Now this business receives a score of 3.9 stars over 5 and the rating was based on 127 reviews.
You may have noticed that it has an average rating is very positive, and it's founded on a very large number of opinions, so we may think that the evaluation is very accurate. If there are many people who bothered to evaluate when they've done well, is that it works.
As you know, we don't usually bother to write scores when they are correct and we usually do it only if we've had a problem or issue...
This Zoo belongs to the category of Aquarium.
Very nice little aquarium. Really didn't like spending $15 to be there maybe 30 mins but hopefully it only costs that much to take good care of the animals. Came right when sea lion show started and they did a wonderful job.
We really enjoyed this small operation that is large with content. Be sure to take the time to visit. They like most think global warming is a controllable event. 50 yrs ago they identified climate change still hasn't happened. Get a life!
This place is great for kids its super interactive, however for couples of even just a group of friends its not the place to go. The aquarium is actually pretty small. Even taking your time to look at everything takes only thirty minutes. For what you pay its just not worth it
Very cool place! My daughter is 12 and she had an amazing time touching the stingrays and seeing all the different fish.
It is a very small attraction. The shows provide a limited viewing area, which is all standing room. Even taking your time walking through it, it can be finished in about 20 minutes. The fish and sea life was very pretty to look at, but since it's a small space it can be over crowded.
I have been going to the Aquarium for most of my life, and have seen it evolve and change for the better! It is a small Aquarium (perfect for younger children), with a focus on education and conservation. They have a beautiful penguin exhibit, as well as sea lions, seals, jellyfish, local freshwater species, as well as other species and information. (At this time, a Shark & Stingray exhibit is being created). A schedule of hourly presentations is repeated twice a day, and both teach about the species and allow for questions with the very knowledgeable staff. Special events & party space also available. Ample free parking and a gift shop too. A great place for a brief visit, or to sit & relax and enjoy watching the sea life.
Nice little aquarium. Went when there were discounted tickets. Worth the discount price, but I feel like the full regular price would be too much.
Maybe a bit small, but it's got some nice fish. The sea lions are the focal point of this aquarium. Outside of the very noticeable fishy smell, there's not much to complain about as far as a small sized attraction can provide. Everyone loves the penguin habitat.
Very friendly staff. Booked the Penguin Encounter. The little creatures are a delight up close! Everyone was extremely helpful and courteous. Has a great time! Highly, highly recommended!
This was such a disappointing experience. The aquarium is really small. There's two floors but the second floor has a handful of small tanks. There is one outdoor exhibit and doesn't even require a ticket. Altogether, it took 20 minutes to see everything. Small is fine except that it costs $20 per person to visit plus parking. It's super crowded which makes it hard to move and see anything. Also nobody was wearing a mask which is just a bit uncomfortable seeing how packed it is inside. It was just really underwhelming, crowded, and a waste of time and money.
We had a great time with the show but my 3 year old daughter started to cry over a stuffed animal at the gift shop... So we took her out to calm her down and when we tried to go back inside... they refused the entrance. It shouldn't be like that. We missed the rest of the aquarium!!! Thank you management.
Nice little Aquarium. Would have been better if they put their money where their mouth was and actually had recycling containers for the single use plastics they rail against but sell on both floors of the aquarium.
This is a decent place to visit with family.....children will enjoy this place a lot....this aquarium has variety of water species ......there are several shows through out the day in this aquarium....I went to this place with my family and enjoyed the shows here.....worth the price....do visit this place if you are visiting niagara falls..
Small place but still decent. The kids loved it, good place to keep them occupied for a while. The trail by the whirlpool bridge is what I would recommend after this place to burn up some energy (especially if you have kids).
Was a fun place seal show was the best part, price is a little high for small aquarium, I pay that price for our whole zoo & aquarium which is twice the size but still had a good time
Even though the aquarium is smaller than many and under construction, what is there is incredibly clean, very well-managed, and a lot of fun. I'm happy to support the aquarium with a visitperiod at my kids ages it takes the perfect amount of time to get through the aquarium. I highly recommend the sea lion show, entertaining and highly informative! My kids love visiting the aquarium.
This is a great little aquarium. The best part is they rehab and re-release injured wildlife, if it is deemed they can thrive in the wild. I could've spent all day looking at the resident seals outside. Staff is very friendly.
After paying for parking and waiting 20 minutes in line to get into the door we were told without a reservation online there was a 45 minute wait list. We had to carry our 4 year old out kicking and screaming. Parking lot was half empty but apparently it was full and the website said nothing about needing to buy ahead of time or a wait-list. Don't disappoint your kids and avoid this poorly ran disgrace for a aquarium at all costs.
Cute little Aquarium.easy to find. Yes you have to pay parking of 5$ plus entrance fee. But worth it. They have a hands on touch pool for the learning enthusiast
The renovations on the aquarium are really great! Sea lion show is always fun and the new penguin area & jellyfish areas are cool
Definitely worth the trip. It's small but it's mighty. Very educational and fun! The outside pinnipeds love just hanging out in the sun and swimming around. The fish and animals inside are just...wow. Don't forget to stop by Shark & Ray Bay. You can touch the animals!
We had a wonderful time, the shows were spectacular, everything is clean and very educational. The mammals are rescued from the wild as they were injured and unable to survive on their own. You can tell that the trainers really are passionate about what they do. I highly recommend it! An important reminder of why we must conserve animal species and reduce pollution.
Small but cute. Nice California Sea Lion show. A touch tank with sting rays is fun. It's a a great aquarium for younger children who who may get bored easily. The aquarium presents an important ecological message.
I have seen different type of fishes with great lighting. You can see sea lion shows and penquin feeding show are here. So better visit during that hours. Enjoy . Hope ur kids will enjoy well.
Small in size, not a lot of animals to look at. The sea lions and seals entertained us enough to enjoy ourselves. You have to pay for parking.
I want to hand it to everyone there giving us all an awareness of sea life and the dangers we as human beings can do of we are not aware or concerned for all life around us. They have done a fine job. Everyone there works hard and we are grateful. It was an okay experience. I wish there were more exhibits for the price for entry. I also think that the staff should be more aware of visitors with special needs. I witnessed someone turn away because they did not have wheelchair access in the front. If there was wheelchair access, there was no way of visitors knowing. But all in all it was a good experience and I recommend it.
Small but done nicely and we've learned a lot from the exhibitions. Over there the first artificial salty water in the world was created and tested ! It's nice to get to see something else other than the Niagara Falls. Call them ahead for hours of operation !
Aquarium of Niagara is a nice small aquarium for kids. The main attraction of the aquarium is the sea lion and seal show. Its a 20 minutes show ever 1 or 2 hours makes it super fun for the kids. The aquarium has a parking lot which is reasonably priced $5.There is a overpass just across the road to reach the Niagara Discovery center which is almost a .1 miles walk. The Maid of the Mist is also close to the aquarium (.6 miles walk) or you can go to the discovery center and get into a park trolley, the next stop would be the maid of the mist. The aquarium has two floors and a outdoor water pond for sea lions and seals and walrus.
Lovely experience. Recommended for people of all ages who love animals.
So much fun! So many water animals to see. The sea lion show was really entertaining and cute. If I come back, I'd definitely go back
Many exhibits was closed due to covid so i did not get to see alot
Small aquarium packed with a lot of great exhibits and two large seal and sea lion viewing tanks. Be sure to check out the sea lion and penguin experience where you get to feed and touch the animals!
Small but very cool little aquarium ! We seen a penguin feeding forgs octopus seals very cool
Great live sea lion show!! Highly recommend visiting this aquarium.
The large seal attraction in the center of the aquarium was closed. They offered us half price tickets, but it was a short visit. Our favorite part was actually free. Outside a few seals had a small pool.
Small place but was an amazing aquarium with lots packed in! So much to see! Check it out when visiting Buffalo! We spent over an hour here! Loved the shows.
It is a small but still very enjoyable aquarium. I think it would be a great place to bring children or make a cute place to go on a date. If you can catch one of the shows, you're sure to be entertained and learn something too.
Had a great time. Awesome place for the family. Definitely worth the money. Make sure you stay for the shows.
It was a great place to spend some time! The trainers working with sea lions was a favorite.
This was so much fun the seal show was absolutely amazing. They did so many cute tricks I definitely recommend!
I was disappointed in the limited exhibits as well as the separate entry to the building that was on the opposite side of the building for patrons in wheelchairs. To enter the accessible entrance you have to ring the doorbell for someone to open the door. This was not very welcoming at all.
Not quite a 5 star place due to it's size. This place could be much bigger. We got there in time to see the workers do tricks and stuff with the seals and they gave a little background on each seal so that part was pretty cool. The gift shop is ridiculously overpriced and I feel they are asking a little much with the ticket prices and paying for parking. This is not a place I'd drive an hour and half to visit again you won't spend more than a half hour here. But, overall the kids really really enjoyed it so I guess in the end that's all that matters.
The aquarium was ok. Steep cost for the small amount of things to see. We lingered at each tank and still were done in just under an hour. The jellyfish were pretty awesome though.
I had never been to an aquarium in my life until today. It is rather small but my 2 year old had an amazing time and it is the perfect size for her, so really that's all that matters. I was surprised at the diversity of species with how small it is there. The new penguin exhibit was very cool. It was also half off since we have a Buffalo zoo membership.
Started off frustrating to figure out how to get on-line Admittance registration for members. Which you have to prepay and get reimbursed, but the website doesn't tell you this. I called and didn't get the correct option for my questions. Once there, the payment for parking was confusing to several of us patrons . The cost is steep for such a small aquarium, but when you realize the animals that are cared for there the money is well spent. Everything is clean, well maintained, and up-to-date. The staff is friendly, and the exhibits interesting.
Small but mighty. I really enjoy this place and you should ask about the conservation and education work they do behind scenes.
Great for kids, but a little small. The touch pool is super fun though and the staff are very friendly!
The animals are lovely and very interesting to look at. Great place to take your kids. Aside from that, this entrance prices are way too high, especially if you’re looking to take a lot of people. Prices definitely not worth for the size of museum and amount of aquatic attractions. Barely spent 45 minutes here; I hoped there was more to see.
