Very pretty
Nice park to walk around the water and take a nice relaxing picnic or to let ur kids play. Beuatiful during summer season.
It was nice, too chilly to sit and eat.
Amazing! Great place to enjoy a sunset. One of my favourite places in Sarnia.
Beautiful sunset evening and friendly people walking by????
Gateway to the trail system, water refill at the Chalet and lovely swimming holes on the river
Nice little park with long walking/bike path along the water. Small area for canoes/kayak water entry as well. Dogs allowed. Easily accessible from many areas. Plenty of benches to rest along the way if needed and a few sculptures, fountains and art pieces to enjoy as well.
Great trails, beautiful landscape and green areas to enjoy with friends and family or in your own !
Great place to get out and get some fresh air!
Centennial Park is wonderful and well kept. The flowering planters in spring and summer are just gorgeous. In the winter the annual celebration of lights is a magical and a must see while in Sarnia ! Thankyou for keeping this park so beautiful ????
This is an amazing park. The scenery is so beautiful. This is a must go.
If you want go to walk lonely or with somebody in the forest and you love the adventure. Definitely you should go to visit this gorgeous place.
Awesome place to spend your evenings.
Good sledding hill!
Great spot to walk along the water. Grab a coffee and enjoy the relaxing waterfront.
It's a park... open space, grass, flowers... what more can I say?
Beautiful park, lots to explore for all ages. Mysterious train tracks to follow and several trails to walk or bike....until you hit the uphill at the underpass! …
Large park with lots of shaded picnic areas, hiking and biking trails. Great for disc golf as well. Beautiful lake. Perfect place for watching Canada Day fireworks.
Fun place to swim with the kids they have play ground as well in field . Make sure you watch going into the water the rocks are very slippery. I seen many go done on there butts .
Pretty little walk along the river, pack a little lunch, people watch, it's a nice place to just relax.
Most peaceful place in Sarnia. Can enjoy a walk along the water and check out different gardens along the way.
Nice park by the river to take morning or an afternoon walk. You can also ride your bike nicely on this attach if the river. This park holds several festivities also during the summer including Canada day celebration and fireworks, Rib fest and the festival of lights during the winter. Onboarding the river cruise ship also happens in this park.
An immense and well-known park in Etobicoke on the border between Mississauga and Toronto. It offers a huge range of activities: golfing, skiing, go-kart, beach volleyball, baseball, playgrounds, sport fields, baseball and softball diamonds, picnic areas and a wading pool. There's something for everyone including for those who simply like to sprawl on their folding chairs and sniff the air. Great for summer barbeques, big picnics, or walking your dog. A couple of long trails intersect the park which make it a perfect stopover for lunch while hiking or biking. It's well maintained, offers several spaces for hanging out, parking, and is connected to transit.
Off-leash dog park is very pretty. Be aware a lot of paths lead back into current river.
This is a beautiful park with nice trails. There is plenty of room for picnics and barbecues, the ponds are gorgeous, and the walking trail is very nice. It is a very dusty gravel path, so be mindful of the shoes you wear. Great for biking and disc golf. There is also a playground and a conservatory (which we didn't get to visit this time).
This is a beautiful place to walk/hike/swim/relax in the summer. There are trails that run parallel to the river that can be walked liesurely as well as challenging hiking and cross country bike trails. In the winter there is still open water in places to still hear the running water of the river. The trails are open for cross-country skiing. There is also a hill for tobogganing! There is also a playground. The hiking trail along the river leads under the hiway to Trowbridge falls, which is another great place to cool off in the summer! Just as you get to the park, there is an off-leash dog trail going through a wooded area. It is a great place for our dog to explore.
We play disc golf here. It's a great course and the park is lovely. Well maintained and the other people tend to be pretty understanding of us disc golfers.
Enjoy a lovely long walk around Sarnia bay area. Marina, restaurants, kayak launch, children's play area and lovely gardens surround the bay. Beautiful!
Very nice park.... Good for friends and family... Kids can do lot of fun
Very nice place for a leisurely stroll. Great scenery and views.
Great place to play some sports. Take a walk around the pond or hike up the hill for some sunset views over the city.
Lots of trails, and great swimming spots.
The flowers are so pretty here and all the ducks are adorable to look at. It's nice and quiet and you can either grab a table and sit or stand at the rail at look out over the water. So pretty.
Fun and beautiful
Great place to spend some time in nature. Always a wonderful walk.
Nice place I will be back
Awesome park to relax, walk, run and more
Nice and spacious. Plenty of nets for football/soccer. There's even big hills to run up, if you want to test your endurance.
Great place to walk the dog
Great place for a walk with the family.
Love this place. Had a lot of great memories visiting my daughter and our dog.
I love the new park for the kids and it beautiful for late walks
Nice park for family picnic.
This is a great place, my girlfriend wrote me a john deer letter and gave me the boot. I was homeless, but I came here and found a house to live in. ????
Just wonderful! Especially the celebration of lights, it's like a part of dazzling milky way fallen over the earth.
Such a beautiful park! Great place for a weekend.
Great park Lots of different things to do when visiting this park Disc golf Go karts Soccer fields Baseball diamonds And a great place to go for a walk
Celebration of Lights is beautiful every year! We love the park, walks on the waterfront and the new band shell.
Beautiful park in all seasons. Playground, amphitheater, walking paths, lush gardens, and food trucks in the warm months. The Christmas light display in the winter is breathtaking too and well worth the walk through.
A nice place to visit with amazing views. The garden is well maintained and best place for a long evening walk.
(Translated) Trails are not maintained (Original) Les sentiers ne sont pas entretenus
Well maintained water front park
So spacious!! Such a wide field for doing anything! I definitely recommend this place to everyone! Thumbs up! ????
Great place for young children to explore and run around
Nice place to chill out ????
Great place to swim, hike, bike, and more!
Lots of open space, walking paths and great views.
Very nice, swimming spots, beautiful nature trails, interesting historical representations.
Trails here are great! Always a bonus for being minutes away from the city.
This park is absolutely beautiful! I love walking here, it's peaceful and the gardens are well cared for. During the day I feel safe walking and sitting alone, I've not been in the evening so I can't really comment on the safety factor. There are plenty of places to sit or have a picnic, and the enjoyment doubles when there are festivals or events taking place. I highly recommend this wonderful park.
(Translated) Wow! Very beautiful park and people are very welcoming! Thanks to James (Original) Wow! Très beaux parc et les gens sont très accueillent! Merci à James
This should get 5 stars just for being so close to my house. How have I been ignoring this place that is pretty much my back yard? I went in the evening when it was cool enough for a big dude to go out on an …
Awesome place to just chill and feel the breeze from the sky blue water❤️❤️❤️????????????
Great walking trails!
Friendly ducks, a garden, lots of places to walk, will go again
Beautifully maintained park. Ideal for families and kids. Ample parking space. Great place to see the Cherry blossom if you would like to escape the High Park rush.
Incredible place to go with family and friends, had a great time there.
I quite enjoy the trails at Centennial. They're very calming when combined with the rushing river beside the main trail. It leads to other parks as well which is a perk for long walkers such as myself.
Lots to see and do. Great for cycling and walking.
Was a great day
Beautifil place, and even better now that they have the train ride up and going again
Would be a nice place to visit in better weather. Large park, many things to do. Lots of free parking. Ski "mountain".
Very nice park it's clean even the public restroom is clean.
Got to see Theodore Too. The gardens are looking beautiful this year. Nice breeze on a hot night. Lovely place.
Great place to have a picnic, go for a walk, or just sit and enjoy the weather! Plenty of parking, lots of space and shaded areas to picnic. They also have frisbee golf set up to play. Flower conservatory you can visit. Not sure if the summer activities are open now due to covid.
