It's too rich too describe, you'd have to explore the architecture yourself. The building is amzingly flawless and speaks for itself. It's great for anything that means moments, history, statements, photographs, and events like weddings. Toilets are available too and a nice drinkable water fountain, this amongst the beautiful field it boats next to out governor generals headquarters. Amusez-vous ! Ox

This is a great place, to take some visitors to the city. You have a nice park, some nice statues, some nice monuments, and you get a nice view of the Ottawa River. A little further in the park you also get a nice view of 24 Sussex the residence of the Prime Minister if you were actually staying there at this time.

It's a little hidden away and therefore not usually overcrowded. Mostly shaded with great views of the Ottawa River and Quebec. A great place for a picnic!

Very beautiful park, not too big however. There is a water fountain which I liked. There are some plaques explaining the history of the art, and you can wander off into the neighbourhood to look at all the embassy houses and manors! Fairly close to New Edinburgh too if you want to grab a bite to eat or have a drink.

Great place to spend an afternoon. Lots of picnic tables, an open field for kids, washrooms, a covered pavilion, and plenty of tree shade. Bring your own BBQ and enjoy the river scenery. Parking can run out especially if other groups are there at the same time, but there's an overflow lot nearby.

I always like the Rockcliffe Rockeries, the flowers that are panted are lovely, it’s a hidden gem. I love to walk my dogs here not many people which is great. The ruins are interesting I didn’t know they were there till awhile ago.

My family and I love coming here with our dog! It's a great walk and especially good for covid times seeing as there is a large road, but make sure to watch out for cars! The view is one of the nicest over seen in the Ottawa area, looking out over the the river. Would recommend to everyone, 10/10

Seeing the world In a different way

Having seen historic ruins and fountains in Europe and Greece before I found the Rockeries to be disappointing and not that interesting. I think only worth a 5 minute look and to take some silly photos. And yes I did take a few of those while I was there lol Yet the Rockcliffe park is awesome with its great space to walk your dog, look at flowers and enjoy the open fields. I suggest that if you are in this area you walk to the nearby RCMP horse stables and go to the Aviation museum. Also bring a picnic lunch and blanket so that you can have fun bonding with nature. If you like my reviews, photos or videos give them a thumbs up. And don't ruin your day with negative thoughts lol

Beautiful and quiet place with a stellar view of the Ottawa River at the point where the Gatineau River merges in. I was very pleasantly surprised to find that there were cast iron chairs and a table. We ate our lunch there and greatly enjoyed the experience!

A very lovely place in summer, good views off the river and even with traffic close by it very quiet place. Good for outdoor meetings but for smallish groups due to parking.

This was the beautiful location for your May wedding. What the pictures online don't show is that a lot of wind can funnel in from over the Ottawa river, which can be chilly in the shade or cause problems with decorations and the like. Also we didn't have access to any electricity, which might have been nice. But the location is clean and lovely, and most park visitors are respectful of your special day. Definitely a memorable location for such a memorable occasion!

Beautiful spot in the city to sit back relax, go for a walk with your family or friends and take the dog. There are picnic tables around the grounds, but not in pavilion. Friends used public washroom, stated ok but some t.p on the floor. There are paved walkways, but I didn't see any ramps or accessible ways to enter the pavilion.

Always loved this part of the park. I used to go tobogganing with my little sister and grandfather in the winter years ago here. It's a beautiful place to visit any time of the year. Great for romantic walks, family picnics and anything else.
