You will be able to see the opinions of people like you who buy the products and services of Waterton Lakes National Park of Canada (Zoo) in Kimberley (Canada).
At the moment the firm has a score of 4.8 over 5 and this rating was based on 127 reviews.
You may have noticed that it has an average rating is practically the top, and it is based on a very large number of reviews, so we can be pretty sure that the score is very accurate. If many people have bothered to leave their score when they are happy with the service, it works.
As you know, we do not usually stop to set tatings when these are correct and we usually do it only if we've had a problem or incidence...
This Zoo belongs to the category of National park.
First time in Waterton, did some hiking and photography. Rowe lakes was amazing.
What a fantastically beautiful area this is! Waterton Lakes National Park is where The prairies of Alberta meet the peaks of the Canadian Rocky Mountains.
This place is our go to when summer time . The water so clear, so beautiful and breath taking ???? ???? ????. From play with water , hike , shopping , so beautiful here
Great park!! NO bathrooms on the way to Cameron Lake is ridiculous considering the amount of trail heads. And no parking available to even use the bathrooms at Cameron Lake. I was expecting more since the road had been closed for years for restructuring.
It was very fun it was very pricey though but it was kinda worth it totally recommend
Great place to visit and lots of activities to do. Come with a couple of days. Has hiking trails for all levels of fitness
Beautiful and stunning national park. I could go hundreds of times and still not get sick of it. Their ice cream shop was amazing. The boats were even better. I recommend if you got some spare money you should go on the boats. Just incredible pictures.
Beautiful mountains, lakes, waterfalls and great hiking trails. Less commercialized than Banff and Jasper. There are camp ground sights for tents or RV near the Waterton Lake and Lodges that blends into the mountain view.
Very Beautiful place/camping site to visit or stay. Will definitely go back next year. Even though it was a bit hazy caused by BC wildfire, we still get awesome view and experience.
Nice National Park. Very popular, thus typically pretty busy. I would avoid high season or long weekends. Town is very compact (small) which makes it easy to get around by foot. Some of the hikes are accessible from the town/campground, others require a short trip by car. You need to be aware that the park was ravished by a wild fire years ago.
Planet earth has many beautiful places. This just happens to be one of my all time favourites. Whether it is summer and green grass or the isolated bitterness of Mother Nature’s winter, you cannot come here and leave without being changed …
Hands down, one of my favourite provincial parks! A must if you are in the area, even if you are not, worth taking a trip!
An absolute gorgeous piece of country. Lovely little town that was laid back and friendly. Wild life sitings were numerous. The only downside was that smoke from the forest fires in British Columbia made for poor visibility and air quality. Not the parks fault though. Would highly recommend a visit!
We have been coming to Waterton Lakes National Park for years (every year since 1968, yes, that is a long time). We have hiked every trail, enjoyed camping, fishing, hiking and the amenities in the townsite. Lots of changes over time, but what has not changed is the renewal of energy even a day trip can provide.
A national treasure. Wonderful campgrounds, hikes, shops and ice cream make for a wonderful trip to the Rockies. In our most recent visit we stayed at the town campsite, which has wonderful facilities including free showers. We hiked red rock and enjoyed the journey up the river bed. Wildlife was everywhere including black bears, big horn sheep, a beautiful momma moose and her calf and the bison.
The town and Prince of Wales hotel are awesome as well as the views. But don't forget the amazing side trips to Cameron lake and also red rocks canyon. Both are well marked within the park boundaries and well worth the 15 minute drive for each one.
First time visiting but had a blast and will be back!
Love it, I have video but it won't let me upload it.
It’s an amazing place to camp. The village gives you some choices of food and drinks. There are a lot of activities to do around the national park ..Hiking to the USA borders will take 5 hours to enjoy the best trail ever .You will enjoy watching a lot of bears everywhere. The stuff in the camping sites were more then amazing .
Amazing place to go, very beautiful nature and the views are out of this world. The water falls are amazing and so peaceful, walking and biking trails and kept clean and are always an adventure. A great place for family and friends and would definitely recommend!!
Very nice place for sitting and having rrlax time with family
One of the most beautiful places I've ever been!
What a beautiful place.. So many nice pictures.. Trails, the red rock canyon, Cameron lake, the sweet little town, all the deer.
Beautiful National Park with lots of lakes, canyons and waterfalls to discover. We took in Waterton Lake, Cameron Lake and Red Rock Canyon. Lots of easy kid friendly hikes.
Amazing park, magical lakes and mountains, water cold but so cleansing and fresh, I loved to swim in all lakes, great trip to red rock canyon 8 km away from city and saw a bear and a fox on the way, also thousands of marmots! You will fall in love with this garden like city, reminded me trips to Crimea and Carpathian mountains back home in Ukraine! Very nice place for camping!