Had an amazing time with my husband,a little expensive for gifts and stuff but bedsides that loved all the animals.
Loved it it was very nice. My favorite is the penguins and the sharks. First time i touched a shark in my life..it was awesome
This place is okay and quite small to see all excursions however their sea lion show was really good and the sea lions were v.cute. The selection of fishes were nice but less and some kind of smell was there all over so they need to maintain a bit. Rest was good ,staff was decent. The discovery pass includes this spot so you can cover it easily and enjoy yourself.
A very nice place to visit and have fun with the sea animals. But it's quite narrow, which makes it harder to move through during busy times such as show times. Don't forget to see the Sea Lions!!
Had a Super fun day at the Aquarium of Niagra! Learned so much about all the animals, from the Penguins to the Seahorses, there was staff all over with knowledge about all the animals spitting facts like it's their job, we touched some stingrays, wish the Horseshoe crabs were closer , I was ready to go in shirtless but got advised it is a frowned upon lol , The waterpuppies were swimming and for flips , so happy the take in rescue animals, really gives them a second chance, think there is a blind one , was my favorite! Had a super spicy diet coke! And had cute photos taken at the photo booth! Please support businesses like this guys!
The aquarium is very small, but it is worth it if you like shows. The shows are very good. Honestly, I would recommend going here because the animals are cool, and the shows are great
Not a very big exhibit for what you pay for admission.. You can see it all in about 15 min but they do have some pretty cool aquatic creatures. The shark and ray exhibit is awesome! Don't forget to go upstairs too!
So we had a penguin encounter and it was great. Kinda pricey but the money go directly to the penguins. My only complaint would be the signage at the exhibit. I found myself searching for identification plack's. Still enjoyed it. The touch tank was a hit too. Sea lion shows run through out the day right in the center tank and that adds to the level of enjoyment. Not a day trip like the zoo but still a good time. We spent 1.5 hours there and 30 minutes was with the penguins.
Small but fun. Alot of exhibits closed right now.
Super small compared to what we were expecting...and expensive for a whole family to go... I've been told if you go about an hour before closing, they'll let you in for free!! Good to know ???????????????? we made the drive from Rochester to Niagara...with EIGHT people in ONE vehicle... LoL ???????????? but it certainly made things more memorable ???????????????? I would recommend this for small children and families looking for a way to spend the day and visit the falls area!! ????????????????????
Really small. But the animals they do have are neat. Good for the kiddos.
Has sea lions, harbor seals, coral reefs, lionfish, petting sharks and rays and more. On December 19th the penguins were not on display since they were fixing up their room.
Seal show was pretty awesome. Surprised they don't have seal merchandise in the gift shop. Nice staff and very clean. We were lucky to visit when it wasn't super busy.
It's a really nice and cozy aquarium. It's a little be small but the selection of fishes is relly cute. We had a great time.!
Every enclosure looks too small for the animal that inhabits it. Overall kind of a sad place to visit. The kids still really enjoyed it.
Everyone here is amazing and so informative with the animals and great with the guests and kids.
It's a small little aquarium but it is nice. We enjoyed our visit here. It was included on the discovery pass. The discovery pass is well worth the money.
This attraction at Niagara Falls was a little disappointing. I guess I expected more since it was right there at Nuagra Falls, but is a good respite for a weary traveler or people with little kids who want to give them a chance to touch a few aquatic animals.
This place was a mess and did not seem to care about anything about it. Of course it was packed and there was a writing list, but they told us that they would text me. THEY NEVER TEXTED ME. So a waste of time. But were able to catch a glimpse of this place and I can tell that I did not want to spend 20 dollars on this place. Small, smells like urine, no handicap ramp and three wheelchair bond ladies were stuck at the entrance. Do these people want a lawsuit?
Kids (or the folks who are interested in artifical things) will love this very much. Overall not bad
Nice, small aquarium
My kids had a great time! I'm glad it was included in our Discovery Pass because otherwise I wouldn't had purchased admission. It's very small place but kept up well and it is obvious that the trainers truly care about the animals and nature. You only need an hour or 2. Be sure to take trolley from the visitor center though as it is quite the walk.
Really cute aquarium for some family fun! It's small enough to see everything under an hour. They have a seal show in the evenings which is really fun to watch and a huge hit with the children. They also have a seal rescue and rehabilitation center so before you get worked up about having performing animals, it's only the seals who were deemed to be unreleasable, in other words they did not have the skills to survive in the wild. The staff is friendly and courteous. Overall it's a fun place to visit with family and friends and wonder at the marvelous world under the sea.
Over priced tourist trap. Place is filthy! Those poor animals! I Wanted to love it but definitely wasn't worth the $60 I spent. If I could rate this a 0 I would! The parking machine does not give change. It gives a ticket saying to get a refund inside. We go inside and the girl was absolutely clueless and told me to get ahold of the website that the machine is through. I go through the website and they say there is a 5 dollar processing fee. My refund is for 5 dollars. It's not so much about getting 5 dollars back it's about the whole experience being awful.
This is a fun aquarium to visit. I enjoyed seeing all of the exhibits. I liked the coral reef area and the sharks.
Wow..what a disappointment for the price. Should have been free and then maybe it would have been worth it. We walked in and seen 2 small aquariums..really! I do not recommend for anybody unless you have to go see some sea life. Maybe try a local fish store for more of a variety.
Nice aquarium, not as big as some we've visited, but very clean and beautiful exhibits!
Compared to other aquariums, they are over priced for what they offer. Pretty small aquarium charging premium prices. But...... if your in Niagra Falls, might as well check it out. It is a nice little aquarium. It never hurts to donate to good causes either.
I went here as a child and couldn't wait to have children of my own to share the experience with. My Wife and I finally shared that experience with our daughters yesterday. Even with the drawbacks from this covid garbage, the Aquarium delivered. My daughters were able to pet the Rays and Sharks at the Shark and Ray Bay. They were able to see numerous aquatic animals/species they didn't even know existed. We were fortunate enough to catch a Pinniped show which they weren't sure would happen but the Highlight, The Penguins!!! All 3 of my daughters are now even more in love with Penguins. They are very passionate about Aquatic Wildlife. 2 out of the 3 anyway. Youngest is 4 so she loved it but isn't at that passionate stage yet. We are life long members now! Excellent and Knowledgeable Staff, 5 stars all day long!
Super not worth the money. It was about 20 minutes of time to get through and it cost 20$ for each of us to get in. So like 5$ per minute to look at the small selection they have which i could go to a pet store and see other than sea lions.
This aquarium has to be the saddest attraction in Niagara Falls. As soon as you walk in, you are hit with a very pungent smell of seafood. It smells like a dirty fish tank throughout the whole aquarium. The aquarium itself can be seen in 30min because it is so small. That wouldn't have been an issue if they didn't charge a $20 admission fee and $5 for parking. The woman working the admission desk and the store simultaneously wasn't very inviting, but the rest of the staff was great. The animals look sad and their habitats do not look like they are cleaned daily. Especially the jelly fish, whose tentacles were tangled and falling off. The penguin exhibit was full of feces and was rather small. The only animals who look relatively happy and clean are the seals.
A small but nice aquarium, love the sea lion show ???? perfect for small kids
We have expected lot in that place. But only few water animals. For kids, it was a great place. Luckily that time we had a seal animal show. That was great to watch. For adults, I won’t recommend this place. I
Small but nice aquarium. They doing a wonderful job with rescued seals. Definitely worth a visit if you are in the area.
The sealion show was good, aquarium was smaller than I expected. Kids really enjoyed it
My hubby n I went here while I was visiting the falls. The staff was nice informative,we watched sea lion show which was free. They had a touch section for stingrays. Was good experience overall. Just found it to be smaller then expected but was still ok. ????????????????
Decent aquarium visit for the ticket price. It's pretty small and recommend if u only have time to kill but it's super small in comparison to others. Recommended taking the small mini bus to get there as it's a decent walk from the main falls. Probably best to cover it when the weather is bad outside. Example: rain/snow.
We enjoy this aquarium. Anytime we take a day trip out to Niagara Falls we stop here too. It’s fun for my daughter. It does get quite busy tho, right now they still recommend getting advance tickets due to covid. They also are strongly encouraging mask wearing no matter vaccination status since many of the patrons are children under 12 that cannot get the vaccine yet. You also have to pay for parking which is 5$ and you can do it through texting/website or at the meter. It’s extremely hard to maintain any sort of social distancing here, I do feel they are letting too many people in at once and it is quite crowded while trying to look into some of the exhibits. And the sea lion show which is the main attraction gets super crowded. We went first thing in the morning when the crowds were way less and we left at lunch time when it was starting to get mobbed. Yes it is small, yes it’s a bit expensive but we still think it’s worth visiting. They do a good job of informing about conservation efforts and it’s a gem that our family likes to support.
My two small children love visiting the aquarium. It is small so do not expect to spend the entire day. Many recent exhibit improvements have been made, with many more expected.
Did not enforce mask policy dispite seeming to make a big deal about it and timed entery on web site. Many people and kids were crowded together, far far to many of them were not wearing masks.
This is a beautiful Little Aquarium. The trolley will take you there if you are visiting Niagara Falls State park. It smells like fish lol but the sea Lions are the hit of this aquarium along with the otters. Beautiful place fun, interactive educational experiences for the kids.
Great place to bring entire family very affordable outdoors free viewing of aquatic animals very nice place to relax
I was not sure of what to expect. I was pleasantly surprised by the variety and information provided on the fish there. Good for families and couples!
Nice displays of fish, although not as many as I remember when going decades ago as a kid. The jellyfish exhibit was really awesome!
It is small, but the well informed staff are eager to share their knowledge and love for sea creatures. Two hours are plenty to see it all. The gift shop has a nice variety. There is a free shuttle from the Niagara Visitor's Center. However, since the aquarium has free parking you might want to park there, then walk for 10 minutes or take the shuttle to the center like we did. My kids especially enjoyed the touch tank, sea lion show, jellies display and the seals outside.
A very fun and cool experience. It was very educational and we got to see alot of fun creatures. Its a little small, but still its a great place to visit
Good place to go with kids. Sealion show was very commendable and encounter with stingrays was exciting.
