Very well equipped and staffed. Only con is that our dog urinated indoors and one of the employees gave us the cold shoulder over it when we warned him. While it's on our behalf to supervise our pet, the reaction is still deceiving considering this is part of things that happen in a pet shop.

The staff is a gamble on quality, sometimes you get the knowledgeable helpful ones, and other times you get someone who only answers 'IDK' or 'I'm not sure'. The prices are average in my opinion. A good variation of pet selection.

Small but cozy. Had most supplies I needed. Edit because I can't reply to a reply for some reason. I didn't find metal bowls for large parrots that can attach to parrot stands rather than cages and also some specific synking pellets for carnivorous fish (don't have the name handy unfortunatelly). I'm pretty sure you'd order those for me if I've asked, but I was just passing by :) PS: staff is super friendly.

The Scenic Route

This is actually the best pet store I've been to in my lifetime. To start, the selection of pets is massive. There are tons of reptiles, birds, fish, rodents, cats etc. The animals spaces were all clean and cared for. What made this place so special were the employees. They were all amazing and full of information. They were all so helpful and so great with the animals. I hate the thought of pet stores but it's comforting when there are people who actually care about them working there. 1000000% recommend this location for anyone looking for a new companion. The employees will spend as much time with you as you need to understand which pet is best suited for you.

Awful staff for the aquariums, they don't know anything at all. Selling people plants that shouldn't be put in a tank. telling people it's a type of fish, when it's not. recommending aggressive fish with others that shouldn't be housed together. I don't know for the other departments

Only reason for the lower rating is, even as adult in my 30s, I have been asked to leave my bag at the cash while other patrons were not asked to do so. Just recently I walked in and was immediately asked by a security guard why I was there and what I was specifically shopping for. After telling him what I wanted he pointed me to the area, and after browsing for a few minutes he started asking me what brand I was looking for and what I actually wanted. I decided to leave, felt unwanted in the store...

This place is great! They used to have a second floor with amazing aquariums and I loved just going there to look around. They have since condensed everything on one floor but it doesn't take away from the very good selection of products. The employees are very nice and friendly too! The only down side is I feel like the food selection for cats (especially canned food or raw) could be a bit more extensive but I'm sure that after talking with some of the staff they would accommodate your needs.

I've purchased a few birds at this pet store... 2 finch, one love bird and a dove. After the purchase of my finch the female was acting weird so i brought her to the store they kept her over night as observation and i took her back the next day. A few days later found it dead atthe bottom of the cage. They were decent enough to have replaced it(value ~20$). I pur purchased the love bird a while after and in less of a year came come and found it laying on the bottom of the cage on its belly. I called the pet store and manager never called me back! (Value ~250$ +tx). I had also special ordered a male dove for the bird i already owned given by a friend. When i finally reveived the dove the two would always fight. Which i later found out the pet shop had sold me an other female which i had no choice to purchase an other large cage so that they would not hurt each other! (Value ~30$ + a large cage ~100$+). I had seen news reports of nature pet stores supplies of pets being from harsh animal mills... now i believe it!!! Do not encourage them, its cruel and their animals are sick. Ive had some of my pets for more then 9 years! 2 out of 4 birds died inside of a year not normal! They sell sick animal's and by the posts i see im.not the only one !

It had a pretty amazing selection of foods for all kinds of animals. Even an expensive cat food that my sister uses for her hedgehog. It also had alligator gar fish at okeechobee point but I think they may have been removed or I just couldn't see them there last time.

Its an okay store. The staff is pretty nice to the customer.Never got a fish with a disease from there(fingers crossed) but Feeder fish are full of diseases(DO NOT BUY THEM) .The advice that they give u wont be the best so do ur research before going there.Lots of mislabeled fish.Good variety of fish and supplies. Some of the fishes that are being sold look ill and the bird tank seems to look overcrowded. =/ Update 2019 Lots of changes since my last review. I haven't purchased any pets so can't review on that. Products are a bit on the pricier end but in general it's okay. Only thing at the moment I'm miffed about is the no refund. Instead of cash back you get a gift card instead. =<

Great place to find pet supplies. I go there for my fish and turtle supplies. I can usually find what I need including live crickets and worms for my box turtle. Good reptile section. Staff knowledge is hit and miss so if you get an answer that doesn't sound right, discretely try to find another staff member.

