"zoo" is not an appropriate description of this place. "Back yard with a few farm animals" is more on par. You shouldn't have to pay to go see these, the place really needs a fixer upper, we drove past and didn't even get out of the car. There was junk all around the yard, stray barn cats, a little pony tied to a fence and a few goats in a fenced area.

My family and I had such a magical visit here. You can cuddle all the animals. The owners are awesome. Lots of shaded space, animals well kept, hand washing stations, public bathroom, feed for animals, brushes and toys for animals, and family friendly!!

Tranquil small farm. Able to hold and pet animals. Great place to relax and chill. Owners are super chill and very friendly. Great spot for all ages to reconnect. And very inexpensive compared to other therapeutic farms.

Such a lovely spot with the most adorable farm animals. Fun fact: at times Charlotte takes the farm to different events. I saw her and her farm friends at the Churchill House in Hantsport for Canada Day celebrations a few years ago, also one year at the Windsor Exhibition and at the GFN family fun days! always a great time whether on location at Dragonfly Haven or at a different venue. Charlotte the owner is so brilliant, sweet and caring! I can't wait to go back and play with the miniature pigs and goats!

A wonderful place to experience the treasure of unconditional love from animals! The owner has the biggest heart I've ever known and you feel this as you visit, interact with and learn about the animals. Such a great spot! The summer student was super helpful. We loved seeing the pigs and donkeys and holding the Guinea pig babies. Highly recommend this spot for a calm adventure!

Dragonfly Haven is an amazing farm where you are able to get in the pens and barns with the animals, feed them, snuggle them and watch them interact with the other animals. The animals are obviously very well loved and cared for and the owner, Charlotte Paul is always on site, friendly, kind and available to answer questions or let you enjoy the animals on your own. There are appointments for social distancing purposes, hand-washing stations and hand sanitizer. I'd encourage you to take a donation to the farm - feed, hay, apples and carrots, old bedding, or increase your entrance fee. The animals seems very keen to get up close and personal with apples and carrots in hand :)

An excellent place for the kids (and "big kids") to visit. Our daughter spent a day at the farm during their March break camp and absolutely loved it! They brought a few animals in to our daughter's Sparks session this evening, and judging from all of the smiling faces, it was a huge hit. We'll be visiting again soon (one of us wants to live there now!).

Dragonfly Therapeutic Farm brought some animals over to The Booker School for our spring fair. We found the organisation friendly, organised and caring. I was always in two minds about having a 'petting-zoo' style structure and they corrected me to name it a Petting Farm. It ended up as a main attraction and helped deliver the message of compassion and connection for the children who attended the fair. Thank you team!

Such fun to be a child again and visit with the animals. I had never met a goat or a pig in person before. Everything was clean and the animals feel content and we cared for. You can enter the pens if you want but we did not. Two full size horses, one small horse with a baby pony, lovely friendly donkeys, a lovely cheeky goat, rabbits to hold, a guinea pig too. Fun to be among the animals. Wish I was as brave as a child. Will go again and try to be braver and enter the pens.

Such a lovely place to visit. We had such a great experience! The owners are very friendly and my daughter was smiling ear to ear the entire time that we were there. It’s rare that you can go to a farm and hold and cuddle the animals. I highly recommend taking your littles to visit, we will definitely go again ????

Awesome place!!! We have been to this farm a few times. We absolutely love it here! Charlotte the owner is so kind and sweet! She takes very good care of her animals. We recently had my sons 3rd Birthday party at the farm everyone had a great time!

We have been twice now, great place to bring your kids (my daughter is just a little over 2). It's a little farm and because of that you can get in all the pens with the animals, feed or brush them. The animals are all very friendly and well tempered. Our first visit we got to play with baby pigs, and our last visit we played with a baby donkey. It's well priced, and usually spend an hour and half going between all the pens. They have mini horses, donkeys, pigs, goats, bunnies, and guinea pigs.

Wonderful theraputic petting farm with a large variety of small farm animals; bunnies, ponies, goats, pigs, and more. The owner is an amazing, kind woman who spends so much time with guests and her animals. She is always upgrading, and offering more services; like summer day camps. Price is very reasonable. I have been visiting this farm with my son for over 2 years, he always loves visiting the farm and holding the bunnies. I would highly recommend families and individuals visit this lovely farm.

I went with a group of my family and it was so, so fun! All the kids loved being able to get up close to the animals. Our guide, I forget her name, was so accommodating and helpful, she even got my kids cups from the main house for them to have some water. She was also very informative and taught us a lot during our visit. The guinea pigs were a huge hit, while I enjoyed the pigs and giving Elmo a belly rub! I definitely recommend the farm to get an up close visit some beautiful animals, and learn a lot from the very friendly and knowledgeable staff!

What a beautiful, hidden little gem in Mt. Denson, NS! My husband and I visited there today for the first time after seeing a post from my cousin who visited earlier in the summer. It's not just a petting zoo as you can interact with all the animals, including holding and brushing the many animals. Holding the piglets was our favorite! A great little place to visit and commune with the animals.

First time visit and I was not prepared for how wonderful it would be. The owner was friendly and welcoming, the staff of kids was so great to see! Close to the city but far enough it's a nice drive. The animals are beautiful and friendly. It really is therapeutic to be able to engage with them on that level. It's clear how much love and care these animals recieve. Both my kids (4, 13) had so much fun. Lots of places to sanitize and clean up. Washroom available on site.
