Great place to spend your weekend while walking on wooden pathways through the forest. It’s got a suspended bridge too - just like Capilano Bridge Park - only smaller and free. The views from the suspended bridge are just awesome of the Lynn river below and its many waterfalls.

Mike Arnold

Very nice park with some spectacular views. All the thief warning signs are a bit concerning, but I had no issues. Rode my mountain bike there and then hiked around. Nice little cafe close by as well.

Tivadar Limbacher

Amazing place, definitely go, it's easy to reach even with public transportation. Use the seabus, it's more fun than the regular one. Try to see every attraction on the trail it's worth it!

You will find many information about animals and birds in BC and their habitats. Samples of paws, sounds and taxidermied spaces. Very nice place for kids to learn about environment and where we are living. There are couple of interactive tools to try them by visitors and found about ecology in a simple way. All these for free!

You should visit it before hiking up to Lynn Canyon Park because you can obtain a free map of the park which covers all the hiking trails and bridges. Visitors can also learn wild life of the park and see many dummies of the birds living in the park. There are many varieties of gifts such as badges, animal puppets and post cards of design of the park.

We went from the suspension bridge to the pipeline bridge, opposite side of the park. The suspension bridge was thrilling and glad we did this one (free) instead of Capilano. The waters were an amazing emerald green, such a sight to see. We definitely got tired out with all the stairs...not an easy walk in Stanley Park per se, but all the whole worth the effort.

Sandip Patel

Wow went here today, it's FREE. We had a blast with the kid's. They do clubs so Baden Powell hiking path to suspension bridge, twin falls and the 30 ft pool. They place is well looked after. You can goto all the places without crossing the suspension bridge and free parking.

First time visiting Lynn Canyon, and after my walk over the suspension bridge and up the river, I came here.... To see a watch for bears sign... I have no idea how to handle meeting a bear. Anyway. The ecology centre has a great display of stuffed animals and models of the area from the past. I really enjoyed the visit and spend quite a bit of time there reading everything.

As a first time visitor to Canada, the sight of the rubbish bin built like the Fort Knox with less straight forward opening mechanism puzzled me until I saw the signboards that bears live there! Luckily they are currently in hibernation coming to winter in November! I think I would faint if I see a life one in the wild after reading stories about them. That rubbish bin was almost at the entrance of the ecology centre. It was an interesting place to visit to have a better understanding on the vibes in the area before exploring. There are so many varieties of mushrooms around! We also learned about the different types of bears and compared us with their paw sizes!! Despite the rain, it is still a good place to visit! Since it's currently bear free, I took courage to hike one hour around the area, crossing over the slippery hanging bridge and boardwalks. Would love to continue if not for my non walking friends who were waiting in the car! The rainy area enables the lovely trees and bushes to flourish in the area!! Hiking would be just perfect there if not for the bears! Tread your path carefully!!

This visitor center has great exhibitions to introduce histories and ecology of the great Vancouver area, and the souvenirs here are good too. The staff was really kind and helpful to answer questions from their guests. I was asking a question about public transportation and the Stanley Park, which is not relative to the Lynn Canyon, but they were really patient to assist me!

Much like the Capilano suspension bridge the Lynn canyon suspension bridge has great views and beautiful hiking trails. The bridge overlooks waterfalls and the hiking trails wind through trees and beautiful landscapes. Many waterfalls, small bridges to be enjoyed. And no entrance fee!

Regina Guenka Palma Dibb

Beautiful place, amazing trails, all ages and you can stay there for all day.

Teresa M

Beautiful place, appreciate the free entrance fees. Was not too thrilled with the young girl spray painting on the rocks while her elder sat there and watched. Wish that there was a Parks person wandering around that would have told her to stop.

Fantastic! Up close and personal with nature in all its glory. Great adventure with a very walkable path and awe inspiring views of the river, trees and waterfalls.

Patience Owenby

The hike was beautiful - all the water and green. But it was a little mundane for us. It was very touristy and was completely constructed so you hardly have to even touch dirt while there, and everything is fenced off. I prefer hikes where you feel immersed in nature, but that's just my opinion. If you go, do try to go early to avoid the massive crowds.