My husband and I bought an aquarium from the shop last week. We are first time buyers and the staff on THAT day helped us in a good way. But later we found tiny cracks from inside at several places and found tiny droplets also. So we took back the aquarium to the shop today and said the whole story. A lady who I think is the one in charge of the fishes came and checked. We haven’t seen her in the shop before. She said they weren’t cracks and just silicon, but we still think it’s cracks. She was so rude to us and shouted at us also, as if we lied. As I said before we were first time buyers and were worried. She never cared to listen to us. She said we cannot have a whole new set and will have to adjust with the one remaining set in the shop in a rude way. I don’t understand the logic in that. Why should we have to adjust? We paid the whole amount and the staff is asking us to adjust with what they give us in an impolite way. She then replaced the aquarium tank only, without the lid and equipments.

If you're in the area and want to go to a pet store, opt for Nature over Safari in the mall. Overall better prices, better staff that are willing to give advice and answer questions, and a non bogus return policy. Decent all around pet store.

I mentioned I had rats, and the guy lectured me on animals only eat to survive they do not have favorite foods and the like. I ordered two new baby pet mice. When they arrived the store treated them for mites/worms without my permission. The mice were only 4 weeks old, and were ordered specifically for me. Mice can’t be treated with mites/worms medication until 12 weeks of age. When I got the mice home they started having seizures and walking in circles in reaction to the medication. After syringe feeding them and giving them a bath to get the meds off, they finally recovered after 48 hours. I’m lucky they’re still alive. After calling the store and speaking with them, they said it was store policy to treat all incoming animals, even if they are being kept in a seperate room away form all the other animals waiting to be picked up for just 2 hours. Obviously this policy needs to be changed.

In my 6 decades of life I have never experienced such abuse..so I left other things and left. The store has a great layout and inventory. Like any commercial place the motto is business and no customer empathy. Staff is basically not trained but they come with their experience of having pets. Like if I have owned aquarium for a few years and can rattle some basic knowledge I am hired. They will sell you what they have even when it's not the best option. Gave me wrong stuff for my fish and my entire stock was dead when it was just one constipated fish. They never return customer calls. Just got off the phone with an employee and she was literally loud in my ears ..not screaming just loud and rude to hang up without any phone etiquettes. Fish in their tanks ..if you take the time to look at least one dead in each tank. When a fish lives in an unhealthy tank..do you expect it to survive in a customers clean water ? They want you to bring your water where parameters are perfect to their parameters which are bizzare ... It's better to go to private breeders. Im my opinion I would never buy a pet there simply because the life is never guaranteed to be healthy. Poor customer service and poor quality of live stock... Supplies are over priced and lots of independant stores have the same brands for less..

Solid experience for adopting kitten. - Price is only slightly higher than adopting cats with emotional problems at local refugee, and comes with perks. - Quality and reasonably priced high-grade, no-grain, 3-4 meats in first 5 ingredients cat food (Nutrience) - Price includes free check-up with vet, all shots (refugee cats missing one). Vet reassured on new cat not eating/drinking for 48 hours and even followed up 3 days later. - As previous cat owner, all questions answered.

Went in to buy fish and fish accessories. They had a good selection, just not as many as they had before downsizing 3 years ago. They didn't seem to have enough staff for the volume of customers they had as well, so service was brief and clumsy. I knew my tank size in Liters, but the staff only knew how to give advice based on gallons. Fish are happy and healthy though.

We bought a cat from them last year, when we brought him to first vet visit he was full of ear infections and treated for worms.. He stopped playing and eating by December( he was bought in the summer), I took him to vet in December and learned that he had kidney failure, that he had cancer and he had to be put to sleep. We lost him just over a year old. I will never by a cat from them again. Please use extreme caution when buying a cat from any pet store, I have had both good and bad experiences.

If you're looking for fish, the selection is good at times but it's so sad to see so many dead fish in so many of their tanks even their plant tank looks filthy. The prices are also quite high. The young guy that's "in charge" of the fish department is rude, arrogant and absolutely does not give correct information. Cat food and treats are also more expensive then Mondou.
