Here you will see the opinions of real people who know the products of Tourism Jasper (Zoo) in Jasper (Canada).
At present this firm receives a rating of 4.6 out of 5 and that rating has been calculated on 127 reviews.
You may have noticed that its rating is virtually the top, and it is based on a high number of feddbacks, so we can say that the assessment is quite credible. If there are many people who bothered to leave their score when they've done well, it works.
You know that we don't usually stop to set opinions when these are correct and we usually do it only if we have had a problem or incidence...
This Zoo is included in the category of Visitor center.
We drove to Jasper to have a picnic in the park because it was so beautiful lol +3 ... best random idea ever :)
It looks very pretty outside
Working in the background trying to entice visitors to this wonderful town of Jasper, never too sure where they are focusing their efforts. Sure like Jasper the Bear getting around to promote events. Here is a photo attached at Marmot Basin Ski Hill.
It pales in comparison to Banff. However, it is one of places you must stop if you are out in the area. Banff, up hwy 93 to Jasper or the other way around.
Scenic. Must visit in lifetime
Old guy was just tired of his job. Looks like some body dragged him to this and without paying any $s
Jasper is amazing, beautiful, wonderful for too many reasons to list. One of our favorite family getaways. So many things to do and places to visit. Thank you to all the people and shops and places for making our trips amazing everytime.
We arrived the night before and the Visitors Centre was closed. It's important you purchase a park visitors permit required for the number of days you visit which we did first thing the next morning. The staff were very friendly and helpful insofar as offering 'must see' locations.
Wonderful and knowledgeable staff! Thanks for the excellent info Fawn!
Very friendly Very helpful Love it
Very informative staff, great souvenirs. :)
Baught National Park passes here, they gave us lots of information. Recommended.
Jasper was amazing, I regret not staying the night here. Definitely a fun low key spot especially at night on the weekends as well.
Must visit Alberta especially Banff and Jasper. Take a drive from Banff to Jasper Will feel and love the nature....
Very knowledgeable and friendly staff as well as helpful and provided lots of information
No one wearing face masks we didn't enter.
Got some terrific direction and suggestions from the staff here. Really helped us make the most of the three days we had to enjoy this spectacular town! This could be the most hiker friendly place in the Rockies!
Amazing place to have lunch.
All the info you need, delightfully chatty and helpful.
Love this place. Must visit and you feel close to nature. It mesmerized with eternal nature. Wild and serene.
A great rest stop on the motorcycle
Very friendly staff, really doing what visitors expect from them. Guidance according to your requirements (i.e. how much time you have and what do you want to do as far as the activities are concerned) and this place offers free WiFi, neat and clean restrooms, and free parking. A very first and a must visit place if you are visiting Jasper Park.
Jasper holds a near and dear place to our entire family. Camping is usually a yearly family trip to Whistler. My parents will pack up for a weekend and just camp there too on their own. We all have so many memories as kids and now making memories with my husband and son is always wonderful. So much to see and do!
$20 for the day with the family, $140 ayp for the family. Pet friendly at most location's! Bring a cooler and enjoy a day trip. Set aside 4 to 6 hours to enjoy up to 3 different location's from sightseeing and hiking or water rafting!
Beautiful scenery. Pyramid lake 10 mins away from Jasper. Nice beaches, scenery.
Jasper by the busy train tracks. Loved the long freight trains that rumbled by and stopped at the junction and curve out of Jasper.
I wanted everything in there lol including the t-shirts, of which there was a really high quality selection. Super friendly staff, told me if I saw anything I wanted after I returned home just up call them up and they would mail it. Lovely old period building. Super cute little birds nesting in the porch eaves, just chirping up a storm. Centrally located.
Beautiful place, very peaceful and the most breath taking views! I recommend heading to Fifth trail and walking these trails all around by Maligne Lake. Such beautiful surroundings and medium hiking level.
The tourist information in Jasper is helpful and all the things you will need to know about the area. They have maps and information about all the activities you can do and find places to go. The people are very helpful. the restrooms are across the highway to use and are free but are very busy. there's plenty of area around the outside of the building to enjoy picnics and just sitting out and enjoy the sun. stop by in the help you find the things that are going on locally today and maybe in the next few days.
Excellent stop if you're new to Jasper and would like some free maps and brochures, or if you'd like to find a high quality souvenir or gift.
Absolutely stunning location. I can't rate Jasper high enough.
Very informative, friendly and also can buy your park pass for the day.
Sooooo....amazing ....except for the fact the snow canceled the fishing experience.
It's a warm place, lot's of people from different parts of the world.
