Memorial Park is beautiful. Its filled with very old tall trees and floral bushes. It also has a garden with a pond where you can walk around. There are bathrooms, benches, a walking path, and also a play ground. Great spot to have lunch or kill some time.

Not busy at all and a steep trail. If you have hiking poles, bring them, or grab a couple at the sign. Going down is not easy, but poles help a lot. Good a day hike.

Located in the heart of town, it's closeby to lots of shops and restaurants. Many establishments in the area close quite early in the day though. It's a nice park but you do need to look out for syringes, cigarette butts, questionable characters, etc. During windy seasons you need to watch out for falling branches and trees, which can be very dangerous.

Memorial Park in Hope is a great place to stop and take a rest and stretch your legs if you are travelling on the trans-Canada highway. There was a movie shot here at the park many years ago with Sylvester Stallone called First Blood. There are also interesting chainsaw cut log statues. - A Richard Trus review

This is a block of park, grass, and trees. There's also a playground and washrooms (during the day). It's a great place when you're traveling to stretch your legs and let the kids run. For us locals, it's great to walk in and it's right across from many businesses including the Blue Moose.

Great place with lots of shade and park for kids to play. It is often a stop we make to stretch our legs and grab a bite to eat while on a road trip. Lots of wood carvings, but as of August 2020 the statue of Rambo from First Blood has been added, right at the entrance across from the Blue Moose Cafe. We made a special stop this road trip just to see it!

I loved visiting this park as a kid passing through Hope. The tall trees, the field and the playground are all still excellent for unwinding after/during a long drive. There is a good public washroom, a great adventure playground, tennis and basketball courts that are usually free, and excellent coffee across the street at the Blue Moose.

I've grown up in this park because Hope is my hometown. I was one of the last children to be born in Hope. The most exciting part is the friendship garden because the pond and manmade fountain is very beautiful. The district works tirelessly to keep it litter free, clean and nice looking for tour buses. Living in this community can be difficult but with the help of the Hope District and other locals we can make this park look wonderful. Also certain events are held at this park on certain dates of the year, some are even annual like the Remembrance Day parade and the Car Show on Canada Day.

Last show of Hope Summer Concert Series - the slated artist wasn't able to make the date so the band that was hired to back her up stepped into the breach. Fantastic! Made up of fellows from Chilliwack and Abbotsford, one of whom is named Kazoni. Superb musicians and lively vocals. We had a great time and look forward to hearing them play again.

Fairly large playground and we'll maintained, they use small pebbles as their base, so the sidewalks can be slippery (if the kids are running). Lots of trees nearby so it is shaded if sunny. Nearby are coffee shops and restaurants and wooden statutes of animals.

This is a really nice park and my toddlers favorite spot to stop on our way home to kelowna from Vancouver. The public bathrooms are always open and have a change table, there is lots of green space and picnic tables. This is a perfect addition to a lunch stop while traveling through Hope.

Town Centre Park with Children’s Play Area with play apparatus, amphitheater, grassy area and picnic tables. Also has a Japanese garden called the Friendship Garden. Lovely pond and waterfall, with surrounding benches. Lovely view of the mountains.

This is a wonderful little park that has absolutely astounding views all around it. The mountains are beautiful to look at all day long. Park is also well maintained for the most part when it comes to its facilities and garbage cans. Only downside is the homeless that are harmless for the most part.

This was the first stop on our coach tour of the Rockies. We got a half hour break to stretch our legs, buy some snacks and visit the washroom in the park, which was very clean and well maintained. We saw many nice wood carved sculptures and statues at many places in the park as well as in the small town of Hope when we took a short walk around. There is a small and beautiful Friendship Garden in one section of the Park, built by the local Japanese Canadians.

Very nice park. Big trees provide lots of shade and there's a play area for the kiddies. Nice place for an afternoon picnic.

Park was great. Perfect place to pull over and let the kids burn off their energy after being in the car for a long period of time. Woman's washroom had absolutely no toilet paper in any of the stalls and there was pee on every single seat... that was a bit inconvenient.

Really pleasant park central to Hope with gardens, play areas for kids and lots of amenities nearby. Only drawback was a rather prominent piece of obscene graffiti on the play equipment, but even that had a silver lining in that we were able to capture a hilarious photo of my daughter...i would attach but i fear the language would offend.

Nice clean park. Kids playground, lots of benches and washrooms for public use. Usually lots of free parking. Shops close by... But most importantly, they now have a Rambo statute.... Beautifully carved.

This park is a nice quiet place to relax and bring the kids. It has a large playground and tons of shaded areas which can help to disperse the heat especially during the summer periods. The heritage centre is close by too. The neighbourhood is also quaint and has a relaxing atmosphere to it. I'd highly recommend if you're looking for an afternoon or evening away from the hustle and bustle of life and some quiet time away from home.

Its a pretty nice park. Huge playground for the kids, large bathroom and i really like the japanese style pond. Its also got a huge field nearby for sports and games aswell as a tennis court in the far corner. The only problem i have with it is all the drug addicts hanging around(gets much worse in the afternoon/night). Thankfully there is usually police walking around on foot during events and busy times, so you can still feel safe there with your kids and stuff

Its a beautiful park. Wonder playground for kids, had 2 six years olds along. It has the most amazing, beautiful chainsaw carvings in it. In fact the whole town of Hole has carvings on street corners. We stop there on the way to Vancouver and again on way home. I love it.

Best place to stop in Hope when you've got a kid that needs to run around. Great coffee shop across the street, and a fantastic playground for the kid to run around and burn off some energy.
