Very interesting for the kids and adults as well. Nicely organized. The only problem is that they have closed (very strange) their services and one needs to use temporary toilets installed at the entrance. Very dirty.

Michael B

CASH ONLY!! This park DOES NOT take plastic. It is not apparent in this Googe profile nor does it appear to be on their facebook page. …

John P. Oldroyd

My Grandson's had a great time! And I was impressed by the quality of the dinosaurs and the settings...

Dave North

Amazing diamond in the rough place to visit. As others have noted, it's cash only so plan accordingly. You'll be treated to around an hour walk around a nice trail with a lot of dinosaurs that are all sculpted in concrete! The detail is phenomenal. Be sure to ask the chap at the desk how they make them - him and his brother make them all!

Magnolia Mel

I really liked coming for an hour with my family on our way to upper Canada village. Would not have been impressed if we had driven out only to see this place. There's really not much yo do after you've seen the dinosaurs. It's a cool place to check out, once or twice. Not a place you'd visit over and over again unless your kids are huge dino fans. Got some cool pictures, I was happy about that. Nice and shaded too in most spots. I like the path to walk around, bring bug spray.

Karen Britton-Reid

A fabulous place for the whole family. The grounds are very well kept and they are currently developing a new area for some new dinosaurs. Great picnic area with lots of tables and bathrooms on site. They have a concrete path that is all …

Tyler Keddy

I like this place as I used to come here when I was younger and now I have children theft come here. The dinosaurs need renovations! But they are still beautiful. The signs need replacing! The trails that leads a kilometre are too beautiful where you can see different dinosaurs. T-rex were my son's favorite one. There are picnic tables to have lunch or dinner! Great for a family day...

Julie Cashman (Jewels)

I went here as a kid, came back now since i am 40 with a friend, the guy is awesome, i had a wonderful time taking pictures and recalling my childhood memories

amrit rodrigues

Has loads of fun, a short drive from Ottawa, must go place, several dinosaur sculptures to look at along a winding trail. Value for money prices. The Morrisburg OnRoute's close by and a blessing. Trail takes about 30 mins to complete, give …

Brendan Savoy

The displays are all life sized even if they aren't perfectly lifelike.

Rascal Nag

Great place to bring your kids to see life size dinosaurs! Around 2 hours to walk around the whole park so bring your lunch!

Paula Place

This was our second year visiting the park and the kids, aged 5, 3 and 1 all loved it! The mosquitoes were bad the day we went and we forgot our shovels for the sand pit but we still had a great time. I was excited to see that they are working on expanding the pathway! Current admission fees can be seen in my photo. We always follow this with a trip to the Earl Baker park and splash pad in Morrisburg for a full day out.

Mike Montalvo

This a great fun park for those who love Dinos. The dinosaurs are made out of concrete and made to scale. So they are live size. You walk a path through the woods and as you go you discover different dinosaurs. Each one has an info sheet. There is also a dig sight for the kids to play in the sand and find fossils. Of course they can't be removed but fun for the kids. It is also reasonably priced. It is $10 for adults and $6 for kids. Normally you can also bring a picnic and have a picnic alongside the dinos. However right now due to COVID-19 picnics are not permitted in the park.

Jennifer Kerr

The dinosaurs and the grounds were amazing. It was easy to get to and so much fun while you're there. I would give it five stars if it had any extras. I was confused by the lack of a gift shop, as I came prepared to spend some money on something for my kid. Also, you couldn't buy any water or ice cream bars or anything. I feel like these are lost opportunities from a business standpoint, and they would push the customer experience over the edge. Regardless, we really loved going, and we'll definitely go back in the future. We had an awesome time.

Pat Gervais

What a nice, little place. The property is beautifully kept.

