It wasn't busy at all, we went early in the morning and had lots of opportunities to interact with animals. The staff was very friendly, it was a great place to bring kids! I wish they had hand sanitizer around the exhibits so that after you pet something you can wash up your hands a little. Parking was a bit sketchy.

Great place to visit!! There are a large amount of exhibits to see and, surprisingly exotic animals!!! There are the lizards and spiders and frogs and such ofc, but then there's also Cats, Monkeys, Alligators, Snakes, Pigs...! The workers tend to come out with an animal that you can hold or pet and they'll tell you about them ♡ I also love going to see the birds and mice after going through the paid area.

I had a wonderful experience at Northern Exotics in August/2019. I plan to go again and on a regular basis just to give them some support and in an effort to help enable them to care for these exotic animals. I am telling people I know about it and I’m hoping that other Sudburians will do the same. The staff were very knowledgeable and welcoming. The animal quarters were very clean. It made me feel very good to know that these people care, and are attempting to offer these homeless, otherwise destitute animals, a home. It also made me extremely saddened to know that there are inept individuals that feel the need to take on these animals in the first place, thinking only of themselves and their own needs and wants. I wish Northern Exotics all the best.

I am back in the aquarium world; they came recommended to me as a good place for advice and products. The staff is friendly and the fish I ordered was healthy and full of life. They also carry products for most pets; common and exotic and they have an exotic animal exhibit which is apparently a "must" see.

As always, customer service is top-tier. Questions rarely ever go unanswered, products are always on the shelves, and if they aren't ... They can seemingly get ANYTHING. Their establishment is clean and organized. They enjoy me spending all of my money on them, and they're so nice about it that I don't even feel bad ????. Perseus, my Boa Constrictor, came from them and he's quite the character. 10/10 highly recommend.

Disappointed in this shop. The care of the animals was less than okay. Tons of uneaten bugs in the tanks (30+ in some). Feeders (superworms) had mites. I left without buying anything.

Best pet store in town. BEST PRICES TOO. So accomodating they have all my reptile and cat/dog neccesities and they have a strong memory for clients. I am very picky and the owner and all of his staff know my order very well just from the sound of my voice when i call in for curbside pickup! It surprises me everytime and makes me feel special. I ask them to seperate my bugs in two different bags (which some people would be like "whyyy????") They do it no questions asked and they are always so friendly ! I am never treated like an inconvenience and usually i dread chores but going to this pet store brightens my week. P.s. They have an amazing points system that you must take advantage of! I love this place ????❤

A hidden gem in the town of Sudbury. It’s tucked away so you wouldn’t really find it unless you really looked but it is definitely worth it! Lots of cool exotics to see including all different types of lizards, snakes, birds, and even fennec foxes! You can tell the staff take very good care of their animals and have their best interests in mind. Add this to your list if you’re visiting Sudbury!

Lots of interesting animals and the staff was pretty helpful too. The fish tanks looked a little dirty and there was a dead fish lying at the bottom of one, however, that's not exactly unusual for fish sections at stores - fish die all the time. I'll be back to admire the animals again!

Charges close to the same as the ripleys aquarium to see literally a 100th of the selection. All his rescues go straight to that expensive zoo. He isnt knowledge as he has led to the death of my friends snake. Very dirty and un pleasant store. Only reason it's not 1 star, is the animals he sells are of good quality. Just wouldn't support a scam artist like him

The rats I got from this store were not friendly. It's clear they were not handled enough and they were bred to be solely for food and not pets. Many health issues. Don't buy from pet stores, go to a knowledgeable breeder. Lesson learned.

This is a wonderful exhibit. It looks very deceiving from the outside and inside. Lots of wonderful animals. Staff is fantastic and super interactive. If you're ever in the area, go visit Northern Exotics. We weren't disappointed! Do not let the neighborhood stop you from going.

I am absolutely disgusted with this place! I seen 2 beautiful cockatiels with such messed up tails and they looked so sad as an owner of a cockatiel when I seen this my heart sank for the poor babies. I was so upset I talked to a staff member about it only to be told that they are shipped that way. If this is the case then they need to find a different company to go with cause this just isn’t right. He told me oh don’t worry they will malt but the problem with this is they could have an injury to a blood feather, they could stress pluck, they could get very depressed and the problem with cockatiels is they’re very good at hiding illness and problems. This just disgusted me so much I wish I could have saved them from this terrible place. Whoever is running this place should really be ashamed of themselves cause you whoever you are, are a sick and terrible person for doing this to animals! Do not support this terrible place!

They got the chance to feed, pet and hold a lot of different animals and their party room was set up with balloons, decorations and colourful tablecloths for cake etc afterwards. They seemed really annoyed with the kids. The guy showing the different animals was rude as if he forgot he was dealing with children. Other than that it was good and the kids loved it.
