I used 2 see people's dogs wander off onto the road except they put up fencing around the whole field so that doesn't happen...plus they quardened off different sections of the field 2 protect the little dogs from being attacked by bigger ones and keeps dogs with behavioral issues apart from other dogs..

It's possible if you have a perfectly trained dog that you trust wholeheartedly... Yet who has that? Would be much more responsible to just install a perimeter fence come on! Drove here to take my pup for a walk because it was on the way. Had I known there were no fence I wouldn't of wasted my time

Really need separation between the path and the dogs. I bike through here a lot and see many others who do as well. However I broke my clavicle due to a bicycle collision with a dog because he was off leash. This would not have occurred if the dog was behind a fence. Its as nice place for recreation, just make it safer for the dogs and the people.

Very nice trail to go for walks and clear my mind. Its an extension from 118th avenue to 111 avenue. The city is doing good job rejuvenating the trail. Its fun for dogs and people. Thanks

Im staying at the Edmonton Inn & Conference Centre (affordable and dog friendly) this is a 10 minute walk away, and I agree that it would be better with a fenced area, but definitely appreciated having a place the dogs could really run. I also appreciated the cyclists being well lit so that I could see them way in advance and get the dogs leashed before they’d succumb to any temptation to chase.

I appreciate the fact that it is an off leash park for the dogs. All I ask that is the owners kindly leash their dogs while on or remove them from the paved portion, in other words the bike path, running path, multi use path or whatever term you wish to use when they see an oncoming cyclist, runner, etc. As a cyclist I will do my part by slowing down and as the dog owners I will expect you to do yours. That way everybody can be safe and happy while using the area.

Off leash dog park that’s literally right beside a very busy Main Street. Would be nice if it was fenced it. I definitely do not recommend bringing your pup here if they lack training and don’t listen well.

It’s a beautiful view of downtown and a great place to let my dog burn off all his energy before bedtime. Nice dogs and friendly people, good idea. Would be complete with some water fountains to drink for pets and their owners!!!

I took my dog here for the first time last weekend. He is fully vaccinated and healthy. Developed Kennel Cough two days later. Plus the area is just an open grass stretch of space beside an ally.. not fenced off and cars driving by.. won't be returning there..

Was a great off leash dog park until recently. Homeless are now pitching tents. Shopping carts and garbage collecting near their sites. So sad.

Very busy. A few dog owners do not control their animals very well, creating a nuisance for others. Go to Terwlligar instead.

This park runs from 107 Ave, to 118 Ave along the old railway right of way...there is a bike path that is paved all of the way to 104 Ave. and bikers share the roadway gladly with people with dogs. There used to be a break for a kiddy playground close to 109th Ave. but with the paving, it is no longer an issue. There is a berm between 112 and 113 Ave which is a fun feature for the dogs. Lots of room to roam, good selection of trees for shade, friendly dogs
