Swimming in the river and friendly staff. 4 stars for the sanitary block and since the heated swimming pool is only open between 11 am and 5 pm (difficult to use it when we are only there for one night). Very nice campground. There is a river running right behind the campsites that is picturesque. The washrooms and recreation hall are clean and functional. The proprietor graciously helped me retrieve a tire I had sent there to replace one that had torn on the bike tour I was on. I highly recommend!

The neighborhood is lovely, the people are welcoming and everything is going wonderfully. We make our first night out of four. The next evening, a thunderstorm arrives, accompanied by strong winds and an incredible amount of water. We hurry to collect everything in order to be as dry as possible to be able to continue our vacation. There are still three nights ... During a lull, my partner decides to go and see if we had any damage. Since our land was long and bordered the road, the water from the road flowed into our tent. Our equipment, our clothes, our bed floated in 2 inches of water. In addition, a pole of our almost new tent (5 uses) broke. With only the post broken, we would have gladly continued our stay. But with the water, we couldn't stay. My partner then went to see the owner to explain everything to her and ask her for a possible refund of the 2 nights that we could not do. We were totally refused. We understand that Mother Nature played a bad trick on us, that the campsite is not responsible but the partial reimbursement, even for one night, would have seemed a natural and empathetic gesture to us. (Original) Après un début merveilleux de nos vacances sur le terrain de camping choisi, nous avons eu un terrain magnifique avec la vue sur la rivière et ses chutes d'eau. Le voisinage est charmant, les gens sont accueillants et tout se déroule à merveille. Nous faisons notre première nuit sur quatre. Le lendemain soir, arrive un orage, accompagné de vents violents et d'une quantité incroyable d'eau. On se dépêche à tout ramasser afin d'être le plus au sec possible pour pouvoir continuer nos vacances. Il reste tout de même trois nuits... Lors d'une accalmie, mon conjoint décide d'aller voir si nous avions des dégâts. Puisque notre terrain était en longueur et bordait la route, l'eau de celle-ci a coulée dans notre tente. Notre matériel, nos vêtements, notre lit flottaient dans 2 pouces d'eau. De plus, un poteau de notre tente quasiment neuve (5 utilisations) s'est cassé. Avec seulement le poteau cassé, nous aurions volontiers poursuivi notre séjour. Mais avec l'eau, nous ne pouvions rester. Mon conjoint est alors allé voir la propriétaire pour lui expliquer le tout et lui demander un possible remboursement des 2 nuits que nous ne pourrions pas faire. Nous avons essuyé un refus total. Nous comprenons que Dame Nature nous a joué un mauvais tour, que le camping n'est pas responsable mais le remboursement partiel, même d'une nuit, nous aurait paru un geste naturel et empathique.

Propre , bien entretenu et surtout des gens très très sympathiques et accueillants. Et que dire le côté pittoresque de ce camping où il est possible de se baigner dans la rivière. La meilleure des chances à cette famille beauceronne.

Drive slowly here! One of the best maintained campground I've seen, especially for this size. It's a small, family owned and operated camping. Public commodities look clean and smell clean! They have a water treatment system providing drinking water. The site itself is great for the family. The pool is on the small side (supposedly fits 50,id say that's a bit optimistic) but there is also a pond with a nice stream. Water is colder of course, but the kids had a blast throwing rocks and building a water treatment dam! Highly recommended if you're around. There is a blueberry field near where we saw the biggest specimens ever. Tasty!

Wonderful place. Used the wilderness site (F) for a tent right by the river. Nothing like taking your chair on a hot summer day and placing both chair and your feet in the cool flowing water. It has a pool also. Shower was great and clean. Unexpected bonus of free shower no cost/quarters. By the way got to see the garden L'héritage you will pleasantly suprised and cost is by donation.
