We sat in our car and watched a dog having the best time of its life in the water, just off the public beach. Such entertainment coupled with the beautiful scenery and gorgeous weather made a very pleasant outing for my husband and me.

Beautiful, clear water beach. Shallow water with lifeguards on duty. You can swim out to the deep where there is a huge boulder witch is perfect for jumping and diving off! Also, there is a playground for added entertainment for the little ones.

Swimming to the Rock is a right of passage. If you haven't been to the Rock you shouldn't ever refer to yourself as an "Elliot Laker"

This is a review from someone who lives here and let me just say this is the best beach in Elliot Lake! There’s times of the day where it’s supervised and some times it’s not so you can go whenever! Also, there’s a public washroom near it so if you need to change you can go there. The only time you can’t swim here is in winter as the water is all frozen. One last thing this beach is the home of Elliot Lake’s famous rock!

My son and I went to the Elliot Lake Winterfest and he had alot of fun on the horse and sleigh and on the dog sled team as well. They had alot of volunteers to make this a success. Bonfires and roasted marshmallows. Place to attend in March

Even tho we didn't take any pictures. Our experience at the beach was very warming. Also a wheelchair ramp where someone who is in wheelchair can go swimming. Very awesome

Spruce Beach is a place I have swam for almost 30 years now. I was a little disappointed to see the dock is gone. The buoys have been updated but the swimming area is probably smaller by 25% now. My daughter and I swam to the rock to jump off a few times. It's a great place to bring the family. A true gem in the city.

Beautiful beach,clean,not pet friendly however almost anyone with pet goes there early in the morning to let the pooch cool down. Sandy beach and crystal clear water that's look warm is what I and my pupps look forward to every morning when we are there...
