Great location for some fresh produce. They also have baked goods(the bread was incredible) and a mix of plenty of other things to buy. Definitely worth a stop. After shopping and enjoying a bite to eat, go visit the animals in the back. There are chickens, roosters, goats, etc... all nearby for people to see, feed or pet.

What a fun stop for all ages! It's really geared for little ones but my teenage daughter and I really enjoyed the farm animals, the tractor tour of the orchards and the amazing selection of fresh fruit, preserves and fresh baked goods! I wish I lived closer so I could go more often!

Always great to walk through the the gift shop and look at the country Chic decor. Also I love the little taste testers strewn throughout ! I recommend the mixed berry frozen yogurt - so rich and creamy and delicious. Amazing produce and the apple juice is perfection.

Great place to go have a coffee overlooking Vernon, or bring your whole family and let the children play with two playgrounds to choose from. There are beautiful gifts and souvenirs, but the icing on the cake of this place is it's produce and apple juice ????

Radical place to visit. The train ride (tractor ride) is rad. I have done both the pumpkin patch ride and now the apple ride as well. It is nice that there is no entry fee to get to the nice large playground area and where the animals are. It makes spending more money at their fabulous store a lot easier! Very friendly staff and lots of homemade items.

Bit of a tourist trap but done very well. The produce here is of very high quality but you do pay for it. Lots and lots of quality souvenirs. Anything you would need for the kitchen back home. Grounds are well kept and the animals are a nice touch. Would go again for sure.

Cute place to stop by. Best apple juice! Their pies are a hit and miss, however apple pie is pretty consistent. Their auntie mays food stop is rather uneventful. Staff were ok, even though breakfast menu was on the board, displayed; they said they wouldn’t serve us breakfast sandwiches and they quickly changed the menu to lunch. We decided to go elsewhere. Regardless, a great place for kids to run around and play.

Great stop for fresh fruit and veggies in Vernon. You can sit and enjoy a cup of coffee and piece of pie with a great view from the patio overlooking Lake Okanagan. Not super accessible for wheelchairs especially to the restroom area but friendly and welcoming.

A must-do for the kids when you’re in Vernon. Great food, lots of animals and parks for the kids. The store has a ton of stuff but the jams are absolutely delicious (and there’s usually samples for you to try as well). The cafe on site has good food and coffee. We were there on the wrong day, but there is usually a train running for the kids.

An extremely interesting place and area, if i had more time i would have visited every store in the little village, and everything we got was absolutely spectacular. Wonderful place. I love this orchard. Lots of fresh fruits, juice and multiple products which are made fresh are available. Took the little tractor train ride around the farm and our driver did a little stop where he explained the run around of the orchards. Very well maintained place and very cheap to navigate around. Absolutely lovely, highly recommend this place to people of all ages. Also don't forget to check the bee store located on the main road ( by the entrance) Note: some items are seasonal and may not be available when you visit.

I may have to go again on a weekday to give a better review, as I am averse to crowds, and it was extremely crowded. The problem is I don't really want to go again. Seems like a great place for autumn pictures if that's your thing, and free admission is great, but I find the prices high otherwise. Then again, this is a small town with little competition, so--charge what you can with a monopoly! (Or close to it)

Great place for the family and coming here has become an annual tradition for mine. Large unique farm style playground with tunnels and slides and tree houses and tractors for the kids. Lots of animals nearby that love to be fed, tractor tours around the property and a large country village/market place. Best time to visit is in fall. Check their website and social media for current events taking place on the weekends.

Summary: The Kids Have Fun, Stuff is Expensive I could be criticized either way: "It's a tourist trap!"; OR, "It's tourist heaven!" We have come here once during the summer for the last 5 years, so something keeps us coming back. My guess is: - Kids have fun feeding and petting the animals. The donkeys are the best. - Kids have fun playing in the kids park with slides, net, small tree house, frisbee golf - Kids have fun eating ice cream - Kids have fun making the link between food and farming. After all, the grocery store is just a way-point. I guess this is also a good reminder for adults. Everything sold there is priced for tourists. Would you really buy a styrofoam squirrel for about $30?? See you next year, Davison Orchards!

