Best animal park I've been In a while. So much has changed. If your struggling depression or very stressed, go spend an hour cuddle the baby goat and talk to the cockatoo. I'll feel great when you leave. Worth the money.

Great family day out. Good value. The splash park is an awesome addition.

Kris Shanahan

Fun place, lots of wildlife to see and pet. Private encounters available for more popular animals like koalas

Had an outstanding day with the family at Oakvale, there's so much to see and it's well worth spending a couple of hours there! Lots of animals for the kids to see and some amazing opportunities for them to get up close and personal with them too. Take some food & water as there's some great spots to sit back for a bite to eat. Highly recommend you come and check out Oakvale Farm.

Saddim

Great place for the kids...the water spray area is very popular. Plenty of opportunity to feed animals. The whole park is nicely designed and mainained...well worth a visit.

Amanda Newton

We absolutely loved this place. The staff were fantastic and made time to talk to you about their amazing wildlife. Full of helpful tips and knowledge. Feeding the babies was great and even got to milk a cow! Definitely worth a visit.

Chai Lim

My son had a fantastic day at Oakvale; there's so much to see and do that it's definitely worth the trip! There are many animals for the children to observe, as well as some incredible opportunity for them to get up up and personal with them. There is also a little water play area for children. It is highly suggested that you visit Oakvale Farm.

A wonderful experience for the whole family, there's a tractor ride, get up close and feed the kangaroos, feed the baby goats and sheep, BBQ facility, plenty of picinic tables, bring you own food or buy hot food at the cafe. There also a big water play area for the kids. We had a great day.

Mark Tho

Great park, well maintained, kids loved the animals, feeding patting watching. Water play area was amazing for the kids, sit and have lunch while they play. Friendly staff. Will visit again.

Simon King

Great family day out. Milk a cow, bottle feed a kid, feed the kangaroos, listen to the talks. Get your photo with a koala, snake or crocodile. Checkout the dingos, cassowary, reptiles and lots more. Clean amenities and a water park to cool off in after lunch. Something there for everyone.

Kieran Harvey

Pretty good fun for the family. Plenty of things to do and adventures for all ages, reptiles, tractor rides, birds and kangaroos. It gets quite warm on hot days with only a few shaded areas. To top the afternoon off and cool down they have a great water play area with big splash bucket suitable for all ages.

This place just keeps getting better. My kids love feeding the animals, petting the free range animals including kangaroos and goats. But the splash zone is a favourite in summer. We have an annual pass and would recommend to anyone with kids.

A great day out. My only issue is the admission prices are a bit too high. But I would totally recommend going. Great BBQ or picnic facilities, good toilets and changing area. The ground on the playground next to the water activities gets very hot so don't let your kids run from the water stuff to that playground. They also have great looking food for sale and seems fairly well priced.

Javier Torres Rodríguez

Nice place to go out for the day good to get there early so the animals are still hungry and not almost in a food induced coma lol, they have ample room with a wide range of animals, along a water park and 2 playgrounds the water park is suitable for 1year olds and up to 15 or so. Cheap souvenir shop especially if you compare to a larger zoo.

Jye Kelly

Took our son here for his birthday and he loved it! Besides the baby goats, which unfortunately did push him off the chair. Was able to pat many animals, feed animals and milk a cow. My 3 year old loved it!

Robert NESPECA (Nezzy)

Farm animal feeding was fun, kids have enjoyed the visit. Lots of other interesting animals, birds and reptiles to watch.

Danielle Drake

This place is great for the family, it’s a very hands on experience being able to feed and pat many types of animals that roam the park. There is also a splash bay and 2 great play parks that are large and a great place to sit down under the covered area and have lunch while the kids play. We buy a annual pass and go every two weeks or so, the kids can’t get enough.

Rick Reynolds

Great place for the kids, lots of opportunities for hand feeding. Water park and kids park was fantastic.

Karin Sams

A lot of open space, animal looks healthy and happy, we can interact with most by touching and feeding them. Very friendly place to spend with family.

Collin D'Souza

Oakvale Farm an Fauna world is a MUST SEE for visitors to the Port Stephens area. There is a huge selection of farm animals from overseas including Water Buffalo, Camels, Alpacas etc and feeding baby goats with bottles is a must for the kids. The main attractions are Australian native wildlife and reptiles. You can feed free range kangaroos, Emus and see dingoes, wombats, Tasmanian Devils up close and Pat Koalas! There is a great brand new Water Park for kids and plenty of seats and shade. Animals and attractions are always being added and upgraded!

Doug Wiggins (Video Innovations)

Reasonably priced, especially if you use the water park and go on the tractor ride. Not a huge park so you don't have to spend the entire day there if you have other places to visit in the area.

ben fisher

Great place to relax and see a wide range of animals. I recommend getting the feed bags, plenty of animals eat the feed.

