REVIEWS OF Yellowstone National Park IN Fort Smith

Cannot fully express how wonderful of an experience this visit was. Arrived Friday night and left early the next Friday morning. Camped at Bridge Bay Campground and this stay was excellent. The park is so large and has many beautiful and wonderful features. This is a unique corner of the world with varying geological features and ecosystems. Bring some good binoculars to spot wildlife from afar!

Kristin C

Absolutely incredible. Lots of driving. We used the app gypsyguide and listened to the audio tour. Saw a moose, bear, Buffalo, wolves, and lots of stinky boiling water. Highly recommend

Vaishali Tyagi

The most beautiful drive with the valley views at the Lamar Valley. Watching the Grand Prismatic from the top after a hike gives you an entire view of the place. Don’t forget to go to the Grand Canyon of Yellowstone and the artist point. The Old Faithful makes you wait for an hour to erupt but it’s worth. You’ll spot wild animals all through your drive anywhere. If lucky you can spot bears and wolves too. It’s an experience to be at Yellowstone. Beautiful place. Also try to drive through Grand Teton going from Yellowstone.

Aaron Jones

I loved my visit to Yellowstone. Great place to see in the winter. Everything was covered in snow and ice, the animals were just getting active, and I had a tremendously good time. Yellowstone is a great park to visit and made only better by the snow and ice.

Aiden Nalley

Yellowstone is a beautiful place. There were hundreds of buffalo, lots of deer, some bears, and wolves. Yellowstone is definitely a must see place!

Michele Hoak

I took my 7 year old grandson to Yellowstone. We had a great time. Got to see everything we wanted to and it wasn't very crowded.

Rv Life Road Travel Minimalist

We went there last week, good the sun came up it was raining snow for 2 days (autum) its something u shouldnt missed one main attraction going to North from West side.. Mammoth Hotspring!!! This area is big u can park east, west, atop if u dont wanna walk too far..

Tyler Gardner

Yellowstone is one of the best places I've visited in awhile and easily the best national park. There's so much lush green forests and wildlife galore

old school

Amazing place to visit. Never really realized how huge of an area Yellowstone was till I was here . Grandkids were just as excited as I was to explore the park .

Will Rudnick

This place is HUGE!! Driving through the Lamar Valley was one of the most beautiful drives I’ve ever gone on. Lots of bison and also lots of tourists which made some of the roads congested. Oh well! Drive early to avoid crowds.

Jun yi Huang

Fabulous view with all the geysers, springs and wild animal. Awesome getaway experience!

K9ALPHAWOLF

Beautiful place to stay for 5 days and love the wildlife. Saw elk, moose longhorn and ravens and even lots of buffalo. Even saw a buffalo at the old faithful so amazing. Recommended going back again

Jimaayyy

Amazing place, I love that they made this area into a National Park to preserve it. I know future generations will be thankful. Geysers are awesome. Grand Prismatic Spring was the coolest part for me. The Firehole Lake road is super cool. If you want to see bison go to Lamar Valley. There were hundreds. Kids were super happy to see them.

Chiranth Bs

One of the most unique places to see geysers and travel back in time .

Chasity Smith

Wow! Just wow!! I love National Parks and America’s 1st NP did not disappoint. I covered as much as possible in 4.5 days with so many animal sightings and many other great sights to see. Lamar Valley was an amazing place to sit and watch the animals. If you can you must go!

Bradley Banks

Simply amazing. Words don't do it justice. From the beauty of the water falls, the delight of the geysers, to the just weird of the mud pits this is a must do. Also wildlife galore. If you haven't gone go!

MirandaRivera5

The greatest and first national park in the world

Vladimir Shnayderman

Must see. There's a lot that have been written about the park I will try to be brief. This is the first national park in United States and in the world and it's absolute must see. The best time to visit in my opinion is full. The combination of cold weather hot gazers and full colors is absolutely astonishing

wade byers

I've been to a few National Parks, Yellowstone is by far the most interesting so far. Even though it smells bad I would like to return to explore more areas. You could spend a full week here easily.

Sasha Leatherbarrow

The views throughout this whole place are truly incredible! It was $35 entry fee or $80 for a year pass to all national parks so we did the yearly one as we wanted to go to grand Teton too. The park is huge so I’d recommend googling the different hikes/photos spots you want to go to before you go and then plan your route. Going to see the famous volcano is a must! Tip for girls, wear your hair up: the cold air and steam from the volcano made my hair damp and it wasn’t a good look! There’s no service the higher you go up and it gets pretty cold (we went middle of October).

David Kroeger

We were able to travel to Yellowstone in the summer of 2020. The park was busy, but not overly crowded. I have been comings since the 80's. Watching some of the severe fire burns transition back has been amazing. Makes you appreciate the vital role fire plays in keeping the ecosystem healthy. Really enjoyed our time in this treasure.

Manu Rekhi

Mind blowing amazing. Take your time and spend a week. And learn to relax and take in this amazing beauty.

LISA HANEY

Seriously, what can I say about Yellowstone that everyone hasn’t already mentioned? Bears, Buffalo, dear, elk, eagles, wolves and some amazing geysers. There literally is no place like this. Be prepared to get in long wait lines and traffic is usually pretty bad. Have patience, it’s worth the wait.

Michael Steward

Second time in the park. No complaints. Scenery is always spectacular. Park rangers are friendly and helpful. Animals everywhere. And aside from one bear jam, traffic was minimal.

Jacob G

An amazing park with a ton of incredible features. This place is HUGE, so either do some research and planning beforehand or plan on spending/visiting over multiple days. We stayed in the Island Park area and visited the park over the course of 3.5 days(half a day at Grand Teton, well worth it) and still didn't see everything. The geysers are a must-see, but maybe dedicate the time to see some other that Old Faithful. There are so many different scenic places and short hiking trails that make it worth exploring. Areas like the Grand Prismatic Springs and the Artists Paint Pots are a bit of a hike, but well worth it. There are also several falls worth visiting. The Virgina Cascades are just off the road with a great view. The Rustic Falls are smaller but still pretty, kind of off the beaten path. If you're up for the hike though, going to the Lower Falls lookout in the "Grand Canyon" of Yellowstone is spectacular. The only real downside to this park is a side-effect of its popularity: traffic caused by people stopping in the road is unavoidable and far too common. There's lots of critters along the roads and plenty of people want photos of them. The problem starts when those people don't find a turn off or go into the shoulder, but instead stop on the road. This causes traffic to back up worse than rush hour in a city. If you have a tight schedule, make sure to account for that possibility.

Eduardo Mace

Even with the growing crowds this is still a great national park. Definitely the most diverse scenic views, geological and geographic spectacles you can wish to see. Within this there is the incredible wildlife that stuns the senses and makes this park the most memorable of all US National Parks.

Laura Alvis

Yeah it was ok! I don’t see what the big fuss about this place is all about but it was still worth seeing and very beautiful. Wonderful knowledge and history, amd wildlife to see. Made a day out of it and we still didn’t have enough time to experience the whole park. Its that big. Wonderful place to visit, but so are many others. No wait at the entrance which I couldn’t believe, must be because we came in September after summer vacations were over.

Monica T

Aww...Dear Yellowstone, you hold such a place in my heart. My experiences only whet the appetite for more travel and indeed a new tradition I suspect is being born! Blessed to have seen plenty Buffalo, fewer elks this trip, lots of fish jumping on the Madison river...my friends were in awe of the fall foliage. Until next time sweet Yellowstone!

Crystal Cauthron

We had an amazing trip to Yellowstone with lifelong memories for our family. We got to experience beautiful views of nature and wildlife. We can't wait to return!

Darren Baker

We've gone to lots of national parks and this is by far the best. It jumps to the number one ranking for us. The huge downside of course are the huge crowds and the traffic but it is what it is. Lots of amazing things to see here. Give yourself plenty of time here stay as close as you can and spend a few days as the park is massive.

David Alizadeh

Absolutely beautiful place. Do yourself a favor and pay the 35 dollars to enter. Which is good for 1 week. Take the loop around yellowstone and visit all the important sites like old faithful and canyon village. There are many beautiful locations worthy of pictures. From the many geysers along the route to the many animals that inhabit the park. There are many spots to stop at and a wide variety of stores to buy souvenirs and food.

Jossie Constantino

Fresh air, awesome scenery, wildlifes. good food, relaxation to the max and wonderful people.

bill d

The first and arguably the finest of our National parks Yellowstone should be on your list to visit. Fantastic geothermal sights combined with some of the best wildlife viewing in the country. Lamar valley can be compared to the Serengeti. A little more remote but rewards arriving before day break as well at sunset.

Cyndi Huffman

The most beautiful national park we have been to! So very much to see and such different geological sights to take in. A national treasure for sure! Amazing!

Daniel A Jones (Daniel J Arthur)

This place is fantastic to visit! Mother Earth always reminds me she is alive and needs our respect and care.

Rebecca s

Loved it!! I did a road trip with my parents and dog across the country and we all feel like Yellowstone changed our lives! The beauty was breathtaking. We can’t get over what we saw from those couple days there!

A “Greedy Devil” Enriquez

Absolutely a great experience for the whole family. There are many breathtaking views and attractions. Wildlife roams around freely although people treat them like domesticated animals, they are very much NOT domesticated, you get a great feeling of being one with nature.

Morgan Baker

One of the best places I've ever been. Ever. I absolutley loved this adventurous place. It was clean. Easy to access and drive around, yet it was easy to get away from the road and enjoy nature. It 9s the perfect place for couple, families, or to go by yourself! All in all an amazing place to visit!

MadHouse Gym

I don't think I've ever seen a more beautiful place. Very well managed too. I can't wait to come back!

Bobby Kent

Hard to believe this place is on Earth. Hands down the most beautiful stunning amazing diverse landscape I've ever seen in one area.

Wendy Hales

This place has so much wildlife. The kids loved it and the hiking is amazing.

Marcus Daley

How could anyone not love Yellowstone? The ranger at the entrance was super friendly and told us fun stories. At the visitors center for Old Faithful the workers were very friendly, even right after dealing with a very difficult customer in front of me. They told us more stories and pointed out park secrets to my wife and myself. Even though we only got to explore maybe 1/4th of the park, we loved it and can’t wait to go back for more.