Holly Comeau

The Lynn Valley suspension bridge was quite the experience. The trails are wonderful but not for those of us with mobility issues (too many stairs...not walker and wheelchair accessible). The water was beautiful though and the ecology center was great.

Happy_Brown Eyed_Gal

Bridge was "cute" ... Lots of people!!! What I didn't realize, there are trails to lead you to pools you can jump into & swim. Bring your bathing suit, shower shoes & towel! The water is beautiful (but chilly).

This place is great! There is a loooooong walk down the canyon that takes you to the river... it seems endless but it's not, and it totally worth do it all the way tot the bottom for the views. The bridge itself is very cute...but there were wayyyyy too many people and the swinging of it make me a bit dizzy to the point that I could only go to the middle of the bridge. Nevertheless, on a less busy day, I imagine that crossing it completely would be a nice experience. There is tons of parking and a small coffee shop. No fee to access the park.

If you like nice walks, nature, water and suspension bridges, this place is for you! Bring your swimsuit for a swim or just dunk your toes in. Beautiful scenery. Great place to de-stress!

Karl

A wonderful and cheaper alternative to the Capilano Suspension Bridge, which is a wonder in its own right. Lynn Canyon has lots of great trails which are clearly marked, the Center itself is well appointed, and the views are magnificent even in the rain.

Adele Aria

A beautiful ecosystem retreat amidst the residential area of Vancouver, Lynn Canyon and the Ecology Centre is host to a range of walking options that allows you to easily customise to your sense of adventure and physical capacity. If you want to go off track, you can, but if you're feeling like sticking to the trail and enjoying a simpler and easier walk, you'll still enjoy plenty of beautiful and diverse sights.

Michele Gabriele

A natural sanctuary! You can reach this entrance in th and wilderness by public transportation from Vancouver city center, so even if you don't have a car you can come here! The park is for free and less crowded than, the more touristic, Capilano bridge. Form here you can chose between several trails!

Brady Patterson

Great little spot to further before a hike or swim, or after either. Wish they opened earlier as we swim every Saturday at 8am (Saturday Splash) and all year long and I often want to grab a coffee first but end up down the street instead.

Hemant Saini

If you are visiting the Lynn Canyon Park make sure you visit the museum just before the park starts. Though small in size the museum offers a lot of perspective into nature as such and the environment we are damaging by the day.

terri damiani

Lovely area, has become more busy over the years as tourists take in the smaller, free version of Capilano. Short or long treks possible, recommend Rice Lake. Trails could be identified better, had to ask for correct direction.

Shresh M

We loved this place as compared to Capiliano suspension bridge. Ecology at its best. Great trails and scenic spots to take pics. Plus , less crowded and commercialized. Worth the visit when in Vancouver.

Kirk Dewhurst

The whole Lynn Canyon is amazing. There are lots of green spaces, trails and even a cafe. There are washroom facilities available here. I definitely recommend coming here for a relaxing stroll ???????? or a fast hike. Cross some bridges stop to see the river go for a swim even.

James Jung

Kids love this museum! Very educational and even has free wifi. They have animal figures to play with and has a small gift shop. There are no restroom here. Just walk down to the cafe for that. The admission is free but feel free do make donations.

Lynn Canyon is an amazing place to visit, beautiful nature all around you and lots of trails to hike. The Lynn Canyon Suspension Bridge is a lesser known local bridge than the Capilano Suspension Bridge, but it's not lesser in any other way, the surrounding area around the Suspension Bridge is in my opinion even prettier than Capilano. It is less touristy too and the infrastructure is not as good, so expect dirt paths instead of wood sidewalks, lots more steep hills to go up and down and less access to Bathrooms. The big plus side though is that Lynn Canyon and Suspension Bridge is free!

Ana Marin

They say that you can save up to 50 dollars if you visit this suspension bridge instead of Capilano's. (but this one is shorter and closer to the ground) We saw people swimming and running around. Even though it was cold enough for us to be wearing jackets. It's a beautiful park, if you get there early you'll want to keep walking past lunch time. Highly recommended.

kamal kishor

Really beautiful place. I cannot recommend anything but to go visit the place for at least 15-30 minutes after a stressful day. It will take all your stress and negative energy and you will take a better side of yours to home.