If you do love to get away from the city and just enjoy breakfast/lunch plus buy fresh fruits etc then this place is a must. They also do 20min tours around the orchards and let the kids experience fun while riding a tractor. This place offers fresh baked bread, coffee, breakfast and lunch items, fruit ice cream ????.

Lots of goodness here. Great place to take your little ones! Parking is good and there are plenty of open spaces to explore. Lots of goats, sheep, and other animals to show your kids as well as tractor rides and playgrounds. When you're tired or just want to meet up with a friend, there are cafes and restaurants too.

So much fun! It's neat to see the orchard trees. They also have pigs, goats, and sheep to see - quite fun for little ones. They have a shop with their fresh produce for sale as well as other neat items (jams, syrups, tea towels, mugs). They also have pies, yum! We ate at the little cafe, they serve sandwiches, soups, scones, and pie. The soup and scone was very tasty.

Cutest little place in Vernon!! Great place to bring kids. We took an orchard tour and got great information about the family that runs the farm itself. Their general store offered an ice cream or yogurt that was blended with fresh berries on the spot. SOOO good! They had a little petting zoo where you can pay a quarter to get some treats to feed the goats and sheep. They obviously know foods coming because they will out on this crazy show for you! Lol ... lots of artisan goods and local produce. They have pies and sausages as well as fruits, jams and other kitchen products. A must see in Vernon!

It is one of our staples when we visit Vernon/Lake Country/Kelowna. We always end up sticking around for the food, or buying the food (and apple juice) on our drive back home. We like how there is plenty to do for all ages, and being able to tour the orchard was an interesting experience. Coming here during Apple Picking Season is probably our favorite time to come.

A lovely place to visit for both adults and children. The view & the fall colors are amazing this time of year. Other attractions is a barn with chickens, goats, donkeys, wild turkeys and horses and a lovely gift shop with many interesting items and apples galore. Before leaving we had hot apple cider with a maple pumpkin scone. Yum yum Highly recommend to take the time to enjoy this place and try great local food. ❤️

i really was disappointed with the customer service at this place. and besides cute playgrounds for my farm l9ving boy i was disappointed. we couldnt pet animals the train ride was like 5 min with a 15 min stop for the driver to talk about the farm. oh i did like the food .

Awesome country farm fresh goods, fruit market and cafe. Best place to stop in Vernon on a hot day, MUST get the apple juice slushie, it is sooooo good. Cafe has really good sandwiches and soups and pies. My personal favorite is the turkey on rye, surprisingly good, like you'll want another one after eating it. Inside the market the concentrated apple juice is awesome, get frozen bottle if taking home on long drive. Salad dressing and other bottled goods are amazing. Bathrooms are really nice, modern and clean. Do not skip this stop if in Vernon.

We are visiting from Ontario and stopped by and loved it! I cannot day enough about what a great spot this is. We travel a lot and see many places with our kids but I have never seen the care or attention to detail as I have here. It is so clean, well thought out and perfect for families! All ages would like this as they have something for everyone. Playgrounds, and even interactive games for older ones. High chairs, booster seats, and even when we have coffee there was a little snack for the baby! Easy to get around with a stroller! Animals to feed. Gorgeous gift shop and bakery. And the most spectacular view. The staff were all so friendly and helpful. It was a pleasure to spend time there and we will go back as many times as we can before we leave! Someone has taken a lot of effort and time to care for this place and the attention to detail is on point! Well done!

Was a really well-appointed building/business but it was pretty costly to take a wagon ride in a loop from in front of the building we started in to behind that same building where we were allowed to pick apples. We felt pretty rushed to pick from two designated lines of apple trees and get back on the train (less than 10 minutes later) to go back to the same building. The driver may have just been having an off day but he was all business about how not to damage the trees and no smiles. Think we were just hoping for something more relaxed and less timed/guided.

One of Vernon's treasures. They seem to have and do everything here. They grow there own produce and have a market place on site to sell you anywhere from jams, pies, their own apple juice and a wide selection of fresh produce of all kinds. They have a little place you can have a nice lunch with a wide selection on the menu including their own pies. Nice after a sandwich and soup for sure. They even have fun rides for the family. A must for any Vernon visitor. Clean and well maintained with a long family history. And if you like honey, there is the best honey sore you will ever visit. It is just outside the Davison Orchard ????????