This is our favorite park to go to when we want to relax, hike, enjoy nature and marvel the cityscapes of Toronto and Mississauga. During spring, we love the young blooming cherry blossom trees. During summer and fall, we love the changing hues of trees and sounds of birds. This place is full during summer but going early morning or late afternoons will give you a bit of space.
Lovely park. Its huge, spread across a few acres probably. Has some nice small ponds, soccer grounds, picnic areas, mini trails, lot of space for friends and family get together.
Absolutely love this place.
Beautiful location.
Always a great spot for people who want to have a great picnic day, walking or biking. I love this spot for mountain biking as they had so many dedicated bike trails all over the mountain. Great work maintaining them.
A nice walk/hike through the trees along the river on a hot day!
Great place for long walk!
Water nature bikinis
We loved the garden here! We came in May and the hydrangea was gorgeous! It’s very well maintained, lots of things to see. Enough parking spots, clean washroom
Very pleasant walk in the woods. Mostly in shade and mottled shade out of the sun. Great way to spend an afternoon when it's over 33 degrees. 5 and 10 k walks. Access to Trowbridge Park.
Great view of sarnia bay and st. Clair river, also great fries.
A nice park to take a stroll along the water's edge! Wishing there was more liveliness, events/vendors/food trucks during the summer months to boost tourism!
Put your dog's on leashes people!
Nice bike trails
It's Dec 24th, 2021 and there is no snow, but a great display of lights to bring the community together. When there is snow (yeah there hasn't been much as in the Peg) families are enjoying sledding on the hills at this park. Awesome to hear the excitement in children's laughs going down the hill. The walkway along this Park ie. Front Street is very peaceful and a great stroll to take any time during the day. Great place to fish (we do catch and release) at this time of year as well.
Very nice park
Took kids tobaganning. They loved it.
Great waterfront views, nice place for a walk and some food trucks for a snack!
Great park, with trails and playground
Lovely park. It has a lot of pathways to walk on. Perfect for a family outing or a hike with friends!
Excellent place with all the facilities. Shall have more trees though.
Great for morning walks
Went there for the Tall Ships regatta. Packed. The lines for the various big name ships, not able to go on board. Beautiful scenery and lots of small craft pleasure boats.
I love this place for hiking and enjoying the outdoors
Big, green and lovely. Huge disc Golf course.Come early to avoid the picnic crowds :)
Walk your dog here
I love going there with jereme
I love the conservatory! Specially in winter. Great plant collection, always changes one of the section to different type of flowers. Love to sit there and just enjoy the odors and the garden feel.
Amazing view with amazing friends.
Beautiful, peaceful, serene ..
I loved this place with so much peace and nature beauty
Great park...love walking by the water
Good place
Nice place to visit in sarnia. Best pale for walking.
ONE OF THE BEST PARKS IN SARNIA!!! The waterfront walk is phenomenally breath taking and great exercise for all fitness levels. My favourite way to do this walk is by parking my car at Rainbow Park and then walking down the boardwalk, then the paved waterfront towards the Great Lakes fountains and marina. About a 2.5 hour walk round trip.
My favorite park to walk around and enjoy the water front
Great place to see some scenery
The conservatory is a lovely little oasis with some spectacular plants. Really enjoyed the cactus area. And all free of charge.
This was my first visit to Sarnia and what a fantastic place! Went for a walk and ended up in Centennial Park. What a beautiful and peaceful park to go to! The water is clear and the flowers are so colorful! I was mesmerised by the boats …
Love taking my kids there...
great park! It's fun in the winter and in the summer. The trails are good fun!
Good place for training outdoors...so much at your disposal to come up with innovative ways of working out. Train by yourself or as a group. Bring your own outdoor equipments. Take a walk on the number of paths available. Bring the family, bring your friends...there is plenty of space space social distancing. The bathrooms are open and for what it's worth I been kept pretty clean. There is a school with 2 open outdoor nets that are rarely occupied.
Nice nature oasis in city limits
Pack extra strength sunblock, a big hat, loads of water to drink and be prepared to use a portapotty if you can find it.
Huge park with lots of activities to do. The only thing needed is lots of signs and directions so that one doesnt have to walk a lot in case they are lost.
Hard to find the right areas. Research before you go so you know where to park. We wanted to see the cherry blossoms but could only find one set that still had flowers.
Beautiful. Very large. Many picnic areas.
Centennial park is like no other. Beautiful beach and nice longboard walks along the Waterfront here. There is food in the area if you got hungry.
Visited Centennial park today after 10 years, great park, lots of parking and great scenes for photography among other activities.
Excellent outdoor adventures
Great play structure and it's nice to see the animal!
My favourite Park from the area. The Ducks are adorable in the Arboretum is beautiful and a little Pond is absolutely gorgeous. Plenty of walking to be done at any time of the year highly recommended to visit.
Love going to the water front with my babies n play at the play ground n walk along the water . Watching the ducks n boats. But seens all the garbage in there breaks my heart. Those poor ducks n fish. . Wish there was a way to clean it up... humans are so mean n gross . Garbage cans arent thats far there so many up there . Not hard ppl to use them.
Lovely place. To run, bike or click lake side pics.
They were putting up the lights for the Celebration of Lights. Thank you to all the volunteers that make this happen.
Great park! Lots of trees, benches and small streams and lakes. Good and clean spots for picnics and outdoor activities.
Beautiful
Love the ducks and being close to the river. Peaceful and it's a nice walk with a lot of benches sit and have a rest
Very nice park. Several areas. Wish parking lot was just a tiny bit bigger.
It's nice, trails and trees and stuff. You can swim in the river, wow.
This isn't quite world class scenery like the park by the bridge, but it's still a really nice feature of the city which is worth taking a stroll through when you're in town. It's not as great as it was before they fixed the waste issues, but it will be in 30 years when the trees have matured.
Beautiful place and perfect walking trails
Great trails for hiking and biking. Varying lengths and levels of difficulty
Nice place to hang out, play sports, go for a walk, or have a picnic with the family. Usually packed especially on long weekends but not that busy on the weekday. Batting cages and go karts are fun too
Full of life ,amazing place for who adores green and plants
Good wooded camping sites.
Nice views, picnic hill, entertainment events, kids playground, ships and boats, river front walking and jogging, fishing, relaxing, I really enjoy the water front day or night, its just beautiful anytime.
I forgot this place excited until the other day, had a fun day playing with the animals, they should advertise more and host events, would get a lot more traffic.
Great place for sunsets ❤️
Awesome experience went with the significant other to see Theodore the tugboat 90s kids thing iconic character from them who we all loved
very peaceful to walk around the huge pond
Great park. Family friendly.
Great out door fun
Beautiful place to walk and clear your mind. Very peaceful and tranquil.
Celebration of lights is always a pleasure to see! Especially during covid
NATURE ❤❤❤❤❤❤
Great trails
It was one of the best place to spend your day.
This is a Sarnia must see. This a very popular spot dog walkers, walking in general, ship watching, a coffee and a visit with a friend. Great veiw.
Great place to walk
Tons of summer and winter activities and endless trails. You can always find something to do here. And if you want you can access nearby Trowbridge park and the Cascades through its trail network.
If you need to be alone & blend with nature...... this is the place....????????
One of Thunder Bay's many great places to explore
The most peaceful place one can find in mississauga neighbourhood.
We go here almost every time we visit Sarnia. Great views, a nice big playground, and plenty of space for the kids to roam.