The aquarium is small, but full of beautiful sea life. The seals and sea lions are unable to be released, so they are trained with simple commands and able to work out their energy. The employees were very professional. The gift shop was nice. The aquarium was a great way to spend an hour or so.
This is a great place to see if staying at the falls and crossing the boarder. Great price too. Small and can go through it fast, but very educational and not a bad place for non profit organization. Opened year round, and cant wait to see the new penguin exhibit when it opens. Trainers and staff very knowledgable about the animals that are all rescued from the wild.
The aquarium is clean and the animals they have seem happy and well-cared for. But i must admit that it is a let down as far as what there is to see. There are a variety of tanks with various marine life in them, a penguin habitat and sea lions. It seems they are adding a jellyfish exhibit and says it will be open sometime this year(2019). You can easily see everything in 30 mins and at $15 per adult it seems overly priced for what you actually get. We actually saw everything and then waited for an hour for the sea lion show to start so we could make our son's first time there a memorable experience but the "show" only lasted 10 minutes and was more of a training session for the sea lions. I doubt we will return even after the jelly fish exhibit is done.
Small but great aquarium and very good shows, lots to do
The aquarium has a good mix of different animals that live in the local habitat and those that have been rescued. They have a handful of shows performed over the course of the day, but the facility is small that you couldn't justify staying all day.
Is good for little kids, is not a big place but is nice.
Absolutely love this place! I forgot how small the aquarium is but it's Always a great experience there!
This place was very small. Definitely not worth the 70$ we spent on our family of 4 , I would recommend holding off and spending money on something worth while or that takes longer than 10 minutes to walk through. Not to mention you must pay parking as well. Not worth it like I said. I would also recommend calling ahead and seeing what encounters are open due to covid before going. They were very limited. I was terribly disappointed we wasted time on this.
The animals were so cute and the sealion show was amazing.
Quaint aquarium with good exhibits. Sea lion show was cute. Penguins ????.
Super fun place! Wonderful staff and a great time with the family, definately a must if you are nearby.
Cute clean place... Very small compared to what I'm used to in Florida but it was fun.
Good for a one hour walk through. Make sure you see the live animal show in the center aquarium. Love the lit jellyfish exhibit. Good value if you get your ticket as part of Discover Pass.
Great atmosphere and show with the sea lions. Parking was only five dollars and it is a fun and interesting aquarium. It's not that big and it's easy to get around inside. Memorable event and the whole family enjoyed it.
Another surprise for my husband. He loves fish and their history too
We were there for a girlscout trip, the staff was amazing, I only took off a star because it is kind of small and they charge 14.95 for adults and like 11 or 12.95 for children. So I think that is too much for the size of the place.
Small place but educational. Has a nice rescued sea lion exhibit.
Great stop for families with younger children because it's not overwhelming in size but with enough exhibits and animals to make it fun
Great for a smaller aquarium. Loved the seals and penguins.
We always love a good visit. This is the perfect size aquarium for your littles. We usually stay about 90 minutes and always try to time it so we catch the sea lion show.
The experience itself was okay. Not dirty nobody was rude. Was a pleasant enough experience. Its just super small and doesn't have much. I come from a desert and even we had a bigger aquarium. I don't think 20 dollars a person was worth it. Phoenix zoo and aquarium (literally a desert) has a much better experience. Im using that as an example because again....desert. no water. No ocean. Maybe a lake or 3. Thats it. How do we have a better aquarium than new york...a coastal state?
You can get to see many rescued animals, see a otter show, and even a touch tank. Can get tickets ahead of time, but not needed.
Awesome, not very big, but worth the price! Enjoyed ourselves
Small but was a great trip with the kids
Nice little aquarium ..no animal shows cause of corona.but very nice little aquarium... all animals are rescues which i think is so great ...since they'd not make it in the wild...really great little aquarium.
It is small, was expecting to see more dolphins are whales but for the size it was great for my 1 year old to not get overwhelmed.
Only thing that was good was the sea lion show... honest speaking I believe its over price and really not worth it the money. I've gone to aquariums and spent at least 2 to 3 hours in.... but this one, you can literally see the whole thing within 15 mins... its really was not as good as I thought it would be... I didnt even see not one shark. ???? Save your money...
The Aquarium is featuring a sea lion exhibit outside of the main building. The sea lions are so cute, we had fun watching them.
We weren't going to go becuase it looked really small but I am so glad we changed our minds. It wasn't busy, we were able to stay at each exhibit for longer than a few seconds. The show was amazing. The animals and tanks looks very well taken care of. Every employee we came across was so nice. We enjoyed the arts and crafts too, it was a nice touch for the kids. There is information to read everywhere!!
I had a great time. This place was awesome. If I could give ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I would!
This is a great/cool place to bring kids (and adults too!). Our son who is so fond of stingrays was able to see the beautiful rays up close and even touch them.
The admission fee is not worth the experience. This aquarium is very small, smelly and kinda boring except for the shows which was alright.
This is very nice place especially sea lion show. This is a 10 minutes show worth watching. This is a good place to take the kids but not so big. but they have some unique collection like Aliens of sea and Penguin. Good for some family fun in this small and cute aquarium and can be covered within an hour. The staffs are nice and gentle and the parking is 5$ per day. some one can park here and use the bridge to discovery center and catch the trolley from there. Overall experience is not so great but worth visit once. My full vote on sea lion show and Penguin feeding.
After visiting Niagara Falls, I took my nephews to this place and it was fun attending the sea lion show and examine the different species of fish. My favorites to photograph were the jelly fish.
This location is conveniently next to Niagara Falls. This makes for an easy stop off after visiting the Falls, or being able to take a walk over after viewing the aquarium to see this national landmark. The aquarium offers many different exhibits on a smaller scale. One of the most outreaching progam this place has is a wildlife Rehabilitation for sea lions. The aquarium also offers many different exhibits inside that show various Aquatic Life, from baby sturgeon to small sharks and starfish. If this was helpful please like the post so I know!
Very cool little aquarium and included with the discovery pass. Low rating because it is a hike from the waterfall.
Great little aquarium, on the small side but that makes it a more manageable trip. Staff is awesome and enthusiastic.
I sincerely enjoyed this adventure with my family. It's a nice way to spend an afternoon and not spend an arm and a leg. I would recommend it to anyone. This is not a place your going to spend your entire day, but you can easily spend two hours here. It's for all ages from my 2 year old to my 8 year old they both had a great time. Me and my significant other I must admit enjoyed ourselves as well. It wasn't TOO crowded because we made a reservation but I imagine as the capacity increases it could get considerably crowded. It's not a huge aquarium but there is an upstairs and downstairs as well as a patio with a modest set up of snacks like cotton candy, chips, ice cream etc. I would make an event of this place again with out a doubt. Plus the falls are obviously near by allowing you to spend the rest of your day as "home tourist." JUST GO! :)
amazing place to be! make sure your you book your tickets online or they will be sold out by the time to get there!! I loved the sea lions and I also got a stuffed animal (they are kind of pricey though)
What a fun place!! Staff was very friendly and informative! Animals all look very well cared for and content.
First thing first, they need to Improve the Safety railings on She leon Tank because it's wide open it has enough space that any Kids can Fall in easily. Every thing else is Good.
Very wonderful staff and lots of fun at great prices. You actually get to interact with the sea life. The sea lion exhibit, it's really cool, which by the way I just so happen to have the pleasure of painting. What a wonderful place!!
We had fun time visiting the aquarium. Activity programs of seals were worth to watch as little one enjoyed it alot.
I was very disappointed in this place, first off it was way to expensive for a place this small. I know it’s an aquarium but the smell was overwhelming, the upper level outside was closed and I was looking forward to seeing that, if parts of it are closed you should charge full, way to high price, I felt way to much anxiety because of how small it was. I only gave two stars because I got a cool picture of the jelly fish
The staff here is phenominal. Although it isn't big, there are shows and demonstrations every few minutes. The staff answered all my kids questions and went the extra mile talking about what it took to become a trainer. They do have encounters with the sea lions and penguins for an extra cost.
The aquarium was great, they have a bunch of events happening throughout the day. It was very easy to get to and loved seeing all of the different aquatic life.
For my sons 8th birthday he asked to do the penguin encounter, hes waited 2 years to be old enough for this and now that I've paid $150 to get him and his mother into the exhibit and i paid the extra money to get 2 pictures taken I am stuck behind a locked door with a side lite window that has a black curtain drawn. Dont you think it would be nice if I could have at least gotten the chance to see him enjoy this experience? I did NOT get to see his face light up, i did not get to see anything and the staff made sure of it. I am beyond disappointed! The attached is the view that I have been restricted to. I will never spend another dollar in this establishment.
Enjoyed looking at the different sea life they could definitely use more there it's better for children
Super small but really nice. Affordable souvenirs and a place to pet stingrays. Took about 30 minutes to go through the whole thing.
Pretty neat aquarium, albeit a little small. The seal shows are definitely the main attraction.
What a wonderful experience! My partner and I did the 'penguin encounter' and had a superb time. Abby and Ally (no idea of correct spelling, sorry) helped us along our journey and it was phenomenal from start to finish. We saw much more of the overall penguin exhibit than expected and enjoyed our interaction with the actual penguins themselves, we enjoyed time in a small room with two penguins and two staff and it was funny and informative. Although this aquarium is small it packs a big punch. I would highly recommend attending if in the area.
A very nice small aquarium. The tickets are $13 which I think is overpriced, but it is worth the time going with your friends or even family. The sea lion show was interesting to see.
The aquarium is basically one floor. The price to get in was way too high. After having to pay for parking. Seeing the recuse seals outside was nice but the exhibit that is directly in the middle of the aquarium is very bare and the animals seemed so depressed.
We went with a group of 8 and stayed for just over an hour. It was actually pretty fun because it was Easter Sunday and they had an Easter egg hunt going on inside the tanks, so it kept everyone engaged in the activity! The jellyfish area was super neat! Be aware it is extremely small, and that your money can go toward improving the Aquarium and Niagara Falls State Park. So I didn't mind the cost of entry for that reason.
Great experience. Animals look well taken care of.