Davison Orchard is a tradition for our family. They have something for everyone and it gets a little better each year. Make sure you dress for farm, it can be a little muddy if you want to explore the pumpkin patch and visit the animals. They have the most adorable little cafe with really nice seasonal meals and snacks and HOT DRINKS!! We bring any thanksgiving guests from out of town to the orchard for a day, it's just a treasure here in the Okanagan.

It's a great place to bring your little kids and have a bite, the local produce is really great, all of their food they make is really good (if you want to bring a jar of something home as a gift from the okanagan, this is the place), the knick knacks are nice, you can pay to have a ride on the tractor train, there is SO MUCH about this place that I love. The APPLE JUICE! The CARAMEL APPLES! The PIES! I hate making pie crust, so sometimes I will buy some of their frozen pie crusts and dough balls. Did I mention the new barn where the kids can pet and feed the animals? It's great. It's not cheap here, but it's doable. They work hard to make sure you get a good product for the price. Okay, moms of littles: if you are having one of those days where you TOTALLY GET why some animals eat their young, just come. Get a coffee and a treat, buy them a smiley cookie on a stick, and sit on the patio or the grass eating pie while they run around playing with the tractors and the tire horse and slide down the barn slide. Odds are by the end of your coffee you will all feel a lot better.

So much fall..... I love this place on a sunny fall day! The food.... the piles of pumpkins and squash.... The fall leaves.... the vegetables and Oh! the baking! This has become a favourite place for finding Thanksgiving extras .... a sauce or pickles..... or bags of apples to be made into special treats at home.... a little pricey perhaps but sooooo good.... and a ride on the pumpkin train makes it perfect!

Sad to say but Davison Orchards has just become another Dollar Store. The time when you could purchase the highest quality of produce, beets, bell peppers, hot peppers, tomatoes, and so on and so forth is gone probably for good. We visited the venue today, July 20, 2017, just found a box of zucchini, white potatoes, peaches and apricots; that was about it. No more U-Pick, just a huge kind of Dollar Store with products probably manufactured in China. Another traditional family business swallowed by greed associated to the wrong business strategy.

This place is so fun to visit!!! They have a wagon ride around the property that is worth the price if the ticket. They tell you about the different fruits and vegetables they grow, let you get out and take a look at things, etc. Both times we’ve done this the kids have loved it and I’ve lived the information and great view. The general store is filled with fantastic items, fresh food and their incredible homemade apple juice, a must try... so is the apple juice slushy, wow!

Maybe there were wayfinding signs but we could not see them; the layout was a bit confusing, and the one sign I did find pointed to nowhere ahaha. We figured things out eventually and had a good time once we got situated. Chose two phenomenal pumpkins and left feeling real chuffed overall. ????????????

A must stop for families! We LOVE Davison Orchards. There's so many fun places to play - hay bales, slides, barns, tractors, tires, and more. Plus there's the animals you can watch and feed - donkeys, goats, sheep, horses, and birds. There's tractor rides, a gift shop, and the best little Cafe. We took the tractor tour, picked apples, then after the ride, shopped for apple juice and visited the play area. I've never seen so many varieties of apples and other fruits and veggies in one place. My friend and I were travelling from Revelstoke to Kelowna and originally stopped here to pick apples, unfortunetly we missed apple picking season, but we were just in time for PUMPKIN season! I was elated about this. They seem to have a lot to do if you have kids, so I believe it would be a great place for families to visit. My friend and I had a great time visiting the animals and checking out their gorgeous store with goods made on site. I ended up getting some BBQ sauce, cheese, jam, scones, apple juice, and of course pumpkins! They also had blue and pink naturally grown pumpkins which I had never seen before! Overall, great fall activity, would recommend. Just go earlier than October if you want to pick apples ;)

This is a great little spot to stop. Excellent produce and fruit available throughout the season. Small petting zoo where you can feed the goats and pigs. Staff are friendly and welcoming. Absolutely love this place! One of the reasons we keep returning to Vernon. We visit at least 3 times per trip, our kids love the play area (free) , feeding the farm animals (25¢)and trying the delicious food, baked goods and the most amazing apple juice (cold pressed) we've ever had. It is my just to sit and relax, have a meal and let the kids run. They also offer an orchard tour (tractor train) and u pick later in the summer / early fall for apples and pumpkins. A great place for family fun and not over priced at all.