Nice walking path. A great quality fry truck is there most of the year (Bluewater's Best Fries), well maintained with fountains and gardens and a new children's playground and performance stage area...all around Sarnia Bay
Amazing place :'3
A nice spot for a hike, bike or swim in the nature right inside the city
Great for lots of activities- baseball, volleyball, sports. There's a go cart track and I usually see someone flying a mini plane. Beautiful pond with lots of ducks and other birds. Lovely place to bring your dog and walk around.
I often come out for a walk here. The scenery is good and you can feel the refreshing feeling if you walk for a while. People passing by are also kind and nice to take pictures. It is a good place to take a walk with your family and it is a very convenient place to park. It is also a good place for children.
Beautiful park to enjoy a great river breeze & view !
Yes from time to time there are bear sightings, but I have had enough black bear encounters not to be afraid of them anymore, just give them some space and you will be fine. Great place to walk in the fall, most of the time I go out of town for my hikes but this was a nice change of pace .
Great park. We arr lucky to have across from our office.
always a great view of the water. this city is great to have such beautiful parks
Beautiful watching the motocross on the ice
Really beautiful large park that is full of things to do. There is a large 18 hole frisbee golf course inside the park which is very fun. Will be coming back here a few more times next summer.
Such a lovely park, great landacaping, nice new park if you have kids. In walking distance to both downtown, and to the marina area restaurants like Paddy O'Flaherty's and Stokes. The new boat launch is completed and looks very sharp.
Amazing trails, you can find amythest all over the park in a variety of sizes and enjoy the sound of the river.
Very nice, not too busy you can enjoy a quiet time there.
Lots to enjoy here plus it's an off leash park
Nice park with all the amenities - picnic, playground, trail, historical plaques ... all with the beautiful riverside view and fishing too for a relaxing fun afternoon :)
Great place for dogs to run and explore. Goes in a loop so you can't really get lost. Water current can be strong so I wouldn't let a small dog in that water.
Pleasant trails for walking, biking or xc skiing (generally not groomed). Small cliffs for climbing, and fine views from the top of the bluffs. Enjoy exploring close to home.
Great place for a nice walk along the St. Clair River.
A great place to take the kids to picnic then play at the park
One of the most picturesque places in the city.
Great place to relax
The Celebration of Lights is a beautiful excuse to stroll through the park on a wintry evening! It's a great place to go and relax and enjoy the river front in the warmer weather too!
(Translated) Perfect for outdoor walks and being in touch with nature. (Original) Perfecto para paseos al aire libre y estar en contacto con la naturaleza.
Beautiful park, they've done an amazing job with the renovations!!
Great spot for a walk along the river
Beautiful park! Huge green space to picnic, walk, play sports and more. It has a green house, Go Kart, Golf course, ski station, swimming pool, and a pond.
Nice park for biking and those who are into sports as the park has plenty of sport fields including soccer and baseball, swimming pool among others. J really liked to hang out there duri g the Rib Fest, but that was before everything had changed due to the pandemic. The Park is huge and it has a nice hilly area for hikers and you can have a nice view from the hill. That hill could be accessed from some points that are not too steep. Kids can join some clubs there too. Overall it was an experience that was worth it. Lots of parking spots for free.
Place is ok, usually best place to watch Canada Day fireworks. Tend to see...let's say unique individuals there. I would be wary traveling and visiting at night though, especially if you're alone.
We went to go sliding today, there's a nice hill just across the bridge, with lots of room to spread out and a variety of gentle and steeper slopes. Nice afternoon activity!
For the dogs!
Large wide open field with stage area, playground, plenty of walking paths!
Nice trails and stuff for kids
Come here frequently with my dog. Best off-leash area in town for sure!
Nice area to come and enjoy the day at, but some areas have very little grass and mostly dried dirt.
Me and the sweetie randomly ended up here for a small hike just after it had freshly snowed...... Very nice scenery and great walk for us.
Centennial park is a historical remembrance reserved park. Its history way back to the soldiers died during the war. The Trail is very famous and beautiful. People use the trail for jogging. There is also many historical remaining in the park. Tenting is also available There is a way from Trowbridge park to centennial park. We can reach centennial park by getting on to Bus number 1 to current river from waterfront terminal. Beautiful and peaceful area. We can also bring our kids for leisure as there is kids section in the park. Rest rooms are also available. We can also see deers in a reserved corner of the park. Good experience.
Very peaceful. Ideal for walks and to contemplate nature.
I just love taking my dogs walking there! Not only are there Great walking trails, but things to see while you walk! I love all the old machinery and log buildings you can go inside with all the vintage bunks n kitchen etc! Wonderful hill …
Loved the peaceful clean and serene atmosphere.... Nicely perfectly windy under the trees. Loved It
Very nice, easy to social distance there because there are such big trails.
Had fun, can’t wait to go back
Nice trails, this time of the year I go there to pick wild mushrooms. But..There is a LOT of dog poop all over. Dogs running free and people don't clean up after.
Good place for a relaxing walk or run. Stuff for the little ones to explore.
It's a lovely place to go to when one just can't wait for Spring. There are benches to rest upon and enjoy the beautiful flowers! Met some friendly tourists and just passed a little time with suggesting other places to visit. They should have a small cafe section ( outdoors in summer and indoors in winter) for people / tourists / seniors who want to be surrounded in beauty and enjoy the company of others to pass the time of day. This way they would have regular visitors and would make a profit by selling coffee, tea, water, pop, desserts or even sandwiches. Giving seniors a regular place to go to and walk around in would give the Park great reputation for giving back to the community.
Clean calm family friendly
Beautiful park. Great trails very close to up town and entertainment.
Nice walk by the lake
A great place to take your dog and go for a walk such a beautiful scene when you look around that's why I've lived here my whole 42 years
Stopped here on my way East across Canada. What a beautiful park! Great place to exercise my dog and stretch my legs. The free museum was also very cool.
Good atmosphere
Excellent
Great place to do outdoor activities
Good space to do all of activities, enjoying the view of small hills and clean washrooms if need it :$ ????
Great place to enjoy a beautiful walk in the fresh air, while seeing all that Sarnia's water front has to offer. If u love to walk, enjoy the fresh air and since of community come check it for yourself. This is our go to and I hope it becomes yours.
Good. Nice to have a walk down, during winter a great place to go sledding. Nice playground right by the water and it's right beside a parking lot with a chip truck which is awesome!
Beautiful
Great place for a walk. Lots of beautiful flowers to stop and take pictures which serve as nice backgrounds. Lots of birds in the area we saw geese and ducks. The water is clean and the summer winds make it a great place to hang with the family. The fountain is fun too especially for the kids. Recommended to come here is you are in Sarnia.
One of the best hidden parks I have seen in Thunder Bay.
Nice walk for the dog, wish it was longer.
It's just a beautiful place to surround yourself with nature for a day!
A beautiful place to walk along the river. Make your way through the Marina parking lot and enjoy the trails in the Point lands.
Good weather and food. Great view.
Beautiful place that, all year-round, is great for running, hiking, walking, walking your dog, and seeing some nice sights. In the summer, it is also great for swimming. It has a great off-leash dog trail that is just outside of the main park.
Amazing place for all age groups. Splash pads could increase more attraction for young kids.
A great park with lots to offer year round. Beautiful trails, farm animals, train rides, sledding, and a playground are amongst the attractions of the park. It is generally well kept with minimal litter.
Nice walk along the waterfront.
Celebration of lights are always well done and music gets you in the festive mood.
Great for the kids
What's not to love about this amazing place there's always so much to do here if you're hiking or out with your dog this is a remarkable place
It was awesome being there at the celebration of lights and celebrating this with all the canadians and enjoyed the deadpool over there and the live band was awesome thanks for singing for us guys and the lights were awesome and the horse cart ride and finally the fireworks were the top of what we saw there it was cold and we enjoyed a lot. It was a great experience with all those people over there.
