well done and a great for the family. We will be back for sure. The ride on the carousel with our son was perfect.
I'm not even a garden or flower person (thanks, allergies!) and yet even then I loved my visit here. All the flower exhibits were well put together amongst a scenic backdrop of towering trees and trickling waterfalls. The flowers were all in great shape and the grass was probably the best I'd seen. There were many cafes and restrooms conveniently placed around the gardens, too.
Paradise. This place is a flower/nature paradise. It is breathtaking and serene. Surely there is lots of walking to do here. You need time and a casual stroll, no need to hurry up, will do the trick. There is so much variety of flowers, it is simply mind-blowing. This place is beautifully done. Everybody wants some kind of landscaping in or around their houses, well, Butchart Gardens take the cake. One is simply in the lap of nature. My kids were tired but there is ice cream and other stuff to keep them entertained. This place should be treated like an afternoon walk or evening walk. Go with your partner or your friends, take a long stroll, enjoy the magnificence, talk about a multitude of things, take in the beauty and relish it and come out thoroughly satisfied by being in the lap of nature the entire time. It's a must visit if you are in Victoria, BC.
We went for a visit early this November. Not a lot of flowers, but the beauty of the gardens are so amazing. Looking forward to a Christmas visit and an early spring visit. Cant wait to see the rose garden
An extraordinary garden, with friendly staff and many themed gardens within. A must see for any plant or garden enthusiasts. The history and story of the location is unique.
If you're ever going to Vancouver island then you definitely need to visit The Butchart Garden at some point! Especially so if it's a Saturday during the summer! There's a rose garden, Japanese garden, Italian garden, Mediterranean garden, the fountains, and the sunken garden! They all have their own themes and own charms. They are all beautiful in their own way. The landscape architects and grounds keepers are brilliant and your can definitely tell! On Saturday nights during the summer, the garden has a 30-minute fireworks show which I thought was one of the best if not the best show! The venue is much smaller than a public venue. Everyone gets to see the fireworks and hear the music simultaneously! The fireworks actually follow the theme of the music. Not only that but the bangs, pops, and hisses of the fireworks are closely synchronized with the music! It's just great overall!
Beautiful flowers. Very well maintained. Variety of roses
Was a very well done light display, carefully planned out, over an hour walk in warm winter evening.
Beautiful place to explore with many magnificent views. A must see when on the island ????
Loved the gardens!! So many beautiful spots to explore. I only wish that they didn’t have the ‘mask on’ at all times policy as there were so few people and everyone was maintaining social distancing!
It was such a beautiful and relaxing way to spend a day! Gardner's there are volunteers and put their heart into caring for the gardens!
One of the best places I’ve ever seen! This gardens are located in Victoria,BC . I took a ferry from Vancouver to visit this place. This place mesmerized me! I literally don’t have words to express how beautiful it is, so I’ll upload some pictures, so you guys see how marvellous it is!
Explosions of colour surround you, interspersed with the tranquility of green grass and trees, enhanced by the sound of waterfalls. The meticulous care with which this garden is cared for is beyond my imagination. We bought a 12 month pass....we will be back!!
Absolutely beautiful gardens!! High tea was delightful! My only negative was how busy all the gardens were...so if you don't enjoy crowds, not the spot for you!
Amazing work done by all the employees at this gorgeous location. Every season has new and wonderful eye catching flowers and features.
Have only been during the Christmas light display season. But they do a wonderful job on decorating the grounds and the online ticket ordering was very straightforward and easy to do. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Grounds are well lit and accessible for all levels of mobility. Will have to come back during the other seasons and see the gardens in full bloom. Their gift shop has a wide range items of reasonable price too.
Always a pleasure visiting the Butchart Gardens. This time of yr still lots of flowers blooming.
Amazing experience!! Definitely worth visiting! Upgraded to an annual pass on the spot!
Amazing garden, thousands of beautiful plants and flowers, really enjoyable place.
Nice botanical garden, but expensive and long bus ride.
Nice experience even for people who have zero interest in flowers/trees/gardens etc. Other reviews were correct when they said that the Japanese garden is the best. The path leading to Ross Fountain is also nice! The rest is "meh". It has food/drinks available at the entrance/exit. Got the hotdog and hot chocolate and they tasted fine, just overpriced. I'd recommend going as early as possible. Our family entered the premise after the first hour they opened and we were the 3rd or 4th car in the parking lot. By the time we finished the tour and quickly checked out the gift shop (about 1hr 45 mins since we had 2 small kids with us), the parking lot was FULL of cars and buses, so thankfully we missed a huge crowd (at around 11:45am on a weekday). Overall would recommend for the experience, even if you just go to the two gardens mentioned above. Prices are steep but if you live in Victoria or visit it at least 2 or more times per year then it would be worth getting their annual pass $65 vs $31 for 1-time pass only in October, other months can be a few dollars cheaper or more expensive!
A must go for everyone on the Island. Honestly I didn’t know how big the garden was, budget a few hours to see and take it the beauty
I went with a friend. It's the same theme for Xmas each year. It would be nice to see a different theme. But it is still worth the travel time.
Butchart Gardens in the winter never disappoints. No matter how many Christmases we go. Beautiful lights, nice walk. Thankful for set times and less capacity so you don't feel so rushed or crowded.
Amazing and way bigger than I could have imagined. Would love to return in the spring.
Absolutely loved these gardens... Took us about two to two and a half hours to get through it walking at a leisurely pace posting for photos in front of all the gorgeous flowers. We cabbed it straight from Victoria airport ($40). They stored luggage for us so we could enjoy our experience without having to lug suitcases.
Beautiful gardens and well maintained! A must-see at least once for everyone and many times if you love flowers and trees. There’s a lovely gift shop with many unique items. We went mid-week and it’s was pretty crowded. Plenty of parking available on-site.