Buddy King

Awe inspiring. Easy travel on good roads. Be prepared to wait when traffic stops to watch bison, elk or maybe the occasional bear. The park facilities are beautiful and boardwalks get you close to geysers, valleys, rivers and waterfalls of note. Camping, restrooms are abundant but often busy. YNP is not to be missed. It's grandeur is inspiring.

Christian Fantoni

First & Finest... . That should explain alot... One of the most Amazing places on Earth... Beaty...Colors...Amaizment.... No enough words to explain...

Ankit Sutaria

Sheer beauty! Must visit national park in the US. Very well maintained, paved roads, easy access to the attractions, scenic drives.

Patrick Hormell

Yellowstone is the best! The park offers so much that there isn't enough time to do everything. The animals are plentiful, I was fortunate to see a bear.

aniket dharmik

One of the beautiful national park in the world I would say. Had a great time visiting all the geysers (half of the world geysers are at Yellowstone). Watching wildlife in wild is such a life time experience. Plan your trip ahead and pack plenty of food with you. We started from west entrance and ended our day on east entrance and on day 2 visited north entrance and ended our day on west entrance covering all the major spots in park. Be ready to be amazed. Yellowstone is ❤️

Mihai Tiplea

One of the greatest natural parks on earth in my opinion. Lots of wild animals you can admire in their own habitat. You need at least a full day to see the park but I recommend 2 days to see everything.

Kay Kiss Photography

Beautiful park! Pretty busy with tourists but lots of amazing scenery. Old Faithful Geyser erupting was cool to see and learn about as well as Firehole Canyon Road is a must for a beautiful scenic drive.

Ana Escalante

Beautiful park but you definitely need a few days to explore it. Take food with you as there are not many options and the available ones are expensive and bad. You also need to anticipate that it takes 1.5 hrs to get in and out of the park regardless of which entrance you use. It is exhausting! Also, you DO NOT have the option to rent Bear spray there (only at airport), you have to buy it if you want it for $50+.

Laird Fielding

The best National Park I have been to yet. Visited 13 others if that helps ????. The wildlife was spectacular. The crowds of people were a little overwhelming the times we wanted to do things like Mammoth Hot Springs or walk the boardwalk at Grand Prismatic and of course Old Faithful but they were all worth just being patient and realizing that people from all over the world want to see these marvels of nature. We spent 10 days between the Tetons and Yellowstone. That was a perfect amount of time to really get to enjoy all the big ticket attractions.

naveen reddy

It's too crowded during long weekends. But It's worth waiting in the lines. Must visit grand prismatic spring, mammoth hot springs.

Ana Lucía Arteaga Ortega

Personally is the best National Park I ever visited around the U.S. The photos don't describe how beautiful and unique is this spot.

Vasu M

Absolutely gorgeous place to visit. We spent 4 days and atillhqvelot more to see.

Rebecca Jones

Yellowstone National Park is a great place to go for vacations! There are plenty of places for both kids and adults to go hiking, see geysers or wildlife. I was able to do multiple hikes there in a single day. I would recommend going to old faithful if you want to see a geyser erupt, most of the geysers don't erupt very often at Yellowstone other than Old Faithful. Other geysers are still definitely worth seeing though! The pools are stunning, vibrant colors that you hardly see anywhere else. There's lots of wildlife at Yellowstone! Elk, bison, birds, bears, the list goes on. You'll definitely get to see some bison and maybe get to see them up close. If you plan on going to Yellowstone for fall break make sure to bring warm clothes! It was quite cold plus the additional water from the geysers can make it even more cold.

Lucen Li

Unique geographic features, geyser, spring, mud pot, pool. Paradise of wildlife, bison, bear, wolf. Highly recommended.

A T

One of the amazing places in the world... Yellowstone National Park! We visited in Sep, so there were no crowds. Weather was perfect.. not hot not cold. We enjoyed unobstructed views of hot water springs and geyers and got many photo opportunities. Be ready to take many pics as this is such a colourful and remarkable wonder of nature. I would suggest to visit nearby places too .. Grand Teton, Jackson Hole Town Square.

Steve Simmons

Beautiful alot to see. I would recommend going during the week day or after school starts, there were a lot of people..

Fahad Aqeel

How amazing is this place!??! Absolutely love the vastness of Yellowstone. The trails, the attractions, the wildlife. Went on October 22 for about 4 days. Stayed in West Yellowstone and seemed like everything was starting to close for the season. But still was able to get meals and supplies. The weather wasn't terrible. Cold and snow flurries were nice and also not a lot of people.

Jacob

What a beautiful place! Absolutely recommend. Be aware that the park is huge and the sights are very far apart, so prepare to spend all day driving through the park.

Jon Pulley

Grizzlies, foxes, elk, bison, beauty. What's not to like about Yellowstone! All from the back of a Harley, priceless!

Brynlee Chynoweth

Amazing... Amazing... Amazing, I just can't even, this is so dearly beautiful, there are so many animals, camp site, hikes and so much more! I so encourage you to go!

Jeremy D

The most amazing National Park I have visited. It's like ten different parks in one. Come early or go in late. The crowds are real. Traffic is always a issue.

yash patel

Excellent park with tons of wildlife some of which was very easy to spot! Be prepared with food supply as the options within the park are limited and there are super long lines.

Lorinda Hansen

Its a beautiful national treasure. If you have not been, make sure you do at some point!

Cameron Colby

Highly recommend late October for cool temps and excellent wildlife viewing. Some species are migrating, there are ZERO crowds, and the experience feels more natural.

Rob Salamon

The one star reviews left for the park are entertaining to read, but I couldn't do that. Absolutely love it here

Amy Medina

The absolute best trip of my life. Please go if you can!

Amber Sliger

No words can describe how amazing Yellowstone National Park is during the winter. The most beautiful snow covered trees are just the start. From bison to bald eagles and so much in between, the wildlife you can see is absolutely wonderful!

Breezy S.

Go in the Fall! The colors were super pretty especially the rust colored grass. Even some of the algae/bacteria in the hot water changes color with the season. The amount of people was also more manageable at this time of year. There was …

Nik Roberts

Incredible landscapes however virtually no wildlife anywhere to be seen, unfortunately.

Ross Tanner Curry

Yellowstone National Park was very beautiful and scenic with lots of things to do. Yellowstone has everything from Wildlife to waterfalls to hiking trails to mountains to beautiful rock formations to geysers. We would highly recommend going there if you love adventure and seeing lots of nature. A good tip is to bring lots of water with you and maybe some toilet paper too, since some of the vault toilets were out of toilet paper and hand sanitizer. It is not uncommon to see bison crossing the roads, so make sure you allot for extra driving time.

Chris Mancha

Nice to get be around all that nature but wow I think everyone was thinking the same thing. Every spot to see something was packed. The bigger more well known items such as old Faithful and the grand prismatic springs were painful to find parking. Still a beautiful park.

Morgan Greenway

Nowhere else on earth like Yellowstone. INCREDIBLE!!! Busy place, but that should be expected. Please be patient and kind to all visitors and give the animals their space. Their survival depends on this. Take some time to really observe the wildlife and your surroundings. Also highly recommend the Gypsy app for a custom tour as you drive. Worth 3 times the money spent.

David Turko

A great park to visit in the winter, only the north entrance is open and continues thru to Cooke City and goes along side Lamar Valley. The animals have the best looking coats this time of year and the park is less crowded.

niraj suri

This is by far one of the most beautiful and unique places in America. All national parks have their own thing but none as much as Yellowstone. It definitely takes at least 2 days to cover all the important sites.

Heather

Just wow!!! Worth it. Have to go back. It’s so much to see and I was only in the WY portion!! If you get the chance, go!

Carole Murray

Spent a week here and still have parts of the park I would like to see. Will just have to come back again!

Nick Banks

Unfortunately Covid restrictions had things closing earlier (stores/food/visitor centers) but everything else was beautiful.

Jorge Gonzalez

If you don't give Yellowstone 5 stars then you had your eyes closed. It exceeded my expectations and more. 4 full days was not enough. I'm going back as soon as I can afford it.

eric swelland

Beautiful sites. Wildlife and nature at its finest. Get an early start around 6:30 to beat the crowds. Plan for about 4 days to see best attractions. Highly reccomend.

Rouaa Alhomsi

We had the best time over there you have to stay at least a week to see everything I absolutely love the yellow stone ????

Eric Mccraney

Great place to visit. Make sure to account for the drive time to the different sites. Bring a lot of snacks and patience due to the crowds.

Megan Liddiard

An amazing national park. Super unique and interesting features that you can’t see anywhere else. Get yourself to Yellowstone!

Kyle S

Amazing park! The popular places get a little busy mid day. But early mornings are amazing.

Akshay Jawharkar

DO NOT MISS THIS!! I can not recommend this place enough. It's worth the drive to simply go visit on your trip to Yellowstone to see bears just walking around in a drive through park. The park as a whole is well maintained and it's a treat to watch the bears (mostly) free on their surroundings. You can drive through the park as many times as you want. Don't forget to go watch the cubs feeding (through the gift shop) and playing in their little pen.

William WhiteWill Smith

This place was really neat, it's almost like the other side of the moon in some sense. Check out my video of the bison walking down the road. It's a way better video than the one that went viral, well other than the commentary.

Barry Lovato

This is the most awesome place. A definite must-see. There are so many things to see and so many places to go. I would highly recommend Yellowstone National Park to everyone.

Giovanna

The most surreal and amazing place in the world. The huckleberry icecream is fantastic and the wildlife is so beautiful. We saw one moose, one wolve, many deer and bison. Even one herd of bison galloped beside our car. The most overwhelmingly beautiful springs and geysers. Park rangers are nice and helpful and there lakes and hiking trails are so pretty! Would die to live there!!! Can't wait to visit again soon!

Kathrynne Wills

One of my favorite National Parks! This was my third time here, and I know I will definitely be back. A must see!

Thurston Edwards

So many sights to see...one of the most beautiful places in the world. Definitely, a place everyone needs to visit in their lifetime.

Marek Counts

Pretty much no other place like it. Overly crowed when I went, and the food/facilities inside the park where horrible. Other then that easily worth the 35 dollar week pass just to drive, that being said my favorite places where the grand canyon, Lamar valley and the hidden falls.

UWA Calamity

This place was so good! At night 4-9 thats when the deers and bisons come out there are also bears, elks, wolfs, mountain lions and a lot other types of animals to see the place is great for fishing, hiking, swimming on some places. 10/10 recommend place for active tourists!