Vincent Labrèche

Bucolic and awesome little place. Perfect for the kids with both a sandpit filled with fossils and a lot of life sized dinosaurs in a nice forest path. Cheap too ;)

Alexa Lam

Fantastic pieces of art from a pair of very dedicated brothers! Hearing the story of how they hand crafted each of the dinosaurs in their "backyard" which is acres and acres of forest, is amazing and a testament to their dedication as artists and entertainers. My son, who is the biggest dinosaur fan, was thrilled and ran from dinosaur to dinosaur naming as many as he knew. We loved the details on the Maiasaurus, the Triceratops, the Tyrannosaurus Rex and the Brontosaurus. The grounds are well kept and the stone path is well constructed. Loved our experience here. Price was very fair.

Glenn Murray

Great for fans of dinosaurs - son had a blast. Nice trail (concrete cobble effect, so no worries if it's wet out) that loops through the forest with life-size dinos around every bend. …

Melinda Mendoza

Beautiful, well maintained place..great for walk and family picnic, kids are amazed with all the dinosaurs. Peaceful a and relaxing.

Rose-Anne Theriault

Amazing!! Truly a gem and very cool experience!

Anna Mryglo

Honestly, not worth its price - boring. Only walking between the trees is good on a sunny day, but the trail is too short. Some dinosaurs are not in their best shape too.

Patricia Mitchell

Displays are a bit dated but the children loved it!!!! Beautiful walk through the woods Very busy on a Wednesday morning Move quite quickly through though. CRUCIAL: THEY ONLY TAKE CASH!! honestly never crossed my mind (many places for the last year requested cards due to Covid) so the thought of ANYWHERE only taking cash was mind-blowing lmao Enjoy your day friend ????????

Jeremie Laviolette

Well maintained, fun and informative.

Marlon Lewis

Simple outdoor adventure fornthe kids. Love the landscape and the outdoor setting. Kids loved it. Watch out for mosquitoes.

Lazlo Klemenski

A fun walk with the cool breeze from the area. The dinosaurs were a delight to see at scale. They would have been utterly terrifying to experience in the wild. It would have been nice to have had a picnic. Seniors are 55+ here.

Daniel Tessier

Nice trail in the woods. The dinosaurs are well made. Kids had fun.

Kat Tremblay

Awesome place to take young children and teach them about dinosaurs..or just take a lot of fun pictures! Only 4 stars because there isn't anything else to do other than walk around and look at the sculptures. There is a picnic area with tables but it was still closed due to covid but in other areas of the province these things are open. A gift shop or a chip truck or something would really set this place up for success!

Jeremy Teigen

Campy? Yes. Accurate? Unclear. Good spot to get little legs moving on a fun path away from digital stuff on your road trip? YES. Bring robust insect countermeasures.

Delio Marimon

Educational trail with life size dinosaurs and other extinct creatures. Fall season is the best to visit to match the colourful leaves.

Hisham Obeidat

We had a Great time The Kids and my wife and I all loved it very clean well maintained huge space to walk around with the kids many dinosaurs and reading about each one of them. We will go again :).

Bill Aubrey

Well kept and great. We really enjoyed our visit today. Walking is easy and clean, dinosaurs are all well kept and great fun for kids. Sand box with fossils to find was great for my 4yo son. Brought back memories from when I was young.

Gil Strachan

With emphasis on the excellent dinosaur sculptures, and no comercialization I really enjoy visiting this attraction. Great place to bring kids... no junk food or kitschy souveniers for sale! Bravo! Well-done!

Dave M

Kids loved it. Owner run and very friendly.

Joel

This place is great. Strongly recommended. Bring cash.

Lei Shi

CASH ONLY!! The most close ATM is in a camping ground, 5 mins apart. It’s a good stop for a lunch break, but not worth for a dedicated trip. You can walk through it within 20 mins. It does have a big sand box where kids can “excavate” fossils.

Isabelle Dobbing

Nice stroll through the woods on a interlock path. The owner even offers the bug repellent! Some of those dinosaurs where very impressive! Kids really enjoyed it. Bilingual fact sheets were a plus.