Great urban wilderness area to escape the hustle & bustle of city life
What a great park! There is something for everyone; baseball diamonds, playscapes, picnic areas and Washrooms! There is a ski hill, stadium and conservatory. The park itself is massive and great for strolling around or bike riding. There are lots of shady areas and parking!
Great walk up the hill and great view, could be better with the clouds tho! Still got a decent click! IG: Moody.Clx for more!
A great place for walking and biking and there’s pretty much nothing to complain about there.
There are some really nice trails in Centennial park, thunder Bay! Many scenic views as well! We went as a group and did 2 trails (a short trail and a long one) before heading back home. All the trails were properly marked and it was barely busy which I loved.
Take our dogs to the off leash site . Great hiking trails and beautiful views
Big and beautiful place. You will find Canadian goose here easily. There are two small lakes here as well. This is a really good place for a morning or an evening walk. Best for pet owners.
What a great job they did renovating this ballpark. People are friendly and very hospitable. A very enjoyable place to watch a ball game.
Love it????????????
Visit the greenhouse at this park! Beautiful plants of all kinds.
Great fun
One of the largest parks managed and maintained by the city of Toronto. A great work. It is completely free for anyone. You can organize your own picnics and other outdoor events here.
Just discovered it today, trail's everywhere, beautiful !!
It was a lot of fun to celebrate Canada Day 2019, and though the food options were few and far apart, it was still a great celebration. The annual fireworks display is masterfully created, and I highly recommend coming on special days and regular days. The park itself is well-maintained and clean, and it's a beautiful place to relax.
This place at the least is charming. I keep coming back to it eith my wife and we love it. When most of the places shut down in winterz this place is bustling with people and showing off its beauty it has to offer to all the wonderful people who come here and enjoy it to their hearts content
Beautiful place for hiking, taking photos, enjoy the nature, walk with your pets, and being relaxing
I love this place. The view is beautiful it's one of the best parts of summer just sitting down by the water collecting ur head.
Great MTB trails, well marked, maps everywhere you need them. No mosquitoes when we visited in early August.
Beautiful waterfront park, very well maintained wide walkway. Great spot to go for a walk or run
Its a great place to bring a toddler. The walking trail will easily accomodate a stroller too.
Well done, Sarnia, well done! I strolled the entire park while visiting on an overnight stay. Did most of it after dark and was completely safe. Beautiful park. Well-designed and cared-for, beautiful views all around. A must if you are staying anywhere nearby. Oh - the water fountain is the BEST!
Hidden gem of Thunder Bay!
Breathtaking views, atmosphere is alive with happy people and children playing. If you're not from Sarnia it's certainly with driving too!!
Soo clean and beautiful.... perfect for getaway...
Never been to sarnia before but amazingly it turned out well after seeing this lark and harbourfront. Countryside driving and late night spot is definitely on here. Love the vibe and people around here.
Perfect
Lorrie Mitoff Trail starting at Garnetwood Park Mississauga takes you through the woods along with the water stream, Etobicoke Creek. If you go straight it will go to the HWY 401 and if you take the right and cross the road at the end of it, you will find yourself near the lake. That’s the Centennial Park. A very nice spot for picnic, yoga, walk and enjoy with family and friends.
A nice place to sit, walk, run, bike, get together with friends, play in the park or at the playground. Lovely stretch along the water front.
The park is very calm and the cycle trail is the best for cycling.
Sarnia has such a beautiful waterfront. It is always a pleasure to take a stroll around the Bay and down the water.
Must see sunset spot.
Very tranquil and uncrowded
Like to fish down there beautiful.
Good place to relax and enjoy.
The river is beautiful and a perfect date location. I brought my girlfriend there and we had an amazing time.
It is a beautiful place to watch the water and boats, ir the people. Close McDonald's, 7-11, bank, and the Agora is there (gathering place) with clean spacious bathrooms that have wheelchair access
Beautiful walk along the gorgeous blue water. Nice paths, gardens, events and scenery. Fishing isn't so bad either The fish fountain is a neat feature too. Lovely place to take the whole family for walks, bike rides, walk the dog. Stunning place Could use a few more public bathrooms however.
Great park for all ages. Kept clean
Great trails
Love it here!
Big garden with lots of open space and greenery. View from the hill top is great. Great place for family outing.
Considering all of the unfortunate suprises of the past few years, the renovation of the park is coming along well. Up-to-date modern environmental standards were followed and when the grass grows back, it will be looking good as new.
A great place for dog adventures! Beautiful scenery.
not much to do here... but its a nice open park on the river... you can sit and watch that :)
Very nice place to hangout, The are waterfalls, Bike trails, walk trails, cliff jumping, swimming.
Great place for a hike with the family and pets!
Great walking trails, the old logging camp and the old equipment is great for taking pictures with.
Great place to go for various outdoor activities. Walking, running, rollerblading, cycling etc.. just to mention a few. Provides well paved paths to use. Great place to take kids as well to enjoy the outdoors. Recommend to anyone trying to figure out something different from their usual routine.
I laughed, I cried; it was better than CATS!!! It would have been better if the Muskeg Express was up and running. Maybe next visit?
I come often, day or night... i love this park, and I miss the Bayfests it used to host. In the winter there's celebration of lights, and in the summer there's boats.. all year round there's fishing (many ice fish here too as well!) As a photographer Ive done many sessions here, one of the best bike or longboard paths, beautiful flowers/foliage all year round. Even has a natural habitat trail behind the marina.. The only negative thing I can say is sometimes there is homeless or drug addicts in the vicinity because of the location... there is a free needle exchange right next door. If you don't stray off the path much you won't run into them as much.
Amazing beautiful park lots of fun
Great popular placs in the day, and Safe to go there at night
Relaxing hike.
Beautiful trail .. Lovely place for a walk or run or bike ride ..
Very nice park my children enjoy this park every time we go there
I have many cherished childhood memories here. Its an integral part of Thunder Bay. I hope the city will upkeep the park and keep it for more children to make happy memories for many years to come!
Great place to bring your kids. Lots of play structures. Good hiking trail to walk your pets
Very nice waterfront walk, nice park, and I saw 2 baby ducks. Would rate 5 stars if the duck would've swam closer
Never thought I’d miss a park. I’m from out of town. I spent a few days in town walking around here and it was nothing short of relaxing and enjoyable. Just walking around, you get great views of the St. Clair River one side or Sarnia’s downtown on the other. They hold events here in the summer as well.
Open to the public. Fountain on. Fries on the truck and birds waiting to take them from you. Beautiful view of the river, the marina and Sarnia Bay. What more can you ask for
Good place for sledging even with winter on it's way out.
Centennial Park is an awesome place to go.... there is an off leash area and great walking / hiking trails
Love the off leash dog park, great trails for pups
Picnic tables, benches, garbage cans. Pretty clean. We didn't actually get to the kids playground but the water edge was nice. We watched a gentleman fish. People are so nice in these areas. We watched the geese and it was funny to see one go under and swim. Never seen that before. There was a fry truck so of course we had poutine, it was the best yet!
Sarnia has some of the nicest waterfronts I have seen. Plus all the beautifully manicured gardens and parks!!
Beautiful
Combination of natural scenario and small tracking point.
Beautiful park right downtown!
Close to nature
Nice park to take a stroll
Really nice hiking trail. Not too difficult and the weather was lovely. Definitely recommend. Just be careful as it is an off leash park so you might encounter dogs
Wow...what an amazing Christmas lights display all along the boardwalk! Puts Ottawa and other larger cities to shame. The citizens of Sarnia should be proud.
