Great place to take the kids to meet the animals. Gift shop has so many nice things, I recommend hiding the bank card before the wife goes in there. Easily a 5 star.

A nice little petting zoo, the animals are treated well and don't really care if you're there or not ???? We loved the plant nursery be gift shop too! Friendly and hard working staff.

My family loves superior farms! We always try to purchase local and they have a lovely shop and the great gals that work there always make it an enjoyable experience. We love the animals too! AlwYs so clean and the animals are very happy and healthy...treated as family! I have found myself sometimes needing a bit of animal therapy???? and this is where you can find it.... nothing like a goat jumping on your lap for a snuggle or a piggy rub and of course a little talk with Lucky the goose! He loves seeing himself on your phone and will “ honk out” quite a story if you let him! Or her?! Thanks again superior farms! See you soon! Lisa

Spent an early “Mother’s Day” with my mum , had a lovely time picking from their pristine flowers and herbs.. and all their stunning hanging baskets! … not to mention they have a beautiful gift shop loaded with a massive variety of styles and price ranges - also fun stuff for kids .. We also spent time in the petter farm side admiring all the happy mini animals ????❤️ Plan to spend at least two hours here :)

What a fantastic place!! The kids love the little petting farm, and their plant selection is fantastic. The store has such cute planters and decor and reasonably priced. They’ve been great to put items aside for me when I can’t make it in or want to make sure that I’m getting what I’ve been searching for! Super helpful, very very friendly. I highly highly recommend Superior!

Dropped in to Superior farms this past weekend. They have a fabulous Xmas display and great selection of holiday decor for purchase. My girlfriend and I had a blast shopping for the holidays. The store also has beautiful housewares for purchase. Bring your children to visit the animals.

They have a wonderful selection of plants and flowers for your garden and a small petting zoo with many mini animals. Don't forget to shop in their little store. It is chock full of unique decorative items for your home and garden.

We love everything about Superior Farms! Their workshops, the beautiful house wares shop, the plants, their talent… and now their farm camps for kids! My son has never come home as excited to share everything he did at camp. They allowed him to learn and experience so many new, important aspects of farm living and working. We will definitely be putting him in again! I would 100% recommend everything about Superior Farms!

Had a great time with the kids. Can't wait for the trees to grow in so there is some shade in the enclosures but otherwise it was wonderful. There is a covered patio with lots of tables and chairs for lunch. The cows are the cutest!

Great little outing for families! The animals are so well kept and happy - paddocks are very clean. Lots of tables to enjoy a packed lunch (they only sell refreshments). They also have a greenhouse with plants (flowers and garden veggies etc) for sale and the most beautiful gift shop with housewares, toys and jewellery. There is an entrance fee and they also offer annual passes.

We went to superior farms for the first time today and we are so glad we did. We got to snuggle with a baby pig! The staff was very friendly and efficient. The anaimals were also very friendly and well taken care of. We especially loved the brown cow and the friendly duck. Last the gift shop was incredible. We will be back!

We had a great time at Superior Farms. Staff was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. Miniatures were awesome. My two teenage daughters loved it there and could have stayed all day. Definitely will visit again on our next trip to the island!!! Highly recommend if your in the Nanaimo/Parksville area.

We had a blast today at superior farms. Me and my husband went on a whim as I'd been wanting to go for ages. The lady at the front desk was extremely cheerful and it was such a beautiful day to visit all the animals. Enclosures were very clean and well maintained. A wonderful retail section also.
