Told me my dog did not have parvo brought him to Moncton turns out he did have parvo they may as well have killed my dog because he would have died if I didn't take him somewhere else they suck..... since you just answered my review I spent 300 some dollars for test that you guys told me that my dog did not my dog did not have parvo but he was sick and if I wanted to know what he was sick with it was another three hundred and some dollars to take the same plug that you took the first time I said no I went home my dog puked I brought them straight to Riverview in Moncton and he had parvo they isolated them for 2 weeks and it cost in Moncton and he had parvo they isolated them for 2 weeks and it cost me 4500 more dollars which I have no complaints about spending because I saved my best friend but she was almost 2 hours away from me and I had no way to go see him all the time or barely at all it would have been a lot nicer not having to pay for gas back n forth..not like I had any extra.. if he was in town... and then I got a phone call from Waterview asking me how Hugo was doing and I told them that he has been in Riverview animal hospital for the last week with parvo and they hung up on me I thought that was very rude and it really changed my mind about ever bringing my dogs are again

Okay service , brought in my pup as she had hurt her paw on xmas day and they were able to squeeze us in before heading back out west for work in a few days. Turns out it was just a bad sprain which I knew but wanted peace of mind before we started the drive back that it wasn't serious and finding out 4-5 days later that it is now a major issue. Since being home my dog's been recovering well from the sedative, and seems to be walking more on her paw, due to nothing from the vet I should add, I've been taking her for small walks and having her out weight on her paw, same as you do for physio with humans, gradual weight bearing and ease back into activities. I've tossed the meds out they gave me for her as I want her to feel the discomfort in her paw. Completely disagree with the vet here in this and never should have accepted the meds, as I knew better, waste of money. Seems everyone provides meds for basic stuff, I'd rather the dog realize her paw is sore and I know.if we are.oushing it from reading her body language. Pros on the clinic: -clean -easy access -friendly vet -willingness to book me in last minute. -provided me with copies of the x-rays when I asked for her file as i see multiple vets as.i travel for work and I keep her records with me. Cons: -reception seemed a little unfriendly? Off day maybe? She didn't say much and I wasn't approaching her to chat, as I got an off vibe from her when I walked in the door as did my dog, her demeanor changed completely walking into the vet compared to the 3-4 others we have been to. -no towels/blankets to put on the exam tables, not sure why this is a no brainer for cats/dogs. Stops from slipping off the tables, and is comforting to them if they have stability. Every other vet I have been to does this for this exact reason. Anyways, I'd go back if I'm ever home with my dog again. I'd just push back a bit more on their suggestions of.meds/etc for minor injuries.

After not even an actual full exam I was told one thing about my cat. I had to suggest we give her an X-ray in the first place. She was given medication that didn’t really make sense.... Next day I take her to another vet because she was even sicker and because of the lack of treatment at Waterview. She was dying. Waited almost 3 hours for them to send over X-Rays to see if there was anything I could possibly do to keep her alive and they could not even be bothered to send them over. Do you know how hard it is trying to see if you can do something to help your pet and keep her alive. Yet you can’t even send over her X-ray I paid for the day before?? Super great service and now my best friend is gone. Thanks!

My cat was in an emergency situation, and in a lot of pain, so I called to make an appointment - while on the phone the vet tech heard his painful howl and said I could bring him right away. It was determined it was a urinary blockage, he needed immediate treatment and would have to be hospitalized for a few days. This included the weekend, and my only complaint is that there is no way for me to get updates on his condition. This policy is for safety reasons I presume and for the proper care of the patient. I did send an email and much to my surprise received a response within a few hours. I do want to visit my cat, but for now I fully trust in the care he is getting - I just wish there was a better way to keep owners updated.

I will never use their services again. Besides the rude receptionists, when my cat was very sick, profusely drooling and vomiting, they said "Just keep an eye on him". Hours later, after they are closed, I had to bring him in to be seen as an emergency. The vet that agreed to meet me at the clinic was extremely rude, and in so many words said it was my fault. If I wasn't so worried about my best friend, I would have been furious. Garu didn't live through the night, and my last memory of him, is some guy telling me it was my fault.

Waterview has been our vet for the last 5+ yrs, for both our cat Phoebe and our dog Hank, they are great, fast, friendly, and always treat our babies with such care, perhaps a touch on the more costly side, but 10000% worth it for the ease of access and peace of mind that comes with exceptional service and care, the staff are friendly and the know their stuff, the docs are all super great, especially Dr. Mackenzie who I couldnt recommend enough, your pets are in good hands with these people

ATTENTION!!! Take your pets to Red Bank Veterinary Services Great staff very welcoming and accomodating, they truly are there for the pets. After our horrible experience with Waterview Animal Hospital's receptionist Heather who is nothing more that a bully, we took our pup to Red Bank Veterinary Services, it's a bit farther for us but the welcome atmosphere and respect is second to none! Heather the receptionist/tech was extremely rude to us, no greeting just told us to take a seat no eye contact, tried to speak over my wife's wishes to not buy their dog food. Dr. Bolman had to intervene on my wife's behalf and said that we didn't have to buy their food. Heather doesn't seem to get it, it's not about her, it's about the animals and her condescending behavior is a big turn off. Will go to another vet as we were treated so poorly, watch out Heather is a bully who should not be dealing with the public. I will make sure that I pass this review on verbally to anyone who is even considering going to Waterview. Horrible customer service!!

*UPDATE* A year later and I am still dealing with the repercussions of Dr. Harts mistake that he made in surgery with my dog. Because of the instability in my dogs leg, the meniscus is now torn and needs to be operated on again. This will be the THIRD surgery on the same leg. It should’ve only been one surgery. Dr. Hart needs to come forward and admit his mistakes. My dog is the one paying for this. My dog had Cruciate surgery by Dr, Hart. Only 5 months later my dog needed surgery again for mistakes that Dr. Hart made. The screw that was put in is now coming out. He insulted me, argued with me, ignored me for weeks and took no accountability. He only cares about getting his money. My dog had Cruciate surgery by Dr, Hart. Only 5 months later my dog needed surgery again for mistakes that Dr. Hart made. Save yourself the emotional and financial stress and go elsewhere.

Our dog, Sparkey, has been going to Waterview Animal Hospital for 14 years and we have always been very pleased with the service. Recently Sparkey suffered a hip Injury. The staff at Waterview treated our dog as if he were their own. The care he received was certainly above and beyond, and their expertise certainly eased our minds. I always recommend Waterview Hospital. They are very through and explain all processes needed. I never felt pressured into anything and was always given options with my dog Bentley's eyes. I when i got frustrated with a situation they were happy to go further into explanation.
