A word of advice: prefer the entrance through the zoo, it's much nicer in terms of parking but also of a place to start a walk. (Original) Si vous cherchez un endroit pour une ballade en famille, un pique nique ou simplement un moment de détente alors ce lieu réponds à ces 3 attentes. Verdure, plan d'eau, jeux pour enfants , piscine, zoo...grands sentiers pour marches, tout est réuni à 10km de Poitiers, pour vous accorder un moment sympa. Petit conseil: préférez l'entrée par le zoo, c'est bien plus sympa en terme de stationnement mais aussi d'endroit pour se lancer en ballade.

The entrance is free and the owner is the city of Poitiers (if I read the rules). Why 2 stars ???? To encourage those responsible to take responsibility for ... and to innovate .... (Original) L'endroit respire la nature..... Légèrement paumé, pas complétement en pleine pampa, heureusement le gps est d'une bonne aide. Après un pique-nique sur l'aire réservée à cet usage, la visite du parc (plus que zoo) s'imposait. Bon.... C'est marrant... peut-être un peu plus avec des enfants... Quoique... le tour est vite fait, l'endroit est propre et les animaux sont là, à la différence du personnel absent (visite du site le 3 juillet). Les anciens bâtiments sont présents mais non accessibles. Le manège à l'entrée n'est pas opérationnel... Une journée pas fatiguante, proche de la nature et sans fioritures ni agapes festives.... Un peu monotone tout cela. L'accès n'est pas prévu pour les personnes à mobilité réduite, dans le sens où aucun fléchage n'autorise les véhicules à se rapprocher de l'entrée du parc qui surplombe le parking (ah si.... Nous avons bien vu les sens interdits par contre). Sur l'aire de pique nique, une table cassée, de l'herbe haute et des orties (des enfants et parents se plaignaient...). L'entrée est gratuite et le propriétaire est la ville de Poitiers ( si j'ai bien lu le règlement). Pourquoi 2 étoiles ???? Pour encourager les responsables à prendre leurs.... Responsabilités et à innover....

But there are empty enclosures .. Signs and fewer holes all over the place ... Lots but then a lot less animals .... The toilets were really disgusting .. While it was the day of the reopening at 11am so there are not 1000 people who could have dirty before ... Really too disappointed .. It is a free park certainly .. But really very very disappointed with what it becomes .. A few years ago it was a magnificent park with many animals ???? ... Too bad .. I change from 5 to 1 star suddenly ... Because it's really worth nothing at all and it's a shame .... Even if it is not for profit, sometimes charge 5-10 € to give him back his youth it could be good (Original) Après 2 ans sans avoir visité ce parc, ce fut une énorme déception d'y retourner et d'y voir tant de désolation..... Je ne sais pas si tout ça est à cause du covid.. Mais il y a des enclos vides.. Des pancartes en moins des trous un peu partout... Beaucoup mais alors beaucoup moins d'animaux.... Les toilettes était vraiment dégueulasse.. Alors que c'etait le jour de la réouverture à 11h donc y a pas 1000 personnes qui ont put salir avant... Vraiment trop déçu.. C'est un parc gratuit certes.. Mais vraiment très très déçu de ce qu'il devient.. Il y a encore quelques années c'était un parc magnifique avec beaucoup d'animaux ????... Tant pis.. Je change de 5 à 1 étoile du coup... Car la vraiment ça vaut plus rien du tout et c'est vraiment dommage.... Même si il n'est pas à but lucratif, des fois faire payer 5-10€ pour lui rendre sa jeunesse ça pourrait être bien

Failed family outing (Original) En arrivant au parc il y avait une pancarte disant que nous devions appeler un numéro ou " sonné au château " pour enregistrer notre pass sanitaire pour que l'on puisse accéder au parc zoologique mais pas de réponse au numéro comme au château , pas d'information non plus si le parc est ouvert... . Sortie en famille ratée