Well maintained park with quality walking paths along the Bay. Theres a fry truck located in the parking lot during the summer months.
Main Attraction of this park is its access to Lake Superior
Looking at the stars and city lights
Beautifulllll ! Ran for my life away from mosquitoes, but all worth the waterfall view. ^.^
A beautiful park with a nice pond and gorgeous weeping willow trees. Close to the Centennial park conservatory.
Great recreational place
Perfect place like paradise.
This park is the home of a wonderful conservatory. Great selection of plants that changes throughout the year.
Was a beautiful day hiking in the snow down the trails!
Great place to go for a walk by yourself or with friends and family. Bring the kids or your dog. Please remember to pick up after your pooch it would be a very sad day if dogs got banned ????.
Centennial Park - an amazing park. Great green area in the city. There is also a green house in the park with wide range of plant display.
Centennial Park is situated in downtown Sarnia. It offers stunning views of the marina. On land, you can find several monuments and many beautiful flowers in spring and summer.
Great family friendly place where the kids can enjoy themselves and use up some energy it is also a great spot for the parrents to just sit and relax by the water and enjoy some outdoor time
Due to covid not many people were there .... It was a great experience
Nice park, the cherry blossoms are almost open. There are two idiots make fool of people around. They are not even that teenager to this much idiocy to be acceptable. They "hide" a broken cell phone in plain sight with a note saying "this s*** is broken hahaha". We're not from here so we don't really know the park to have it delivered to someone from administration. The idiots sit at distance and laugh loudly at people checking the broken phone. Must have a very boring life to waste time doing this.
great place for a swim
Great and well maintained park. At first it looks like a very small park or a large field with no trees depending on which area you go to but if you explore a bit it, it has a lot of these secluded areas that give you this feeling of privacy where you can have a picnic with your family and almost feel like your in your own backyard (albeit a much larger version). It has benches in multiple areas and trash and recycling bins all over for easy clean up at the end.
Breathtaking views year round, and miles of trails for hiking and mountain biking. A good amount of the trail is right next to the creek which makes for easy access for taking a shallow dip.
Love this park :)
Beautiful but occasionally gets a bit crowded
Great park in Mississauga area. Lots of green, picnic areas, trails. Perfect place for a family with kids to have some fun. The park is very well maintained. Trails for jogging in good conditions. Lots os parking areas making it easy to access.
Great place for a nature walk anytime of the year.
It's ok, not much thing to see or trees to hide from the sun. There are better park around plus there are parks near the water. Sooo..
Fresh air, not crowded. Great place to walk and take pictures.
Love the historical logging camp area. The Muskeg Express was closed when we visited but would come back when it's running again!
Great place to hike with natural beauty
One of the more beautiful walks in town
Great park to spend time with family and friends, lovely Japanese Sakuras trees (Cherry Blossom) Huge conservative area covering 500 acres, however could not view all the plants as it was closed due to Covid.
Beautiful place to walk through in Sarnia.
Absolutely love visiting the park, lovely view of the water and always nice and clean.
Nice park on the waterfront with a new dock for the boats. It also has a band shell for local entertainment. Nice walkway along the waterfront to enjoy.
We had a wonderful time with friends and family, there are Go- cart and other things that will interest the kid in you; however I rather you show up with the BBQ and that will make my stay much more relaxing ????
Love this place sooo very much always a wonderful time
Pathways, the bay...big boats, little boats, twin bridge's lit up a night, fry trucks, and the new Agora outdoor gathering for live music usually Friday evenings through the summer... Of course, the fireworks and also, the Cancer Society Memorial. Festival lights at Christmas...it's magical and a Christmas tradition... Literally... The harbour and hub ... And so pretty...
(Translated) Small stop on the road, land with space and quite intimate. Very respectable sanitary block. It would be nice to put hooks in the shower. (Original) Petit arrêt sur la route, terrain avec de l'espace et assez intime. Bloc sanitaire bien respectable. Il serait bien gentil de mettre des crochets dans la douche.
Beautiful Park
Centennial Park and Trowbridge Falls make up a large selection of interconnectes trails in the North end of the city. The oversite and maintainance of these areas is understaded, giving a more naturalistic feel as you explore the forest on either side of the Current River. Not a huge conservancy, but a wild local parkland, with many kilometers of light hiking, biking, or walking the dogs. Be mindful that low lying areas will accumulate water, and appropriate care and footwear are required. Its great to get outside!
Lovely , great washrooms
Lots of beautiful natural secenery.Im sure that everyone will love here.
A delightful little nature sanctuary just a few miles away from Toronto. Keep warm inside this natural colorful and peaceful place. Plenty of parking spaces too.
Holy cow. Where do I even begin. On my trip this was the place I was least excited for. I didn't really know a whole lot about it, and when we got there the road there and the entrance weren't much of a looker. But when you get back to the …
Nice enough, for Thunder Bay anyway. Just don't go there for a run, there's a choke point at the dam and there's always somebody moving really slow across it.
It's a cool place to visit and there's lots of stuff to do.
The lights were very pretty. I like that the park is on the waterfront.
Beautiful park on the waterfront sarnia featuring art work, historic monuments, walking paths and children's play areas.
Loved walking through to admire the Japanese cherry blossoms. The conservatory was a wonderful surprise... A, stunning array of flowering bushes, tropical plants and trees!
Beautiful hiking trails. Plus farm animals!
We went to this park recently for cherry blossoms viewing but we're disappointed as the buds are not blossomed yet. This is a huge park with many picnic areas, Go Karting, walking trails and a greenhouse with variety of flowers and cactus. There is a childrens playing area too and I guess this park will be a busiest park in summers.
Love it so did my dog.
Beautiful park, along the Sarnia bay, great view of the river...as if you are on holidays !
We.love the wooden play structures. There is no other like them. Makes this alot more exciting, new play strategies for.the kids and parents alike.
Great place grew up around here . Good swimming . Rocks are warm in the summer . If you bring your goggles you can see fish too . Fun for the whole family .
Beautiful trails for many of miles. They offer sleigh rides in the winter and have old cabins the loggers used to use in the old days.
(Translated) Interesting and enigmatic (Original) Interesante y enigmático
Nice trails for walking, biking, or skiing. The trail system is well marked. In the spring some of the trails may be quite muddy, wear appropriate footwear.
It is a beautiful walk, bike or run along the water. There is lots of nice gardens and it's always nice to see all the ducks and geese. The new renovations at the park looks good but will look even better in a few years when the trees get bigger.
Good park lot of open space, good picnic areas.
Pretty park
Good waterfront park with canoe or kayak launch platform! Boat launch on other side of bay. It's beautiful and I love kayaking there.
Great walking trails, relaxing atmosphere in city limits
Nice out there
Lovely and charming little spot just beside Thunder Bay
Beautiful place to go for a walk
Great hiking and biking trails. It's a nice walk through nature.
Beautiful area to walk and explore
love this place! great for walking, birding , close to the city as well!
This park is located along Sarnia Bay and is great for year round use. Park is not normally too busy unless there is a special event happening. The city has provided lots of seating and takes great care with the landscaping.
Beautiful views, accessible pathways
Great view, beautiful walkways and lot's of park benches. I really enjoyed Sarina yesterday!
Nice clean area to walk and watch the shipping boats pass by.
Nice Sarnia water front, good for walking and site seeing the boats passing on st Clair river
Nice park, Great sledding hill in winter and beautiful hiking/biking paths during the summer. Also great place for white water kayaking for beginners.
Excellent place for walks with children and pets ????