Great place to take the kids for an easy outdoor experience or a night out with your significant other or just on your own. Also awesome for more hard core outdoor enthusiasts. Has some good day shopping and lot of gift stores. Please consider getting a Parks Canada Discovery Pass, you will have access to all national parks and heritage sites across Alberta for the year and you will be supporting the preservation of our wilderness and wildlife. Also has excellent cell service!
Beautiful place!! Lots of hiking, canoeing, paddle boarding, and gorgeous scenery.
We loved our stay in Waterton Lakes National Park! The camping is amazing, the town is small and not too crowded. The trails are incredible, the park is lovely and there are plenty of things to do there! Loved the trail along the water around the town, perfect for a walk or leisurely stroll. Wish we could have spent more time there enjoying the mountains and beautiful views.
Very scenic place with pristine waters, blue mountains, waterfall, boating and a historical beautiful hotel. 1 hour boating which crosses Canada American border and reaches with in touching distance of a billion year old v shape rock formations. It is located 1.5 hours drive from Lethbridge. Lake area is equipped with clean public washrooms and provisions for BBQ as well.
One of the best getaway from the city.. no traffic, less people more peace. Best tour would be to camp there inside the town for a night at least and hike the lake just outside town.
Came here to get away from the bustle and hustle of life. Had a fantastic time Kayaking far out where there is almost zero people. Will go back again soon!
This is my favourite provincial park. I had such a great time.
My family and I have been coming to Waterton for a long time! My great Aunt has owned her cabin for 53 years!!! Although the park has changed tremendously in the last couple years it still holds a special place in my heart ❤
Amazing to hear the elk bugel. Saw so many. Not realty anything open anymore the odd place but it was a Sunday as well
Another amazing and very picturesque part of Alberta. Lots to do around here so you'll definitely need a few days to fit it all in. From kayaking/canoeing to finding your own trail in the Alberta wilderness. From interesting geological history to diverse wildlife. The boat ride into Montana is highly recommended. The family absolutely loved everyday we spent here and will visit again soon.
Very nice park! One of the most underrated places. You have to visit this place to experience what it has to offer. Not commercialized, local shops and restaurants, no food chains, hotel chains. Very friendly atmosphere. If you want to truly relax and enjoy the nature, this is the place to be. I would recommend minimum of two nights inside the park. There is a very nice campground as well right next to the lake. Cameron falls are walking distance from the campground and the main town.
My favorite place in Alberta right now. Lots of amazing views. Red rocks, Cameron Falls and more must be points.
Town is basically closed for the season. You can still enter and walk about but don't expect to get a coffee or lunch etc.
Worth the drive! Very beautiful views!
Excellent hiking, quiet backcountry campsites, scenic COLD lakes for awesome refreshing swims! In town camping including walk- in tenting. Good eating spots in town. Plus grocery store (bit expensive, but hey...)
Cant get better post card pic than this place. When not windy, stunning. When windy, need to batten down! The fire had an effect, but now is a new beautiful, scarred mountains and trail hikes with exposed rock lets you see the otherwise hidden topography. Really is a new beautiful. Like seeing into the mountain landscape if that makes sense. Something that was hidden, now exposed to see. Cool place sprouting with new life. A national park rebuilding , making lemon into lemonade. We loved it!
Love love going to Waterton. If you haven't been you need to go. Beautiful scenery and just a great trip everytime.
Great place to go hiking.
Incredible experience, especially in the off season, the place felt so empty and private and the leaves changing colour made it even more beautiful. Great variety of hikes and the place literally looks picture perfect all day. Everyone we encountered, whether employees of Parks Canada or in the businesses in town were super friendly. One tip would be to 100% bring a windbreaker to wear over your warmer layers because the wind is insane.
A little windy on most days, but otherwise fantastic -- lots of very manageable hikes close to the townsite
Beautiful National Park in Alberta. Always enjoy visiting Waterton Lakes when I get the chance. Went a few weeks ago and did 2 hikes, Lower Bertha Falls and Blakiston Falls. Both were very picturesque and enjoyable.
This place is absolutely beautiful. We will definitely be back!
Waterton Is a must see???? Fresh Air, Clean Playground Great Hiking Trails???? Perfect for family outings????
Fell in love with this place at first site!! You need to buy an entry ticket. We went only for a day so it was $20 only. Price depends on how many nights you plan to stay and how many adults/ youth/ kids are planning to stay in the group/ family. As we enterd the place first thing I notices was the Hotel of Prince of Wales. Then, about one KM ahead is the small town ,where yiu can get a place to lodge. There is a big parking place. You can get a ferry here, which takes you for one and half hour excursion to US( Montana). My sons and husbands swam in the lake as weather was good and water temperature was Ok.
As it was our first time there, we really enjoyed beauty's nature. The mountains were so close compared to Jasper and Banff. Hiking trails were close. As we went with toddlers, there is a lot to do for a couple of days with them. You could …