Lots to do for little kiddos, for free. We chose to go on the paid tractor train tour and it was well worth it! Our guide was part of the Davison family and was incredibly knowledgeable. He was also AMAZING with all of the kids on the tour. We stopped and picked a cob of corn and ate it right there in the field. Such a great experience. Lunch at the coffee shop was fantastic. The apple slushies were fantastic!

This place is a must-go-to if you’re in the Vernon area. I explored Davidsons in the spring, it seemed a bit early by they had a ton of kitchen helper items, lots of sauces, and bbq prep spices to get you started for the season. Found a cute bamboo coffee mug for a co-workers birthday. In their freezer section they had chicken pot pies and a selection of frozen berry pies that looked delicious. They also have a bakery that mades some delicious cinnamon buns and scones. Great place for kids as well, they have a few goats out back that you can pet and feed. During the harvest season they have a lot of fresh veggies and fruits for sale.

Decided to try something different for Canada day since the parks can get crazy!! We brought our 3 young kids 7 and twins 5. They had a super fun time playing in the simple but fun playgrounds, the kids had fun petting the goats, we went on a tractor tour through the orchards and learned cool stuff about the history of the Davison orchards and how it is still family run and the grandfather still works in the orchard and lives right on site in their humble home! Had a delicious lunch at Aunty Mary's cafe the cherry pie was amazing!!!! It was a really fun and relaxing way to spend Canada day with our little family! Highly recommend!!! Also lots of yummy things at the market like scones and fudge!!

Davison Orchards is a must visit if you haven't been. I do wish they offered a local discount of some nature, because the place is extremely expensive, but it is a great place to take your family and kids. Unfortunately I have a very mixed review of this farm. Me and the kids I work with when on the tractor tour took and look around to petting zoo and played on the playground. That was all super awesome and the man that ran the apple tour was very accommodating to my kids 100’s of questions. I was very pleased with his patience. Then we went down to the market for a treat. The lady that was in the market at the till was very rude. Telling us we were causing issues in the store as the kids were trying to figure out what treat they wanted and I was by their sides helping them choose something they could afford and help them count their money. I was unimpressed with her service and lack of understanding that is the reason for the 3 stars. If you are having treats in your store you need to understand children will buy treats some times and some may not be the best at counting money or deciding. What this lady needs is alittle more compassion.

This Family run business is a wonderful experience to be had for everyone from Families, to First Dates. We first came here in the summer of 2016, tried the apple juice, and loved it so much, we haven't stopped coming back since. The Apple Crumble pie is truly the best apple pie we have ever had in our lives (don't tell our grandmas we said so!) even the pie crust is so delicious you will be scraping your plate for every last morsel. Yes, the prices are high; but as with everything in life, you get what you pay for, and when you're serving arguably the best pie around, with local ingredients, in a family run establishment, the prices are more than fair.

We went on a Sunday morning in October for the pumpkin patch and it was full of great stuff to do for the kids. Live music, an epic outdoor "farming" themed playground, petting zoo with very tamed and docile animals that were gentle with the kids. Lots of pumpkins, squash and gourds of huge variety. There was a BBQ, but patrons also can dine at the cafe if they're looking for healthier options or specialty coffees etc. I will definitely bring the family back here again.

The store was better than expected with a lot of neat nick nacks and toys, and great quality food and of course produce. We weren't there to spend big, but tried some treats like fudge, a candy apple, and some of their apple juice. All good. The apple juice was a little bit mind blowingly good actually. Activities for kids were...ok. $4 for entry to the activity park, which isn't much, but our kids did everything pretty much once and that was it. And they are pretty into things like this. There was also a dead rabbit in one of the little pens (unless rabbits sleep with their eyes open and don't breathe)! I was going to tell someone, but before I knew it the place was bustling with people and kids and, well...I hope they didn't notice! We hopped on board a tractor train ride. Everyone else had bags purchased to pick your own apples... Not even sure if we were supposed to pay to ride, but the great farmer man welcomed us on board and tried to stuff our pockets with delicious apples. We bought a bag from the store after tasting them. On the ride, we were all in awe of the huge pumpkins getting ready for harvest events/picking. Seemed like a popular hangout for local mom's and preschool aged kids. I would come back, but mostly for the products they are selling.