Fantastic/Magical Christmas Light Show. An enchanting way to spend a winter's evening!
The gardens were absolutely beautiful. It was a drizzly rain type of day which completely added to the ambience. Not only did they offer umbrellas for those that wanted them there were plenty of natural places to hide from under the rain. It was not very busy so we really felt like we had all the gardens to ourselves. They have a nice history and Sherrett with little plaques and photos throughout. Take the time to watch and look at the view from the docks down by the water. It is worth the little walk!
I never know winter light show can be so gorgeous! This place is a must-go! All seasons except spring are fun to go and they display different sceneries. Super kids friendly and pets friendly. I don’t recommend the cafeteria style as it’s too pricy compared to what they serve. But the afternoon high tea is a charm. If you live in victoria for two seasons or more, make sure you get a year pass because you won’t regret walking in the garden every weekend!
This place is absolutely phenomenal. Thinking about how Mrs. Butchart came up with the idea of having these gardens one after the other is mind blowing. Each of the sections has its unique touch. I highly recommend this place to anyone admiring gardening, colours, and beauty. It takes about 3-4 hours to go through the whole garden, at least. So, plan ahead for having a long walk. And, enjoy your magnificent visit!
The Butchart Gardens is a group of floral display gardens in Brentwood Bay, British Columbia, Canada, The Butchart Gardens is open to the public, welcoming you to take solace from this beautiful garden. The Butchart Gardens, a National Historic Site of Canada, is 22 ha/55 acres of wonderful floral display The Butchart Gardens ... Come enjoy our breathtaking 22 ha (55 acres) of gardens year around. Between 1906 and 1929, the Butcharts created a Japanese Garden on the seaside, an Italian Garden
Beautiful flower and sceneries. Even though it's fall, the setting is still beautiful
The Best experience I have ever experienced. They have a gift shop, restaurants and coffee shop. Very well maintained and well directed with signs and great staff. It is little pricey but didn't regret of what I paid for. It is worth.
Lovely and GORGEOUS!! Our family of four, including an 11 and 8 year old boys loved our time here...which surprised us as parents. They enjoyed the carousel, the water fountains and they got into photographing the flowers. We whipped through it in 2 hours and stayed for the summer concert that evening which was fun with lots of people dancing and a fun old time nostalgic feel. We also had dinner in the cafe and the food quality was very good and fair pricing. If you love gardening and flowers you could easily spend half a day or more slowly taking it in, if you just appreciate the beauty it’s fun for a few hours like we did. Definitely one of the most exquisite gardens I’ve experience in my world travels!! We visited in late July, flowers were in full bloom, temps in the 70’a it was wonderful.
Absolutely love every corner of the garden!!! Not only the obvious set up but also the details. I also found a bunch of rare spices I have never seen before. And the tropical greenhouse! I wish my tiny greenhouse looks like this!
Been several times in the summer and this was our first visit for the Christmas lights and it was fabulous. The grandchildren love the lights and we spent several hours there but the time flew by. Would highly recommend a visit
Worth every penny. Beautiful, very well maintained gardens. Do wear your comfortable shoes as there is plenty of walking. Do not miss if in Victoria.
Marvelous place and very thoughtful mix of lights into the primary soul of Nature.
It is a very nice garden but seems like there are lots of rules. But it is worth the trip and is beautifully maintained! Parking was a breeze as there were lots of people guiding parking traffic which was very good!!
I think those flowers never thought Covid -19 would happen. A lot of beautiful flowers bloom even if no one comes. Those flowers are blooming in all their beauty this time.
The sights and smells were like soup for the soul. I highly recommend paying the gardens a visit
Historic sight & it justifies it. Truly a wonderful experience. The staff is extremely helpful. It took me about 3 hours to walk through & see some of the most wonderful flowers. It's landscaping paradise. You could truly feel how much effort was put in to make it the most remarkable place in entire Canada. This is a must see. Will visit again.
This place felt like another world, we went during the fall and the colors were so beautiful and vivid. Highly recommend checking out the Japanese garden!
The most beautiful and exquisite place to visit! Nothing else on Vancouver Island measures up to the beauty of the Butchart Gardens. The tickets are expensive, and the gardens are pretty small, so if you are up for it, go visit the Japanese Garden and the Rose Gardens more than once. It'll definitely be worth seeing if a second time. The Sunken Gardens were beautiful too.
As a Landscape Architect this place gets triple five stars. An unbelievable display of varying exhibits that included everything from flowering trees, shrubs groundcovers, water displays, arbors, topiaries, forests, meadows and great gift shop. Get this place on your bucket list now!
Beautiful place. One hour to take from downtown by bus. But it's worth. I don't recommand to drink iced americano... XD
What is there to say other than it is well worth the price of admission. Go early and spend the whole day and you won't be disappointed. A veritable Garden Lovers delight. My favourite was the Japanese Garden.
This garden is massive!! I really had no clue that this was such a large facility. It's incredible! It's truly a work of art. Price is pretty high at $36 per adult though. Overall we had a lovely afternoon here.
Absolutely amazing garden! So impeccably manicured. Christmas decorations are up and I loved the references to the 12 days of Christmas (even though it took me half the garden to get it ahha). I went during the day time, and even though it was beautiful, I can see it being even better at night! Would definitely come back.
What a great place! Been there both in the summer for the fireworks and that was absolutely amazing as well as for the 12 days of Christmas displays. Had a great time and tons of fun looking for all 12 days display. Absolutely worth going at anytime of the year, you will not be disappointed! Don't forget to check out the Cafe for a nice warm drink before heading to tour the garden and check out the great gift store. Plenty of goods including seeds that is used in the gardens! Perfect for family, dates as well as out of town guests.