This place was exactly in front of your hotel HarbourFront Inn. 4 minutes walk. If you are in Sarnia, add this place on your list.
Good for families and friends and small children nice place
Has a bit of everything here! Hockey area, sports fields, skiing, hiking, biking, go karts! Batting cages, beach volleyball, and a green house to name a few! So many things to do!
This park is awesome! It streches quite the distance. Lots of walking trails. Some fallow around the shore line of boulevard lake. The bluff just just north of the lake provides more trails to walk and superior views. The walls at the …
Beautiful park
It's just awesome to walk beside the river. Peaceful. One of the best places in thunder bay
Very nice place for a leisurely walk and outdoor activity
A great place to take the family for a nice walk. Nice flowers and scenery. A little park. Restaurants along the way. Nice breeze of the river. Well enjoyed.
A beautiful Riverwalk with spectacular views of the St Clair river. There is a newly installed accessible kayak dock installed by the City of Sarnia. Being a highly active and motivated paraplegic is part of the reason for the trip from London.
Gorgeous park, friendly people. Great to get out for a walk.
It's a quite place with beautiful sights to the river St. Claire and trails to walk and ride your bycicle
If you want to do ciclysm here, is perfect for that... Then of that you can swim in some parts of the river...
Great for a picnic or a hike in the summer cross country skiing and sledding in the winter
Well marked and wide trails. Beautiful scenes along the current river. Great respite from urban stress minutes from downtown
Loved it. Enjoyment in both weather summer and winter. I'm Summer you can walk, climb to mountain jogging, cycling, Soccer, Go carting, mountain bikes. In Winter you can do skiing ⛷.
It's very pretty. It is well kept and spacious. There's plenty of parking and we enjoyed our walk.
Excellent walking trails in good condition
The park with literally everything! At great spot for both winter and summer and if your into disc sports, this is the place. If you have a bike, you'll be in heaven with the awesome track they have, and if you just want to walk and chill, this is a great place. Ample of parking and a very convenient location. We went up the little hill that has a trail and my boys enjoyed it. You should visit if you haven't been here already.
Small indoor venue with lots to see. One way traffic for social distancing. It is warm inside so dress accordingly.
Must visit place if you are in Thunder-bay.
Pleasant park with mature trees and a large pond. Even there is a small water falls.
Very nice park, great mountain bike trails
Absolutely gorgeous day! Although a bit windy, a glorious time to be outside enjoying a pint at Big Family Brewing Co.
Great walk with a very scenic river
Good place to explore the Sarnia waterfront.
Great park, lots of room to run around. Only downfall is the pressure treated play structure.
It's not closed anymore, so Yay for that. It's still the same as I remember long ago as a child. Not sure if the hills are still there, I am afraid to check, but it's nice.
lots of people go here ; very family friendly , not a good place to smoke a j
It is a beautiful park, well maintained and most of the times clean. The problem are people leaving garbage around after each weekend. Today we noticed a big section of the forest where the trees have been cut. I guess a disease. Hopefully they will get the area clean to plant new trees again.
Great walking trails
Beautiful night for a visit to the City of Sarnia, Celebration of Lights. Lots of families walking amongst the displays admiring the flashing of the lights and the music.
I take my kid to practice batting . I just wish it was more affordable. You get 20 pitching per token . Each token is about 4 dollars . . Balls are coming are separated in different speed or cages . But overall is really good practicing. Practice makes perfection .
Love This Place!
This is always such a gorgeous park to go to. I love being able to enjoy festivals and plain jane days at this park. It's so relaxing being surrounded by all the nature Centennial provides. I especially love Christmas time with all the lights in the park. It's absolutely gorgeous. It seems to get better every year now, which is exciting. It's interesting to see the new displays they have. The park is also very close to downtown and delicious cafes and restaurants.
Great place to be in the nature and go for a hike or biking trails.
Quiet with all kinds of trails for hiking and a great place if you play Pokemon Go
Great place in the city to calm and relax. Eell maintained and easy parking.
I used to visit this park as a child. Still the same as ever. So amazing! Brought my great niece here and was so cool to see her playing in the same park I played it so many times????
Nice park, play ground for kids, and usually a fry truck parked there. Awesome views and good place to go hang out for a bit and go for a walk.
The best thing about Centennial park is that it’s ever changing! The beautiful views from the top of the ski hill and wild areas. There’s also groomed walkways and trails. I love visiting the greenhouse ESPECIALLY in the winter. It’s a nice pick me up when the snow and cold weather get you down lol.
Nice walks on the waterfront. Great places to eat & drink nearby.
One of the biggest and best parks in Etobicoke/Mississauga. You'll always find space. It has multiple baseball arenas, soccer posts and more. It also has a Go-Karting arena which is really fun too! Overall it's a great park for any occasion!
Great trails to hike or snowshoe. Nice playground for the kids
Beautiful gardens facing the United States ???????? on the Canadian side of the water
Lovely place to walk in winter.
Great place for a family visit to the park or a picnic
Great views of the marina and river, with the classic Sarnia industrial skyline to the South. Wide, qell paved path along the waterfront. Safe and friendly fellow park visitors.
Always a nice park to visit. Besides all of the amenities, the ponds are nice to walk around and there is always plenty of parking and space for privacy within the park. The best part for me are the views that you can get from the top of the ski hill. The Toronto and Mississauga skylines both look pretty great from here, nice to see at sunrise or sunset.
Magnificent walk and evening under the moon, very peaceful.
A great family place for hiking.
A good place to relax on the St. Clair river. You will get a clear view of the United States across the river, and can see the Bluewater Bridge from here. The park has a nice pathway to follow along the water whether you're walking, biking, or rollerblading. The park is lit up around the winter holidays with "the festival of lights." A good place to visit for any tourist or newcomer, Centennial Park provides ample room for exploring, however it is not as big as Canatara Park (which is Sarnia's largest park, and boarders the lake and has a traditional sandy beach). Centennial is perfect for sunset viewing. There are parking lots and benches that face the river to provide an optimal viewing and relaxing experience.
No one knows how to clean up after their dogs. They just let them take a dump right on the sidewalk and won't pick it up. So. What your step! The Christmas lights were nice though.
The park is beautiful in all it's natural beauty for all of us to enjoy~ my girlfriend and her son have lot's of fun exploring the numerous trails~trails are well marked and groomed for all fitness levels~user's are friendly and respectful of Covid-19 safety measures~dog walkers do pickup up after their animals, old log cabins, logging equipment of day's gone by are fun for young boy's to explore, etc~the park is clean~ no trash thrown around~ fun place for families to attend
Love bringing my dog to the off leash walking trail. Some people keep their pups on a lease (makes leashed dogs defensive) when my big girl (shepherd/husky) wants to go check them out. I can call her back though. So it's a good idea to bring your dog here and not allow them to approach leashed dogs. It's a beautiful 15 minute slow walk. I usually turn around and go back to make it a longer walk for my girl. We love it. Careful on super windy days, trees tend to fall over the trail.
This is a city of thunder bay run park it has an original bush camp kitchen a running train for the kids to tour the park so a good place to bring the family on an outing
Lovely place to visit with the whole family
Great experience
Visited Artscape in Centennial Park and the Tall Ships Festival. Excellent weather, venues and activities! Bravo Sarnia!!
Great for family
Every clean and well kept park. Beautiful place to take photos.
Nice walk along the st clair river
Nice walk and looks like the a homeless man lives at the small fountain. Harmless but just sketchy comcidering there's a park 100 meters away .
Nice place to go for a walk, but needs to have better stronger WI-FI for the area
The park is big, good for many sports. There are also 50m and 25y indoor pools built in 1975 but recently renovated. Recommend it!
