Be up close with an eagle, owls, hawks - all native all beautiful. James informs you, and is a master as he guides and handles the birds. The birds pose, and fly and swoop overhead, just a few feet away. A photogenic evening landscape of wildflowers and green as the sun lowers. Not a cage to be seen. Wednesdays 6 to 8 pm during the warmer months.

I have visited twice and loved it both times. James and his wife are amazing people doing amazing things with their birds. They always make sure photographers are in the best positions to capture some amazing images. They always introduce the birds, give a little history of them and then it's time for flight. I highly recommend Canadian Raptor Conservancy!! ps...I have already booked my third time!!

The outdoor Raptors in Flight photography sessions are excellent. Not held every month however. Dates published on their facebook page. Under $100 for three hours including birds in flight and posed in nice backgrounds. A 70-200mm lens is ok but 70-300mm would be better, unless you shoot only the posed birds.

I was able to spend lots of time practicing different photography techniques and really appreciate the birds. I think Sam the Eagle was the highlight of the whole thing, that guy has some fun attitude.

I had a fantastic experience with my boyfriend at the CRC this weekend, even though we were soaked from on and off drizzle that afternoon. James and Shauna were very friendly, knowledgeable hosts for our birds in flight photography session. My favourite bird friends from today's session were Doctor Spec the Spectacled Owl and Sam the Bald Eagle. 10/10 would recommend for any animal lover or photographer to book a visit! Oh, this is one of my favourite places to visit. Get a group together, and enjoy a few hours of taking photos of different raptors and such. I’ve been there is the fall and the winter and both time were amazingly enjoyable. You can get up close and personal with raptors such as Sam the Eagle and others. Photographers dream!

This place is out of the way near Port Dover. It raises and trains birds of prey for roles in Movies, education, and photography. They have all types of raptors found in North America. They raise and train the birds from hatchlings, and the birds are not released into the wild. They have photography sessions weekly, for amazing shots! They will also re-habilitate injured birds, which will be released back into the wild.

I had the greatest experience at CRC on Fri, Oct 23, 2020!! Just the drive there is beautiful through the Ont. countryside. To start the payment process is super easy .. bathroom facilities on site. Then the session is explained in detail and how we will all proceed. Then the magic begins with one raptor after another introduced to us, with James explaining anything and everything you want to know. They do tremendous work here taking care of these beautiful creatures, rehabilitation, breeding and educating the public. They truly are great ambassadors for these raptors. I can't recommend it highly enough!!