Brian Kramer

Yellowstone National Park ???? has been on my bucket list for years, and finally checked it off the list this year. ???????????????? I have no idea why I waited so long, because it was SO much better than I ever imagined We saw Bison????, Moose, Wolves????, Elk???? and many other animals. The mountains ???? were unlike any place I’ve seen. ⛺️???? ???????????????? It’s just amazing to hear the history about the creation of the first National Park ????. I cannot imagine what it would be like if that land had not been protected for future generations.⛰????????

Jessica Holmes

An incredible experience, so much to see and experience. The kiddos loved seeing all the different wildlife. We even got to eat dinner outside in the presence of grazing elk. How neat!

N Y

This place is so AMAZING!!!! We went during August and the weather was fantastic. There are wild animals such as buffalo and deer, and if you're lucky you can see a bear. The nature is so beautiful and it's very breathtaking to see how much …

Brigene

Loved it can't wait to go back, but NOT in July. Need at least several days to scratch the surface. Too crowded in summer. Don't bring your dog. Be patient. Bucket list must!

Michael Barreca

The park was awesome we heard wolves saw elk rutting and moose running... The bison are so impressive Advice if you see people pulled over.... pull over there is something to see. We loved the pools and gas pockets the geysers were amazing. Camping can be crowded but the park staff are awesome.

LONE WOLF

It was so beautiful and amazing! I was kind of hoping that old faithful would be a little more explosive but it was still beautiful and amazing! The elk, and buffalo where beautiful, I will definitely go again!!

Mudit Marwaha

Beautiful Park, totally worth coming. Arguably the best national park in the U.S. Definitely recommend checking out the Geysers (Old Faithful, Norris Geyser Basin) and taking the natural trails. Lodges inside the park are very nice, they both surround you in nature and provide the facilities you need to live there.

Patricia Riley Odone

Our favorite park! Do as much as possible! If time drive to see Grand Tetons too...stunning!!

Drake Lynn

Amazing park. I had so much fun here.

Shreya Gupta

Absolutely beautiful. I would say the most beautiful sight I've ever seen. There are geyer basins, hot springs, grand canyon with waterfall & gorge views.

Khadijah Thomas

Sooo beautiful! The park you need to plan for at least 3 days to really see a large portion of it. It’s so massive and beautiful but a day trip does not cut it. I’d recommend staying near here and that would give you the opportunity to really experience Yellowstone. I had the chance to see a man get charged by an elk bc he wasn’t observing the rules of the park and the advise of the park rangers. The elk almost gutted him completely! I saw elk, bison, big horn sheep, video of wolves eating a bison from another person there. It was seriously some National Geographic stuff. Seriously! No bears captured by me tdy, but we didn’t have enough time to to go to Lamar valley, that’s were all the bears, wolves, and bison where spotted that day. Well worth the drive and i look forward to coming back!

As Wi

Possibly my favorite national park of all time! Yellowstone is even more beautiful that the photos allow for. I miss morning coffee & available coffee pots, water boilers, and mugs in the national park hotels. For the amount you pay for the rooms, they could give you one for free and still be making a killing off of the rooms.

Jeff Sharpton

Nice drive through the park early September and no traffic. Didn’t see much wildlife but this guy was just ambling along the road.

Ann Martin

Spectacular! So much to see it takes several trips. However, way too busy and not enough room for everyone.

Matt De Witt

Hello! It's Yellowstone! So much beauty in this park... It takes several days to explore even the biggest, popular areas of Yellowstone. Doing any back country hiking or fishing will require more time to really so it justice.

Alexandra Lotze

This is an amazing park! So many different things to explore. You have the gel-thermal attractions which are spectacular. Old faithful is very cool, but busy near that area, for good reason. I highly recommend checking out the painted pots and other geo-thermal areas. You also have the falls which are impressive. Several places to check out those. Camping near the lake is beautiful. It is within walking distance of the marine and just stunning. Hayden valley is a good place to stop and look for wildlife. I recommend getting up early to go look at wildlife there or later in the evening. Definitely need to plan a few days for a visit. Plenty of things to see and do.

Max F.

Really beautiful but they seriously need passing lanes to move people along. Bring binoculars and a lot of patience. Upper Yellowstone was my favorite area.

Shashwat

This is an absolute must for all to see and visit if possible. Yellowstone National Park is in three states (Wyoming, Montana and Idaho). It's the oldest national park in the United States. Everything I saw was absolutely beautiful and stunning. Some amazing views of mountains, rivers, waterfalls, and of course, geysers and springs. We visited Grand Teton the previous day, and we both thought it was a little more scenic. That's not a knock on Yellowstone, it is beautiful, but eventually there are only so many geysers you can see before it starts to get a little boring. It was also much more crowded than Grand Teton. I would definitely still recommend it, but maybe research and plan exactly what you want to see to avoid unnecessary diversions. A lot of travel sites say you need 2 or 3 days to see everything, but we saw almost all the major sites in just 1. If you really want to see EVERY attraction in detail. then you might need a second day.

Dzmitry Mik

WONDERFUL!!! I am in love with this National Park! Every step you make there brings you relaxation and healing. Mother Nature is unique and it shows its beauty to those who keep open the heart and mind. Yellowstone National Park is perfect place to practice meditation and to learn sacred wisdom of the past. There are a lot Wild animals there. You can find place even to swim in the river and enjoy minerals and micro elements directly from Nature, but be aware not all pools and river shores are safe and good for swimming. Take the maps of the park at the gate entrance and enjoy your journey. Be ready to explore wild nature. Please do not harm animals and creatures - they are unique and rear so be kind and share your love with them. Thank you ????

Erika Caceres

I just went to yellowstone this past weekend and I am not disappointed. It is definitely a must on your bucket list. It is incredibly beautiful during the winter time. I highly recommend!

Ken Chen

Beautiful place. will come back again and again. but not in August. too many people and too much smog

Ashley Heether

Stunning views. Very relaxing. A lot to take in so take a few days to take in all there is to see.

Gennalyn D Christian

Overall, the place was amazing, clear running water from the river, geyser everywhere, beautiful falls, and Mount Rushmore. Don’t expect massive animals in this place. We saw bison from a far, no moose (maybe they are hiding). I recommend to bring binocular. And extra clothes because the geyser stinks and your clothes might absorb the odor.

Craig Hanus

Went out of season - Old Faithful was fun - but the traffic really sucks. Could be from an animal - or an accident. Be prepared to sit and wait trying to enter/leave the park.

Stefan Tobler

Beautiful park that has everything you need to have a great time. The rangers are kind and more than willing to help you out. The general stores have anything you may have forgotten and the campgrounds are clean! Be sure not to forget your binoculars!

Lebu Ayiga

This park is just amazingly beautiful and it is hard to pick my favorite pictures to post! I am starting here with some from the East Entrance from where we entered the park during our stay. The East Entrance to the park is one of the most scenic and spacious and it gets you to the Yellowstone Lake! We stayed at the Pahaska Tepee Resort right at the entrance in a beautiful cabin. Few suggestions when you are ready to visit and explore Yellowstone: ~ book your stay in advance ~ try to book near the entrances as it is cheaper than in the park ~ buy bear spray first thing when entering Wyoming for about $50 ~ study the park map and grab one from the place you are staying or at the entrance ~ have printed materials for your drive in the park or the map as there is no WiFi and no service anyway around the park ~ bring walkie talkies for communication On our 1st day at the park we explored: ~ Old Faithful and the area ~ Grand Prismatic Spring ~ hiked to Fairy Falls ~ Grand Canyon of Yellowstone

Cindy Reyes-Cortes

Absolutely breathtaking! I highly recommend taking trails instead of just parking. There were so many great things to see that we would've missed if we only had stayed in the car or walked up the main trail. We later found out that the bison in the back country are a lot more dangerous than the ones close to the roads - don't get too close them like we did.

angel Ck

Amazing views. It's a beautiful park with plenty of trails. Definitely take plenty of water, use bug spray while on trails and sun block. Traffic and parking is a little frustrating, you just have to get into the park early before 8am.

A must see! This park has so much beauty all over, it's overwhelmingly beautiful. From gorgeous natural formations to wildlife, this park has it all.

David Souders

Love visiting Yellowstone. The rangers are friendly and knowledgeable. There is so much to see and do, it's hard to fit it all in to just a couple of days.

Connie D

Mather Nature never fails to impress! Bucket list ✅ We went on Aug. 4th which was Great American Outdoors Day/National Parks holiday, so there was no entrance fee????Otherwise, it’s $35 for a private non-commercial vehicle. We went late afternoon (5pm)so it wasn’t too hot and we had an amazing time. In hindsight, that was a little late, because it was really dark when we got to the Old Faithful Geyser to be able to see its eruption clearly. We entered at the West entrance and ended at the Old Faithful Geyser by 11pm. Yes, it was dark when we got there but there were still a lot of people waiting for it to “put on a show.” The park wasn’t very crowded since it was also a weekday. We were able to take our time to admire its beauty and take pictures. We were in indescribable awe as we saw the first geyser and pool. Geysers are like fountains of awesome????and pools look so clear with beautiful colors and boiling ???? So many geysers and pools!!! Such picturesque view!!! The Grand Prismatic Spring and Old Faithful Geyser are the stars of the show in my opinion. The whole park is astounding! I can write about this place all day because the adjectives to describe this place are endless. Just follow the road and it will lead you from one area of awesome pools and geysers to the next. You can’t get lost cause there are signs. You have to hike to the viewpoint for the Grand Prismatic Spring to be able to appreciate its magnificence and beauty. It’s a very gradual uphill, unpaved but smooth. You have to see this for yourself. We didn’t want to leave. Even though it was dark to appreciate the Old Faithful Geyser’s show but people brought flashlights ???? and everyone clapped after it erupted. We waited for about 30 mins for it to erupt but it was so much worthwhile since the show was spectacular! We enjoyed the beautiful clear sky and stars. The sky itself put on a show! We saw a few falling stars while waiting????. There was a deck surrounding the geyser with a lot of benches comfortable enough to lay on it to stargaze. The temperature dropped to the 60’s at night so be prepared and bring sweaters. I was overflowing with so much awe that I went to bed smiling that night and still smiling while writing this review or just thinking about this place!????

Chandani Singh Mahato

Nature is incredible. Me and my husband loved this place and had great summer vacation experience ????