Very easy access and fairly accommodating staff. Be sure to ask a few people/locals about trails and such though, as a trail was recommended for us, and I only learned afterwards from the gift shop attendant that it was known to overrun with insects at this time of year.
Must go if you are in Calgary or Edmonton, around 4 hours drive from both point, however it take 6 hours to get there because you can not avoid the breath taking sceneries down the road and you definitely park the car on the designated areas to take pics. There are plenty of places for safe stopovers.
Helpful tips! Although I have visited Jasper several times, I always benefit from their knowledge of area.
Jasper is the Gemstone of the Natinal Park. Busy town but in the rare los seasin is so lovely to enjoy it
This is the information center not tourism center. The good map is wrong. Very knowledgeable staff.
How can you not love Jasper? Staff very helpful and lots of information. The Canadian Rockies are awe inspiring
Fantastic place , heaven for tourists. Beautiful nature and wildlife.
Visited Loulous for some lunch and it was awesome! Highly recommended if you're stopping in town
Beautiful city. As we entered the city we're happened on a heard of elk. We also found a few, must sees, from the map provided.
Close as you can get without guided tour.
Jasper is the gate to the Canadian Rockies. It offers many stores and hotels
Good staff, went there on a special free coopan from my hotel party but they charge me money to stay which they said they would refund because its a free stay. They never did.Dishonest billing but nice hotel.
Brilliant, very friendly staff, all the info you could need. Also had tonnes of leaflets and brochures on nearby activities, as well as weather and wildlife reports. If you're looking for guidance or inspiration on what to do, definitely pay a visit.
Had a quick visit to pick up some information while visiting. The staff were friendly and helpful. They also have free wi-fi so I was able to look up directions on my phone. The lawn out front is nice to relax on and have a picnic.
This tourist stop is so busy it is unlike any other I've been to in Canada. It is shoulder to shoulder in the summer. The staff were very helpful and friendly though, however long their day had been.
Staff is nice and helpful, knowledgeable of park attractions and wildlife, and happy to help. Great selection of flyers and folders on things to do. They are supposed to have free WiFi but we could never connected due a high amount of simultaneous users.
Not a lot there however the girls were very informative and had a lot of recommendations as to where to visit and what to bring while we did. Any questions they did not have the answers to they were able to point us in the right direction to find them. Worth the stop if you are looking for new places to visit or new ideas on how to spend your time in Jasper.
Jasper, an alpine town in Canada’s Alberta province, is the commercial centre of Jasper National Park. Jasper are full of stunning natural scenery, beautiful lakes and kilometers of defined hiking and walking trails. One place might have more or less to offer a visitor depending on their taste, but they are both worth visiting. Generally 3 days to 4 days in Jasper National Park is a good start to see all the famous sights and experience the best hikes in the Canadian Rockies. We reserved a place for camp at Pocahontas campground. It is located on Highway 16, approximately 38 km northeast of Jasper, at the junction that provides access to Jasper National Park's Miette Hot Springs.
Great beautiful small town of Jasper, Alberta in the heart of Canadian Rockies.
The staff was very helpful suggesting the best places to visit during a very short stay.
It is great place to visit with family and friends
One of the best experiences in my life! Every single person must try this!
A small town but with many lovely shops and restaurants of good eat.
Very professional local. Nice coffee and tea . Strict internet use, enforced 30 minute limit. Also watch your food,as they will clean it up when u aren't watching. Good muffins. Kingston tourist .
Can't believe parking on street is free for 2 hours here. Clean air, clean washroom, clean water, all free here. Love the mountains, love the lakes and rivers, love the animals (bears, mooses and cows roaming alone side of roads), just love it.
Lots beautiful place to visit. Very informative
Great to find what you're looking for and know there is a donation to maintaining the Park trails factored into every purchase.
Jasper has become very much like Banff. It's all about money it's way too commercialized. It's not near the beautiful place that it used to be
Great place, really useful information. Told me what roads were suitable for my car.
Great park to visit
Jasper is a beautiful place to visit. You must stay at least couple days to enjoy many of the attractions. However, I feel that many of the business owners dislike tourists (which is weird as they make a living from tourism). Many don't want to help when you ask them for directions and just plain snobbish. One shop keep flat out told us she doesn't speak English and continued to talk on the phone in English to someone.
One of our beautiful mountain parks
I worked in JNP as a seasonal warden in the late 70's. It was nice to see many of the old stores and restaurants were still operating. It's like coming home.
Jasper is become our most favorite vacation ever???? It's beautiful, serene, mystic and all the wonderful at the same time???? You have to experience it to feel it☺️ please visit Jasper to have a life time experience????
I want to live in this place. Beautiful and breathe taking scenery.
