It's worth the wait for your turn to enter despite the Covid measures. All the buildings were open and guides were present in each. La croix de Jacques Cartier tout en granite est particulièrement impressionnante. Nos enfants ont adoré se promener à travers le site. Superbe aménagement de l'espace qui nous rappelle l'histoire portuaire de Gaspé et l'arrivée de grands navires. La récente mise en valeur du site est remarquable. Plusieurs panneaux explicatifs. Nous avons beaucoup aimé l'animation dans le magasin général par un guide passionné et passionnant qui nous en a appris beaucoup sur l'histoire de la ville. In a general store re-enactment, a passionate guide told us about several things and was very proud to show us an amazing artifact: a butter jar adorned with multiple swastikas !!! C’est un grand espace qui se visite en plus d’une heure si on prend le temps de tout voir, probablement plus. Nous avions peu de temps sinon nous y serions restés plus longtemps. Dans une reconstitution de magasin général, un guide passionné nous a parlé de plusieurs choses et était très fier de nous montrer un artefact étonnant: une jarre à beurre ornée de multiples svastikas!!!