Linh Clark

Beyond beautifully. The place is amazing and so many hot springs. Summer is supper busy tho. So booking your hotel and tour guide in advance to have better experience when you are here. We left hotel before the park open, so there was less ppl on the road and plenty of parking, if you go later in the day the traffic is horrible.

Tyler Kinert

Yellowstone is unlike anything you've ever seen before in your life. The rocks, geysers and geothermal features... it's just all so amazing. If you take the time and actually spend a few days in the park, you'll find all sorts of beautiful things and really fall in love with this land. There is a reason why this was the FIRST National Park.

Sarwar Kazi

Amazing place to visit! Specially loved Lamar Valley and Hayden Valley.

Vicky Suarez

This is a Magical place where you reconnected with Mother Nature and with your essence. On top of everything the people who lived there is extremely nice and helpful. The park is very accessible for wheelchair.

Nathaniel Justice

It will take you more than a day to cover everything. There is so much to see, pictures to take, and memories to last a lifetime!!

Gloia flores

I was there for vacation with my family and we’re having an incredible time there is a lot of places to go and have fun and the views and are beautiful.

Marlene Zimmerman

This park is beautiful! Many different things to see…old faithful, hot springs and mud pots plus mountains all around! Also saw lots of animals… Buffalo, elk, goats and pronghorns…. Very interesting! Of course it’s packed with tourists from all over the states but still worth the stop!!

Jeremy Bolt

Yellowstone is hands down the best National Park that we have ever visited! It’s a true national treasure. Each day was filled different adventures and breathe taking views! We saw bears, elk, buffalos and multiple geysers! Old faithful didn’t disappoint!

Jodie Turmell

This 1st national park is pure magic. Of course the high tourist spots are nothing short of amazing and will take your breath away but it's totally worth it to Spend at least a few days to uncover some places on the less beaten path. Girls 4 and 8 years couldn't get enough of it!! It helps there's almost no service to really unplug and soak it in.

Ryan Lewandowski

Nation's first NP so I can't be too harsh, but the crowds during the peak months are unbearable. Yellowstone could benefit from limiting entrants or managing traffic in some way. Plenty of things to see in every corner of the park. Try to get in early (5-6 am) for best chance to see wildlife and avoid traffic.

Brad Norris

The park, wildlife, and nature are out of this world. The traffic you will sit in for hours to get to these things is not. Plan well, stay in the park, go very early to major sites.

Angela Plimpton

Otherworldly beauty. So many animals to see. You could stay a week and still not see everything.

Larry Yochum

Such a beautiful park. If you want to see the different unique natural features in this huge park and avoid crowds, start early. We enjoyed good parking and quiet walking before 8am. Some features are repetitive. Start your time with major sights in the morning and then hit the random gems around. There are two wildlife loops in stunning valleys. There are some great campgrounds. Grant Village gives you access to Yellowstone and to Grand Tetons which is 30-40 miles south. So much to see ando!

Ziggy Stardust

My favorite National Park so far. It’s so unique and beautiful. Plus very friendly for people who cannot hike difficult trails/paths or need assistance.

Chris Martinez

Another masterpiece crafted by nature. Most of the best attractions are a easy walking distance. You dont need to be an athlete to hike Yellowstone.

Tina Nguyen

Hello everyone - it's Yellowstone National Park!!! There's so many sides to Nature to see in this park... It's a must see for everyone. I visited this place on September/6/2021. Yellowstone has numerous recreational opportunities for enjoyment, education, and inspiration for all ages. It includes hiking, camping, boating, fishing, and especially SIGHTSEEING! There are wildlife, geysers, waterfalls, colorful hot springs, canyons, lakes, and mountains to see. Everything you heard about this park is true. The Old Faithful eruptions are a very interesting experience and a crowded tourist trap as well. As I walked alongside various geyser and hot springs it made me feel like a little kid again. The West Thumb Geyser Basin Trail is a mile walk and it’s absolutely amazing. Its actually just a quick walk and it's definitely very cool to see all these sights and how they all look so different! Grand Prismatic Hot Spring is a 1.6 mile hike, yet it’s an amazing scenic walk with stunning views from the overlook, which covers 4 colored pools. The Grand Canyon of Yellowstone is a great experience, and one of the most beautiful places in Yellowstone especially during sunset. Truly nature at its most Beautiful. As it's much too big to see it all for the first time, I will have to go again a few more times as it is definitely so worth the effort!!!

Jordan Cron

Go here as many times as you can and you still won't get enough of it. This has to be one of the most beautiful places on this planet.

ShonnaLee Rogers

What a majestic area! Old Faithful was faithful, beautiful waterfalls.

Danay López

Is an spectacular experience..you will feel in love ❣️ with the view.. too many colors.. too much thing to see..to learn..the fresh air is delicious and refreshing..I promise to you.. you will forget the madness of the traffic. the noise of the city .. you will feel in another world ..

María Glez

There's a lot of things that I could say about this beautiful place, you can easily feel connected with the nature, and for at least you should stay 4 plenty days. If you arrive after 11am and before 1.30 pm in the west entrance, it will be traffic jam, I didn't like that if the people see any animal in the way(even if they are far away) , they decide to stop and they make such a vial caos, they shouldn't do that, we wasted a lot of time waiting. If you go for a hike, it is complicated to know the spots, the staff has to place more and bigger signs. The facilities are perfect, restrooms and stores are just fine, a little bit expensive. be careful with the geysers and the wildlife, you can get hurt.

Mmustangg Ggnatsumm

Its Yellowstone! If you can't enjoy this place, you probably don't like puppies and kittens! This is Mother Nature at her finest! Ignore the crowds at peak season. But if you can't, you'll still have fun!

Monique Coulson

I can completely understand why so many people visit this national park every year. For our cross country adventure this park came in third out of 11 for me and second out of 11 for my husband. There is so much to see we were able to fill early morning starts all the way to pulling back in to our cabin at some time past 10:00 at night. We spent two full days exploring and we drove both of the major loops. The only drawback for me was just how heavily populated every space was that we went to. I expected it at places like Old Faithful and some of the others like the grand prismatic but it was actually difficult to not be around people unless you were out in the middle of the Lamar or Hayden valley. At least there you could see lots of wildlife including huge herds of bison! The hardest part for us was that in those large groups next to nobody masked and we have two children who do to their age or not yet vaccinated. We just took our own precautions and whenever we had to hike or be in areas that were impossible to stay apart from other people we made sure the kids masked. Yellowstone is definitely a national park that I would like to go back to again in the future!

mike weeks

Was only able to see the south eastern side of this park. Spent 4 hours driving just to get thru so it’s huge!!! Take your time everyone else does. People will literally block the entire road to see a bear 300 yards up the draw!!! Ridiculous!!!

Rebecca Bradbury

America's first national park and one of the best! All of the most gorgeous scenes are easily accessible by boardwalk or just a few feet from your car. Such a variety of landscapes, flora, and fauna. A must visit!

devon webb

Amazing experience! It will take your breath away! (Because of the elevation, but also the endless vistas) we visited the lake, yellowstone river, Lamar valley, the hot springs, went swimming, witnessed the geiser and more. You can't beat it.

Renn

What can you say other than, you should go? It was astounding to see everything here. The sights, the volcanic activity, the abundance of wild life. However expect to see some regular human stupidity while your there. Please don't get out of your car to take pictures of the wild life! Saw someone get charged by a Bison, and some Bison RV damage as well. Children reaching for the hot spring water ( these pools can reach go over 200+ degrees fahrenheit. ), People using sticks to write works in bacterial forests. ect. In the end Yellowstone is habitat for wildlife and is a pride of the United States. Please be respectful and stay safe!! You'll have a great time hiking, and enjoying the sights. I'd love to eventually go back when the swimming rivers are open but that'll have to wait ???? If your hiking make sure to bring bearspray. You never know ????

casey clayton

ABSOLUTELY BREATHTAKING! My favorite National Park!!

Tieg Summers

Wow, is this place real? I entered the park at the west entrance and it worked out great as we went south to make our way to grand teton. There was some traffic getting into the park and all the attractions required a line to get to a parking spot. I was in shock at what I saw and had no clue what I was getting myself into. We only spend 1/2 a day here and only got to see about 1/8 of the park. We saw the grand prismatic and old faithful. The grand prismatic was beautiful up close and did not require a climb to get a great picture. I can't believe I got to see mud boiling. It gets a little toasty at the hot springs to keep you warm on a cool day.

Ashley Walker

So beautiful with all the snow. It was so cold though!

Patricia Gamble

What a beautiful and amazing park

Kim V.

A trip you MUST make at least once in your life. This park is beautiful with so much to see and do. I can’t wait until I’m able to return .

Wuliao Hao

Yellowstone is the best national parks I have ever been to. Also it’s the oldest national park all over the world. It has both beautiful scenery and wildlife observation. It is full of history and variety. Also it attracts geometry and biology lovers because of its special landscape above a super volcano. It worth to be visited for more than one time, and in different seasons. Summer is the busiest and winter is popular too. This year the roads between Roosevelt tower and canyon village is closed due to construction and it will be closed until May 2022.

Mark Bobb

Beautiful park. The Lords creation is amazing. Traffic was horrible. So I suggest early entrance to help getting out in less than an hour.

Kim Forster

BEAUTIFUL BEAUTIFUL BEAUTIFUL. Saw elk, moose, and Buffalo. Maybe next time we'll get to see the Wolves and bears!

David Kislyanka

Such an amazing place! The scenes, the animals, the birds, and the natural phenomena, all overlap one another creating a wonderfully pleasant picture. Everywhere I looked I couldn't help but simultaneously look to God in the same moment and praise him for his wonderful glory, some of which God had expressed through his awesome creation. I would definitely recommend you visit this place if you have the opportunity!

Manoj Nayak

As one of America's well known National Parks, it was busier than most, but well worth the wait! Be sure you have time to dedicate if you'd like to visit the several locations along the route!

Shelah E.B.

It’s definitely worth a trip even a long ride. The views are gorgeous and being able to find bisons, elks and other animals while driving was very exciting. Best time to visit for me is end of Sept or early Oct, not too many tourist, weather is moderate and not too hot. You can enjoy and see a lot of things in minimum of 2days

Freedom Seeker

It’s Yellowstone! Go and be thrilled at old Faithful!!! See the many water falls and more! This is our nations first National Park which inspired other nations to do the same. Go. Old Faithful in person is magical. You’ll feel like a kid again. From west Yellowstone stay to the right lane going in if you have prepaid or have an access pass.