Farm tour is fun and interesting, the market has delicious fruits and other fruit products with good prices. Nicely designed in a good layout. Animals were amazing to watch, pet, and feed. Didn't do the u-pick because at the time we went there only tomatoes and peppers were ready to be picked. The staff are very friendly and helpful. My only comment is to have different farm tours for adults and families. I didn't enjoy kids crying and the guide only talking to kids.

Fun place to check out if you are in Vernon or the surrounding area. Family orchard with lots of fruit, vegetables and baked goods (pies are delicious!). They also have a small "petting zoo" with some farm animals you can feed with the kids. A small market to walk through with lots unique goods (little bit pricy though). I believe they also have a train tour through the orchard. Small cafe on site has some good and drinks (the appleanche is awesome!). Go check it out!

It's a great place to take kids to (I believe there's even a petting zoo somewhere, though I didn't check it out myself). Vintage look and feel, great old-timey vibes. They don't have EVERYTHING, though. E.g. I asked for eggs and they said they don't sell 'em.

Great for the kids. The tractor train ride was both fun and instructive. We liked how all the types of plants in the fields were clearly labeled so you could see which types of eg apples such as Ambrosia, Royal Gala etc. Peach and apple pies were both delicious. Plenty of animals to pet; you can buy some feed at the vending machines and give it to the animals as well. The main store was clean; it is always good to see employees sweeping floors and keeping the place tidy. Overall great value for the money.

Stopped here on our road trip. Really nice and clean place. Some little play areas and animals for the kids to enjoy at no charge . Took the tractor aka train ride (you have to pay) the staff could be a little more clear on ride times as with us and others there was some confusion regarding when the tour starts and the train leaves. The guy that gave the tour was really nice and did a good job. Last train ride is at 4pm. Lots of products but a bit pricey in my opinion.

Definitely has become a tourist trap and has lost pretty much all the wholesomeness that it used to have. Certain recipes have changed for the worse and feel less homemade. The restaurant there has very little options and was very expensive for being like a 5/10. Long lines, screaming kids, empty wallets.

This was a fun place with fresh fruit and ice cream the only issue was when we were there it was very hot and it really smelled like they had a sewer leak somewhere close to the visitor area. I have smelled a few farms in my life and this was definitely more sewer then manure. This is a very good place. The ice cream is the very best ice cream. There are a lot of animals such as horses, pigs, goats and chickens. I couldn't touch them because a barricade blocked me from them. However, this wasn't disappointing because in Japan there is the same type of barricade preventing you from touching the animals. Simply an amazing place to get fresh Okanagan fruit (cherries, peaches, nectarines, etc.) We were told u-pick was not an option to n yet, as fruits were not in harvest (mid July). However, the petting zoo (we saw chickens, goats, and sheep), sandbox with toys, and tractor rides are inviting for the whole family. A separate cafe serves fresh baked goods, making it impossible to walk out with just a handful of fruit. Top it off with a full line of juices, jams, and treats and we can see why people come by the bus load... the owners got everything right and has put the money back into the business, resulting in a very polished retail look. To clarify someone else's post, this orchard is in Vernon (on the way to Kelowna if you are taking 97 south.)

Great place..I'm concern about how packed it was when we were there the pther day. There were signs of social distancing but people weren't really following it. There were no signs or tapes though on how far people should distance themselves at the line ups. I think there should be a responsibility in the part of the business owners to be strict about telling people to wear masks and do social distancing but I guess they are getting people and it's good for the business.

When I have to travel to Vernon for difficult family issues, I try to stop in to stock up on various jams and gift items. The items for sale are quite pricey so it's easy to ring up a significant bill - be aware of that. It's a lovely facility overall and fantastic ice cream for a treat. But...silly remarks from older male employees who pat the inside of my buggy and say things like, "Oh, looks like I'm going to get paid this time," are unprofessional and irksome.

