David was highly competent, responsive, flexible, hardworking, and understanding of our particular needs. We felt comfortable and low-pressure through the whole process. We were also very impressed with his accuracy in predicting roughly what particular houses would sell for, and therefore what price would increase our chances of getting them. This kind of thing demonstrated his understanding of the most important thing - how to make a good offer without over-paying. He was also very attentive, getting back to us as soon as possible at all times, so that we never felt his timing was an issue in our attempts to tour/make an offer on a house. Our priorities changed throughout our months working with him, and he was very adaptable to that, re-orienting the search and explaining the nuances of the market dynamics. We are in Durham region, which he knows well, and it has been a difficult time to buy in this area to say the least. There were a couple hiccups on the closing due to the seller and our mortgage company making some mistakes, and David was always quick to take these kinds of issues into his own hands and deal with them effectively. We'll be recommending him to our family and friends. If you're looking, give him a call.

Unfortunately, I have to take back what I wrote up previously here. After signing the agreement, Jim was suppose to show us the house twice before closing which he never did! He sent another agent once and the second visit which was very important because the house was vacant and we could make sure everything is ok before closing, never happened. The inspector Jim recommended also did a very bad job and did not include the obvious stains of mold in the closets in his report! The closing lawyer also recommended by Jim never returned my email. Now because of Jim's negligence,I have to deal with mold issue! I do not recommend Jim as an agent. He is not reliable.

Claudio took his time to get to know us personally, so he could match us with a home that would meet both mine, my wife’s and our little dogs needs. Having lived in four countries across three continents over the span of a decade, our experiences dealing with real estate agents had always been vexatious. Living in the US and planning to immigrate to Canada, I found it difficult to identify a reliable agent, but Zoocasa and Alex Kupiec really worked out for me. My brother had recommended that I search on Zoocasa, so I did, and then I was contacted by Alex. I liked him immediately. I had been contacted by other real estate agents that acquired my email and phone information because of submitting requests for info on houses. But I didn't resonate with any of the other agents. I did with Alex. He seemed to get where I was coming from and had lived in the area in which I was interested in purchasing a house. AWFUL company. I had earlier scheduled a meeting with one of their agents for today. I got an email from them yesterday morning confirming my meeting with their agent, Alex Kupiec, to look at some houses. I arrived at the meeting location a bit early and the agent wasn't there so I waited a bit. I called him after 10 minutes, and he says that he was trying to call and leave messages for me for the past several days - strangely NONE of which I can see on my phone or hear on my voicemail. Basically, he wasn't going to show up as he had other appointments now. Weird that Zoocasa support would send me an email just YESTERDAY MORNING letting me know that I would meet him there, yet he was telling me that he had called me and left me messages for several day, and I did confirm my phone number with him. Also strange that neither him nor Zoocasa support had the foresight to try e-mailing me to ask about whether I was going to attend the meeting if he had such a hard time contacting me. Nope I only got an email just yesterday CONFIRMING the meeting time and location. Somebody wasn't telling the truth, and I think trust is very important when working with a realtor. Anyway, it took me almost an hour to get to the meeting location. It was a huge waste of time, and I've never had such an unprofessional and disorganize experience with a real estate brokerage.

Guys, first of all, pay attention to the good reviews and you will see a pattern. Don't be tricked like myself. I worked with Anthony Tomasone for a rental and it was a complete disaster. I basically had no requirement and with my income and credit history, it was not supposed to be hard. Just to give you a feel, I was able to find a condo and sign a lease all by myself within 3 days. About the experience, at first, he was confident that he could find me something within the week. He started off very responsive and fed me with several options. However, this only lasted a couple of days. By the end of that week, he asked me to stay at an Airbnb for another 3 weeks, which was going to cost me $1500 per week, because he was "struggling" to find me anything. After that, he barely communicated with me. He made 2 offers in total during the process until I gave up, while everyday, there were half a dozen new listings that fit my requirement. I am going to buy a house in the next 2 years and I will never consider agents from Zoocasa when I do so.

In mid April when I decided to give Grace a call to officially tell her that we wanted to buy a house and that is when she worked relentlessly to search and in a span of 3 weeks Grace had taken us to over 30 houses and was able to advise us the location and demographics of each area we were shown the houses. Grace is professional ,upbeat and straight forward when it comes to buying a home. She understands that location to schools and groceries were important to my husband and I.