Marcello Lins

Great place for hiking. There are only two main trails there (on the park itself) but many if you decide to stretch your walk and go outside the park.

Hibikini DAN

Locate near the north vancouver. You can only pay zone2 payment to get here. Additional, people who really like to venture can cross the mountain to deep cove. Just try it!

Jennifer Henczel

What beautiful spot! The suspension bridge feels very safe and sturdy. The falls are a stunning site. When I looked over the side of the bridge at the fallls, I gasped in awe and wonder. The water is crystal clear and very refreshing. The trail is well kept and tidy. The facilities are convenient and clean. If you go past the facilities and turn right there's a lot more parking. Be sure to follow the trail as far as it goes. This destination is the perfect way to experience all the beauty that British Columbia has to offer: outstanding views, fresh water, and manificent trees. Happy trails!

Anna Morning

Cute, but really small. It's has an area for children to play, and specimen of some local species.

kaushal shah

Great trails. Awesome suspension bridge. This is most likely smaller than capilano bridge (as we didn't go there), but it very well served our purpose as we were with kids.

Alexander Bailey

Beautiful place for a light hike with friends or family. This is the home to the famous Capilano Suspension bridge, which is either terrifying if you're afraid of heights or fantastically bouncy if you're not. I love that the park is so easily accessible from Vancouver, and the trails are so well maintained, despite lots of visitors.

Code Firm

This place is breathtaking, nature junkies like me would appreciate the suspense, scene and varieties of attraction from the suspension bridge to the pools, hike, twin falls and the ecology center.

Emily Hannah

This place is wonderful! The trails are awesome with some amazing views. The Ecology centre has some pretty cool interactive displays. It is a great place to bring kids. No parking or entrance fees, and the museum is by donation. Has decent washrooms and a little cafe. Lots of stairs on the trails.

Savannah Lord

This place is amazing!!! It's completely free and has a suspension bridge with many cool trails. Get there early because it got super crowded at around 9am.

Ahmad Al Wazzan

Cool place to go to, u can hike and u can go to the river there and it is so close. Not to mention plenty of parking

Lukas Le

Good place for hiking. I love the forest here

Chris Lewis

Great school program. Fantastic, friendly, knowledgeable staff. Centre itself is really cool with animals, knowledge and incredible models of the park and wildlife

jozelle fernandez

It was a very beautiful place with really good hiking. Only problem is that it's too much ppl and crossing the bridge can be a pain as lots of tourist will stop in the middle of the bridge making it difficult to go around them and cross. It's like a waiting at the border line waiting for ppl to freaking cross already and stop doing their selfies!! I would give it 5 star if it wasn't too many ppl visiting the place. I can tell it's a very popular tourist spot but if your visiting definitely go early as parking can be very difficult too.

Piotr Wojtowicz

Great place to visit . Get own sandwiches because food is not cheap . Be cautious and don't approach the edges of the pools . This place has claimed couple dozens of human beans . Buy selfie sticks for making photos close up to the edge.

Shahid Amlani

My favorite place around Vancouver. It's in North Vancouver. Absolutely serence and beautiful! Must see if you're visiting this beautiful city . The trail is of an intermediate level , relatively easy . Has a small Beach area too. You'll …

Jeff Mayer

Free parking and wasn't busy during midday Tuesday. Beautiful rainforest and great view from the suspension bridge! Water is crystal clear!

RAHANUMA HAYDER

Very nice place. Provides a lot of important information about nature and earth in a fun and interesting way. I saw not only kids but even adults having fun answering quizzes and pressing the buttons for information. I also loved all the miniature models or the scale models. They are very well made and looks so real.

Gerges Y

Very useful information suitable for all ages with some toys and games for kids. Admission is by donation. Not very fancy but very useful.

Chantal KOCHER

Very nice walk and trail in this area. I recommend this place, the one of the best place around Vancouver. I have made several trails there in October until December. The river's flow really change during the seasons. Incredible !