Love the river, it's a great place to walk nice view of the water. Walking distance to restaurants or sit and relax.
Easy hiking and great for families
Lovely at Christmas with the lights!!! Also a very nice park to walk, even at night.
Cool by the river meet people
Beautiful and I'm happy it's dog friendly. Wish I could see the river more but other than that, it's a good trail.
Beautiful park great place to stop and watch the great Lake freighters go through
A hidden gem of Thunder bay nice walking trails all the way up to trowbridge camp ground
I have been going to this park since childhood, it is a lovely place to hike or bike in the warmer months and cross country ski or snowshoe in the winter. It is a beautiful place for a picnic or to just hang out in a natural setting.
Beautiful views. Newly constructed rock waterfront areas. Cool waterfall. Dockside restaurant and another small independent coffee shop close by. Great for a morning walk.
It was beautiful and quiet!
Lots of trail options. On and off leash dog areas. Great for biking, running, walking and getting some fresh air
Not much here other than a nice view and a playgrounds. Good spot for the kids as there's usually not many people there.
I like coming of the water most relaxing, and some of the boats .
Interesting place for a walk. Has an off leash dog area
Nice park. Lots of space. Well kept. Only sad part is people smoke pot openly.
Great Park wonderful nature trails.
Great place to BBQ with the family. Lots of green space and parking.
Very clean and not so busy park. Good for a walk or bike along the waterfront. They even have a kayak launching dock on the far north end of the waterfront.
Always a beautiful place to visit rain or shine
We stopped here before crossing the border to the States. We were pleasantly surprised to find such a nice park on the water. It allowed us to stretch our legs and get some fresh air before waiting in traffic. Thanks for maintaining it so well Sarnia!
Love this park. It is by the water. You can watch boats, freighters. There are restaurants nearby.
Great play area! Beautiful view of bay and river. Looking forward to seeing nearby trees grow and mature for shade.
The cash attendant, extremely clear, empathic and patient!!! Jenna - sweetest gem, and personable, Giovanni -can you be promoted because your verification of safety checks is impeccable (as a advocate of child-safety and wellbeing), and Keanu, so calm, so chill! I look forward to visiting again...
A beauty of a park along the Bay in Sarnia .. A lovely walk along the water .. Gorgeous flower display in the summer!
Awesome place ..
Awesome biking,hiking and running trails
Love the events they hold here
Bathroom for handicap a real truck to find. First found mens had to search for womans. Too hard; too long; too far in to bathroom. Knock out wall put seperate door & false wall inside. Cheaper than was done for no reason in city hall...
This place is so refreshing to be close to the water with beautiful views. Take a break and check out this place.
My favorite park, visit every year when I can peaceful great atmosphere, beautiful scenery
It was excellent and lots of trails to take a walk.the Arcade with games and go karts was really fun.
Went to OMG Poutine which is a food truck in Centennial Park. Absolutely amazing. I got the Thanksgiving special. It weighed almost 2 pounds. Major line up so plan accordingly but so worth the wait.
Always a nice place to walk the dogs or watch the fireworks
Very well maintained just a beautiful place to relax and enjoy the Waterfront
Theodore the tugboat at Centennial Park Sar Nia
Beautiful park
I was just in Thunder Bay for visit. But if I lived here the off leash dog area would be a weekly visit for me and my pup.
Well kept park in the summer. In the winter they do a good job with the celebration of lights.
Great playground for the kids. Large network of trails for hiking and biking. An old logging camp for a history lesson. A large tobogganing hill (or a small ski hill with no lift). Some animals to look at too. Nice park.
Beautiful
A great park space, with lots of space and plenty of activity spaces. If your looking for a place to picnic with the family, go for a walk, or play some sports there is a spot for that here
Awesome trails
My wife and i enjoyed sitting on the bench in front of the water. We grabbed lunch from McDonalds and took in all the scenery.
The best place for a walk in the bush. Love the horses. I hope they can stay.
Has everything you could ever need and want in a park for a fun day out with beautiful scenery
Team Kaliga Recommends the park for outdoor activity and having a one hour walk burning lot of calories Team Kaliga Recommends this beautiful location of Toronto . Buy and Sell and Invest in Toronto Homes with Team Kaliga your Local Guide expert visit TeamKaliga.com
We like sitting there and watching the boats and freights go by in the summer time....We enjoy a sub from the variety across the street...tasty!!
Beautiful place to go to ride your bike or go for a walk and beautiful beach 5 minutes from it and love the park
Historical
Had a nice walk along the beach
I sit there often with the wife and enjoy the view while having something to eat.
It's all lit up with Christmas lights looks nice
It is a wonderful park on Sarnia Bay and part of the beautiful St.Clair River. The park was established in 1967, hence the name Centennial Park on Canada's 100 Birthday. There has been additions and expansions over the years but a few years ago they found some kind of " spagooge " seeping up through the ground in a particular area and closed that section off and removed and replaced that area of soil. It was reopened about a week or so this year just before Canada Day 150. We took a walk from end to end and it is almost returned to it's previous glory.
Opened before finishing reconstruction. New did and trees dying due to not being watered. All benches and picnic tables are black and in the full sun. Can't sit on them too hot. Playground is smaller with less structures, no shade and 1 bench. City of Sarnia got taken to the cleaners over this one. Clean up company under bid to get job, then kept digging up more contaminants to make more money. Safe and cheaper have just let it, digging it up released more.
great place to hit some trails and get out in nature
Great walking trails, and great off leash dog area
Beautiful water falls, easy hike. There are many trails, which aren't marked properly
Beautiful and quiet
Beautiful place to spend time at.
Absolutely beautiful!!! Don't want to miss going there....It was the highlight of our visit !
Amazing trials for hiking and cycling
Looks pretty good for a 100 year old park.
Love to walk along the river! Awesome to see the city adding a kayak dock!
Trails are great and River majestic
(Translated) Super nice park. The water is beautiful. Several people are bathing. (Original) Super beau parc. L'eau est belle. Plusieurs personnes se baignent.
I enjoy the view at this place at the one end of the park. At the other end of park people who are intoxicated are passed out on the ground. I think that they need a program that has authority to make it safer for children. I do enjoy walking at the other end with the dog up and down the hills.
Very nice park with amazing views. Lots of good trails, beautiful fall colours, and lots of activities both in all seasons. Lots of parking space.
Nice trail systems. Use Wayfinder app for trail routes.
Great place to burn off that cake by walking up the ski hill. look at the tree up close.
Very well maintained. Great walkways and trails. Hold picnics, soccer games, friends hangouts or heck fly a kite. Lots to see and do alone, with friends or family.
Great for walks, just watch for unleashed dogs.
Good place to walk
Nice park. Great play ground I love the large sidewalks. Needs some shady areas.
Beautiful little park!
Fantastic! We went sledding
Great trails!
Nice place to sit and have your lunch, when you need a little break
Sarnia is lucky enough to have waterfronts, let alone a waterfront as nice and accessable as this one. A must see when visiting.
Great park, plenty of greenspace. Nice walking trails.
A peaceful place to sit and watch the water, sunset and people gazing.
The park is beautiful, there’s a great view of the water and lots of places to sit ranging from in the sun to in the shade under the trees. One downside would be there are quite a few seagulls, but there are also lots of ducks and the occasional goose and it’s always fun to spend an afternoon sitting by the water and feeding the ducks!
Highways nicely built
It doesn't matter the time of year, Centennial Park will always be one of my favorite locations in Sarnia.
best spot for a relaxed atmosphere
The trails had signs posted to remind people to socially distance themselves. Very nice
A very nice park. There is a little train you can ride and some logging equipment to view.