Sudhita Kalava

Kids had fun. They had almost all kind of dinosaurs replicas.

Mark A

Reasonably priced gem of a outdoor museum. Walk around a path going through a forest and field that leads you to life size replicas (painted reinforced concrete) of various dinosaurs. Each dinosaur had a plaque with interesting information. The owner builds the dinosaurs so you might see a work in progress. Stroller accessible and a nice walk for the whole family.

Olivia Phillips

Our family had a blast! There were fun facts that were short enough to keep our son interested, but educational for us adults too! As you can see, it was fun for both the big and the little kids that did the walk through. It was a great Covid-era adventure as it is naturally socially distant as an outdoor activity. Everything was well-sanitized and they took info on every person attending.

Nancy Paquette

We really enjoyed our visit. The grounds are clean and well kept. We visited with our two year old who really enjoyed finding the next dino. It was a nice walk. Would love to see cool things like camping amongst the dinosaurs in the future! …

Clayton Mishak

Great for kids to see scale sized prehistoric animals made painstakingly by two brothers. An inexpensive way to spend an hour, you pack a lunch and it's pet friendly.

Samantha Galvez

Beautiful experience, we visited today and overall was great, you basically make a tour and you can see the Dinosaurs statues with the name and information, kids really enjoy the time, I will definitely recommend the place.

J. Michael Cherry

Fantastic place for children of all ages. I even enjoyed it as an adult. The sculptures are fantastic, hand made and painted. Please respect the rules and DO NOT CLIMB on the dinosaurs. The owners put a lot of time and love into this place and when people damage them, they have to take time fixing things rather than making more trails etc. This is an amazing gem and I hope it thrives.

Najman Mughal

I definitely recommend visiting the prehistoric world. Very cool place to take kids and take some awesome photos.

Ben Bega

Grate please for kids and Family, grate services from Gentleman at the entrance, children always call him "Santa Claus". Thank you very much!!!

Madeline Johnstone

Amazing outing with my 3 year old! If you are unsure if they are open just give them a call. They answer the phone very quickly. Totally worth the price (they could charge more and i would pay it) there were way more dino statues than i expected. We stopped at morrisburg beach and got icecream after.

Victoria Brown

The dinosaur were very cool and lifelike. A couple of the paths could use some work as they were a bit hazardous.

Dustin Thorley

Great activity with kids! Have been going for the better part of 30 years.

Darlene McLeod- Sprott

Wonderful Imaginative visit for our family! The children Love it here! Running down the magical path discovering what's around the bend. Hugging each and every dinosaur ???? it's spectacular to stand beside these life sized beautifully made …

Sarah Midea

Fun way to spend an hour or so - went by quickly with a child under 3, as they were a bit apprehensive about the dinos at first. Would definitely go again when our child is a bit older and interested in the info about each dino.

Christopher McGill

Great activity for kids and not too far from Montreal. All the Dino sculptures are as big as they would be in real life, they even give a description of the dinosaurs and where they would have lived. The price of admission can't go wrong very affordable

Diana V

The perfect excuse to take a walk in that park: seeing dinosaurs statues and taking photos.

Dragon Cut

I might be cheap, it was 16 dollars for two of us to get in and is about an hour walk through. I thought the price might be a bit high. But my daughter really did like the statues. It is a well laid out path and there is also a place to do some digging for prepaid out fossils.

Rebecca Ritchie

Exceeded my expectations! It was much bigger than I thought and very well maintained. My toddler loved it! We will be back again with bug spray.

Travis Cole

Worth the drive from Ottawa if you have young kids. My 3 year old had an absolute blast. The cost to enter is very reasonable. You're not paying for any extra 'frills', just for upkeep. The owners work very hard to make sure the grounds are clean and manicured. They even offer bug spray if you require some (you'll need it). There are no food vendors on site, so bring your own food. There are picnic tables and lots of shady spots on the grass for a picnic. As for the dinosaur's, my kid loved running to and from all of them (there are dozens). They come in all shapes and sizes. The pathways and lawns are well maintained and allow you to get up close to all of the statues. Lots of great photo opportunities to be had. We ended up spending about 2.5 hours here, including lunch. Great place to go for a day trip from Ottawa, highly recommended!