Leonie Etherington

An absolutely delightful place to visit! The park is incredibly vast and has lots of attractions to explore. You can tell that the staff are passionate and treat all the animals with respect. Very affordable, for $30 you get to wander around the entire park (without being rushed). Feeding the baby lambs/goats was a once in a life time experience. Definitely go visit here!!

Wow! What a day for the whole family. Was not expecting the experience that came out of this visit to Oakvale Wildlife Park! An absolutely fantastic place, with wonderful people, well maintained grounds and the best hands on style zoo I've ever been to. The price for entry is amazing value for money with everything you get out of it. Make sure to pick up feed so that the kids will experience the best the place had to offer.

I really liked it because it’s smaller and less crowded. So you can have more time feeding and petting the animals. But we visited on a Friday afternoon so assuming most are at work. Also a really fun and small water play area that is perfect for the kids! So bring a towel on a hot day! There is also quite a big playground so your kids are sorted! An electric BBQ if you wanna cook up a storm! Follow me for more on IG @iambruisedlee

It’s an amazing experience. My son likes these local animals so much, but it is a pity that my son didn't hug a koala. Can you please tell me how he can do it. We will return if possible.

Gourang Shah

A great stopover before heading back to Sydney from Port Stephens. We love feeding and patting the animals and alot of them were freely roaming. The animals looked healthy and happy too. The cafe has basic menu but it got what you need. Wear comfortable/ appropriate shoes as it can get muddy on some areas during rain.

Benjamin H.

Must go attraction but take own food.Great family outing. Kangaroos, koalas, dingoes, camels, lemurs, reptiles and more. Playgrounds and water park. Been four times and it gets improved each time but unfortunately the food is getting worse, take your own otherwise fantasic. Would be five stars only for the food, sorry.

Matt Justaddwata

Wildlife pure. Amazing zoo with australian animals in a natural environment. You can't be nearer to animals then here. Huge car parking. Unforgettable impressions for sure. The best zoo in NSW.

Emelia Ayorkor Sowah Adjetey

It's a wonderful place to pass time wether with family or independently. Lots of different animals to see. Free of charge! There is a playground and a toilet facility, rubbish bins to 5he place tidy and a walking trail. You would like it ????????????

Shane White

Park was clean and tidy. Plenty of green grass and not too dusty. Great range of animals. The kids loved it. Good size to spend an hour or two walking around it. Lots of tables around the play area, came in handy when it rained.

| Family farm with many species of animals | ???????? ???? Koalas, Dingos, Tasmanian Devil and more special animals ???? During the day there are different activities with animals, the staff teach you to take care of them, feed them (farm animals) and the interaction with them is very positive. ???? The staff is professional and specialized in animal care and habitat. ???? Recommended to go to Oakvale! ???? Excellent place to visit and learn about the wildlife ????

Sophia Aharonovich

Great value! Fantastic atmosphere. Awesome enclosures and wide variety of animals with loads of interaction for all the family. Great BBQ area and wet area. Wheelchair friendly. Loads of parking.

Benny Bucko

great zoo for little kids

KNG555 JR

The main highlight is definitely the kids playground. There is a water playground where kids can get wet and run around while the parents can use the BBQ areas nearby and sit under the shelter on the many picnic tables. There are a few animals to see but not alot including a reptile enclosure, petting farms and also some interesting barn animals like the Texas Longhorn and Highland cow. Lots of trees and plenty of benches under the shade to lounge around with the wandering kangaroos and goats and sheep.

Jennifer Badman

Really well looked after, great for kids with baby animal feeding and water splash area. Great to just walk around and enjoy the wildlife.

Trent Bradshaw

There is a lot packed into this park. Friendly staff and well laid out exhibits. Lots of animals moving freely in the grounds hi say hi to.

Chris Gander (Digital Goose)

It's perfect place to keep your kids occupied for a day. It's a short drive from Newcastle, Raymond Terrace or from Nelson Bay with ample parking. They have got a variety of domesticated animals that you can pet and feed. The $2 feed bags are huge and almost all the animals will accept the feed. They have got large play grounds with a variety of things to keep your kids occupied the whole day. The tractor ride though short was fun. Will consider getting a annual pass now that my kids enjoyed it.

Rhys Bailey

Great family fun day out. Arrived early before the crowds. A beautiful day. Kids loved getting up close to hand feeding the the animals. Definitely recommend this place if you are heading to the Port Stephens/Nelsons bay area.

Kayla Cook

Great place to spend your day with or without kids. Heaps of animal interaction, wide diversity of animals presented, great friendly staff, big playdround and waterplay area.

Benjamin Legg

A fun experience for the whole family. Loved getting hands on with the animals. The splash bay located in the park provided a much needed relief towards the end of a hot and tiring day ????

Erica Stoner

The kangaroos had babies about 6 months ago and the joeys are starting to pop their heads put of the pouches ???? it's such a good place to visit any time of the year!