Very cute little village, people are friendly and cordial. The train ride was fun and the driver information was great. We had the soup and sandwich for lunch and that part was very disappointing, the soup was supposed to be beef and veggies but basically was a tasteless cold water with very few veggies, no beef anywhere and the sandwich was just ok, very expensive for what you get. I have always gone to Davidson orchards for my Halloween pumpkins and since becoming a momma I go for all the wonderful experiences I get to have with my children... I have suggested to many of my friends with children to come and enjoy all there is to offer at Davidson orchards

The grocery store is very expensive but at least the pies we bought were very good. The staff was friendly and helpful. We also had ice cream and sat on a bench and enjoy the beautiful creation on nature around us. The trees and hills seemed to go on forever.

Love Davidson orchard! We visit it anytime we are in Vernon. We picked up the most beautiful pumpkins for Halloween. The vegetables and fruit is always fresh and amazing the grow it all here. I love their apple cider and pick up a few frozen ones every year. If your in the area you should make a stop even if it's just for a quick bite at the restaurant.

Great for adults and kids. Our kids didn't want to leave as there was so much to see and do. Loved the tractor tour through the orchards and the large play area behind the main buildings, and the mini pies & cheese dill scones were to die for.

My favorite place we've visited in the Okanagan! Amazing cafe with homemade apple juice and pie, a train tour through the orchard, a great little store with many samples and a play area for kids with animals in the back.

Nice place. Thought there would be more animals to see; however that was not the case. However there is a store on site offering various items - food, pastries, souvenirs etc.The farm made apple juice is excellent. The view from the farm is picturesque. It's worth a visit.

Not really impressed this time around. Small strawberries were covered with larger ones and were overripe. Got a "card" from the main area and went to the restaurant shortly after. Service was a really bad and wouldn't accept my card because she already cashed the transaction before I paid. I asked her why she didn't ask if I had a card and she said she forgot. Food was also very greasy. When I went to the counter to get my food she just pointed to the area around the corner without saying anything. No points and poor service for me equals 1 star for them.

How can one not love Davisons! Stunning location, wonderful family members and staff (so down to earth and friendly), cuddly animals to pet and feed, entertaining displays of fall goodies, and a huge Pumpkin Palace. Kids just love this place and I become one again every time I’m there. Then of course there is the food, food items, and apples, pears, and a wide variety of beautiful produce for sampling and sale. The orchard tour and picking lessons are a must do, especially if it’s your first time there. This family has really hit the bullseye on providing the atmosphere and welcoming attitude to ensure repeat visits. We’re heading back there tomorrow having eaten the apples and peanut brittle we purchased last week.

Davison Orchard offers excellent views of Vernon. Some may say everything is overpriced here, but that's because it is a local farm and tourist attraction. Support local, man. we had a coffee screamer and strawberry vanilla ice cream come. Both were delicious. Kids seem to love it here with the goats, multiple playgrounds, oversized chairs, and the fake jail cell. People love buying corn here and pies. They also have their own pumpkin patch in fall. It's really really busy here on weekends, especially late spring and early summer. We came here Tuesday afternoon and it's super peaceful. That's where it's at.

Martin sure loves Davison Orchards ! We loved the tractor ride, Than you Robert for the tour, the animals, wonderful grill cheese sandwich, chicken rice soup, and fresh cherry pie with ice cream. The gift store was amazing!

Apple's were great the pumpkins got mold on them top and bottoms in three days. Last year the peaches had brown rot I know that some of this is hard to control but disappointed to the consumer that buys locally and transported it home to throw out. ????????

Fantastic place for family and friends. The best apples around, so many flavours. In the fall, the pumpkin patch is adorable so many pumpkin and gourds to choose from. The market is fun with knick knacks to decorate your home with. The fresh baked good are so tasty. The cafe has some tasty fresh soups and sandwhiches. A real treat to visit.

Bring your kids here! Without a doubt a great place, with a handful of free activities. Including an awesome play area and petting zoo. Bring quarters (petting zoo food) and definitely try the apple slush! I won't even drink apple juice but after trying my daughters, I had to have one. They also have fresh fruit ice cream and frozen yogurt along with a small farmers market. Did I mention no admission fee?

Never enough time! Such a fun atmosphere and the selection of apples is amazing. Always enjoy going and I always spend too much money ad their products are so good.
