The zoo is a good small zoo with educational classes for kids. The playground and splash pad are fun for all aged kids. Bathroom facilities by the playground are pretty clean and maintained. Lots of picnic areas for families. During the summer there's paddle boats on the lake and mini golf.

It was my 1st time visiting Miller Park and I was actually surprisingly pleased. The park is clean, a great balance environment for adult and kids. The play ground, water splash park and walking path could be a great outing for the family. Surprisingly, there is a small zoo which I didn't think it would have much but I was pleased with the small zoo. There were more animals than I expected. The zoo is just the right size for family with small kids.

This is a really nice park on the west side of Bloomington, but the lake needs to be cleaned out. It smells horrible when you get to the end and has trash floating around. It’s great that they have paddle boating so it gives you something to do while you’re there. The park and water park there are very nice and great for families. It’s also a popular place to fish, but it would be nice if there were trails or more sidewalks so you didn’t have to walk on the road.

Just had my son's 2nd birthday party here and all of our guests had a wonderful time! They have amazing party packages and their staff was wonderful! Very intimate exhibits and you're very close to the animals!

This is such a nice park! We are new to the area and staying nearby but will be moving to the Peoria area. I wish this was closer to where we will be living but will visit when we are in the area. It's very clean, they have an awesome Pavillion that i'm sure is great to host events in. They have paddle boats that would be so fun to use in the calm water. We saw a bunch of baby ducklings, it was adorable. They were everywhere! Of course we kept our distance to not scare them. I definitely want to check out the Zoo one day soon! Nice place to take a walk with your family (pets included), nice park with plenty of attractions for kids. Love it!

Loved it! Architecture was great, and it was lovely to walk around a beautiful park. Lots of room to walk and breathe fresh air. Geese enjoyed the water, and the bridges made for lovely photo opportunities.

What a rip of. They will charge you full price to enter park. But there may only be 12 animals to be seen. So beware they are ripping people of. The exhibits are closed to enter. But the gift shop is open. Can you explain that miller park you allow 9 people max to enter gift shop. But there may have only been 9 people in the park and we can't see all the animals.

CLAEN AND SAFE PLACE FOR THE FAMILY TO SPEND THE DAY AND HAVE SOME FUN!!Very reasonable in price for the zoo. All kinds of things to do for adults and kids! They have mini golf, the zoo, paddle boating, several parks for kids , a splash pad area , and s concession stand. Pack up a cooler and the family and go have some fun at Miller Park!

I have been going to this park for 60 odd years. Took the grandkids to play in the water jets and go through the Zoo, always a great time. It may be a tad under whelming for some, I enjoy the lack of chaos.

Loved the park. ITs always clean. Tons of things to do for the kids. Lots of place for walking or jogging. the war memorial near by and the Vintage locomotive is a cherry on top. Only improvement could be the parking area. The zoo makes finding parking pretty tricky.

Enjoyed the afternoon with family at the Miller Park and Zoo in Bloomington. Enjoyed seeing the Birds and Snow Leopards in the Zoo. A couple enormous snakes, not so much...EEK! The zoo was small enough to navigate for someone with medical issues seeking excercise and being outdoors. If i lived in Bloomington i would look into the senoir activities they offer.

Note: Visitors should drive carefully as the birds and critters don't always understand to stay out of the way of cars. Don't feed the animals or geese/ducks. Love this place!

I absolutely love this park. It's clean and always a fun place for the kiddos. There is a small playground area for babies and small toddlers (away from the main playground area) and a wonderful large playground that my big toddler loves to run around. There is mini golf, paddle boats, and an absolutely AMAZING little zoo. There are plenty of areas to grill out. There are also some beautiful memorials to firefighters and soldiers of different wars. Large open fields and a baseball diamond are also popular. There's something for everybody here. I always suggest a stroll along the lake and over the bridge.

Our family has visited Miller Park for years wether its been during the fireworks in July or during the summer for the splash pad. We've always have had tons of fun. Thou it can get a little crowded during the summer and I would like some more toddler things incorporated into the park its a great place to kids.

It's awesome to be able to come during social distancing time, the path is laid out well and the staff really care. I recommend going during the earlier hours in the summer, as the animals are a bit more active before the heat sets in.

We had an amazing time at Miller park today having a 2nd Birthday party for our great niece. The kids loved the water park and playground and what wonderful picnic table areas that are covered from the sun!!! After the party we packed up and headed into the zoo never a disappointment. Just a wonderful day all around. A great place to spend a day with the kids and the water park is free.

Is a nice park, good zoo as well. But the one thing I can say is the fishing is great. Paddle boats are cool, but can't fish off them, which sucks. Wish they would let u again at one time I did fish from them. Not a fan of the water park, always crowded on hot days, really no fun for the kids who can't join the fun also. Putt putt golf is cool too, wish they would stay open more. Good place with alot to do and way more..

Went with grandaughter's 1st grade class. The kids were good, animals were moving around and the playground was big enough for several classes and others that happened to be there. It seems to always be clean and well taken care of. Parking was ok, though everybody wants to park as close as possible to the zoo. Construction going on, but there are more than enough places to park. The kids did seem to like the flamingos and the new alligators though a lot though it wasn't real because he was an albino. Come see, you'll have fun.

The park has always been wonderful.. Great shows, awesome zoo, amazing jungle gym, good family environment..however, it's the water splash area that could use a little work. I only say this because the ground is only cement..excited small children + water + cement ground. I watched two kids slip and fall and hit their head in the center of the splash area. The water builds up in that area making it very slippery. The water pressure of the splash area should be checked as well. More and more children stopped playing because the water pressure wouldn't stay strong for very long..about 20 to 30 seconds of great playtime and then at least 1.5 to 2 minutes for it to build back up. (the rubbing post to turn the water back on didn't work) However! Fantastic park that should be visited. The rating is a 3 ONLY because of the waterpark issues..very very very big safety hazard..but! Great place

Very clean and quiet. The combination of trees and peacefulness of the small lake with ducks are greatly well harmonized. It is really heavenly paradise. We have been deeply grateful to every maintenance staff of the Park.

I can appreciate the many activities offered at this beautifully maintained park. Only $4 to rent this peddle boat for a half hour, what a steal!! It was me and my daughter's first time trying peddle boats. Hope to be back soon

Miller Park is a wonderful Park. The zoo is nicer than a town or size deserves. There are always events going on (animal crackers, fire works, fishing tournaments, ...something). Plus there is plenty of play grounds and open spaces.

Miller Park is a great place for anyone, especially for children and those young at heart. It's a medium to small zoo, laid out conveniently and always seeming to have a new exhibit open and another under construction. As a bonus, a huge free "splash park" has just opened outside of the main gate with plenty of free parking to cool off with before a walk in the zoo and/or a picnic in the park. Certainly one of Bloomington/Normal's most precious gems.

Pretty. Nice trees, grounds well attended. Splash pad seems good. Overall clean and well kept facilities. My only critiques are some of the wooden picnic tables are warped because they weren't weather proofed. There is also some earth moving for a new feature that is fenced off. This is fine but signs would be good.