Nice, clean aquarium. Informative on preservation and rehabilitation programs. The seals are well trained and happy! Penguins are very interactive. My favorite part was the touch tank for rays and sharks, and the jelly fish area - very cool. I only wish it was a larger facility.
The exhibition is small but had a good time.
Very disappointed that they took out the dolphin exhibit and the big shark exhibit☹️It was replaced with cute Seals, but, still wanted to see Dolphins ????. The Penguins ???? were so playful, found myself walking to end of glass and them following my every move. Made it worthwhile to see these alert and playful guys. Also got a chance to see them feed the seals outside, rescued, where told they could never be released because of their disabilities. But, they were cute as heck. Overall good experience.
It was kinda sad how small it was. I hope those animals have enough room. Took us about an hour to go through and that included the sea lion show. But its a nice addition to the Niagara Falls experience. We enjoyed our hour. Building in a bit of disrepair.
The aquarium is small, but what habitats they do have are wonderful. They have a show with the sea lions and a play with the penguin activity. I highly suggest you buy tickets online prior to visiting and look at the times they are happening. Walk ups were being told they needed to wait. We did both activities and the staff and animals at both were fun and exciting to watch.
Fun place to visit. Wish they had sharks, dolphins, and sea otters. Other than that amazing place to take the family
Very nice, clean facility. Animals looked very happy, and we were told they are all rescues. Sea lions got plenty of fish for doing some tricks, and loved all the attention. Very fun, well worth the money, and supports these beautiful creatures
The Aquarium of Niagara was great. I went with my wife and 6 year old who also had a great time. We watched the penguin feeding and the sea lion training. The staff at both shows were very friendly and knowledgeable about the animals. Highly recommend stopping by for a couple of hours if you are in the area.
It was a great visit! The staff was friendly and helpful. Looking forward to making a visit again in the future.
Really enjoyed the Aquarium, and well worth going in.
My children enjoyed their day at the aquarium on April 6th; infact, one of their best moments was the petting area. They were able to pet the sting ray and other fish inside of the sand pool. Moreover, they was so excited when they seen the penguins and colorful star fish.????
At first glance I dismissed the possibility of having a good time simply because of the external size of the facility. Once we entered though the place seemed to expand drastically. With a large selection of fish, touch tank, and shows- you will find something to please you. Admittedly, the animals could use much larger habitats which is limited because of square footage.
Perhaps I'm spoiled coming from Toledo and having an amazing zoo and aquarium at home; but I do not recommend. Over priced. The seal containment area is too small and overcrowded to be beneficial to their health, and you can walk through the whole aquarium in 10 minutes.
Came here for the lunar new year night event. Although the lion dance and the Aquarium of Niagara performance was a bit underwhelming, the experience was great and loved how vibrant the city is.
Really cute experience. The staff was helpful and very knowledgeable. The show was cool!
My son loved it. There was a show where staffs feed the penguins and tell about them. That was very informative. Well maintained and clean.
Just ok. Favorite part was the seals and penguins. I love that they are rescues. But definitely not worth 20 dollars a person. We also had to pay to park.
We did the penguin encounter and it was a great experience. To have the one on one with a penguin, and to see how funny they are up close was an incredible experience. The aquarium may be small however it's worth the stop.
I wish I could give no stars. I went to this aquarium all the time when I was younger and there was so much more to see. A great white shark head to scale, a shark cage that divers would be in, shark tanks more aquariums and fossil exhibits. I even did an over night with Girl Scouts and got to sleep in the shark exhibit they had and go to the basement to see a touch pool. Now there are aquariums filled with fish you see at a pet store and it takes maybe 5 minutes to walk through and the seal show is the only interesting thing. Not to mention it was $30 for two people and $5 to park. I wish I could describe how small everything is and not worth the money. Honestly just go to a fish store and you’ll see more than you will here.
Beautiful. New Specimen. I never see. Really enjoy.
I went w my daughter and grandkids had a good time and the kids enjoyed it ☺
Not what was expected! Very limited amount of fishes, and the smell!!!. The sea lion show was the best. $20 adults, $15 kids...
Be sure to check out the sea lion show, the seal show, and penguin feeding time. It is a small aquarium, but there is plenty to see and enjoy. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, they allow time during the shows to ask questions, very informative. Great for kids and adults.
We loved the aquarium. The stingray, and shark touch tank was awesome. Penguins were adorable and the sea lion show was amazing.
This place is a hidden gem of Niagara Falls New York. It's inexpensive to get it ($14.50 for adults) and my wife and I had a blast. They had Turtles, Octopus, penguins, sea lions pretty much everything to make a great aquarium. We got to watch the penguins be fed and the sea lions outside were adorable. If you happen to be on the US side of Niagara Falls you have to come here.
Very nice thing to do. Awesome things to see!
We had a good time. Took good safety measures and the jelly fish tanks were amazing!
This is a very small aquarium, but still loads of fun. The sea lions absolutely stole the show and are worth the price of admission alone. Even with the small size, there are plenty of things to see and learn.
Very small facility that could use renovation. If you come, make sure to stay for the penguin showing and especially the sea lion show as that made it worth it. Staff are very friendly and I like all the work they do for education and animal rescue. Construction is underway for a permanent penguin enclosure which should be much nicer.
The area was clean and the seals and sea lions were interesting but this is a small aquarium. We were through it in 45 min. More facts and reading than actual fish tanks.
I loved coming here it was a super cool experience although I wish their was more freshwater fish! I still would recommend coming here if you never have though it was a super cool experience.
Good COVID-19 protocols and nice exhibits. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. We enjoyed our experience.
Small and simple aquarium, but honest. As a part of a group of attractions, it's worth a visit.
We loved getting to see the sea lions and seals. All of the animals were healthy and happy
Delightful visit to a trustworthy falls attraction. Update exhibits, helpful staff. Definitely worth a visit after you have taken in as much of the falls as you can perfect for a rainy day. Great location for bike trails and other attractions.
A bit small but very fun, loved watching the seals an seal lions an the cool ray an bamboo shark touch tank was definitely neat!! Definitely a fun afternoon adventure, highly recommend.
Great place to take kids! Not very big but just the right size (about 1.5-2hrs worth) for our 16 month old twins.
The aquarium is a tad small and a little pricey, but if you understand the non-profit world and love animals, it is so worth it. Great sea-lion show & clean building. Very friendly staff. Thank you for a good visit.
Nice little attraction. Our daughter is two, so it was more than enough stimulation for her, and she loved the hidden Easter Eggs! The touch tank is neat and the exhibits are nicely presented. A little pricey, and I'm not sure why you have to pay to park in their lot, but kids two and under are free so it worked.
Be sure to check out the sea lion show, the seal show, and penguin feeding time. It is a small aquarium, but there is plenty to see and enjoy. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, they allow time during the shows to ask questions, very informative. Great for kids and adults.
It was a very fun time! It was a bit smaller than I expected but it was very entertaining to watch the sea lion shows and the penguins. I very much enjoyed touching the fish in the touch pool. And to top off my time at the Aquarium I witnessed two penguins doing a little whoopie ????
A nice, smaller scale aquarium. It took us about 45 minutes to an hour to see everything. We attended one of the penguin feedings which was fun for the kids to see. The staff seemed very knowledgeable. The exhibits were nice and appeared well taken care of.
My two-year-old loved watching the seals and penguins do their thing, but beyond that there is very little else to do in the aquarium. I'm not saying it is overpriced and I did appreciate the fact there was free parking but I feel more could be done for anyone's enjoyment above a certain age. I'm probably nitpicking but the floors and bathrooms were a bit dirty. We have been to quite a few aquariums and this one just didn't have much to do beyond 40 minutes or so. The staff was friendly and the gift shop was well stocked.
For $20 a person, and pay to park in their lot is a bit excessive. The aquarium itself was very small. We really hoped the sting ray bay wouldve made it worth it but sadly it wasnt. To what we saw there was only 3 sting rays. Non of which came up to the first level to pet. Not to mention our children really could only reach at 1/4 of the pool. After one lap the workers seemed to be extremely irritated if you lingered around to try to actually be able to experience what you came for. Overall, we were very dissatisfied.
While the price point may seem a bit high (around 20$ per adult) for a smaller building, as long as you take in one of the shows and enjoy looking at aquatic wildlife this venue is great. If you have only a passing interest in aquatic life and don't want to schedule around one of the sea lion shows... This may be less of a value for the price.
Nice place for seeing different fish species, good conditions area.
I spent some quality time here and really enjoyed the penguin show and seal show
Great little aquarium. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff! They are opening a new penguin habitat next year!
This aquarium has some really beautiful sea life. Definitely a neat visit on a cold winter day. The penguins are awesome. Lots of cool Jellyfish too. It's a shorter visit but worth seeing. This is a nice attraction for all ages.
Decent place to visit where you have decent collection of sea animals. Penguin feed, sea lion shows were pretty good and worth visiting. Penguins were fed as you were feeding your own children. Sea lions stole the show with their performance and they are worth waiting to watch.
Small but interesting place to stop by while looking for activities to stay busy. Its well maintained and not extremely pricey, definitely a place for children to enjoy!
Was really busy and there wasn't anything really to do but walk around looking into tanks. Thought we'd be able to have a little more interaction. Might be better in the spring/summer when we can walk outside more etc.
This place was so great. The staff was wonderful and so informative. The animals were awesome
Very nice little aquarium, nice variety of animals that seem happy and well cared for
For paying 20 bucks for an adult and 14.99 for a kid. (3 years and under are free) it was not all that the web site put it out to be the fish and animals are beautiful but there's not much there and the gift shop was ridiculous in price way to expensive! But to get out of the house for a little while and check out the sea life its not bad I guess the best thing was the jelly fish tanks beautiful!!!
Nice place where you can see different marine species. They also have a program for taking care of injured animals , which I think is really nice.
I was surprised to see how good they have taken care of the animals. Feeding them properly on time. Its a good place to visit. And its free if you buy the discovery pass
Very small. Very disappointed. Each city we visit we visit the aquarium. Saw the reviews but thought would give it a chance. Definitely not worth the time and money spent.
Not as big of an aquarium as I hoped but the trainers gave a fantastic performance. Overall, the kids enjoyed it!