Valeriy Zhykharevych

My son loved this visit. The trail is 1 km long and very well maintained. Owner is very friendly and proposed us repellent against mosquitoes. If not these bloody creatures we would stay there longer. The site has a picnic area. We've learned a lot of information about the dinosaurs. Recommend for parents with children.

David Tremblay

We enjoyed our visit. I was not impressed at the beginning but as we were progressing, things were getting better. We went during fall, we had a some rain in the days prior our visit, was expecting muddy path but not at all. The path is well maintained and interlock. We loved our by our visit.

Darrin Govers

Great family place. Admission is 10$ and kids 3 and under are free. Unfortunately you can't picnic due to Covid, but once things are back to normal it is a great location to spend an hour or two then have a nice lunch! Thanks for the wonderful visit.

Stephanie McDougall

If your kid loves dinosaurs then this place is awesome. Best for younger kids. Also a nice stroll for parents

Jessica Monette

My kids loved it! (2 and 3 yo). Took about 1.5 hours. No picnicking until Covid passes over though so don't plan to eat here.

Michelle O'Donohue

We had such a fun time here! Kiddos (3&1) both had a blast! Lots to see, and a beautiful setting!

Lisa Craig

Nice nature walk. Beautiful surroundings. My kids are 9 & 13 - I didn't think they'd enjoy it a much as they did! Bring bug spray though, the mosquitoes were bad! It was the day after a big rain so that may have contributed.

Gracie Perkins

Great place to take the whole family. Walk through at your own pace - social distancing - doesn't cost an arm and a leg. Walk through as many times as you want! Sit on the grass and have lunch. Mosquitoes were not bad. Nice day. Take your sand shovels for the dig.

Hadil Tahir

Such a lovely place! We really enjoyed our time here as a family

Alex P.

Stopped there while returning home from a long drive. Thought the kids would enjoy the experience only to find out that they only take cash as payment for the admissions. Unfortunately, we rarely carry cash and we had to turn away and back into our car with two crying and screaming kids. Nowadays, it is very easy to have a card payment method such as Square pay. I understand that they charge fees, but as a business person, I think those fees are worth it if they bring customers in. All of this makes me thing it is a shady place or that they don't want to declare all of their revenues. My family was really disapointed and the remains drive home was aweful because of the crying kids.

Natalie Gunn-Abrams

The walk through prehistoric world was informative. Reading about dinosaurs and having space for a child to run about was perfect. There is a picnic area so packing one would be a great idea. Some information plaques are a little weathered making it difficult to read and the washrooms are temporary ones. Lots of the area is in the trees so don’t let the rain deter you!

Steve Lortie

The owner has done a good job. Our grandson, 3, was quite excited and practically ran all the way through not leaving us much time to read the plaques.

Adam L

Awesome place. Nice sculptures.kids absolutely loved it. Friendly man at the cash. One thing I noticed is that they dont have a computer, just alot of books on the shelf and they also have an old hook phone that they use, something haven't seen since i was a kid(just an observation). Great place to visit with the family and friends

Ken Kardash

Life-sized poured-concrete dinosaurs scattered along a pleasant forested path, all the loving work of one man and his brother over 40 years. The view of a brontosaurus looming through tree branches is itself worth the (cash only) admission!

Tim McCarthy

Vert impressive. Lots of dinos to look at and read about. Large sculptures. My 3 year old daughter loved it.

Louis Poirier

Had a nice picnic outside the grounds then my preschooler lapped the grounds till closing. I think it was about 8 laps in 5 hours. He loved it!