Hussain Alkinani

It’s simply an amazing park! Make sure you familiarize yourself with the map as much as possible. No internet connection at all. You might need to download offline google maps to help you navigate your way. Also, try to get in the park super early in the morning, it gets packed so quickly. Enjoy Mother Nature!

Daddykirbs Farm - A Homesteading Story

How can you not give 5 stars to one of the greatest locations on Earth? This place is so amazing. There's so much to see that is really breath taking. I would encourage you to take your time to sit at some of these beautiful places and just soak it in. Find a place to let the spray of a waterfall cool you down, put your feet in the water, sit in the breeze overlooking the prairie with free American Bison.

mike d

Fabulous park to visit. We really enjoyed all of the well-know sites in the caldera area, but make sure to spend time in Hayden and Lamar valleys and Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone areas. Incredible hiking, mountain lakes, and wildlife!

Kerri Johns

If you go to Wyoming, be sure to visit America's first National Park. So much to see in one location. Views are spectacular. Know that you will have to drive and walk to see all the amazing sights. Don't forget your camera

Leah Taylor

Already thinking about the next time I get to visit! Even though it was busy, the park is so organized we still loved it! Get a map and plan your day before you go. If you want to see steam, go early!

Michael Sean Christensen

Oh man. The scenery is amazing. The wildlife is top notch. That said, the crowds this summer... ugh. Unless you're at the gate at 6-7am don't count on seeing much more than Old Faithful and Grand Prismatic for the entire day. The lines were crazy for both. Once you head east of Mammoth Springs toward the Lamar Valley things get much better. It also doesn't that the Tower Road is closed forcing all traffic to congest in Mammoth. Maybe by next summer they will have it open to help.

Ty DeFilippis

First time visiting since moving back to Montana in 2014. This National Park does not disappoint, I truly enjoyed all its beauty I was able to take in in 2 days. I will return on my motorcycle ???? which was supposed to be done this time but due to mechanical complications it was not. I had an awesome ???? experience and highly recommend it. There are so many things to do in this vast nature playground. Thanks be to God, so blessed????

annie

this park is by far one of the best i’ve been to. although there are a lot of people at times, you’ll still be able to find parking. the wildlife everywhere is super cool since they can get right next to your car sometimes (lemar valley). the food and items in most general stores isn’t too pricy either and i think the souvenirs are worth it. but, my favorite time of day was sunset where everything in the park had this golden glow to it and it was just mesmerizing honestly.

janice tabios

Life changing experience. I love nature.

Nanda Sundri

I wish I came her earlier. What a spectacular show of Mother Nature!! A great place for hiking, photography and animal observation.

Alyssa

One of the best trips I've ever gone on in the USA. It was definitely a trip of a lifetime. The wildlife and scenery there were breathtaking. Simply awesome. The park rangers were careful enough not to let you get hurt, but lenient enough to let you take in the beauty of the bison. Trip will be positively engraved in my memory forever❤❤

Nikolai Lesak

Very beautiful, I loved visiting here and would probably visit again. I love the tall mountains all the wildlife, the scenery, and of course old faithful. Though I did have to wait about an hour for it to happen it was pretty amazing, I went to the hot springs and I also got to swim in the river. It was pretty good but it was nice after a long day of hiking. Would recommend coming here if you would like to see a huge open national forest, it's a surreal experience for sure!

Alex Durfee

We had an incredible experience. Saw so much wildlife and the crowd was not as busy as the summer. The weather was beautiful and the mountains did not disappoint. Don't be afraid to drive. We drove for 8 hours to see some of the more remote places and it was well worth it.

Adrian Back

Just a amazing place to visit. Some many beautiful things to see in one location. Felt like I was in a National Geographic film.

Chad Stokes

Amazing place. Make sure and get your prepaid pass to get in the fast lane. Take your time and enjoy. To see all the park you need to plan 4 solid days.

Tim Brown

Stunning! This really is a must-do destination. Don't blame the park for the crowds. My suggestion is to go in the afternoon. Still crowded, but a bit more manageable.

Amedz Traveller

I love the surroundings, recommendable

Nick Jones

Yellowstone was all around amazing! Go to the Upper and Lower Falls!

Jo Sittig

We planned for 2 1/2 days in the park. Our first full day, we drive 200 miles round trip and didn't leave the park!! Absolutely beautiful at every turn. I would recommend purchasing an app called GypsyGuide. $14.99 for Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks. Download before you go, and it only works inside the park. We might have missed several great stops!. If you like to hike, i would recommend a few more days in the park

Kent Cypert

How could you not love Yellowstone. Yes it’s super crowded and tons of people and you have to circle parking lots forever but once you get in there and look at those dang Hot Springs it’s amazing.

Michelle Burch

Amazing. An other worldly experience. The park does a great job to provide easy access to some of the world's most fascinating features. I can't wait to go back.

Sean Malowney

Incredible geology in action.. truly a unique place on Earth!

Mike L

Great views at the Grand canyon of Yellowstone. I recommend artist's point and the hike along the south rim. Very crowded at Grand Prismatic Spring, traffic backs up on the main road outside the entrance. Try the Fairy Falls Trail lot and do the mile hike to the viewing platform for the best view of GP. Avoid it if it's cold out and there's no breeze, as steam will obscure your view.

LouEllen Opat

If you enjoy outdoors no matter what level of outdoors experience you have this is the place for you. Make sure you plan ahead. There are long lines and the traffic is terrible but everyone should see this at least once. Down load the apt it will tell you about road closure.

Tim P.

How could this not be a five star!?! National treasure!! Do Lamar valley in the evening, and drive the whole way back to Gardiner that night, we saw lots of bears, bison, elk etc. Canyon is beautiful for the rainbow in the morning. The thermal features smell bad enough to make the kids complain, which is really not that bad. Best food in the park is at canyon or in your cooler, unless you have reservations for the stagecoach dinner.

Keegan M

Absolutely beautiful and expansive. The mountains, animals, geysers, were all very cool to see.

Sabrina Gutierrez

After visiting many beautiful places around the world “” THIS IS THE MOST MAGICAL” place I’ve ever seen. If you ever have the opportunity to visit Yellow Stone National Park give yourself a gift. If you happen to have kids any age, take them with you.

Summer Castro

Absolutely gorgeous views here. While we were driving in we were greeted by some buffalo. We were able to see Old Faithful do her thing, which was amazing to watch. Definitely check out the grand canyon of Yellowstone as well. We went the 2nd week of April and a lot of stuff was still closed off due to so much snow. Would definitely come back when it's a bit warmer out.

Ahmedullah Aziz

Outstanding experience. One of the most beautiful national parks in the USA.

Samantha Marchand-Katzler

What a amazing trip, Kayaking to West Thumb, Mt biked to Natural Bridge and Grand Prismatic, saw so many amazing sites, Old Faithful didn't disappoint, can't wait to plan a winter visit.

Rafael Gonzalez

This place is God's country, extremely beautiful. There are a lot of places too pull off on my semi right by the river. The water was cold but the weather was awesome.

David Jones

Seen bears, bison, and elk... fishing was excellent

Sally X

It's so beautiful here. I like it very much.

Dan Brownsword

So many things to do in one park! Plan on staying for more than a couple days if you want to see most of it. The hikes to the waterfalls are beautiful, the geysers are impressive, and the wildlife are everywhere!

Jacqui Sullivan

This is one of my favorite national parks. It's so big and absolutely breathtaking. We camped in a first come camp ground and it was so quiet and lovely. The park rangers are so helpful and it's pretty easy to get around the park by car.

Richard Oehler, Jr

Animals, geysers, waterfalls, mountains. Everything you heard is true. I love coming during the shoulder season (May and September) to avoid the crowds. You could easily spend a week here and still not see the whole park.

Brian J

Went to Yellowstone a few days ago and had the experience of a lifetime! Went to go see Old Faithful and truly wasn’t disappointed. Arrived just in time for the eruption and it was incredible. Water shot up probably a hundred feet or so into the air. The visitor center there is truly nice and is something you’ve got to experience. Bought the America The Beautiful pass while we were here so I can visit over 2,000 national parks and federal land without paying a entrance fee. Unfortunately only got to spend a few hours at Yellowstone, but I’d highly recommend coming and visiting here. We stayed in Cooke City and it truly is a lovely place. Would recommend Bear Tooth Cafe to eat. As for Yellowstone I’d recommend setting aside a few days to truly experience the park as there is so much to see and do.

Amanda Rechsteiner

Yellowstone is an unforgettable experience. Make sure you dedicate a few days to get the full experience out of this park if possible. It’s huge and there’s so much to do! The rangers were incredible, so nice, and clearly love their jobs there. All of the wildlife is awesome. We got to see lots of elk and bison up close. So grateful for these memories.

Rahil Arora

This national park offers such a diverse scenic views!

Sarah Sapp

Super neat experience! Apparently the west gate is the busiest though. Wish we could've seen a grizzly and wolves, but loved seeing the views and the animals! It snowed our first day there, beautiful!!

Gaurav Hegde

One of the best National Parks in the United States. You get a whole range if you visit here , right from the natural geysers to the beautiful bisons , lovely elks , mammoth hot springs to a grizly bear if you are lucky. Do not give this National park a miss!!

Brian B

My family traveled here on a vacation , we were impressed with the sights and all the nature that surrounded us! Of course, we all liked the sight of the geysers and hot springs, but, we loved seeing the Grizzly bear cubs and two Grey wolf sightings! Amazing! So many things to see and it's spread out over many miles of untouched forest and mountainous area. It's impossible to see and experience most of it unless you have at least a week to devote to the park. Highly recommend to visit and see America's first National Park!

Vanessa Gonzalez

Lived there for a month it was very beautiful

Alkamatus

How could you not enjoy such an amazing place, but word to the wise... make sure everyone snacks and eats properly, that can turn sour real quick... Got waaay to close to a huge herd of buffalo that decided to take over the road saw elk and old faithful, an all rounder trip to the key highlights that took us about 8 hours. The food at old faithful is pretty good and the gift shop is an obvious stop located right next to it. Make Yellowstone one of your must do vacations and you wont regret it, just remember the food thing, and water too...

John Phillips

Super neat change of scenery. Excellent shopping, camping, trails, and an all around great experience.