People are nice. Very small. Short show. Okay for young children. Kind of boring for adults.
Fairly small but really neat place. Sadly no shows while we visited. Currently expanding to add a new exhibit upstairs. The seals are awesome!
First time to this aquarium. Although small it does have alot to offer. The sea lion training show and the harbor seal training shows were both very nice to see and experience.
It was an okayish experience as I had visited Shredd Aquarium recently. The comparison does come in. It was full of fishy smell unlike most other aquariums I visited. However, the popular shows of seals and penguins are good.
Small aquarium but not terrible. Good for a rainy day.
We spent about an hour here. I'm not sure of the price of admission, as we got the discovery pass and this was included with it. It is a smaller aquarium, however it was nice to see a few things that are different and thing you do not usually see at regular aquariums such as the penguins.
Although the aquarium is small compared to others, the content of the aquarium was very well worth it. Make sure to catch the sea lion show as the trainers and sea lions are very talented. I loved that all of the exhibits had tons of information about the animals and the it was prevalent that ocean life conservation is important at the Niagra Falls Aquarium.
Tourist Trap! The place is TINY! Not worth the money! It is a small circle that takes around 10 minutes to see everything. You can see the entire Aquarium in the 4 photos I posted. I gave it 1 star back, because the Sea Lion show is fun.
This place doesn't have much to see. I think kids may like it better. The one in Boston has 3 floors and is much bigger with more exhibits plus you get to touch some of the animals and feed them. I did like that you get to go under the tank and take a picture
Love it. Just wish sea friends had more room to move around.
Good and well maintained small aquarium. Definitely not a must watch item when you’re in Niagara if time permits and tickets have been bought in bundle then we can visit this. Can be covered in less than an hour and they also have the seal show which is good to watch along with kids. Entire aquarium ends with a Gift shop and staffs were pretty helpful if stopped for a question!!
A little expensive for what you get. Especially during COVID, but its still a great experience.
Small aquarium but still very interesting. Also the proceeds go to a great cause. The seals relationship with their caretakers is so incredible to witness.
The sea lion show is good, the penguins are gorgeous. Nice place for have fun with the kids
Took my grandkids. Fair prices considering it's in a tourist area. Spent two hours there. The grandkids (12, 11 & 9) enjoyed it immensly. I even found myself informed and entertained. A nice way to spend 2 to 3 hours. Especially on a rainy day. Employees from the entrance to the exit were polite, educational and great with children. It's worth the price of admission.
Amazing sea lion show. The aduarium is small but it does alot of animal Care and breeding program. I highly recommend the place the staff were also great.
A bit small for an aquarium but admission is included in the Niagara Pass. The sea lion show was great.
It's a pretty small aquarium, but the price is fair for what you get. The place is well managed.
I could spend hours watching the jelly fish move/ float around. :) I also liked the sea lion show. Great overall experience.
Super friendly staff! The penguins, sea lions, rays and sharks were my favorite! They are quite the little show-offs!! We enjoyed every minute being there. Fair price, Loved the interactive petting area for the rays and sharks!!
Not very huge aquarium but good enough for a short visit. They had some really interesting facts written on the walls if you are into Marine life.
Very small and not much to see. Definitely not worth the money! I would rather have spent the same amount of $$$ and gone back to the Cave of Winds for the second day in a row. The sea lions and penguins were cute to see. There is a sting ray petting area but you can tell the sting rays are sick of being touched all day every day bc they swim to the middle where they can’t be touched (and I don’t blame them…LOL). Save your money and go to the falls and enjoy that bc this was very underwhelming!
Its a rather small aquatic center that does host quite some rescue animals, and features some good species of fishes. Don’t expect it to be as big as ur typical downtown aquariums, but catch at the right time for varieties of organized shows.
Very expensive and a tourist trap. However the limited number of tanks is okay, though many of the tanks should be bigger. The sea lion show is worth waiting for and you can tell the people presenting the show enjoy what they do. The touch tank is also quite a good experience and they give the fish plenty of space to stay where they cannot be touched.
Our group of 16 with kids included was greeted with friendly service. When we were waiting on to get masks the younger lady and older lady were giving much attitude and very disrespectful. I bought three masks at $7.99 each and was getting the money when the bad attitude was given to me. The aquarium was nice and all with a variety of animals and fish. A must see for little kids.
Kinda small but I Highly Recommend that you see the sea lion show.
Not a huge place, but they've packed quiet a bit into such a small building. We were only there a short amount of time, pretty easy to fit in to your schedule since there isn't a ton to see.
This truly was a disappointment. We got there at noon and finished with everything there was to do by 130ish and that included the 25 minutes we sat in the "attraction area" waiting on the sea lion show to begin.. There were penguins and the sea lions but that was it for main attractions. The "sea lion show" consisted of 3 employees who each performed with thier respective animal for no longer than 3 minutes each tossing fish treats for some high flipper fives. Downstairs there was a touch tank full of sting rays which was kind of neat. But when I say this wasn't worth the 25 minute drive or the cost of admission at all. Go anywhere else at all instead of this aquarium....literally ANYWHERE. Do better Niagara.
So much info on the animals and fun facts, too. Fun for kids and adults alike. The sea lion show was so cool and I was very impressed at what the animals could do and at the bond they have with their trainors. You could definately tell they are well treated and loved.
Very nice. Kids would love it.
Very small aquarium but it is kept very clean. Enjoyed it.
Didn't really have much room for everyone to see the sea lion show, and noticed alot of people didn't even pay to see the shows or walk around the aquarium which was cool but being my first time there we paid and seen less... it was a nice experience though loved seeing the different fish and animals.
All around great experience. Touching the stingrays was my favorite part. Watching the seals pose for pictures and swimming like Champs was amazing and seeing all the different types of fish was amazing. Never new an upside down jellyfish existed. The penguins were so adorable.
Gotta go slow. I spent an hour. And saw everything. But if you over yourself and read the signs it is a really fun time and the shows are amazing.
Very nice place to see water animals. Lots of fish variety. Star attraction is resqued sea lions performance. Penguins are very nice to watch.
This is a good place to hang around especially with children.
Nice aquarium! I love visiting aquariums and this is by far one of the best I have been too. Definitely going to go back!
As others have said the aquarium is on the smaller side especially for the price of admission, but it seems like they do a lot of good work with the money you spend, from housing and caring for sick and injured animals to rearing endangered species for reintroduction into the wild.
This is a smaller aquarium but was super fun! All of the animals were super energetic! The girl baby penguin, Jules, really put on a show for us. The seals were all playful as well. They buzzed the windows several times and the kiddos loved it. I highly recommend visiting if you are in town.
My children truly enjoyed everything. Being able to touch the stingray and baby shark was a plus. Facility is very clean and the staff are extremely friendly. Will visit again soon for more gift shop toys for my kids.
Small but my kids had a good time
... Something simple to burn a hour with the kids or whatever, plus a decent aquarium, although not very big.
I've been to aquariums in Orlando, Baltimore, Greensboro, and a few others. This one is just eh. It was probably my least favorite. If you have never been to one, it would be good. We took a large group of Amish with us who had never been and they loved it. The group rate was a sham because you had to have 10 in each category to get it (10 seniors, 10 kids, 10 adults) There was 20 of us across 3 categories so we didn't get it. They do honor reciprocal memberships. Would not go again unless someone in my party was dying to go. Sea Lion show was cute and my kids did enjoy it.
Great experience for the family to see and learn about marine life. There were alot of cool exhibits.the kids really liked the seals and penguins.
Really cute aquarium.Great for kids/families for a n afternoon animal filled visit.
The Aquarium was so inspiring, clean, small but has a large variety of animals to enjoy. Especially the sea lion show, catch it if you can.
While the sea lions were amazing, I was blown away with how small this place was and felt the price was way too much for what you get. It takes literally 30 minutes to walk through the entire place and see all the exhibits. 40, if you read every placard. And god forbid you miss the parking lot signs! The minute you pull in it gives you a very negative vibe by threatening to have your car “booted” if you don’t download the app to pay for parking before you go in. The signs are everywhere and the app was confusing and I ended up paying $10 for 24 hours because the options weren’t clear in pricing or what they were for. In all this trip cost us $83 and it just wasn’t worth it. $20 for a ticket just seems like way to high a price for what little you get, especially if you’ve been to other places like the Long Beach Aquarium in CA or San Diego. Plus some of the staff were unfriendly and did not seem to want to interact with the public (in “Shark Bay” which is really a tiny pool with sting rays you can pet), although there were some nice staff too. I had been really excited to go here after moving gave to Buffalo from Los Angeles and bringing myself daughter and I gotta say, we were all really disappointed with the size and therefore experience. Except for the sea lion show, it felt like going to petco for fish.
Small place, but pretty good to bring our childrens.
Weekends are crowded, weekdays are better. Small aquarium but kids will enjoy. Sea lion show (typically < 30 minutes) was good. Generally kept clean (main areas/rest rooms) and helpful staff.
Not much stuff to see there and it's to expensive, but it's ok because it has unique animals like an axolotl.
Not as large as I expected, but worth the visit. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable. This is a great place to visit if you are in town.
A small older style aquarium but they be kept it up very well. Lots of excellent tanks. Sea lions and seals. Penguins. We spent a little over an hour w no kids.
Even though the aquarium is relatively small there is definitely a lot to see and is well worth the trip. There are many creatures to see. If I'm back at the falls I will be making a return trip to the aquarium as well.
I did not like the place, because it is very small, and all activities are suspended, and even the water vending machine only works with cash???? The entry price is high compared to the content and the amount of ads does not match the location????????
Wasn't sure what to expect. One of the smaller aquariums I've been to but a lot of fun exhibits to see. The trainers were out a lot with the Seals. The Penguins were very active and playful.
The price isn't bad, but it's way too small. Not too much to see there but certainly a must do if you have children
Very small but entertaining for kids. No events or activities due to covid. The only interactive thing that was open when we went was the touch pool.
Everything about this place was awesome, but their jellyfish alone are worth the trip.
It's a small aquarium. Not much of fish there. Place was clean and we enjoyed the seal show. Kids enjoyed the show. They have penguins as well. Sharks and octopus was also there.