The park is huge. It's nice and clean. It's a really nice park to walk. Lots of rest areas. Nice that people can bring their dogs ( but please pick up after them ).
Enjoyed playing music for a Soca Dance group
Always a nice time at the park
Beautiful views of the water. One of the best places to be in order to be one of the first to know weather the plants are having issues, or if it's business as usual. Unfortunately under-used most of the time, but has hosted some amazing events and concerts in the past.
Beach. Open fields. Playground equipment. Sports fields. An animal (petting) farm. Many events and food trucks in warmer weather. Public bathrooms and public swimming.
Second most beautiful spot in Port Huron.
A nice place to take a relaxing stroll along the waterfront.
Great
Love it!
Well kept park. Michigan is visible from here
Best place to reach by bus. Enjoy nature.
It was beautiful out and the snow was packed. Great for walking the trails.
Love swiming here, not bugghy at all.
Really nice. It is possible to ride a real train. The kids love it.
I love walking there. And can't wait until summer I will be going back to events there.
Lots of bike trails and walking trails for public use. Sledding hill is a blast in the winter.
It’s a beautiful place to have fun with family and friends . We had a wonderful time Conservatory is beautiful
Very pretty
Me and the grand kids had the best time. We walked on the paths, went to the beach and the park. We had so much fun.
A great place for a run, walk or bike. A fun playground for young kids. Also great for sledding in the wintertime.
Beautiful clear water but very rocky
Alright
Best small town fire works I've seen The park is pretty and well maintained Definitely a must visit if you're here
The flowers are so pretty this year. Ducks were in the puddles from today's rain. We saw Theodore Too the tugboat who was on display for the weekend, I think. The beautiful waterside walkway is amazing. Lots of great restaurants to visit up the hill.
Beautiful spot
What a beautiful park. All the water for your water furry guy to play in and love his life. The people were friendly as hell which is also a good thing. If your in the area and need a place for you furry guy go here well worth the trip.
All new for me it has been 5 yrs since I fished St Clair river the old park and boat launch all filled in reland scaped I used Sarnia Bay Marine the new boat launch is top notch parking was perfect and at $13 the best priced launch I've used in Ontario
Awesome scenery, great picnic area and free parking!!! Nice BMX park and a wide frisbee park. Also, you get a glimpse of Pearson Airport and the takeoff/landing of airplanes. Lastly, hike up the hill and you don't just get a nice view, there's also a short skii/snowboard area with lift. Highly recommended park to visit here in Toronto!!!
Love Centennial Park! Beautifully kept, and a place for a great walk!
Nice place for a walk. Normally not too busy. Waterfront much improved. Hope gardens get planted this year.
No bathrooms after 3:30
Fresh snowfall, trees, walking trails, solitude. It was a sunny day, an experience to take a hike on very well marked trails was stupendous. Time to clear the brain and plenty of fresh air.
Scenic trails and the best part is there is a leash free area for your pets!
Beautiful park. City workers keep this park free of litter and plant beautiful flowers each year.
Love the views at all hours of the day. an hey u may even catch a few cougar sightings
Centennial Park is a nice place to take your lunch, sit and watch the water. There are picnic tables and benches or sit in your vehicle if you get front row parking.
Awesome place to see cherry blossoms in Spring!!!
Going swimming with bernard!
It's a cool place to go
Beautiful place
Great place to walk the dogs and interesting history of the old logging
Cherry blossom, it's looking wonderful. Must go to place in this weekend. Small pond is surrounded with beautiful tress. It's a huge park, go with family, kids and spend the day. Picnic area, for kids play area, washroom, parking is there.
Beautiful..serene..place
The city did this right. The flowers are spectacular and the waterfront walk is lovely.
Amazing place, great trails beautiful sites, River and in the winter a sledding Hill.
It's an ok park. Barely any shade. Good playground for kids, but that's it. Nothing special or proprietary about this park. Head to Germain or Canatara. 2/5
Quiet place to walk and bike.
Is turning into a concrete jungle and for that reason , I am extremely disappointed. Mind you , it is a wonder place to walk, run or bike (or what be your fancy) so dont hesitate to enjoy the view of the Saint Clair River by taking a walk on the boardwalk of the border city. I recommend an evening stroll during sun set . What a sight to behold.
Great trails, nicely groomed.
Lots to do great for kids pets and families
Beautifull every time of year
Best trails in the area!
Beautiful park and beach, well maintained, clean washrooms. More sand area would be nice overall very nice
Absolutely amazing park. Very big with a variety of sports available including baseball diamonds, soccer fields and competitive Frisbee courses. I believe they may also gold. The park itself is huge, with plenty of trials to walk on. The park has a lot of spaces to hit with friends or to arrange barbecues. Great park.
Nice place, good fishing, you can really see the stars at night!
Wonderful trails for every hiker, novice or advanced. This area is enjoyed by many, in all seasons. FYI: Centennial Park has a well maintained petting zoo. Home of some gorgeous clydesdales who provide enjoyable fall and winter sleigh rides.
Grass was pretty patchy and uneven. Worked Ribfest 2017 so only really saw the open space and parking lot. Ran over odd curb structure leaving lot.
Super hills, lotsa room for spacing
Naturally beautiful , needs more human touches and services to add more enjoyment to locals as well to tourists.
(Translated) Super natural PARK. Just a pity that the highway crosses it (Original) Super PARC naturel. Juste dommage que l' autoroute le traverse
It's a great park to go to.park employees were visiting frequently for checking clean up.so we enjoyed our get together with friends.
Things at Centennial look great, Sarnia parks have been doing a lot to make our parks better, especially since the whole asb*stos thing.
Medium sized fun park. Perfect for dates. Try biking along Sarnia's boardwalk. Great spots for fishing.
Wonderful place!! Great sceanary! Great for being in the water on a hot day! It is a fabulous place to walkthrough, lots of trees and very large rocks and huge Boulder's to sit on and take pictures of. But, there is No Wifi which gives a very peaceful and lasting appreciation for nature.
Always loved this little gem of a park. Beautiful views of the marina, and lovely walking and biking paths to enjoy as well.
Best Relaxing place lots of Nature and Fresh cut Fries
I'm blessed to have such beauty in my backyard when you live so close so many don't take advantage which is do sad.
Beautiful well kept gardens, lots of comfortable benches. The walkway is shared by bikes, walkers, strollers... Well maintained bathrooms.
Nice place to sit outside and enjoying the weather. Very beautiful park
Great place to bring the family. Sure wish they had a concession stand! Love to visit the animals. Lots of trails to walk/bike. Play area for kids, old time log cabins to walk through, sledding in the winter.
They have a great walk path along the water w/ beautiful flowers in the summer but watch out for the geese sqat.
A really nice park on the water, a great place to relax on a summer day.lots of free parking.
It was nice to sit and relax and not worry about too many ppl around.
Such a beautiful place. Nice and clean. Lots of trees for shade.

LOVE IT THERE near Stokes My 2 dogs Oscar n Storm looking for an easy duck dinner. lol
Nice hiking trails and a good place for kids
A beautiful park on the St. Clair river. Wonderful views and lots of space to picnic and stroll along the river.
Maintenance is stellar helping it to be one of the best places in town for a jog or walk the dog.
The best place to sightseeing in downtown
One of Ontario's best waterfront parks! Beautiful gardens and views of the river as you take a relaxing stroll.
This is a very nice park with many different areas to park and explore. Only wish that the trash receptacles were cleared more frequently. The overflowing waste takes away from the beauty of this place.
Peaceful clean and open to the water. Lovely place for a lunch from Dolly's Jerk.