Bharath Bharadwaj

Huge and out of the world! Yellowstone is such a unique national park just because of the sheer vastness and all the interesting formations and features that nature continues to create with the various minerals and other elements! The presence os wildlife is such a contrast after looking at the hot springs and other minerals that continue to arise from within the ground. The lush greenery during sunny days, numerous waterfalls, rivers, streams and lake Yellowstone give the park much beauty! This national park is literally so active that we can see mud volcanoes, steam and boiling sulphuric acid always erupting from the ground right in front of us! There are not enough words to describe Yellowstone, it can only be experienced by visiting the park.

Catakang Games

I wasn't able to fully explore the park, but I had a blast in the parts I did explore. Everything was absolutely amazing. Here are some tips: Download yellowstone with Google maps. It will make life a lot easier. Come really early or really late to skip the crowds. Oh, as of writing there is a wolf den somewhere around Slough Creek. I saw part of a wolf in one of the pull-outs through binoculars. Going there is probably your best chance at seeing a wolf. Go to old faithful around 4:30-5:00 for good parking. Once again, this park was amazing and I highly recommend coming here.

Abishek vaidya

Amazing national park, a must visit. Recommend at least 3-4 days inside the national park. They have few campgrounds and hotels. And can be reserved online. Would recommend renting an RV or VAN camper and camping out in campgrounds. Also visit the nearby grand Tetons.

A.C. Antonelli

There she is. The one that started it all. The nation's original, iconic, and unbelievably breathtaking Yellowstone National Park. With seemingly endless trails to explore for all experience levels, some of the best maintained visitor centers and campgrounds of the entire National Parks Service, and surprisingly accessible views of some of the most inspiring natural wonders the country has to offer... you'll want to take your time, and you'll want to come back again and again.

Matty Buckets

Grand Prismatic Spring is pretty neat and a must see if you go to Yellowstone. Parking is bad, though. I'd start your day with this, then hit Old Faithful.

Robert Belfield

Really beautiful, but crowded. Enjoyed walking thru the geyser basin and the "Mini Grand Canyon.

Ali B

First time here. This place was incredible. Wish we would have had more time to explore, but another reason to go back! Loved the scenery, the wild animals, it was absolutely beautiful!

Erwin Nanasi

Absolutely love this national park and highly recommend it. Excellent for the entire family! You see a lot of wildlife and wonderful untainted nature. Go!!!

YF G

Best national park to spot wild animals!Saw so many animals in only three days. Rangers are very nice. Hope all wild animals can be protected as in yellowstone.

Ben Klenke

The most beautiful place on Earth. Words and pictures can't describe it. See it for yourself and make sure to plan multiple days so you aren't rushing,

Kristie

Absolutely amazing! End of September and beginning of October. Wear layers of clothing, might be a little cold. Bring coolers full of food and water. Nearby horseback riding (Absolutely amazing view) so many wild animals migrating around that time of year...We saw Grizzlies, Elk, Deer, Bison, Pronghorn, fox, several different birds and much more!

Osman Cruz

I don't know where to start reviewing this place. It is a sight to see. You can't get enough of the scenery here. Everything about this place is heaven like to me. I am a lover of nature and this to me is IT. If you want to take magazine like pictures of nature, this is the place. Nature itself will make you look like a pro when taking photos. You will need more than a day or two to visit this place. Make your reservation way ahead of time if you want to camp here. You want close encounter with animals, you got it. Come here. There is so much I want to say about this place but all I can say you have to come to see what I mean.

Amy Jo Williams

Incredibly hot, saw Old Faithful, walked the trail, took the southern route. If I ever go again, I'll try the Northern route for the scenic drive. I saw a coyote right off the bat, a heard of elk from far away, and that was it on the southern fork towards Old Faithful. Came in from the West side. 1.5 hour wait just to get to the gate in. Long waits 7 am to noon every day. Prepare a good audiobook for the family if you go.

Cameron Embree

The drive to Lamar valley was the best place to see wildlife in the mornings. Check the National Park website to ensure the roads around the park are available!

reagan woodward

My absolute favorite place on this planet. Make sure to bring binoculars or a spotting scope if you want to see wildlife from far away!

Shiny Rawr

This place is great place to go and adventure and see wildlife and 35$ for a week a really nice place!

TL C

There's nowhere I've been that comes close to the experience I had in Yellowstone National Park. It's one of a kind and a definite must do!! To make the most of your visit, read over the park's website to learn about important news/updates such as closed areas, traffic, wildlife, etc. If you'll be hiking or exploring the area, get (or rent) bear spray and learn when/how to use it :)

Allison Jennings

Didn't explore the park enough, will we return for another look. Went thru the Southern Entrance, so we bought an annual pass, since we had to pass thru Grand Teton before getting to Yellowstone. Saw buffalo, elk, caribou, old faithful, but no bears or moose.

Gabby Rosecrans

We love going to Yellowstone, we went in at the Northern entrance and saw quite a lot of Buffalo that were right next to the car. We also saw a little coyote, that was pretty cool!

Suzette Sibal

I love everything in here. My Family went here around spring time the weather was good. So much to see a bunch of basins and lakes, valley view are outstanding. It has it’s own Grand Canyon the driving inside the park was pleasant that time. Must go early to avoid traffic at the entrance. Take a bunch of pictures when you can specially when you see the wild animals, you may not see them again. Just lovely.

Omar Gomez

What can I say? It's is just such a beautiful and natural place. So much to see and not enough space to write it down. You do not want to miss an opportunity of visiting here and experiencing what Yellowstone has to offer. It is something the whole family can enjoy, young and old.

Jacques Manuel (JM)

Still my fave national park after been to so many national parks, a road trip from Seattle five years ago entered from west Yellowstone and left for Salt Lake City, it was great to share this trip with my friend Chi, we saw all those beautiful cliffs, geysers, rocks and mountains, lake, everything was magnificent, I was so amazed by the diversity landscapes here, those non renewable sightseeings, beware of those hot springs, don’t touch it and lean over fences.

Liza Timmers

Yellowstone has so much to offer with hiking and site seeing. Could use more bike trails though. But love the views and wildlife. Can’t wait to visit again.

Maria Elena

The first national park in the world, almost 9,000 km^2 full of canyons, lakes, mountains, plants, birds, mammals and much more. Is the essence of the wilderness, a place to get lost, the last pristine nature of the contiguous US. We spent five days and is not enough to see everything. Can’t wait to go there again.

Luigi

It's Yellowstone and it's spectacular! What a national treasure this park is. More than 50% of the worlds geyser's are located here. You feel in some places like you're on another planet. So much wildlife live in the park that you are sure to see some of them. Must see are of course Old Faithful, West Thumb Geyser basin, Upper Geyser Basin, Norris Geyser Basin, and The Grand Canyon of Yellowstone. Many of the walkways are wheelchair accessible. There are so many smaller areas that have some neat geyser's as well. You drive around and see a sign and maybe stop if it grabs your attention. You really need 3-5 days to see most of the park. Will be back and catch the things we missed the first time.

Abigail Colbert

Great experience! Old faithful is cool, but there are other geysers that have bigger eruptions, just not as frequent. Plan to bring snacks as the restaurants are take out only at this time and are very, very busy. Plan on staying at least one full day to see the park

Ahmed Abdullah

Major nature sightseeing spots kinda park. It’s filled with hydrothermal and beautiful geological spots. The wildlife is very rich and amazing. I was lucky enough to see many bisons , elks and antelopes. The canyons of the Yellowstone are pretty fascinating as well. I highly suggest hiking the canyon where you get to enjoy wonderful Forrest scene , rivers and waterfalls. Would definitely go back again to enjoy the geysers and do more exploring.

Dilruba Dulgeroglu-Bayazit

It was spectacular. It is a truly unique national park. I felt welcomed in the magical world of Yellowstone National Park. Old Faithful might be the most famous geyser. Grand Prismatic Spring is a rainbow-colored spring. We visited a lot of national parks including Grand Canyon, Rocky Mountain, Grand Teton, Muir Woods, and Arches National Park. Yellowstone has easily been my favorite. We were there in May and the weather was so pleasant, combined snow, sun, rain. We did grill and it's an unforgettable memory for us. Snow-covered pine trees were fascinating and magnificent. Every people have to visit at least once in their lifetime.

Z KAP

This place is amazing. A must visit for anyone. Top visits were the grand canyon of Yellowstone and mammoth hot springs. I thought Old faithful was a little over rated, but cool to see none the less.We saw buffalo, ground squirrels, bears, elk and wolves. You can hit a few major spots in a day, but definitely take 2 or 3 days at least if you can.

Martin Diez

Most probably one of the most amazing national park we had the chance to do in family trip. This Park is amazing and so diverse. We got the chance to see deers, black bear, buffalo's (or bisons), wolves and so many other animals. From the the water falls to the geysers, all the trails we have done were so nice. You are going to remember all of it, the view, the smell, the freshness, this is an unforgettable trip, really must be done!

Brian Harvey

*** Download Google Maps Yellowstone offline file before you go *** We spent a week at the park and had a blast. There is so much to do. Bring water, wear good socks, pack sunscreen but it’s an amazing place to be. Make sure you download the offline google maps.

陳奕婷

Favorite national park in the USA. Really recommend Morning Glory Pool. The Riverside Geyser is also worth visiting. I visited there around June. The weather was really hot. You can see many special terrains.

Spencer Q

It's a little unfortunate but I have to say that this was the least favorites of the national parks in this region. It's definitely good to visit once at least but really it's not so exciting for people that like to hike. Glacier and Grand Teton was much more exciting than this park. Things I would see listed in order of best things to see. -The Grand Canyon of Yellowstone, Lower Falls Lookout Point -Lamar Valley -Grand Prismatic Spring/Old Faithful

Tina Olszewski

Plan at least a couple of days flo see the highlights. Old faithful, the parks gem, was amazing. As were the falls. Get gas before going into the park and pack a lunch.