Absolutely beautiful place couldn't ask for any better! Such a nice low key town to visit not crowded by big brand name places just locally owned stores with their own unique tastes.
Charming and cute little town you don't want to miss adding to your life story. Great for winding down and relaxing after the long drive. Spent a whole day just hanging out at the big central park with the family eating ice cream and taking a nap.
I love Jasper. It is my Happy Place.
Tourism Jasper office is located right opposite the Jasper Rail Station. We did the trip to Jasper by VIA Rail from Vancouver in July 2019. After arriving in Jasper and depositing our luggage in our hotel we first came here to get all the information of places to visit, best restaurants and shopping areas. The staff are very courteous and helpful.
We really enjoyed our visit and the services, shops and restaurants. The food tour we took was amazing
Great place, great walks and the beer was fantastic.
Excellent information on hiking and inexpensive hostel accomodstion for Miette area and Jasper ????
The staff were helpful (visited twice). I did find that their information was more geared to summer. The winter and fringe season activities are not well documented or versed.
I Took the train ???? across Canada Jasper was one of the places we stopped there's is one of highest mountain there in Jasper
The visit of many was very good. The town is very clean...love the flowers...
Stunning area. Jasper National Park was more than I expected.
Jasper the hidden gem as Banff gets all the publicity. If you're willing to travel you're likely to see many elk and Moose. I thought it one of the many highlights of my week long vacation.
Though Jasper is small town, but needs to stay there for more days.
Jasper is a very quiet and chill place. Not busy like Banff at all.
Beautiful looking tour information centre. Everyone here is kind, they inform you well. The only downside is that the public washroom is actually across the street from this building.
Beautiful. We purchased tickets for the adventure and missed the bus by 5 minutes. They said they could slot us in for 2 days later but we'll be back home then so that didn't work. We took the skywalk which is one activity of the two in the adventure. We left with 1/2 hour cushion time but there was road work being done. By the looks of it we were far from the only ones who were late, but policy is no refunds so suggest leaving an hour cushion or just driving yourself across the road to the toe and hiking up a little ways for the same awesome views with no extra cost. We would have done this if we had known before.
Unique and iconic building just across from the train station.
Great place great staff and great food. Highly recommended
Jasper is one of my favorite places. It's retained that small town feeling. The mountains around Jasper are stunning. Lots of great restaurants and bars to enjoy as well.
Always been in love with jasper nature is nature it always deserv à 5 out of 5
Friendly, helpful. They have good merchandise as well. Every evening has free walking tour, you might need priority tickets, so ask inside. The reason I gave four starts, one staff pretended not to understand my English. I don’t know maybe she only speak French or because I am Asian???
The center was fine, but downtown is just restraunts and gift shops. Would be nice if there was more about the area. Maybe a shuttle bus to local attractions like museums, art galleries or hands on experiences about the science of the area.
The gentleman on the desk was excellent. We got all our questions answered and a lot of very helpful explanations. We left there feeling like we were served well. We were very confident that we will be well prepared for our next trip to Jasper, which we hope will be this coming July.
It is awesome place as I heard of it We missed cruise boat at maligne lake because we have to leave for whistler on May 25 and cruise starts on May 25 But never mind next time I wouldn't miss it I loved this place including my stay at Jasper house bungalows, lakes, hot springs, National park etc Will come back again
You have to stop by and get your info here. The Friends of Jasper gift shop is here. They have a great selection of gifts and maps. And the money spent there helps out the park.
So much to see and do. It's Sep 9th and it's +21!
Jasper is a beautiful little town, surrounded by majestic mountains. Make sure when booking a room/cabin they let you know if the T. V. 's work or not. Can get boring in your down time. Lots of hiking trails. Lots of souvenir shops.
Very helpful information amd brochures available for every activity or any kind of infor. They have a little gift shop inside it too.
Was here in Jasper for Canada Day. Really neat.
We were lucky enough to be spending 4 days in Jasper on a two week trip around the Rocky Mountains. As excited as we were about it we hadn't made any specific plans while we were here, so popped in here to get some information on what there was specifically to do. There were plenty of leaflets on local activities which we took full advantage of. We were also interested in some local hikes so asked the staff if they had any recommended ones. They supplied us with a map of all the popular hikes of all lengths and difficulty, which was just what we needed. We were also a little nervous about the dangers of wildlife and they were very helpful and clear on their advise, including areas closed off due to elk giving birth (we are from the UK so don't have to deal with this kind of wildlife often). Finally, the actual building itself is beautiful being the original from when the town was 1st established. The town is still not huge so you have a real sense of it being on the frontier.
Very good tourist information also good place to get excellent washroom. One can purchase yearly National park pass too.