Brett Campany

One of the best places where my son enjoyed to his fullest. As soon as we entered the tractor ride was about to start, they were so nice to wait for us enter. The place's speciality is the water park and we had absolutely fun time with my son playing there. Nice food options available too. Totally recommend. Did not click snaps as we were enjoying fullest.

Will K

Such a peaceful quiet place, lots of different animals, we got to feed a bottle to a piglet, have a tractor ride around the park and pat a sweet cow. A very lovely birthday was had ????

Nico Uitenweerde

Ajith Govindan

Such a beautiful wildlife park with family. Specially good on days which is hot but not humid, has a breezy air. The tractor ride is great. Kids would love friendly animals. Did someone say it has kids splash pool area. It’s so great fun for kids & also the cafeteria has smooth potato fries.

Renee Galway

Great place for the kids. Even on a hot day. Plenty of animals to keep them entertained, as well as splash park

Huanyu Zhao

Great day out, Always enjoy our visit here. Staff are very friendly and have some amazing wildlife on display.

Debbie Fordham

So glad we took the kids ???? lots of animals and you get to touch and hold before you even walk I the door. Lots of space to walk and run. The kids got to feed the animals and even caught 2 kangaroos have a punch on. The staff were friendly and happy to help and answer questions. Highly recommended ????

Bianca Jamieson

Absolutely amazing place for a farm experience with friends and family and especially for the little ones. Not just to experience farm animals but also to encounter an experience with Australia's wild animals and reptiles such as pythons and snakes, crocodile, alligators, blue tounge, koalas, limurs etc etc and to top it also includes entry to the water park in the price of the ticket. The only negative was the food on premises which didn't taste so nice. You could spend an entire day here without getting bored and do get on the tractor train for the farm tour

Karl Chong

Great outing with the family. A lot of animals to come and see, and greeted by friendly staff

Jona Finuliar

No wait

We have been a few times but the park has really been freshened up & I loved the new splash area for the kids. Also brought the kids and myself ice creams and had change feon $5 a pleasent surprise :)

Lee mavin

The place has had some minor upgrades since i was last there in 2016 but my 4yo thoroughly enjoyed his day there recently, pricing was reasonable and not too expensive.. If the kids are happy then so am I. The only thing I could suggest is some shaded huts up near the camel.. ????

Angie Fryer

An amazing place affording countless animal encounters. Always a favorite animal park. They have done several renovations and additions like a splash park for kids (unfortunately closed on our visit) and new Koala exhibit. Tractor rides around the park are a fun way to see the grounds. They offer good food (at reasonable prices) and indoor and outdoor seating. Highly recommended!

Great day at Oakvale wildlife Park, with a trailer ride around the park, great coffee & food ( roast beef & salad wrap, hot chips & gravy, & a donut ). Enjoyed bottle feeding & given pellet food too the goats, a really great day out.

Karina McLennan

I loved Oakvale, having the opportunity to get up close to these beautiful animals was an awesome experience. Even made a kangaroo friend who allowed me to give him a hug, very friendly. Happy I visited.

Francis Whitehead

Legit, the best way to spend a couple of hours whether you are young or old or in between. As long as you love animals you will love Oakvale Farm. I loved it as a child in the 80s, a teen in the 90s, a 20 something in the 00s and I still love it now as an adult. The oldies love it too. It has all the charm of a family farm with but with everyones favourite Australian native animals and a few new exotic friends. Speaking of, there have been a lot of upgrades recently including lemur island and some meerkats. Other notable recent additions include quokkas and a water park for the kids to cool down. Rather stay dry? You can bottle feed baby lambs and kids (baby goats not other patrons), hand feed kangaroos and wallabies, milk the cow, ride the tractor and play on the play equipment. There is so much to see and do. You will love it here!

Adina Wheeler

A wonderful place to visit. Child friendly. Great diversity of animals, birds, wildlife, kangaroos, wallabies, able to feed them, they are very tame, loved the Texas Longhorns, biggest tongues we've ever seen. The waterpark was great and just what the children love. Highly recommend a visit ????

Irene Caruso

Love Oakvale! Been going since I was a child and have had the chance now to take my own children! Such a wonderful well kept park with great feeding experiences. The staff are so lovely and kind

Ellora Day

Small park. Nice range of wildlife and friendly staff. Good way to keep entertained for a couple of hours.

Kellie Neal

Always fun and awesome space. Come back ever year

Rob Elliott

This is one of my favourite places to bring overseas visitors and to go when I'm up in Port Stephens. The highlight is the baby goat feeding (11am and 2pm). The koala show is great too, and make sure you grab a bag of feed as the animals are all very keen for food. The rabbits are just so cute and there is such a lot of different animals in such a well kept area.

Natalie Cooper

I would highly recommend getting the feed bags! this place is amazing and you can tell every animal is well loved. I love how social and free most of the little animals are such as the goats, ducks, chickens and roos. you can also use your Dine&Discover vouchers here.