Andrew Swanson

We had a great couple days spent at Yellowstone! This summer the west has been struggling with major heat and drought conditions so it made for lower visibility but we still made the most of our time and really enjoyed the beauty of this park. Lots of driving so be prepared for that, and the lines can get long! But the chance to see bison or bears in the wild is so fun. Definitely a worthwhile trip!

dave Spinner

Beautiful place quiet not very many people in the southwest corner of the park

Jud Chappell

What an awesome place to see God's creation! Favorite places this week... 1. Trails on South Rim of Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone to lower falls. "CANYON" area. 2. Trails to north side of the lower falls. "CANYON" area. 3. Old Faithful (honestly Old Faithful wasn't as impressive as the build up, but some great geysers and pools around the 3.5mi trail, including Morning Glory Pool. Stunning! 4. Road from CANYON to Tower Falls is closed. Get into the park right at or before 8am. We left our hotel in West Yellowstone at 8:20am one morning. The entrance is maybe 2 miles away and it took over an hour.

Aby Jose

Amazing beautiful place! Grand prismatic super cool.. do take the hike where you can see grand prismatic from high above! All the different types of geysers and springs are amazing and I'm thankful that I got a chance to see this. This is definitely a must see for everybody at least once in the lifetime. I'm so happy that this place has been preserved as a national park. In our opinion you can see all the major areas of the Yellowstone park in 3 to 4 days. We had time left in our week long vacation and so we decided to drive down to the Grand Teton National Park also, which is also very very beautiful!

Omar Alhamdi

The beat national park ever!!!! Went to it twice and would love to visit again and again. You will never regret the beauty of the nature. It should take at least 5-7 days to kind of see everything.

Kyle Bunch

An absolute wonder of geology, nature and wildlife that is like no place else on Earth. A vast array of hot springs, valleys, mountains, rolling hills and animals from moose to bears to elk to deer and everything in between. A truly magical place!

Roman Sannikov

It had been a dream if mine to visit Yellowstone for decades but there never seemed to be enough time. Finally, I decided that even spending a couple of days there during a cross country trip was better than putting it off. I was not disappointed. It is absolutely breathtaking and all the pictures and documentaries can't do it justice. We stayed at the Canyon Lodge, which was great and very close to the beautiful canyon.

Shahed Uddin

Magnificent grand state park. Wish could have gone there with 3-4 days in hand. Will definitely come back.

JB

Went to propose to my girlfriend but she fell in a hot-spring, our relationship kinda dissolved after that. Still a great park.

bEanZ

Truly beautiful, We went during September and the weather was amazing not too hot not too cold, changing colors. Lots of wildlife although on our way to Mammoth there was road work and we waited 10-15 minutes to start moving again. Passes through Jackson and had some lunch and shopping there, then we stayed at West Yellowstone. This was our first time here, I hope to come back again it’s very beautiful and also hope to stop by Teton National Park.

Chad Gibbons

Wow. This place is always a dreamland to visit. Crowds are thicker these days, so going in the fall is much easier. This visit had a lot of closures for overdue maintenance, and it is nice to see some progress there.

Александра Крючко

One of the greatest National Parks in the world. Take into account that you'll need at least one whole day, from very early in the morning till sunrise in order to drive very fast through the sites. In order to see them fully you'll need much more time. Be careful of the wild animals, especially if you stay in a camp. I lived in the area and every year we've read in the newspapers that bear ate a family or several people who left food near by the tent... Old Faithful is incredibly beautiful, as well as other geysers and hot springs. Mud volcano impressed me. You'll meet buffalo by the road for sure, that's guaranteed. With current COVID situation you are obliged to wear a mask indoors. We were worried that we won't eat on Yellowstone as the restaurant might be closed because of pandemic, but in Old Faithful you will find pizza etc.

Hunter Markowich

I don't even know where to start with this review! Let me just tell you that Yellowstone National Park has been such a breathtaking experience for me! I visited during the summer of 2021 during a much-needed vacation. There are so many fun outdoorsy things to do out here, such as hiking and wildlife viewing (we saw lots and lots of bison), as well as looking at all the hot springs and geysers (like Grand Prismatic Spring and Old Faithful). I haven't even covered it all yet... Definitely a bucket-list place for many people, including myself! I took several hundred pictures of Yellowstone, and I have 10 to show you.

Christopher Goes

Tip: get a national parks annual pass. The entrance fee for a week is $35. A national parks annual pass is $80. They let you get a pass at the entrance station. It can then be used at Craters of the Moon in Idaho (which is $20 for entry) and at any other national park or monument in the country.

Jesse Greathouse

I visited Yellowstone for the first time, this year, and the thing I keep asking myself is: “Why did I wait so long?”. The park is the quintessential example of the natural splendor of America. It’s an essential destination for any nature lover. This park is bigger than you realize. It will take you a long time to see the things that you want to see. I recommend spending multiple days in the park, ideally 3 or 4, if you want to really take in all of the experiences. In addition, you will save yourself a lot of driving time if you stay in some of the lodging or campground in the park. The early and evening hours are magical in Yellowstone, and if you stay outside the park you might miss out on these golden hours because of driving time. Unfortunately, the only thing that ruins a guests experience, in the park, is other guests. Be considerate of other guests in the park. Don’t stop in the middle of the road to look at a wild animal. This is an obnoxious behavior that ruins the experience for everyone around you. Don’t get out of your car to approach a wild animal. You will cause more harm than you realize. Don’t crowd into attractions that are already overcrowded. Just come back later. This is why I recommend spending 3 or 4 days at the park. It can be crowded and it can take a lot more time, than you realize, to see everything.

Robert yee

Endless possibilities of wildlife and beauty to see. You simply cannot experience everything in a week.

Savannah loupe

Beautiful place, must see park. Visited mid May, Yellowstone lake was still partially frozen. Saw lots of wildlife. Saw the park in around 3 days. You will have traffic because of either people stopping to look at wildlife or its bison on the road. Pack snacks and a whole lot of water just incase your waiting in traffic a bit. Also get something Huckleberry, we really loved the Huckleberry ice cream and coffee❤

Gary Hensley

This our third day in Yellowstone and the scenery and wildlife have made it a wonderful trip.

Kimberly Anne

Everything in Yellowstone is so beautiful, but the Sapphire Pool was my absolute favorite place this trip! Also met a pretty cool Raven at the Brink of Upper Falls, we named him Ernie.

Ramesh Dhanasekaran

One of the best places I have been to. And certainly it's in the top of the list. The geological wonders, wildlife, geadows and forests and everything else.

Steve Daniels

It was my third time going to Yellowstone and the Grand Tetons. First time was 10 years ago. I will have to admit, it was much better the first trip. Less busy by far and it seems that more buildings are there at Old Faithful now. I have slept since first trip tho. lol. We saw a moose and 3 calves and elk. Jenny Lake was beautiful as always.

Karen Peterson

Always beautiful, but don't expect to get anyplace in a hurry. Besides stopping for animals as usual, the parking lots were very full. Be patient, start early, and see the less popular places.

Swap S

What does this park not offer? - is a question I’m still figuring out.. Canyons, Waterfalls, Rivers, Lakes, Hot Springs, Geysers, Volcanoes, forests, plains, Mountain passes, valleys with plenty of wildlife! Hats off to the National Park Services for making this park accessible, yet keeping it wild! Plan to spend at least 3 to 4 days here, if not a week. Don’t miss the Geyser basins, particularly Old faithful in the upper geyser basin. Visit the Lamar Valley and Hayden Valley for wildlife. Mammoth Hot Springs, Mud Volcanoes(don’t miss the Dragon’s breath), Yellowstone Falls and Yellowstone lake! Something not everyone takes up - but the route from Yellowstone down to Grand Teton is beautiful too! Do cover that section of the park too! The park is crowded - duh! - Plan your visits early in the morning or in the evenings! And, you can chill at the visitor centers which all have stores and restaurants near by during the afternoon!

Hang Nguyen

Absolutely breathtaking and beautiful national park! We enjoyed seeing the animals, geyser and thermal pools. There are great trails to hike as little or as much as you want. I would highly recommend going to the park for several days and map out what you want to see. The highlight for me was watching Old Faithful! We went at the end of the season and a lot of places in West Yellowstone were closed. So check out the calendar to see when things start to close down.

Jesus Galvan

Such a beautiful pristine amazing views all around, a must see for everyone and don't wait until you're too old because you want to get around and hike and explore such a beautiful place on this Earth. You will need more than one week to explore such an amazing area that God has created

Haining Cai

Most beautiful park i ever been!

Laila Stene

Beautiful nature. Too big to see first time, will have to go again. It is so worth it.

Evan Zumwalt

Such an amazing national park. Pro tip: go on opening day. Its free, less crowded, and the wildlife is fantastic. I love going here and always look forward to returning.

D Conaway

Absolutely amazing!!! Majestic yet spooky being that the National Park sits a top a Calder. Sadly we did not see any bear or moose outside of gift shop stuffies.

Sue Dong

Yellowstone Forever. Thanks to our Nation's great leaders then established this and many other National Parks for the people to enjoy for ever!

Justin Ottney

Truly an unbelievable place. I definitely recommend spending several days in the area to truly experience and appreciate the diverse landscape of mountains, rivers, lakes, waterfalls, canyons, hot springs, geysers, forests, wildlife (and more) that this massive place has to offer. There’s something for everyone.

Frank S

Such beauty and splendor unsurpassed as I have ever seen. Photos do not do it justice it is a must-see to appreciate.

Stephanie Michelle Shook

The pine beetles have killed so many pine trees it looks like several big fires have swept through. It's still worth seeing and there are plenty of areas that are still as beautiful as the pictures. The animals there are everywhere and the domesticated ones will literally walk right passed you and through a crowded area.

ryan anthony

This national park was the first one ever, how cool is that? I know it's old news but very cool, also side note the first monument was also in Wyoming. This was a very cool experience to take in with my awesome family. We have a camper (about 18ft long) which stayed at Bay bridge campsite. The campsite was big enough for our camper and our vehicle. We had elk and bison right up next to our campsite and even so close to our camper that you could touch it if the windows opened up to allow you to, even though I would highly not recommend it. Yellowstone was an amazing and breathtaking experience and I hope my kids remember this for a long time. Here is some of the many photos I took.

bhupesh dawadi

Yellowstone spans almost 3,500 miles, and extends into parts of Montana and Idaho, making it one of the largest national parks in the US. Yellowstone National Park sits on top of a dormant volcano and is home to more geysers and hot springs than any other place on earth.

Kimberly Swetlik

Great views and a must see park. There is a variety of different areas where you are able to see different wildlife. Bathrooms are either nice or gross but kinda expected. I recommend to buy your pass online so you can get in the gate quicker.

