Such a unique perspective of the redwoods! The sky trail allows you to walk 100 feet up in the air in the redwood forest in Eureka. The best thing about this trail is that it’s all wheelchair accessible. Even if you are afraid of heights yes he’s a must see a traction! The trail is very safe for kids and very memorable experience. From the top of the bridge you can see wildlife and the lush green forest blow. This is a great addition to the zoo!

The Sky Walk is amazing. The educational placards along the way to the main loop add insight that the visitor might not realize with a passing visit. Did you know there is a salamander whose entire life cycle is spent in the canopy of the redwoods? Now you do, but don’t take my word for it, go on the Sky Walk. The height of the thing will give reasonable adults an appreciation of the perspective professional tree surgeons do regularly. Certain to become a popular area attraction. They can’t call it an Ewok village for licensing reasons. But maybe we can celebrate ‘bigfoot’ town and do the same thing.

Absolutely a new gem for the crown that is Eureka and our lovely and unique zoo. You can finally not strain your neck to take in a Redwood! There is both handicap accessable portions and an adventure wing with suspended bridges that you can see through to the forest floor one hundred feet below. A view I've always wondered about and now have seen, a view from the sky!

I'm obsessed, I've been multiple times already and it hasn't been open very long! I have lived in redwood country for 15+ years and still find so much to enjoy about this. There are infinite details to notice about the forest ecosystem when you're up amongst the trees. Have to get a zoo membership now! I was able to take my mom in a wheelchair and she enjoyed it and felt safe and secure, too, while I did the adventure portions on the swinging bridges with an out-of-town visitor. There were a lot of people there each time I went but it didn't take anything away from the experience - actually everyone's excitement was very contagious ????

Definitely recommend. Along with friendly staff and volunteers, this park offers a cute little zoo including petting area but the Redwoods Skywalk is definitely the main attraction!!! Amazing views of the Redwood trees including being so high up along the wooden skywalk.

Nice zoo and the newly opened skywalk. This is right in the middle of residential area. But we’ll maintained. Zoo was OK, nothing great. But the Skywalk among redwoods was amazing. The height it takes you in short walk is unbelievable! Worth the visit to the zoo only for this walk. Ample parking on the road. They appear to be doing more work on the park next to zoo, which will be pretty nice!

The sky walk was amazing! A different kind of experience... seeing the forest from high above. Highly recommend. Read somewhere that the sky walk is 100ft above the ground and is about 1/4 mile and is considered the longest sky walk in the western United States. Best part is that it's included with the zoo tickets. Also I pretty sure some parts of the sky walk is Wheel chair accessible.

I heard about the Redwood Skywalk and thought it sounded really fun. I drove 5.5 hours from the Bay Area to experience it and was kind of let down. It is a really great idea but it's not executed like I was expecting. Its not very long and it's not worth the admission price for a non-resident. $25 to get into a zoo that didn't have many animals and a short skywalk (1/4 mile round trip) is not worth it in my opinion.

A zoo worth the stop for! The sky walk on opening weekend was way cooler then expected! While a smaller zoo, the variety of animals was different then those of larger cities making it very unique. Tip: the red pandas sleep 20 hours a day, they were feeding them around 4pm so a good chance to see their adorable faces if there in the layer day. I'll come back when passing by again one day.

Definitely a must see if you are in the area. Being up with the redwoods is an amazing experience. The suspension bridges get more wobbly as you progress but still extremely safe and can’t say enough about the views.
