What a wonderful place to find after touring the Oaklawn Zoo, its definitely a hidden gem of a place. The staff was very helpful and friendly. It has a good variety of fruit's and vegetables, and of homemade different products. Truly a nice place to stop and pick up products and visit the children's play area where they can see the wildlife. Will definitely be back for more produce and jams.

The owner of the orchard is a mean spirited greedy hateful person. She has a way of speaking down to you, prices are ridiculous. As well as they have made it clear they are not part of the community by turning away members of churches, foodbanks and other associations dedictaed to helping others . she wouldnt even donate a single cherry to the foodbank.

Went on a field trip with my daughter's primary class. Learned so much and the kids all had a blast learning about preservation of water, how to grind flour (they even made their own buns!) Then they were able to make butter & ice cream and feed the baby animals!

The farm has a very nice set up with a variety of u-pick items, a petting zoo, shop and tea room. I was put off with the $2 admission charge since it was for both kids and adults. The admission also wasn't communicated to us until after we had finished picking berries.

The upick operates for many of the summer/spring months (if not all of them?) as fruits and veggies come in and out of season. I've been here for cherries, blueberries and peaches over a number of years and it's well worth the effort. Prices are great, you can eat to your heart's content while you pick, and the staff are always so welcoming. Oh, but watch for the odd spider-bro. I nearly gave one a kiss last time I went.

This farm almost has it all, from naturally cultivated strawberries to cherries, peaches, corn etc. This is where I always go for picking. It has a small canteen too where you can buy snacks or sandwiches.

A fantastic experience for all. Whether you are looking for a family outing, romantic walk or farm adventure. The staff is efficient and entertaining paying attention to the details. The farm market is quaint and well apointed offering unique gift items and works of local artisans along with fresh produce and products grown on the farm. The U-pick is extensive with seasonal fruit and vegetables throughout the growing season. The petting zoo and playground offers entertainment for the younger members of your family while you relax and enjoy the scenery. What a beautiful setting.

Our family goes here a a few times a month and they really has a great setup and wonderful options for fruits especially. 12 types of cherries, various types of pears and apples that all taste amazing. Add that to a great staff led by Allison who is always keen to put a bottle in a child's hand to feed the goat kids or lambs and hand an unsuspecting parent a chicken to hold. What a great little friendly place to get some fresh produce! The walkways are pretty bumpy so I wouldn't recommend bringing any babies requiring a stroller like I did, other than that the prices are great and so is the variety.

This place is amazing. While no corn maze, that's fine. There are wagon rides. Pumpkins. Grapes, pears, apples. The petting farm is by far the best. The goats, sheep, cow, bunnies, chickens have always been a highlight for my kids. Hands down a wonderful family outing. And while we packed lunches we were full off the yummy bakery there!!!

We love going to Dempseys Corner! We go at least once a year. Allison is extremely knowledgeable about the foods they produce. My only complaint is that it was nearly impossible to figure out what Apple trees produced which apples, the map they give you is not helpful when trying to find specific apples. The prices on produce is cheap and we were able to get a lot for a little cost.

We always seem to pick the crop that is all the way up the hill and in the back. Lol Great exercise and always fresh produce. We always enjoy ourselves and the petting zoo animals are always fun. Call before going to find out what us ripe.

I have been to this farm four times. I had a good time all four times until the end of the last visit. We went there with our 2 and 4 years old girls. They got scared when a goat approached them and started crying. We tried to calm them down. But before we got the chance we were approached by one of the staff who started off asking what the problem is. Then within seconds without any warning she flipped 180 degrees and started screaming histerically saying we have to leave now. My wife was carrying our 2 years old and we started walking towards the gate she started pushing my 4 year old and just screaming like a crazy person. We warned her not to touch the kid anymore. She started screaming that she never touched the kid and how bad parents we are. All this did not bother me because I have seen alot of crazy bipolar people in my lifetime. But the kicker was how the owner dealt with the situation claiming that the kids we scaring her pets and other kids. I wish that there was a video camera that shows how no goats or kids were scared or even cared that those kids were crying. Actually the bird scaring auto noise for the cherries trees was way scarier louder or scarier than any kid can be. There are plenty of farms on the way before and after that one. You can go there just make sure you do not have a kid that is afraid or not used to baby goats.

Lovely farm, we came near closing (our mistake!) so we had to pick quickly. Apples are delicious and we got some amazing baked goods as well. We had a hard time following the map and never did find the cherries, though we wish we'd been told the plums and nectarines were pretty much picked out. All in all I would definitely return here for a more leisurely visit to see all they have to offer!

Loved this place. Very affordable family afternoon. We picked peaches, had a wagon ride.l, learned how to properly pick peas and peaches. Bought some yummy salsa. Kids loved the playground/ petting zoo. Fed the goats and sheep. The live entertainment was a nice touch. All staff was friendly helpful and kind to the kids. The view from the orchard of the valley below was beautiful. They also had interesting knicknacks for sale. A special place.

Such an amazing place - with so much to do!!! They offer more variety of different fruits and vegetables than I even knew existed! The kids (and adults!!) thoroughly enjoy themselves every time we go. Between the Enormous U-pick, petting and bottle feeding the aminals (SO cute!), the sound garden, apple golf - and tennis, and all the other entertaing things DCO offers, we have an exciting day full of enjoyable and cherished memories. Perfect place for a great family day, or a great spot for a first date. Such a welcoming environment, and friendly staff. The owners are very pleasant and sociable. You can't go wrong with this place.

Started as a lovely fun afternoon with a cute playground for the kids and lots of fruit to pick but once arriving to the petting zoo the day went downhill. One of the donkeys latched onto my goddaughters arm through the fence, it broke her skin and badly bruised her arm. We told the staff inside, where they gave us a bandaid... and told us that she was the second child today to be bit by that donkey. The exact same donkey was pet minutes before by other children and adults. Would not recommend going near the fences or petting zoo at all with young children. It’s unsafe.

Beware eager u-pickers, this is a money grab. The farm is large with a great variety to pick from. I did not pick any fruit because the lady wanted to charge a $2 admission fee for each person. I was only going to pick a few plums but before I could pick a few lbs I would have been required to pay $8. Then when I cam back I would have had to pay the $1.50lb of plum which is no deal. She said the fee was for touring the farm and cover any fruit the patrons would eat while out in the orchard. As adult patrons I can assure you we would not have gorged while in the orchard. Tasting a plum before picking sure but certainly not more then 1. I can tell you I've been to many different kinds of u picks over the years and I have never been required to pay admission fees. For this reason I give them a 1 start rating. I walked out and refused to buy into this money grab seems to be run more like a county fair then a local farm.