Iain Montgomery

You need to go....possibly one of the best experiences I have had on vacation. Take 3 or 4 days to allow exploration of the whole of the park. Lots to see and do, take some of the hikes and get to see some of the off the beaten path items as well as all the top sites. Options of where to stay offering different comfort levels.

Nickolas Schram

Yellowstone is amazing. You can see all sorts of wildlife. We were only there for a day and a half bit saw so much. It would be ideal to spend at least a week here to be able to explore all the trails and the entire park. Unfortunately the park isn't very dog friendly but that's understandable for the amount of visitors the park gets and the abundant wildlife.

Adrian Franco

Amazing national park with a lot of wildlife and attractions. If it wasn't so crowded or visitors used more common sense this would be my favorite national park.

RawRec! Strike

One of the best National Park in America!

Michelle Reyes

It is Definitely a must in ones life. Beautiful and mind-blowing how nature does this

Marie Lippman

This treasure is hard to believe you're still on earth! Beautiful and the campgrounds are excellent, but make reservations for a spot if you're camping.

Debra Ryko

Breathtaking! Wish we lived closer so I could volunteer here! Beautiful scenery, animals roaming freely, very well maintained parks, picnic areas, restrooms. Outstanding National Park - one of America's treasures!

Bobby Huffstuttler

Many things have changed since I was last here 25 years ago , great views and a great place to visit

JT Lee

It could be pouring rain or brilliant sun and Yellowstone will still be just as impressive and beautiful! It’s basically nature beauty overload with some added bison adrenaline rush plus fascinating gifts from Mother Nature- geysers, hot pools, landscapes, waterfalls, boulders, more bison, bald eagles. Rare to find somewhere that nearly every pull-off is worth more than 1 photo so make sure your phone is charged! Cell service is basically non-existent in the park so plan ahead with paper maps and plans but park signage is excellent. So gorgeous and fascinating history about our beautiful nation. Oh, and you’re standing on a giant volcano the whole time so just keep that in mind ????

Siyu Zhao

Heavy snow & beautiful scene

Lisa v

Incredible experience. Wildlife was amazing. Ran into a few blizzards in May but that's to be expected.

John K Evans

If you are planning your first visit to Yellowstone and Glacier, and want to visit both parks on the same trip, make every effort to see Yellowstone first. If you go to Glacier first, the odds are that you will be disappointed by Yellowstone. Next, try and see Yellowstone as soon as the roads are cleared in the Spring, when snow melt creates impromptu waterfalls, or in the autumn during fall foliage. Avoid the high season because, unlike Glacier, there is no ticketed entry system in place at Yellowstone, and vehicular traffic overwhelms the roads and the parking lots at the park's prime attractions. You can sit in bumper to bumper traffic worthy of an LA freeway at rush hour if a bison happens to be dining on the roadside, and parking spots at the prime attractions are an iffy proposition at best. Where to enter the park? The best option is to approach from the east on US 212, with Red Lodge and the Beartooth Pass or Cody and the Chief Joseph Scenic Highway being your starting points. In either case, you will see spectacular scenery that, frankly, leaves Yellowstone well behind. Here is where you will encounter wildlife without the traffic jams-- open range cattle, bison, white tail deer, elk, bighorn sheep, the odd moose or bear, mountain goats, wild horses ... it can be quite a parade! Right now, there is an added benefit to this approach: the road from Tower Junction to Canyon Village is closed, severing the loop. The stretch between Tower and Mammoth Hot Springs at present, therefore, is seeing far less traffic than would normally be the case. The accompanying photos take you along the Chief Joseph Highway to Undine Falls inside the park-- happy trails!

Connor McHugh

There is nothing else to say that hasn’t already been said. Every American needs to make a pilgrimage to this otherworldly experience. Military gets in free!

Edward Bushey

Our first time to Yellowstone. I think what we were so impressed with was the diversity of geography and terrain was contained within the park. From canyons, to valleys, to multiple types of thermal features, extensive wildlife and beautiful hikes - this park has it all. Highly recommend getting up early and pacing out your visits to various attractions. Crowds build quickly by 10 am, making parking at various locations difficult. Also one note of warning, bison traffic delays are a regular occurrence.

Kevin Grimes

Park is clean but super busy for the most part. Be prepared to sit in traffic for hours if bison is near the roadway. Everywhere we went staff was friendly and the views are awesome. Even if you stay for 2 weeks it’s still not enough to enjoy the whole park. I highly recommend going and getting up early and staying up late to explore it all. My favorite parts were “the Grand Canyon of Yellowstone”, “Old Faithful” and the hot springs.

Alexandru David

Beautiful park! Take your time and visit as much as you can. Great wildlife experience. Definitely don't miss the main attractions like the geysers, Old Faithful, Lamar Valley. If you can't find housing inside the park, look at options like West Yellowstone or Gardiner MT. The summer days could feel hot but the evenings and mornings are such a pleasure.

Amanda Bassham

We LOVE Yellowstone. Old Faithful gets all the attention, but what you really need to check out are Great Fountain and Grand geysers. We stayed in Canyon Campgrounds. The showers were closed this year, but laundry was open.

Sally Serpa

If you're limited on time, drive the Grand loop. You can pick which things you must stop to see. We enjoyed the views and the falls are breathtaking!

Elizabeth Ann

I love Yellowstone. I have been here many times over the years & it never disappoints. …

Paul Clay

Diverse geographical areas. Enjoyed Dragon's Mouth Spring, Mud Volcano, Sulphur Caldron (between Canyon Village and Fishing Bridge) , Lamar Valley (North drive), Brink of the Falls in Canyon Village, Grand Prismatic Spring, and Old Faithful who was famously on time in the snow. Most all were short walks but some areas (Canyon Village areas) expect hikes. You also cross the Continental Divide. Everyone enjoyed the Bison ambling along the shoulder of or in the road. Bear and antelope were around.

fanita nathireddy

Words and pictures won’t do any justice to explain how beautiful this park is. Exploring the natural wonders in the park is one of a kind experience. A quite and peaceful getaway.

Breshin Billingsley

Amazing!!!!!!! Hands down 3 days of adventure only got us to several of the wonderful beautiful sites Yellowstone has to offer...can't wait to go back!!

John Moyer

Very busy at times but the sheer beauty of the landscape makes up for it! Even if you're stopped on the road waiting for a bison herd to cross the road, the magnificent landscape and diverse animals more than make up for the traffic jams! This truly can be the trip of a lifetime for anyone interested in nature!

Elf Bear

Gorgeous, fascinating, there's not enough adjectives. Every experience was amazing, from horseback riding to the cookout to just seeing wildlife and landscapes. This should be on everyone's bucket list!

moshe schiller

My first of many National park visits and what a way to start. Geysers, prismatic lake, wildlife, canyons! Inspirational is the word that comes to mind. Heavy traffic throughout so bring some snacks drinks and music and stay patient, it’s absolutely worth it. If you’re tenting it gets real chilly at night so dress warmly.

Giorgia Palmentieri

Very happy having visited during pandemic when it was almost empty of human being. We had the pleasure to stay more than one week to enjoy hiking in each area of the park. We thought to have more off road to visit off grid area but anyway it’s an experience to have once in the life. During peak season you can find long line of cars waiting for enter the park or even find a car parking which is horrible but worth it! We saw wildlife like bears, buffaloes, moose etc very close to us. We will come back in the winter time. Geysers are my favorite. Go go go!!!

Jason morlang

Yellowstone is just spectacular. Drawing in more than a million tourists from around the globe I can say I am one of those tourists every year. My favorite part of the park is the grand prismatic springs and old faithful, as well as fishing bridge. This national park has gas and electricity for your rv or your electric car. Camping and motels in the park. Yes there us wildlife here and no they do not live in cages. All animals free roam in this park. Yellowstone should be on everybody's bucket list of life.

Siju George

2nights 3day trip. Main attractions : Each places need minimum of 2-3hours. 1.Mammoth 2.Norris Geyser (these two on the same route). 1.Old Faithful Geyser 2.Grand Prismatic Spring 3.Grand canyon of Yellowstone. On the way so many beautiful scenic places are there. Stay near west entrance.

Leon Borin

An amazing enormous park which is a must visit. The sights of different types of thermal pools, geysers and springs are truly unique and will make you very interested in geology. An amazing place for nature and animal lovers.

Sam Rezaei

Beautiful! Please be respectful and responsible. Give animals some space and enjoy the epic views!

Oana Vlasceanu

Yellowstone was a breathtaking experience! We stayed at the campsite Bay Bridge for 4 nights and it was a great experience! Such a beautiful national park. Worth the visit, but allow yourself at least 4 days, you will not regret it ????

Jessy Ring

Absolutely loved Yellowstone. The wildlife was amazing. Geysers were beautiful. Big attractions like Ol' Faithful were crazy packed but everything else was easy to see.

HANNAH WILLIAMS

Beautiful piece of America. Go to Lamar Valley, unlike any other place in our country.

Mark Gordon

Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone is spectacular in its grandeur and beauty. Walk along the north rim to the falls is worth the effort, and stand at the edge of the Yellowstone River as it plummets to the valley below fills you with awe and provides you with energy from the river.

Rami Shakir

This NP is unique, can’t describe it. The colors of the geysers are stunning

Kay-Kay M.

This park is so beautiful. I highly recommend it. We only had one day to explore it but we were able to see so much. We had a beautiful day for it too.

Debbie Thornhill

Considering the weather, and not sure we could even get into the park, it was a great day. Saw a red fox, mama and baby elk and old Faithful!

Chris Dorn

I stayed in a cabin in West Yellowstone. It was about 100 yards from the actual Yellowstone Park. If you want to go out and see one of the most exciting and most beautiful places in the USA, go to Yellowstone. I haven't been everywhere in the US but I've been to portions of all of the lower 48. This was certainly one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. I loved it and hope to go back soon. It's definitely worth the time. Go for sure.

Jason Farrell

Most amazing place

Melaynee Pennington

i will keep going back as long as i’m alive, there’s so much i haven’t seen & i love what i’ve seen thus far; it’s such a beautiful place to be

AFor CustomerService

Food & camping was a little expensive, but not surprised. Wonderful experience but.... DO NOT WALK UP TO BISONS FOR PICTURES! ???? The posters are not just eye candy.

SANJU KHOLI

Absolutely breathtaking and beautiful national park! We enjoyed seeing the animals, geyser and thermal pools. There are great trails to hike as little or as much as you want. I would highly recommend going to the park for several days and …More