Natalie Massicotte

I've heard about this place for years and it did not disappoint. My 3 year old isn't overly into dinosaurs and had an absolute blast, she wanted her photo taken with every single dinosaur. Really beautiful walk through the forest, we went in the fall and it was gorgeous. The path through the forest was a beautifully taken care of stone path (the whole way!) that seemed like it would be very stroller friendly

SassyStiles

Fun outing for families. Well maintained park and walkways. Out houses are kept clean. 4 stars because picnic are no longer allowed.

Vladimir Mitcul

An absolute must for kids any age, especially fans of Little Foot :) Real size, well maintained dinosaurs Paved paths through the woods (though slightly uneven for strollers with small wheels)

Michael L

Bring Cash! It was surprisingly enjoyable to me as an adult (still love dinos)the were a lot of life size replicas of dinos throughout. It is well laid out and my 3.5 year nephews enjoyed digging for fossils so bring a plastic shovel.

Jonno Sparey

The whole family enjoyed this experience. It isn't very commercial. There isn't a shop or café. There is a lovely walk with 30 to 40 creatures of different heights. Mainly dinosaurs but some ice age stuff. My 3 year old loved it.

Chazwazzle

Blast from the past! Went here as a kid and now I'm able to bring my kids here. My Daughter loves dinosaurs and to see the wonder on her face as she ran from sculpture to sculpture was priceless.

D Pineault

Kids had fun exploring. It can be a fast tour, or you can take you time reading the write up about each …

Jenna Elward

We really enjoyed prehistoric world. Right from when we got there the kids were engaged and wanting to see more. There is a path through the woods that takes you to see a bunch of dinosaurs, took us just under 2 hrs to walk with a 2 yr old and two 5 yr olds. The kids enjoyed being able to touch and pretend to feed the dinosaurs. A lot of picnic tables are available for lunch and there is a fossil dig where kids can dig in the sand. There is also a big open field and some good climbing trees. The drive about an hour from Ottawa. Worth it I think! Heads up they only take cash and there is no cafeteria so you have to bring your own food. $10 for adults and $8 for kids 4+.

Kyle Barr

Had a Great time at Prehistoric World The Kids and my wife and I all loved it. It's owner owned and operated and you can feel the 35 years of love and hard work that have gone into it. I remember going there as a child myself and hope it still exists in 30 years for my own children to rediscover.

phil laurin

A great place to take the kids. The walk, taken slowly, lasts about an hour. Half of the walk is inside a forested area with nice clearings. The property is beautiful and the admission is fair. The owners is great, and leashed dogs are welcome so bring your pooch.

Brian

I had a blast! I thought I would be bored but it turned out to be a lot of fun. There is no gift shop or anywhere to buy food, so bring a picnic lunch and take advantage of the open spaces and picnic tables.

Kevin Lee

This visit made me deeply impressed by the importance of cash, because during the pandemic, the store only accepts cash payments. However, I think credit card consumption can reduce the spread of bacteria and viruses. In addition, the …

Ved O

Great place to have a quick break between Toronto n Montreal. Wonderful for kids. Cash only. No food or drink on site for purchase though. Lots of parking spaces and readily accessible from the highway.

Alexei Buza

Great place, really worth a visit. All is done by owners only and that's make it even better.

Mia H

The dinosaur museum was very fun to see for our toddler but it's not so interactive. Visitors are still not allowed to sit on the picnic tables, so I suggest planning accordingly. Also another heads up- this place is cash only. We had to leave to find an atm to withdraw cash.

Michel Poirier

Friendly reception upon arrival. My 5 year old had a blast. Not too pricey but make sure you bring cash...no interac.

Alex Serrano

Kids had a great time walking around. About an hour to get through the trail and a very nice picnic area.

Jeremy Prosser

Great place for anyone with a kid that likes dinosaurs. I was actually surprised at how many there are!

KP Cons.

A good place to take kids on a sunny day. Well maintained I must say that. They accept cash only for tickets.