It's not the Shed Aquarium in Chicago, it's not the Georgia Aquarium in Atlanta, nor the Tennessee Aquarium in Chattanooga... if that is your expectation, this is not the place for you. What it is however, is a small aquarium in a tourist area that boast something a little different! They actually have a sea lion show, much like a smaller version of SeaWorld. I thought this was pretty neat. Yes, the round shape of the building houses the LARGE aquarium that sits right in the center of the building. There are two floors. On the main floor you can watch the show through the glass and see both above and below the water. If you go up the stairs, you can watch the show from above, looking down at the stage and the water. Both offer good views. It smells a bit... like salty fish. I just assumed it was the water or the bait they feed to the seals/sea lions. There is a fee to park and also a fee to enter. It is within walking distance (a walkway is provided) to the Niagara Gorge Discovery Center). It would be a bit if a walk from the Canadian side of the falls, if you were thinking about making the hike across the Rainbow bridge and visiting this place. Also, there is some nearby road construction going on around the area and the aquarium (July 2019). Personally, I would have liked to see more fish aquariums. But the fact that they do a show and have something scheduled almost every hour, along with the seals/sea lions says a lot about this little place. I should mention that the aquariums they do have are pretty awesome, especially the ones with the enormous live corals.... Wow! Good job marine biologists and trainers! PS: They also have a small outdoor Seal exhibit that is actually free to visit if you dont want to pay to go inside. Just thought I would point that out. It's the last picture in this group. Enjoy your visit! For more info, visit "Gebo's Garage" YouTube channel.
Hardly the highlight of our vacation, it was included with the "Discovery Pass" you get at the Niagara Visitors Center and this was definitely the bottom attraction on the list. I love aquariums but this seems dated, underfunded and very lacking compared to many others I've been to. I'm sure the staff do their best to make this a meaningful visit however I couldn't help but feel they're barely breaking even to keep the doors from closing. Niagara will warrant a return trip for us in the future but we will pass on the aquarium next time.
Not very big but a fantastic experience! Shows were interesting and informative. Tanks were large enough for everyone to get a good view unlike other aquariums with too many heads in your way to see the sealife. Highly recommended!
It's a smal aquarium, but it is nice and informative. They house abandoned and sick seals and sea lions, and also display some interesting fish. A good place to learn. They have different attractions open at different times, so as to not stress the animals. So I suggest checking their schedule beforehand. Parking is not free.
The aquarium is small and only have two floors. At the covid times they are following social distancing. But it's not worth a cost they are charging, 2 adults and a kid it's more than 50 dollers. Really small for the price, one of the smallest aquarium I have ever be in. If this is first time you are visiting any aquarium then it's good but if you have already seen any other aquarium then it really not a worth to visit.
A nice family experience if you are staying in the area. Has a good amount of facts on aquatic life and most are being saved or have been saved. Although it is small, there is a lot to keep your focus. The main attraction is the aquatic show. A seal does a wonderful job following the commands of the trainer. It brought some laughs and excitement from the crowd.
It's a pretty small aquarium but the staff were very friendly and informative. We watched the penguin feeding and the sea lion show, which were totally worth the admission. It wasn't too crowded either so I didn't feel rushed as I read the signs and watched the fish. Also happened to go on 7/16 which meant admission was $7.16 less than the regular price! Definitely worth the visit.

I loved the seal show. Very clean. Not too big but nice.
The aquarium was okay. We toured the entire in about 1.5 hours because we did not stay for the show. We enjoyed most learning about the rescued seals and seeing a horseshoe crab.
Aquarium is small compared to others and there's really not a lot of variety of aquatic animals in here. Kinda disappointed.
Was nice on a rainy day and right on the Niagra George trail
Beautiful, I like the sea lion show
The aquarium is small for the admission price which is a bit high for the time that takes to see the sea life. If you really took your time you can see everything thoroughly within 2 hours. There were three or four rays in the touch tank along with a few horseshoe crabs but it was difficult to really touch them because they stayed in the bottom area or by the rocks which is the filtration which is where they rays like to hide. The outdoor sea lion exhibit was nice but they looked bored and the indoor main tank was plain but they do have shows on a schedule. If you're looking for a bigger aquarium experience this is not it.
Much smaller than expected. Relatively clean, seal exhibit and sea lion exhibit are the best part. Gift shop isn't too overpriced.
Immersive aquarium. Many aquatic species. The jelly fish room was my favorite. Gift shop and washrooms on premise. Fair admission price. Not far from the usa/canada border.
I really enjoyed the Aquarium. Some of the highlights were the Rescue Harbor, the Humboldt Penguins and the Sea Lions. The trainers at the Humboldt Penguin habitat were very informative and interesting.
I had an wonderful experience at the Aquarium. It's a must watch with the kids.
Paid $75 for 4, took 10min to walk. Parking is $5. Better for young children.
Nice place to go spend a half hour. It's cool to look at the animals, but there isn't much to see.
The displays are very nice but it is small for thr price
This aquarium is remarkably small, and walking through the park is a better way to get there than through the neighborhoods (the neighborhoods look abandoned.) The seal show was quite adorable, but the close quarters and lack of other aquatic life is a downer. Loved the penguins and rescue seals. But the price point ($15) is high for a 45 minute visit.
Great place to spend an hour. The sea lion show was great. I've been to larger and much more expensive aquariums and didn't enjoy them as much as we did here!
It was very nice and lots to look at.
I hadn't been in several years and I was not expecting much for our visit. I was impressed with the penguin and touch tank exhibits. It was a great family activity.
Great day 13 of us went to visit the Aquarium and it was so beautiful. I loved that we were able to view the animals at different angles, also we arrived just in time for the Sea Lion show I was just like the kids clinging to the glass. It was a great day. Will return
We loved the Shark Ray Bay and the sea lion show. We participated in the penguin encounter and seal encounter and were very impressed. The staff did an amazing job getting us up close to the animals while keeping both our kids and the animals safe and happy! They are still talking about how Smitty the penguin was interested in our daughter's sparkly shoes and Sandy the seal has a special noise she makes when prompted. This is a must-see attraction when visiting Niagara Falls!
No matter how many times I go here I really enjoy this place and always learn something
The exhibits were done really well and it was very informative. The only thing I would like to see more added to it.
Tons of fun if you're alone or with friends and family. Not only do they have an amazing variety of fishes and aquatic animals, but they have a friendly environment where you can't help but smile. I highly suggest watching the 15 minute sea lion shows. It's by far one if the best places in the city.
I think it's a good place to bring children it's handicap accessible I think it's a nice place to go to kill some time
It was very pretty and fun to walk through the wait to get wasn't so long either, but the only bad part was how small it was. I would recommend and rate this experience 8/10
Small biulding but enjoyed the exhibits.watched the penguin feeding and narration. Sea lion show was fun
Finally got to see my penguins! ???????????? Had a great time exploring and learning about all different kinds of animals ???????????????????????????????????????????????????????????? Thank you and special shout out to Della the seal ???????????? (no emoticon boo lol)
Loved it. Have a 4 year old with us and made it in time for the sea lion show. Very informative exhibitions and entertaining.
Highly recommend the Aquarium of Niagara!! The seal show alone is great, but I love me some penguins!!! ????????
Fishes are so relaxing. Interesting collection of fishes. They have sea lion shows that is like the cutest thing you'll see. I personally loved the under water living things besides the fishes and turtles - the aquatic plants were mesnerizing!
Simply don’t waste your time... My girlfriend and I were very excited to go and enjoy the presents of some aquatic animals. After driving for 30 min we were take immediately taken back by how small it looked from the outside, only to hope it was larger then in look... well it certainly wasn’t. The aquarium consisted of roughly one cool exhibit. The entire place can be viewed in 20 min. Not worth the 20$ for admission!
It was ok. Very small for an aquarium. Not worth the 20.00 price for admission and then the 5.00 price tag for the open parking lot. Granted that was for all day... so not terrible compared to the other parking options elsewhere for 25.00 and no readmittance. I get running an aquarium is expensive and that they are using the proceeds for conservation efforts AND it's at a tourist trap, but... at least offer readmittance to the aquarium if a person leaves and wants to come back for a different show when what you have to offer is pretty limited to MAYBE 20 exhibits and a central aquatic show with mostly the same show and a few different ones.
Not much to do there. Very small aquarium. Can walk thru in less than an hour.
Not that impressive. Very small aquarium, not a whole lot to see or do in there and the place just smelled so bad.
Great place, animals are all healthy and happy. Sea lion show was amazing!
I want to rate this higher, but it is such a tourist trap. Very, very small for the price. Not a lot to see outside of the main attraction which is a variety of seals. They keep it absolutely packed as well, which makes it very difficult to move around and see the fish/animals. It was clean, but it was just too small to enjoy for the crowds.
We enjoyed taking a break from the heat to see the penguins, seals, turtles and fish.
The Aquarium itself is really small but thats not the main issue. The animals actually seemed sad to be here. The enclosures were too small, the animals were giving very negative vibes and signs. They also had an event where a trained seal did tricks with an employee. This felt very old fashioned and seems more like animal cruelty than anything. Definitely not animals living in "close to" or similar real life environments. The outdoor display of sea lions was also way too small for the 4-5 animals they were keeping there. Again, very sad and depressing to witness. We skipped the 2nd floor and opted to leave as we felt it wasnt worth it. The cost is too high to see animals so sad. Lastly the penguins?? idk. Seemed animatronic and very unlife like. This is a criticism directly related to how they are being kept. Very sad. save your money, save the animals, skip this trip.
I loved reliving my childhood memories of going to the aquarium for school field trips
Really nice, small aquarium. A little overpriced for how small it is, but we had a good time here. It took roughly 40 minutes to go through, so we were not able to see any of the shows that start on the hour. I enjoyed the rescue seals and the stingray touch exhibit.
My daughter and I along with girl scouts had a sleep over at the Aquarium. The staff was wonderful and surprisingly chipper the entire night!
Entrance is pricey for what they have. I think it is meant to be only visited through the discovery pass, which would make it affordable. They have nice penguin, seal and sea lion enclosures for a small place. It’s still fun for kids after the visit to the state park.
