I took my pure breed puppy there for a trim I got him back shaved with scratches on his eyes. This being the first time I've owned a small dog, I did not realize the importance of a professional groomer. I would not recommend this place. While some of the girls were really nice -being nice cannot make up for whatever my little pup went through there. My mistake I'm writing this review so you don't make that mistake either ????????????????

Great staff, awesome products and clean store! Fishtanks are clean and no dead fish, I can tell the staff are good people, it was even a staff's birthday that day, I let the man helping me go sing happy birthday with them, and I pet a parrot!

Called quarter to closing to ask if they had our dogs food. Said we'd leave right away. Got there five minute until closing and their doors were locked. Called, which someone answered, said they couldn't do anything because the doors were already locked and the employees had left. Who runs that kind of business? Knew I was coming, yet closed early.

I had an excellent experience here today. They didn't have the bird food I was looking for but the salesperson was very helpful and suggested something comparable. Wonderful interaction with the animals, my little grandson was spell bound watching the finches and little hamsters on their wheel, he especially thought the parrot was amazing when it flew just over his head! They had everything we needed, along with fast, friendly and knowledgeable service, Friendly's is sure to become a place we visit often...

Never again making a purchase at this outlet. They lied to me about the animal I purchased. They lied to me about all the supplies and foods I needed. They just wanted to make a quick buck. Spent over $500 on stuff I didn't even need. Went back the next day and told them all the lies they told me and got nothing in return besides a kick in the ass. I suggest going to Grand prairie to purchase anything. The staff there is friendly and know more about what they are selling.

Love getting to pet the resident(?) cats, especially when there's one on the counter at the till =D Yes, the smell is STRONG, and it's not the cleanest place.. but it's a tiny shop, and I've never been in a pet store that doesn't have a smell.

My chihuahua is very wary of who does her nails and has great anxiety since a private groomer injured her. At Friendly Pets they listened to my concern and were very gentle with her and took their time. After a few visits there we are now able to do her nails on our own so they helped tremendously with easing her back into getting her nails done.

Went looking for something to attach my dog to my bike. The employee tried to help, asked the manager/owner to which she said it was too specialty. The employee asked if it was something she might order in, manager/owner said she just did a large order, so no. Overall, I felt unwelcome and an inconvenience. This was my second visit to this store and each time I left without making a purchase, each time I felt my business is unwanted. I did try the Pet Valu and they did have something, they also offered to order in something if it wasn't what I was looking for. The employee at Pet Valu was friendly and helpful. I didn't end up getting what they had but I did pick up a new leash. I like the idea of shopping local, but all too often the customer service is lacking.
