We are so lucky to have a wonderful zoo. It is always a great place to visit. So many new experiences await you at the zoo. The zoo is doing some new exhibits that are going to be a great addition to already great zoo!

Nice zoo! The Kopje lounge area was beautiful and a nice place to eat/drink and watch the African animals. I was unable to find any type of water station to refill my water bottle and it was very hot. There was also a large portion of the zoo under construction.

There isn't a whole lot to do in Fresno if you have family with kids. The Zoo makes a good place to visit and the animal collection is Good . There are activities available for an extra cost. If you pay in advance it becomes a good value.

Would like if they had extended hours. Not enough time to enjoy all the animals. First aid personal were atentative to my injury and my sons heat exhaustion as well as very friendly. We will be returning again as quickly as my ankle has healed completely.

Beautiful zoo, the African Savannah area is incredible. I've never seen anything like it. Wonderful place for people of all ages. Family membership is very reasonable and a must for locals. Bring extra clothes for your kiddos and let them enjoy the splash pad! We'll be back. ????

I just love the Fresno Chaffee Zoo. I have been going since I was a little girl. I really enjoy all the new attractions they are have installed. I plan on going this year. We just went to the zoo this week. It was wonderful and we enjoyed ourselves and we were able to stroll at our leisure and there was plenty of shade to enjoy all that is offered. Can’t wait to visit the Kingdom of Asia when it’s open.

Loved the animal habitat. The animals looked well taken care of. They had variety of animals and they are renovating to add Asian jungle section which I am looking forward to. The dinosaur ???? section is fun as they look life like with sound and movements. I would recommend visiting this zoo and enjoying your day with family.

Great Zoo location/experience without having to travel to a large city to get it. They are constantly upgrading and expanding so the place never gets old. Their twice a year Beer Events are incredible too!

Coming from a person that has a annual pass with San Diego ZOO, this place is worth visiting for a few hours. The animals look healthy and content given their location. Many of these animals have large roaming areas to graze or even run around. I'd say the rhinos are the main attraction of this zoo.

Best zoo I’ve been to! Really clean, the animals are very well taken care of, and the staff is very knowledgeable. On top of all that the prices are very reasonable from the admission to the food and even the souvenirs were affordable. The food was very good for a zoo and even though there is a lot of construction I can’t wait to see all the new exhibits they are making and it does not take away from the experience.

Grab your Camera it's A great day at the zoo. All of the great animals a zoo should have but not the crazy crowds of the big city zoos. Feeding the giraffes are a quick fun thing all age kids and kid like adults can do. Make sure to see the bird show. You will be amazed how close they fly over the heads of the audience. Be sure to take the little ones to see the dinosaurs. Who doesn't wonder what it was like when these animals roamed the earth. Bring a picnic or eat just a few feet away from what looks like African tundra. Too many other areas to mention so get a pass and go as often as you like. You will see something new every time. Pro tip get the parking pass and use it here and at its fullest at the Shinzen Friendship Garden over and over again.

I love this place. It's the best zoo I've been to. The workers/handlers are always super friendly and very knowledgeable. They are under construction right now (Jan 6, 2022) but is still worth the visit always! Africa is beautiful. I can't wait for Asia!

While it looks to be a good zoo. Most of the attractions where closed and there was major renovations going on at the time we went. This was no fault of the zoo but we where unable to experience the full attraction. Watching the seals and sea lions was enjoyable, and the class was fun to listen too. And I would definitely splurge for feeding the giraffes. The petting of the rays was fun but the pool is a bit deep and I would definitely keep in mind it's for a little older kids. If your kid is not more then 4 feet in height I would steer away from this. Other wise this was a enjoyable experience and I would recommend the Fresno Zoo to any one who enjoys zoos.

Absolutely AMAZING!! If you are looking for a super cool and affordable place to take the family this zoo is for you! We fed giraffes and stingrays, got fave to face with a kangaroo, and even cooled off at their mini water park! HIGHLY RECOMMEND! My son can’t stop talking about it and it’s been weeks since we went.

I remember coming here as a kid it was a blast something to do always had fun now I'm taking my two wonderful girls here all the time we have a membership so always free entry and expedited as well plus discounts and they've only expanded since then more animals it's wonderful

We love this zoo! The exhibits/enclosures have been updated and are well kept. The food in the African exhibit are really good - we love to go there sometimes, just for lunch. Masks were only required inside the Reptile House - December 2021. My family is excited for the new Asian exhibit opening. It looks amazing!

Great place for what it was!! Nice exhibits, various attractions (stingray bay, petting zoo, feed giraffes, etc) and food prices were reasonable at the cafe. First time taking the kids; had a season pass for kids and I. A lot bigger than what it looks like on the outside. We all enjoyed our time. We have yet to feed the giraffes and finish the African Adventure (which was pretty impressive). Will definitely be back!!