It was very nice show. Just too short. It lasted 15 minutes total. However, you could look around and buy souvenirs. You could also touch the stingrays. But fir the price to get in, it was a little expensive. Thank goodness it was inside and air conditioned.
It's short and cute aquarium, people are friendly love petting sting ray ????
A great place for all ages. From exhibits to peting a stingray or shark to the ever so great sea lions. The see lion show is out of this world and will leave you speechless with the amazing talent both the animals and trainers have. Very clean facilities as well.
Nice little place, you can spend sometime here reading and learning about the underwater world!!! There is some neat aquatic animals.
Very nice aquarium. Sea lion show was great. I really recommend for visit this attraction with kids
Good place to visit with kids. Funny sea lions show.
Very small aquarium and it is in a run down section of town. Because of Covid they are not allowed to do any of their shows which takes away from the full experience. They charge $15 for adults and $5 to park, you would think they would use that to expand and renovate the place.
The place is nice, quite small (15-20 mins visit) admission is high for value. (Hopefully admission helps to take care of the animals)
Cute little place, my kiddos loved it
It was small and obviously older. But they do sea lion rehab there so it definitely is an important place just not in comparison with other aquariums we've been to
Small and over priced but the shows are worth it they have a cool upstairs but it is to small but it was fun the touch tank was fun gift shop over priced.
It was a nice aquarium the seals outside were rescues and seemed more lively than the ones inside, the penguins were pretty much sleeping, the fish tanks and different species were beautiful, the interactive sting ray exhibit was cool but the kid hosting it went over specific rules and then when I went to touch one under the sand, he said don't do that which wasn't said during his speech on what to do and not do. Also I was disappointed that I didn't see sharks the description said they had sharks
It has pros and cons. I forgot just how small this aquarium is. It's also very pricey for how short of an experience it is. The only interactive part was touching the sting rays, which was pretty cool. If you've been to a larger, more interactive aquarium before (like Virginia Beach or Miami Seaquarium) this will be a huge let down. That aside, the first staff we encountered was very rude. The parking station was broken and takes your money but does not print a receipt (which it's supposed to) to prove you paid. The staff who we asked about this had an attitude right away and said the machine is broken (which was not indicated anywhere) and spoke to us as if we were wasting her time. The rest of the staff were nice. We got there a little before 1:30 as the sea lion show was ending, and the next one wasn't until 2hours later, which is way more time than it takes to go through the whole place twice. So, we missed that, too as there was no point in waiting around another 1+ hour. My daughter did enjoy, but it was her first time. Once you've seen it, it's not something worth coming back to for another visit.
This is a nice aquarium. It is rather small but the exhibits are nice. They also a good variety of fish... Even penguins!
A few cool animals, but not work the $70 we spent for 30 minutes of activity. Even with a toddler , we cruised through this. Friendly staff, clean environment.
The sea lion show was the main attraction and it was very good. The sea lions are very well-trained and put on quite a show. The rest of the aquarium was interesting, especially the opportunity to touch stingrays. The admission price is a bit steep but it helps save ocean creatures who can no longer survive in the wild.
Had a GREAT time with my daughter and her friends. The rescue harbor show was FANTASTIC!
It was very small over priced for the size but some people wanted to know how was it when we was coming out we told them that it was small they left My 1 year old great granddaughter and other grandchildren I guess liked it of course but they didn't pay for it either parent shouldn't have to pay or pay full price when paying for children or a child it was very clean
A great family experience to see different animals from the sea and fresh water and to spend quality time together
Not worth the money. Took about 15 minutes to go through the entire thing. Cost $95 for 2 kids, 1 teen, 2 adults. Kids did like touching a sting ray. Facility was clean
So amazing! Highly Reccomend going there. I went with my friend and her Grandbabies. We all enjoyed it.
Nice aquarium, plenty of critters to look at. Although not a very place. Our admission was included in the Discovery pass, i probably would have been very dissapointed to pay the admission price for the size of the place if it wasnt part of a package deal.
Very nice place to visit. Staff is very friendly helpful and mannerly. Bright clean safe environment to take children. Our 3 grandchildren very much enjoyed the day there, thank you staff
It's a smaller Aquarium, but non the less educational. It was under construction when I was there, so there was less to see. The seal show was very entertaining. Price is a little steep for the size of the venue. Look for some coupons from the hotels or tourist info booths to help with the cost
It’s a small Aquarium but we have some fun with the kids
Wish it were bigger! Nice exhibits, needs some clearer labels on the animals in each part.
I wish I could give this place at least a 4star rating, if not only, to help their business so they can continue helping animals, then, for the community. My partner read their timeline. They used to have dolphins & sea otters, etc. Now, they don't have as much. Granted, it's a small facility so some of the animals either aged & passed or were rehabilitated or moved them around so they weren't crowded .. but it just wasn't exciting to visit. If they explained why they didn't have as many or explained how they rehabilitated the animals that had gone or something then it would've been a nicer time. I do love how they rescue & rehab the animals! I like their conservation efforts, too! It's important to reuse plastics to recycling, or simply reducing plastics altogether, so our wildlife can not only survive but thrive - if not for the sake of animal lives & our home planet, then, for ALL (our) species' lives!: -humans rely on the ocean for water, -we rely on seafood for nourishment & -we rely on animals for our learning how to be better humans & help make medical mysteries be less painful & help OUR future.
Very small aquarium, didn't take more than a half hour to go through with 3 toddlers. Kids enjoyed watching the sea lions. Overall it was okay, probably wouldn't go back.
Wonderful exhibits, both of exotic and local wildlife. Great family experience!
Was very excited to go. First time here. For amount I spent it was small 2 floors but not a lot of exhibits. Nice if after a certain time cost was less for tickets
The aquarium was great. Very knowledgeable staff at the touch tank. The kids had a great time.
It is a nice place to visit when you need something to do. It's definitely no Ripley's or large scale/budget aquarium, but they do have a couple of great exhibits, especially the penguins, sea lions, and touch and feel tank. If you take your time you might spend 1.5, maybe 2 hrs there. Worth a visit if your a local or a tourist, I've gone back quite a few times.
Pleasant, though a bit small as aquariums go. I've been before, so this wasn't unexpected or off-putting. Still a good experience and a nice place for a couple of hours of enriching activity for families. Staff were nice, helpful, and informative -- clearly passionate about their jobs. Timed entry with ticket reservations was a plus in my eyes - the space wasn't overcrowded and no one was waiting for a chance to see exhibits up close. The outdoor deck on the second floor was a nice spot for some fresh air and a break. The entire place was well maintained, clean, and relatively modern in appearance. Will go again.
It was nice. It was not very big though. It was part of our package deal, so we entered at a discounted price. Workers were friendly. And the show was great. It really made it worth it.
Pay 5 to park then pay 20 for admission each to see absolutely nothing. Very small and took less than 10 minutes to walk the entire building. The seals were the only thing interesting. Overly priced gift shop as well with a small inventory. Not impressed. You can skip this place even on a cold rainy day.
This was a very neat aquarium. It was kind of small for the price. The best thing about the experience was the seal show!!! Now that made it worth it and was amazing!
They animals are awesome. Got to watch a show very cool would do it again
The staff really care about the marine life, are knowleagable and enjoy doing there job are high energy and have a warm inaction with guest! I'd go again my next visit jist to be supportive.
I went during Covid-19, interactive displays weren't available but still well worth the trip, fun and educational.
It's a little small but the sea lion show was super fun
Very overpriced and very small. Tickets are $20; I’m not sure there is more than 30 minutes of things to look at. Many of the exhibits are small, depressing, and unlabeled. My wife enjoyed the 10-15 minuet sea lion show but was otherwise also disappointed.
Smallest of all aquariums we've visited. Was a good time killer while waiting for the fireworks at the falls, walking distance from the falls so you don't have to lose your parking.
I hadn't been in a few years and the penguin swimming area is greatly improved! They've also added a touch tank with sharks and rays and it was SO cool. They have timed entry and one way traffic flow, everything was very clean, sanitizing stations were easy to find. It's still small, but my kids are 3 and 5, and we were there for about an hour and a half with no problems. There's a nice walkway down to where you can see the falls right next to the aquarium as well.
Pretty decent place. I haven't been to this aquarium for many years, last time I went was about 20years ago.. it seems much different from then. I believe they updated the place, but I feel it is missing some animals and exhibits. I enjoyed walking thru and seeing all the different animals, and learning about the different fish and aquatic mammals. I enjoyed the seal show!! It was a special show for veterans day. :) The price for 2 adults was about $40, and didn't seem to crazy for what you get. People who give negative reviews, are probably the people who rush thru everything and don't actually read...or take the time to learn something new.. I spent about a hour, walking around taking pictures, watching the seal lion show and enjoying each exhibit. My husband enjoyed touching the rays, and seeing the seal lion show. We spent about $50 at the gift shop, and bought a large seal plush toy, a pen, a stuffed stingray and a bag. :D worth it to help the animals. My only complaint wasn't the smell, like some people.. it was actually the Jellyfish enclosure... The ones with the long tails... They at first seemed to be one jellyfish, but upon closer investigation were not one jelly but several.. that were tangled together.. I thought ohh this is odd?? But yes sadly their tails had become Tangled, and they are stuck together in a small tank... Please, someone see to it that they are untangled and maybe one put two in a tank? Instead of 6... That is my only complaint, other than that jelly issue ..it is a good place to spend a couple hours.
Very small, not much to see. What there is to see is very interesting. A bit expensive for the size, but you still feel good about spending the money, because it helps the animals.
We had a great time here!
The entry price is quite high for the size of the aquarium. However, if you go near the sea lion show (starts at 3:30 PM) then may be the price is okay. Good place for family visit if you are around niagara falls.
Sea lion show was cute but some shows were canceled during covid19. We been there on Sunday afternoon but can't get in, we need to book ticket online and choose visit time on next day. Aquarium is smaller than I thought.
It was nice to see once. I agree with all the other reviews that the place is small. Please expand, not for visitors, but for the animals. There is plenty of room for expansion on the seal rescue deck. I can't imagine their inside home is any better. Some of the tanks are just really small for the fish they have in them. The penguins look bored and sad. They all face the rocks and just stand there. If these things are fixed, it would be a nice little aquarium.
The aquarium itself is pretty small but has a lot of exhibit s to see including a small but entertaining sea lion show, seals and a touch tank.Like all aquarium s and zoos it was a little pricey but proceeds go to the animals so it was nice.Good place to take kids and family
I was extremely disappointed that all the shows were cancelled because of covid. Also the whole aquarium is much smaller than expected. I did get some beautiful pictures of each exhibit.
Spent an hour here. It is small but the animals seem healthy and taken care of. Staff was courteous and helpful. We enjoyed it.
Very nice Little aquarium. It had some fish and other animals we haven't seen before. Our boys enjoyed the seal show. One of our favorite things was playing with the penguins, they like to follow and play with you along the glass. The touch tank is a little deceiving, our one son was over the top excited about touching a shark, but the Bamboo sharks stayed in the deep water under the tree roots. Still a nice touch tank, and informative staff.
Went with my boyfriend and our 4 kids. Paid just about $90 to get in. We were there for all of 20 minutes and then we were done. You’re paying to see the seals, there really isn’t much else here. I’ve been to numerous aquariums and this is by far the worst one I have ever been to. It’s most definitely something you could do without. I wish I wouldn’t have wasted my money or my time.
Small aquarium but still alot to see nice seal show and can touch a shark.
Not worth the $20.00 admission. It's ok if you have small kids under 12. I watched people with strollers trying to go up and down the steps. At least the wait for the bathroom wasn't that long.
Small for an Aquarium but nice. Admission does not include Parking.
Very nice. A little pricey for the amount of aquarium there actually is. Nice for the kids.
I have to say I'm a bit disappointed after our visit. The aquarium is beautiful but incredibly small. At the price of admission, we probably won't be stopping again on our next trip. It is conveniently located along the trolley line that runs the length of the Niagara Falls Park. Overall, we had a great experience. I just can't justify spending so much for such a short experience.
They're doing a wonderful job here with the limited space they have. The new shark and ray tank were a hit with my kids, as were the penguins and the sea lion show!
Great experience, the passionate caregiver is inspiring, they really feel part of the animals life, we felt so lucky that we had an encounter with Opus great 30 years old female penguin remember people the money goes to a good cause
Not worthy, very small and expensive for what it is.
Excellent quick socially distant visit today!!
Still rescuing Seals and Penguins which is tremendous! The Seal show was great and loved the synchronized swim with the young woman and the Seal, it was beautiful!!!! Keep saving these beautiful animals and I will continue to visit, great job!
Place is nice but make sure u get tickets online. We paid to park then when we got to the door we got turned away cause they sold out for the day already. Couple seals outside though lol
Been coming here since I was a kid. Some exhibits change and the seal show is cool but it truly needs to be expanded. A river around the place would be cool, inside and out to truly showcase the river aquatic life. We live in an area that has a large amount of the fresh water on the planet. Lets SHOW THE FISH ETC. THAT ARE PROMINENT TO THE GREAT LAKES AND THE NORTHEAST. Is it possible to have staff show off the local fish, crustations, plants etc. that are prominent to the Great Lakes area.
Much smaller than I expected. The sea lion shows were nice and there's a hands on area to touch rays, but expected more for the price.
This small aquarium has a great deal to offer. I was on a Zoo and Aquarium hopping tour where I went to 21 zoos and Aquariums in 16 states and DC in 31 days. NO This is far from the biggest but it is by far one of the best. I would rename it The Great American Young Peoples Aquarium. If you have young peoples in your family this is a MUST VISIT!!!
Honestly I went on 716 day and for 2 adults just under 30 dollars and my toddler was free. There's not much there to look at. The sea lion show was pretty great. It was great for the baby she loved it. But as an adult I wouldn't have gone if it wasn't discounted. Deff overpriced and not much to see.
Little on the small size, but cute little place go for an hour or so.
We had a great time very nice informative about seals and Penguins the workers were very nice at work there I would definitely come back when in the area
For a small aquarium it was a great outing. Fun touch tank and marvelous show with sea lions.
It was really cute. They have some sea lions that are rescue and release which was heart warming
It was a bit pricey but if it helps the rescue animals it's okay. The sea lion show was awesome!! You can finish seeing everything in about 2 hours to see it all.
Small but very nice. They give a military discount
A new touch tank has arrived to the Aquarium and it was fun! Always good to see updates to this location. They truly are making the most out of the space they have. They follow all guidelines and we felt like we had enough space to feel safe. It's so good to get out with our little one and her to remember her older trips to notice all the new things they have.
Great Sea lion show, once you go in you can't leave and come back in. Even to get money to purchase anything from them. Lol
Definitely not worth twenty dollars, it’s very small, and not much to see! but the staff is very friendly.
Nice place, lot of displays, kind of pricey for the size.
Great place to take the whole family.
Better then I expected and perfect for my 2 year old granddaughter!
Nice aquarium. I expected more exhibits, and larger sharks. Still a very cool place to visit.
Nice to have a professional accredited aquarium in WNY. They have harbor seals, penguins, a sea lion show and the new shark & ray touch tank. One recent drawback is they removed the Blacktip reef sharks due to getting too big for a small tank. I hope they bring in new sharks. They’re planning a big expansion for the sea lions in the near future.
Was not worth the money those were the only photos I was able to take of interesting SeaWorld and it smelled really bad and you have to pay for parking outside of the aquarium and then pay to get inside.
We had a wonderful time the staff was super super friendly definitely loved the animals and they even had a kids craft area for the holiday crafts thank you everybody at the aquarium
Really fun and worth going! Sea lion show was so exciting to watch.
Kind of small for about 20 bucks a person PLUS 10 bucks for parking, but was still an enjoyable way to spend a half hour. May be longer with kids. Loved the reacue seals out front, they had more character than a politician and are adorable to watch. The jellyfish were really neat and so was petting the stingrays.
Nice place to take young kids. Not as big as other aquariums but enough to make you go back. Nice that parking is free unlike many places in the area.
Good place for kids and family. You can see see lions and penguins. It took around 2 hours to look around. Parking is available with cheap price.
Place is great for the size and being greeted by the seals out front just awesome! We love you Sandy!!!
Aquarium seemed clean and up-kept. The staff are polite. This is a small aquarium. We received tickets half price with a reciprocity zoo membership. I don’t feel like this aquarium is worth its full price admission. We probably stayed an hour and a half at most. There is also a $5 parking fee on top of the admission.
$60.00 for 2 adults and 2 grandchildren and couldn't send an hour there. Very small Very few displays, extremely disappointed, do not recommend ! ????
Nice clean environment for the critters. Friendly staff. Very organized. Worth every penny.
Very small aquarium but they had some decent displays. Petting tank was fun.
This is a nice small aquarium. Clean and nicely maintained. Staff was friendly and helpful. It took my family of four (2 small children) about an hour to go through. They loved the different types of fish. Touching the sting rays was hard since we came in January with snow coats on. Had to take those off, and did our best to roll up the kids sleeves...but still they got their shirt sleeves a little wet as they reached down into the tank. But still they had fun trying to touch the stingrays. The penguins were awesome and playful. We didn't see any extra shows because of COVID, but still plenty to see. Don't plan on spending a day there...this is not San Diego or some other large place...but still a nice place to visit. Lots of local fish too, which is nice since we are in the Great Lakes region. We plan on returning several times soon to see the animals.
Absolutely beautiful! Are family of 4 loved it. Our 4 and 6 year olds loved it and couldn't get enough of the hands on tank. The gift shop had lots to choose from with lots of hidden jems. Plan for and hour plus show times. A must see family attraction!
It was a bit surprising and disappointing to pay $20 per person to walk around an aquarium where it took us 20 minutes to get thru the entire place, and that's with stopping and reading most of the signs on the displays. The entrance shouldn't cost more than $10. This was so disappointing.
Had a really great time here. Wish gift shop had more items like magnets.
It's alright. Certainly not worth $19 a person. It only has two floors. We didn't see the shows... I'm sure perhaps they help make the $19 worth it. If you have absolutely nothing to do and can swing 19 for a very small quick aquarium it's not horrible.... parking is $5. If you didn't get to do it that's fine nothing much missed. The animals seem very well taken care of !
It is very small!! The only thing that made it worth while was the sea lions show. Make sure you check the times for it if not it's really not worth the money!!
Small but enjoyable experience at the aquarium. Loved the seal show. And the hands on experience with the horseshoe crab, bamboo shark and stung ray was a surprisingly happy one.
Nice, clean small for what you pay but an overall good experience
We loved our visit , we haven't been to aquarium in years, were from Pa .
What it lacks in size it more than makes up for with wondering displays. The staff could not be more helpful, posative, and wonderful. If you are within 500 miles it's worth the trip They care! About the environment, their animals, and the guest. A++
My niece (11) & nephew (13) spent a wonderful Friday afternoon at the Aquarium of Niagara. Wonderful staff, great show ! Lots of hands on activity. Enjoy a walk along the parkway and check out the Power Authority. All great attractions
Wonderful exhibits especially for the price! I definitely recommend.
Very nice small aquarium. Perfect for a family with kids. Lots of interesting experiences.
Nice place to visit. They have a lot of different displays of fish and a ton of info. This would definitely be a place to take your kids.
Not the biggest aquarium my Littles have been to, but I wanted them to experience what I grew up with and it didn't disappoint. They had a great time. And I love that the sea lions are still outside greeting you before you enter . Such good old & new memories.
Small aquarium, handicap accessibility is not adequate, tanks seemed a tad crowded. Staff was kind and courteous even as customers tried walking over them at the touch pool, but the aquarium it’s self is definitely a one and done type visit.
Very disorganized. People all over the place with no clear way of knowing how to get in. Had to carry my son's wheelchair up stairs with help because it was not clear where to enter for handicapped. Price was high but I expected a decent amount of exhibits. That is not what we got. You walk around the small tank once and then walk around the top once. Barely kept my family entertained for 45 mins. There was a small petting area which my kids enjoyed. Would not recommend going even on a rainy day. Not worth the $80 bucks for entree.
Pleasant staff. Proud of new facility. Staff knowledgeable so that is helpful.
